IFL on My9 :)

I son't know if it is just thre NY area...but on my9 (formerly upn) the IFL is now shown every week on monday from 8-10 pm.

In case you have never heard of IFL...it is MMA...with teams. They hold a series of matches between the teams fighters...and whichever team's fighters wins the most against the other team in that event...wins.

Yes they have that on here in the Chicago area as well. I have never watched it, but what would you say of the caliber of fighters? Is this like AFL (Arena) to the NFL?

i believe in my area its on FSN (FoxSports) on fridays or some shit, i cant recall

some of the names are notable, mostly in the coaches but also seem to be old hacks, such as both the shamrocks.

some good fighters...maybe not HUGE names like in the UFC...but they are mostly up and comers and solid fighters. The coaches are legendary-Bas Rutten (my fav. fighter ever),Renzo Gracie,pat militech,Ken Shamrock,Don Frye,Frank Shamrock (who is still a beast...and still a douche), Marco Ruas (sick)...just off the top of my head.

yea,it is a sweet idea...and I am going to the one in NJ in august...can't wait.
