Thanks to William Ramirez for the following:

The event was sold out by 10 a.m. Tuesday morning, and
it was definitely rocking by the time the Velocity
taping began.

Velocity went over well, as it started of with
Theodore Long bringing out Mark Jindrak to beat up on
Paul London. Jamie Noble beat Shannon Moore and then,
getting a huge pop, Hardcore Holly and Billy Gunn, who
beat the Basham Brothers.

Smackdown! began with Eddie Guerrero coming out to the
ring to a HUGE pop - I mean large - as the crowd went
nuts for awhile for him. He was talking a lot of smack
and pulled out Bradshaw's bloody hat from Judgment Day
and wiped his ass with it. He then challenged Bradshaw
to a rematch given how their match ended at the PPV.
Bradshaw pulled in with a white stretch limo and they
jawed back and forth for a bit. But before Bradshaw
could say yes, Kurt Angle came out and todl the two of
them he was the boss and he made the matches on the
show and that Guerrero, Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio
would take on Bradshaw and the Dudley Boys tonight in
the Main Event.

Rico and Charlie Haas were over pretty well, as Rico's
wife with three other knockout blondes were stationed
right behind Tazz and Cole for the entire event
(you'll see them) and led the charge of cheers. Of
course, Charlie continues to seem unmoved by the
runway walk of Rico and Jackie during each entrance
and walks around to get to the ring for their match
with the FBI. The champs won this match with no
problem - and the crowd loved it.

The next match was announced between Billy Kidman and
Akio, and as they approached each other to mix it up,
Mordecai came to the ring and took them both out.
Mixed reaction from the crowd for this segment,
although there were a few signs for Mordecai.

In the back, Chavo Jr. told his Classic he did not
need him in that ring for the Triple Threat match with
Spike Dudley and that he could beat Spike on his own.
In the ring though, with Chavo down, Classic covered
him for the win and title change.

Booker T was in the back doing a promo with Funaki and
stated he wanted a rematch with The Undertaker. But
because Taker wasn't in the house tonight, he had only
one opponent on his mind - and that opponent was
Funaki. Smackdown's #1 announcer then said: "Tell me
you did not just say that!" (HUGE POPS), and when
Booker T went to take a shot - Funaki nailed him with
the Mic and headed to the ring. The two battled for a
small time, but Booker T eventually beat Funaki in the
match.

Rene Dupree came out with Fifi, while Cena came out
donning an old school UNLV jersey which ignnited the
crowd beyond noise meter levels. The two went back and
forth, although the crowd was relatively quiet for
this match from start to finish. Cena took a kick to
the groin outside the ring in front of Tazz and Cole,
and once Dupree made it back in the ring, Cena was
counted out and the match was ended to plenty of boos.
(wondering if both are sore from PPV)

Just before the main event, a segment in the back saw
EMTs tending to Eddie Guerrero in the back, who had
ben attacked by Bradshaw.

Bradshaw came back out in his White Limo, while the
Dudley Boys came out to faithful pops and sparse boos
throughout the arena. With a question mark on Eddie
Guerrero's status for the event, RVD and Rey Mysterio
did come out to large pops for the event. The entire
Thomas and Mack Center was chanting EDD-IE, EDD-IE for
a couple of minutes, but still a no-show - selling the
attack well.

RVD and Rey got huge pops for their classic moves, and
there were plenty of hard hits back and forth in this
match from all competitors.

And with the crowd relatively quiet at this point
waiting for something to happen, Eddie's music
brokeout and the crowd went ballistic!!!!

Eddie finally got the tag and tried to make the save
for the team, as the crowd was into it big time.

Throughout the show, there was a "selling" of the
amount of blood Eddie lost at the PPV and if he was
prepared for to fight the next night, thus, of course,
he passed out at the end of the show with Bradshaw
covering and the ref calling for EMTs. The segment
actually looked pretty good, as several around us were
asking if it was for real when Tazz jumped in the ring
to check on him and help EMTs strap him to the gurney.

Thee best pop was saved for last though, as Bradshaw
got abck in the ring to brag about taking Eddie out
and that he deserves to be the champ and that when he
wins the title he will make sure WWE never comes back
to Vegas - blah, blah, blah!!!

All of a sudden, as big a pop The Rock received Monday
for Raw - the Undertaker's music hit and the crowd in
one motion was on its feet with electricity. Bradshaw
was acting scared in the ring during the Deadman's
walk to the ring. He kept saying he wasn't scared as
he made his way out of the ring, but when he made his
way back into it to attack Taker, THe American Badass
took him out with a flurry of shots that ended with
the Tombstone Piledriver.

OVERALL, the crowd made the show in my opinion, as the
electricity was sparked by those in attendance. I've
been to the last seven WWE events in Vegas (2 RAW, 1
PPV, 1 Smackdown and 3 House Shows) and I can honestly
say that as far as the matches are concerned, the last
House Show (which was RAW Superstars) was much better.
I think many of us were expecting more from John Cena,
however, the show ended up being saved with Taker's
appearance.

BIGGEST POPS:

1. Eddie 2nd appearance
2. Undertaker
3. Eddie 1st appearance
4. John Cena
5. RVD and Rey Mysterio

BIGGEST HEAT:

1. JBL
2. Renee Dupree
3. Booker T.
4. Chavo
5. Kurt Angle

These spoilers are detailed a lot better than the ones I read earlier today. Still, Smackdown looks like a bad show this week, with no Taker or anything. I could be wrong though. I will probably watch it and see how good it comes out on TV.

taker was on, didnt you read the last part?
well it looks like its gonna be JBL vs Eddie again and probably cena vs rene again. well im hoping cena drops the belt at the next ppv and gets into the title picure. i dont think they can save a cena/eddie fued for much longer. they need some decent matches cause smackdown is in trouble. sure the talent is young and it needs time but i dont think they have enough time.

It might just be me presuming but having read other spoilers of previous weeks, that is what they have been doing off camera. And this kind of confirms it:

But
because Taker wasn't in the house tonight,

It doesn't say it sorry properly but since the official results are up (WWE.com):

Paramedics tended to the fallen WWE Champion, as SmackDown! drew to an emotional close

They are doing it because they want to make the Undertaker a special attraction, probably saving for PPVs IMO. Also not having him on Smackdown every week means that the feuds he has will build slower and delay him longer until he gets into the title hunt.
