View Full Version : Dust vs the Main Man: Street Fight for the uCw Title

Peoples King
05-17-2004, 09:13 PM
The scene opens in a dark room. The fait sounds of a TV can be heard in the background. The screen sending beams of light across the room. The sound of a crowd and if play by play is heard distinctly. The camera pans around slowly before it is looking over a single chair at the TV screen. An unknown man is seated in the chair, the camera fixed on the back of his head. We zoom in on the screen which is showing footage of the last Revolution. We see Dust hitting the Main Man with the To Dust only to pull his shoulders off the mat at the last second, breaking the three count. The shouts of disgust by McGrath can be heard. An image of Dust locking the Texas Cloverleaf on the Main Man lights up the screen. A close up of Dusts face shows all the intensity, all the passion and hatred he pocesses. The Main Man taps out but Dust isnt letting go. The match is over but the Peoples King keeps the hold on. Tearing every fiber of the Main Mans spine, making a tardget for his match at Hardcore Innovation. Another close up of Dusts face and the man watching the screen pauses the tape. He looks closely at the screen, studying the features of Dusts face. The camera pans around slowly to reveal the viewer is Dust. The slightest of smiles can be seen on his face as he looks at himself. Dust sits back in his chair, resting his chin on his left hand. The blue glow of the TV giving his face a pale glow.

Dust:
As far as my career has come, I have realised that right now it is at a crossroads. Hardcore Innovation will be the defining moments of my career. It will mean I either go left or I go right. My career is at a crossroads and it is up to me to make it mean something. Look at my career so far in uCw. Its nothing to be ashamed of. Infact many a wrestler would die to have fought the battles I have fought even those I lost. But Im no ordinary wrestler. The fact that I have retired Biohazard and killed the career of D-Dogg is testiment enough to that. As far as uCw goes I have done everything. Ended careers, been in countless Revolution main events. Took part in a Triple Threat match which many smarks are already refering to as one of the greatest matches of all time. I was one of the select few that got a chance to be uCw Champion. I could have been the first but for one incident that cost me my place in history. So now I stand at a crossroads. That crossroads is Hardcore Innovation and the uCw title. All that stands in my way is the Main Man in a Street Fight. You see this may well be the last match of my career. If I lose... well if I lose is there much chance in me continueing in this great sport? I would forever be the bridesmaid. The man that couldnt take that final step, that final leap to greatness. The uCw title so close but yet so far, unreachable. But if I win......... If I win the wrestling world will never be the same again. So now the most defining moment of my career is upon me. The thing is is it an if or is it a when.

He raises the remote and switches off the TV. The room is cast into total darkness. The camera cant pick up anything. All around is just one big black hole. In the darkness we here Dusts voice.

Dust:
You know when I was a kid, I always wanted to be the top babyface in the WWF. I wanted to be the Shawn Michaels, the Hulk Hogan, the Bret Hart. I wanted millions of fans who would cheer for me no matter what I said or what I did. They loved me for just being me. I wanted to stand in Madison Square Garden and just listen to the cheers that were sent toward me. In a way you could say as a boy I wanted to be the Main Man. I'll admit that the childhood dream was to be just like him. But the thing is we know childhood dreams and the dreams of all children are just hollow. They dont have the intellect to really comprehend the real world. They just see the world through rose tinted glasses. They want everyone to be their friend, everyone to love them. But as I got older, as I matured and as I began to really dream about being the greatest in the industry, I realised that my childhood ideal was just a load of bull****. That it was a hollow ill concieved lie. Behind the camera's the lights and the womens lay miserable men. The Harts, Michaels and Hogans were all human trash who used the fans admiration for political gain backstage, They were miserable turds who kept the real talent back. It was because of them that the Pipers, the Janetty's and the Owen Harts never reached the peasks they were capable of reaching. I learnt that this is a dog eat dog business and that the fans didnt matter. You see what the uCw fans dont realise is that the Main Man is just like those "greats." He doesnt care about you, all he cares about is your money. But the people are too dumb to realise that. They still cheer and still pray that he can retain the uCw Title. He doesnt want that title so that he can be in history, he wants it for the money. The uCw title pocesses me. I love nothing more in the world. It is the be all and end all for me. Now you must think to yourseles...... Who do you want as your true uCw Champion?

