New Details Regarding EWE/WPW Fantasy Season 1

Okay guys, I made a post over in the WPW rumors section and now going to release some further details over here, and then I'll be posting all future updates to this either in both forums or in something separate. Either way, here are the details I promised.

EWE/WPW Fantasy - Season 1 is going to be testing out an old idea and seeing if we can make something fun. It will be a 5 week event starting next Sunday, February 13th, and ending March 20th 2010. I want to start completely over with the Fantasy format so I've abandoned the WWE outlines I used for the old WPW Fantasy and just made a pitifully simple formula to use for this first run. If any of you have ever played WPW, WWE, Football, Baseball, any kind of fantasy before then you know the format. You pick people you think will do well and draft them to your weekly teams. Depending how good the people you select do is how many points your team will earn, so you'll want to pick people you predict will score highest. Your own individual scores mean nothing if you do not draft yourself. This game tests your logic and prediction skills, not your writing skills.

First, I will list the ways superstars can earn points. Below is the complete list we will be using for Season 1. I want to keep it simple and see how it works before expanding or altering it, so these values will remain constant. All of these values can and will stack with one another.

+3 points for winning match on TNT or Awakening
+1 point for appearing on TNT or Awakening
+1 point for winning a main event match on TNT or Awakening
+5 points for winning match on PPV
+2 points for appearing on PPV
+2 points for winning a main event match on PPV
+1 point for winning a gimmick match
+2 points for winning a handicap match
+3 points for winning the WPW or EWE Tag Team Titles, the WPW Pure Title, WPW Florida State Title, or the EWE Ironman Title
+6 points for winning the WPW Championship or EWE Championship

Simple enough I hope, which is what I want, the last time we did this with the WWE formula it was way too complicated.

Total: 12 Points


Every week everyone who signs up will be able to spend $20,000 on contracts for superstars, either from EWE, WPW, or either fed. Superstar's values have been calculated using their current Card Ranking from the ranking systems I've been creating, and will reflect this week's rankings. The dollar value for the superstars will remain constant through the event despite their card ranking, as this first season will only be a 5 week event anyway. Since TNT still isn't up *shake fist*, we don't have the calculations for the WPW Exclusive superstars yet, or the WPW/EWE superstars, but below listed are all the EWE Superstars and their dollar values throughout the event. As soon as TNT is up and I've updated the rankings, and Dan makes the graphics, I'll make an official thread to sign up in and draft your teams. Everyone who wants to play just remember this is all for fun, so come have fun with us, it only takes a couple of minutes a week and we can all decide together if we want to do a Season 2.

You got it wrong! That's how much it will cost to draft Jokester to your team, you (and all of us) will actually be getting 20,000 a week to spend.
