I voted for Randy Orton because he is the current intercontinental champ, and IC champs usually get a title shot soon after their IC reign. However, I think Batista could also be a frontrunner in the race for the title, as he proved his strength and his skill during the Battle Royal last monday.
Edge, you have got to figure he is due a main event push and I think he can carry the company as champion

ya i agree with you that edge can carry the company as champ but the reason why i put edge as up and comin is coz they really never had a strong storyline with the wwe/world champ and edge has bein gone for a year and imo has lost some of his main-event star power! but imo he should be champ right now if he didnčt get injury!

My royal vote went to Christian. You can bet I'll explain why.
At this stage I feel that Orton is no longer the up and comer. His feud with Foley really put him in position to be considered one of them main reasons to tune into Raw. He is at the cusp of main eventing a PPV so he is no longer coming but is up.
Now we all know that Christian has been in the WWE for a long time and has always been a major part of the product. But as of late Christian has been bringing his performance up 10 fold. Christian has always been drigting in that mid-card position never getting to the upper tiers. But now Christian is on his way up. So that is why my vote went to the Peeps Champion.

I agree with both 1-2 I.D & King....both Edge and Christian are due for a title push.

If they are going to give Edge a title run they better give him a better move then the spear.

I voted Orton.Until he gets a main event push, he' still an up and comer. And judging from Edge's performance since his comeback, he is nothing but a sloppy midcarder with a crap finishing move.
Christian and Batista are also contenders.

Eugene I finally seen him and the man can put on a show, if they work with his character rught he should be a main eventer in the near future, as well as Cena, Orton, and anyone else on that list.

I would also have to go with Orton. He reminds me so much of the young Rock. I know for sure that he will be main eventing in no time. He has Champion written all over him. He also restored the meaning back into the IC Championship Belt.

Orton. Like it's been said before, Orton reminds many people of a young Rock (well, minus the phenomenal mic skills, but if you remember the Rock wasn't great on the mic when he was younger-in fact Randy's better than the Rock was when he was young.)
And as much as I hate to do it, I have to disagree with King. Christian COULD be a world champ in a few years, after they change his character a little. Edge, no way, uh uh. It's no secret that I don't like Edge, so I won't go into it again.

I just see alot of thing happening with Christian in the next year. If they handle his post Jericho feuds properly and give him a mean streak then he will be a great asset to the WWE.
Edge is a 2 dimensional guy. He gets a match started then gets beaten down, does ihs three move comeback followed by a nearfall against him and then he wins with the Spear. If Edge is to be the next big thing then he has to do ALOT of ring work. I used to be a huge Edge fan but he has just not come on as I owuld have liked him to have done.
Out of the others I woudl say Garrison Cade, Shelton Benjamin and Eugene will have huge parts to play in the comapny. Cade is a natural face and the WWE should just stick with that. Give him that Beniot intensity feel and it would be easy to get him over, let his skills do the talking. Benjamin's skills speak for themselves. No only that but he is solid on the mic and can play heel or face.
Eugene is a shock pure and simple. Dinsmore and all us internet fans thought his career was dead and buried. But the Eugene character has just been phenominal. He makes people feel good about themselves and Dinsmores ring skills are up there with Beniot. There are loads of possibilities with this character. There is the hoax angle if needed.

I voted Shelton Benjamen becuase he is entertaining in the ring as well as on the mic. He also seems to have knowledge and respect for the business so that won't hurt his chances.
I will disagree with Edge, becuase as pointed out earlier in this thread his matches are usually predictable. And he seems to be missing something since his comeback last month.
