UFC 105! (please read and respond if aplicable)

Alright guys. I would like anyone who watched this OR wanted to watch this to respond.

Dont say anything about the fights. Just let me know if you did see it or where interested in it.

This is basically a "are you into MMA" thread right now.

    Guys?

but doing it in a shrugish way

    You know what.

If you read this and are not into MMA, you should post as well!

Let us know WHY your not into MMA. Maybe you need to understand the rules better, or have something else explained. Or maybe there is just something about it you dont like. its all good. Just let us at WP know!

    thanks,
AFS and the rest of the WP staff.

man that couture fight was boring except for the close of the last round, only thing i dont like about rnady is when he is in there with someone who has a heavier hammer than he does, he gets clutch happy

    WPW Retired Superstar: Brock Goodman
Career Highlights: Holds lives in my hands. Florida State Champion
WPW Retired Superstars: "Unstoppable" Mike Adams and his lovely bride Jess Adams
Career Highlights: Current WPW General Manager, WPW and PCW Tag Champion and longest reigning PCW World Champion, 1st PCW Women's Champion
The one lamb on WP that will not be led to slaughter by Brock or Annihilated by Adams is Jesse Long who made the awesome sigs

I'm all for a competitive bout, but that main event was a piece of shit. Neither man deserves a title shot. Very unimpressed. Bisping looked decent but still sucks balls. Whoever that dutch guy was he looked good.

I just find UFC and MMA boring in general. I've watched too many fights that just end up being snoozefests on the ground or are over way too quickly.

WPW Superstar Kayne Risen / EWE Superstar Sal Karver

1x Tag Team Champion (w/ Jesse Long)

2x Tag Team Champion (w/ Michael Karver & Van Risen)
    3x Florida State Champion
    1x Ironman Champion (3 weeks)

Noooooo!!! UFC is more interesting from an action point of view than WWE. In fact, we shouldn't really be talking about the two 'sports' in the same forum. WWE is just choreographed spots with soap opera story-lines (still entertaining when it's done well) whereas UFC is a proper contest with plenty of opportunity for genuine sporting excellence. I just wouldn't expect it in a Randy Couture match these days!
I've watched the card up to the Bisping match and all the fights were worthwhile so far. Even the grapplefests on the mat can be interesting if the referee keeps them active. (Can't remember the names exactly but Wilks? nearly broke his opponent's arm on the mat even though he was plainly getting beaten for the other 90% of the match)
    Why, I otta............................................!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with that, but the Couture bout went way past that. It was an actual terrible fight. Could have been better if Vera took some initiative.

I like UFC and the UFC show with the Heavyweights but I don't watch them all too much. I have become a fan of UFC as my brother is an utter fanatic for MMA fighting. Nonetheless not many people really care for it on these boards as well as Wrestling to be honest. I hate to post in here because I am not a huge fan just a casual viewer when nothing else is on..

But what about those heavyweights they are training on that UFC show? Wow The Darkness owns... Anyways thats that.. Also does anyone watch WEC? I like that more than UFC at times.

I watched it. Wasn't overly excited about the card, but I watched it.
