    UFN 19 Results *spoilers*

    Done as the fights happen/end.

First fight on the televised card was Nate "Rock" Quarry vs. "Crazy" Tim Credur.
Both men came out and where clearly ready for a war. This bout started as a fight but quickly turned into said war. Tim's striking technique was clearly sharper and quicker then Nates. Eventually it paid off for Tim as he dropped Nate and then surpisingly quickly he was on Nate's back. Nate was able to work his way out of what at first looked to be a deep choke.

The second round showed that Tim was planning on slowing down. But Nates big right hand made the difference in the middle of a sharp Tim combo. Tim was dropped and the rest of the round was dominated by Nate with some ground and pound. Though Tim was always working and attempting to control the fight while on bottom.

The third and final round was pretty similar. Tim landing lots of clean punches in combos, but then Nate dropped him again and went back to his very focused ground and pound.

The fight was scored 29-28 29-27 and 29-28 for Nate Quarry. Both men looked pretty beaten but sounded like they would go out for beers together later.

Awesome fight. Currently being spoken of like the rest of the fights are going to have to pull the most mazing thing ever to try for Fight of the Night.

First round of Carlos Condit vs. Jake Elensburgershampoo higher (ok, im drinking and its a long name, im busy watching punches)

Carlos is a former dominate WEC champion but was handed a decision loss in a very good battle in is UFC debut.
Jake is a newcomer to UFC but is coming in with 21 wins with very few losses.

Jake rocked Carlos hard TWICE in the round, causing Carlos to collapse to the ground in what looked to be a fight ending pile. But each time he fought back like a machine and kept himself in contention. Jake also nearly locked in two different chokes, showing he has power in his hands and some Jits in his pocket.

Round two started with a takedown by Jake. Slow working but agreesive ground work by both men. Carlos makes an attempt for a Kamura with around two minutes left. He used the Kamura to sweep and gain mount and land some good punches before getting put into half guard.

Carlos was working for mount again before he got sweeped by Jake. A very active second round on the ground. Both men proving to be true fighters.

with 20 seconds left in the round they stand back up and dance around with a few missed punches before the round ends.

    Round 3:
A few strikes in and Jake scores with something comparable to a judo throw to bring the fight back down to the ground. A stiff elbow from Jake breaks up the more frequent work from Condit from the bottom. Both men stand up, Condit landing some of the better strikes before Jake uses a guillatine to take the fight back to the ground. Condit is able to escape and end up in half guard. Condit looks for a choke but gives up in favor of some more strikes from the top.

Jake seems gassed as Condit takes his back and locks in the hooks with some strikes. Jake is able to slip out as Condit looked for an armbar from the back and ends up on top of Condit again.

Standing with a minute left. a takedown by Jake is stuffed and while looking for a Kamura he drives some elbows into the side of his head.
Condit gets the back again with some more strikes. With 10 seconds left Carlos is in a very dominate position but cant end it befor the end of the fight.

    Decision:
Carlos Condit takes the win in a 29-28 / 28-29 / 29-28 split decision victory in yet ANOTHER sick fight on this Ultimate Fight Night card!

    Roger Huerta vs. Gray Maynard.

Both men have very good win records in the UFC. Roger having taken a long time off to take a break from all the attention he was reciveing for his VERY exciting fights. Gray being very dominate in alot of his wins as well.

    Round 1:
First minute is spent with some feeling out. Roger with a few kicks. Then suddenly both men come together with blows and then take a step back again. 2 minutes in and Roger reaches and Gray is able to knock him aside with a heavy punch to the head. Roger gains his footing and they go back to the slow feelout with the ocasional burst of strikes.
Alot of body punches thrown by both men.

Roger is pushing the pace with his ocasional strikes. Another flurry catches Gray off guard and forces him to go on the defensive for a bit, though he attempts to put on some offense while shaking out the cobwebs.
Roger stuffs a takedown attempt and goes for a standing choke, but Gray avoids it and continues to work for the takedown but Roger is able to stop it. THe time ends with both men standing in the middle of the ring.

Compared to the other two fights this one is slower, but still pretty energetic.

    Round 2:
Roger throws some pretty good kicks but as Gray fires his hands it causes Roger to frantically move out of the way and nearly lose his footing twice.
Still seem to be feeling each other out, but Roger is a little sloppy and rushing in with his punches so Gray is able to land a hard counter punch before moving back.

Gray slips a few punches and then drops Roger with a very stiff jab to the jaw. Roger is back to his feet fast and after shaking it off (a clear clue it hurt) he goes back to his spraying of punches.
Rogers punches seem really sloppy to me, so its very possible that Gray could be winning with his much fewer but crisper punches. The only problem Gray has right now is he isnt circling away from the strikes, just backing up...but its also working for his counters. Roger has started to use more leg kicks.

The round ends with both men standing and pawing at each other again.

    Round 3:
Roger is quick to come out with his combos again. He even out moves Gray and manages to catch him enough that Gray tries for a takedown that is stuffed. Gray tries another shortly after and scores with it. Gray is on top attempting to keep control of Roger but Roger is very quick and hard to keep in position. Gray has managed to keep control of position but nothing good has been landed.

2 minutes left and Gray is still on top and landing a few strikes while trying to keep control of Gray.
Gray maynerd locks in a Kamura WITH a shoulder lock and has his arm so far pulled back that you can see Rogers shoulder blade sticking almost straight out his back BUT Roger wont tap and is able to maneuver is way out of it!

Roger tries to get back up but Gray is able to get him back to the ground. Roger is able to get back up with 20 seconds left. Both men stay clinched up and for the last 10 seconds they both connect with punches and knees.

Another three rounder but not nearly as exciting a fight as the other two.

Results: 29-28 Roger. 30-27 Gray and 30-27 for the winner by split decision Gray Maynard! Undefeated in his career so far and in the UFC (beside when he knocked himself out for the NC)

Replay is show and Kenflos description of the kamura attempt is "roger could almost comb his own hair in this position"

Main event: Melvin Guillard vs. Nate Diaz

    Round 1:
Nate speaks in the video package about finally having someone who would actually fight him. Melvin just talks about knocking him out.

Right off Melvin drops Nate but cant find a way inside so it goes back to the feet. Nate scores a takedown but Melvin scoots to the cage and and gets up enough to throw Nate. Nate is under Melvin..but thats not a good place for Melvin to be at all considering Nate is a ground specialist.
Back up but then Nate takes him back down, Melvin scoots to the fence again but Nate is pulling him away and trying to better his position.

back to the feet. Nates face is bloody. They clinch up against the cage after Nate chased Melvin around a bit. Melvin lands another hard right but Nate takes it and does his taunting he is known for.

Nate does alot of chasing while Melvin slips alot. Melvin probably landing the better strikes at the time. Nate starting slow like he is known to do.
Melvin gets his arms around Nate but then Nate pulls out a Kamura style Judo throw! Melvin manages to get back up to his feet fast as Nate is on his back. The round ends.

    Round 2:
Back into the action they go. Melvin landing a good body kick. They clinch up against the fence and Melving scores with a throw (i think) but has to get up as Nate immediatly tries to lock in a leg lock.

Nate hits a left hook on Melvin, who then plays dummy and does a little rope-a-dope that was playful BUT Melvin launched forward with a punch and Nate slipped it and locked in a tight guillatine and as the Nate Diaz we know and love started nodding his head and taunting.

Melvin Guillard taps out to a sick Guillatine choke in the second round.

    Winner: Nate Diaz
