Poster Of The Month!

That's right, WP will be having naming a Poster of the Month for each month! The POTM will be named on the last day of the month starting this month! The POTM will be given a few certain "priveledges", such as a custom "Poster of the Month" user title, a POTM av, and a POTM sig! (and maybe a few other little goodies as I think of them:)

Mods, Super Mods, and Admins will be inneligible for POTM consideration. There is no specific criteria that will be used to select the POTM...it will pretty much be based on all around excellence!

One person can be the POTM more than once, but they can't be the POTM for two months in a row, so it will be someone new each month!

This should be a fun way to encourage posting here at WP!

How about for every month maybe have like a different theme for the poster like...
Most lively poster of the month
Funniest poster of the month
Most annoying poster of the month
Most inteligent poster of the month

Maybe each month have it different.

Example...the theme for Junes potm would be...'Most lively poster'
It's just an idea of mine, but I think you should take it into consideration :D

Is there going to be a new POTM for THIS month? Is there one for August yet? I know Y2J is now the POTM, but that was announced as July's, so when is the new Poster of the Month being revealed :D?

Edit Note: I just checked the date on the last POTM announcement and it was the 3rd of this month so I asume the next announcement will be made by the 3rd of next month.. should have done a bit more research, :chuckles:

Hopefully the POTM thing is getting people involved and talkative.. It would be GREAT for this site to be successful and popular.