Suddenly the lights flicker on and the room is filled with the harsh glare of the light. Dust stares, unblinking at the camera. He breaths slowly and looks as intense as he did at Revolution.

Dust:
At Hardcore Innovation all my aspirations can come true. I can finally wear the uCw title around my waist. I can walk to the ring not only as the Greatest or the Career Ender or the Peoples King....... but also as the uCw WorldHeavyweight Champion. Everything I hoped for, everything that Stu Hart tried to hold me back from would come true. I would show him and everyone else up. The crowd would fall silent as I stand over the Main Man victor. But something is against me. In all the times that I have faced the Main Man in the ring, one on one........ I have never beaten him. Infact you could say he is my jinx. At Hardcore Innovation I end that run. Your uCw Champion is already in bad shape. At Revolution I destroyed his back. Already I have a target for the Pay Per View. Already I can put at least part of a game plan into affect. Should I say this to the world? Why not? Im not worried. The Main Man will be expecting it anyway. In that expectation is fear. He fears being trapped, one more time in the Texas Cloverleaf. He fears me standing over him leaning back and smiling as he shouts for mercy and slaps the mat likew the pathetic nothing he is. I have one goal and that is to be the champion. If I happen to end yet another career along the way........ then so be it. I have no qualms, no worries. I will be the uCw Champion. So I guess now you learn that its not an if but a certainity. I will hold the title aloft. uCw and the viewing world........ I Am Your King!

One more time the lights go out. The room is in total darkness and Dust can be heard laughing. The segment comes to a close.

Jeff Lemas is shown backstage at the Friday night taping of Saturday Morning Mayhem. It was his assignment to get an interview with a uCw superstar for the show, but so far he has come up empty. Of course there's Buck Williams, but he's a psycho. As is Ava Bundy. Mykal Adams, Tumbling T, and Gary Francis haven't been seen today. The True Kings are occupied with some female "companions", so it wouldn't be wise to bother them right now. Like he'd want to bother them when they aren't busy, even though he'd like to interview their newest member, Ivan Drago. Jeff hangs his head in frustration. Michelle Matthews always seems to get interviews and Charles Burton has told him to step it up. Just then almost as an answer to his thoughts, the Main Man enters the backstage area, walking slowly, in pain. Jeff's face brightens up and he walks up to him.

Jeff:
Main Man, could I get a moment of your time?

TMM:
What do you want, John?

Jeff:
It's Jeff.

TMM:
That's what the Main Man said. What do you want? An autograph? A signed picture? The Main Man will sign pictures but he ain't signing anything else! That's reserved for chicks only.

Jeff:
I just wanted to get an interview with you concerning what happened at last week's Revolution and what's going to happen at Hardcore Innovation.

TMM:
Do you really want to know?

Jeff:
Absolutely, I asked didn't I?

The Main Man's eyes narrow and he walks right past Jeff. Jeff sighs. He should've known better to make that crack. Suddenly the Main Man stops and looks halfway over his shoulder.

TMM:
Are you coming or not?

Jeff:
Coming where?

TMM:
To the ring! Do you think that the Main Man's content to sit here backstage with you when there's thousands of people out there? Hurry up, John!

Jeff follows the Main Man to the Gorilla position and then to the curtains. "Rockstar" by N.E.R.D hits and the Main Man followed by John make their way down to the ring. The Main Man gets into the ring with difficulty and with gritted teeth, raises his title belt above his head for the cameras. He jumps down and gets a mic. Jeff has already got one. As usual the crowd is making so much noise that the Main Man has to wait until they have quieted down to speak. When the do, he squares his shoulders and speaks.

TMM:
You may be wondering why the Main Man has brought this nancy-boy to the ring with him. In case you didn't know this crossdresser is Jim LeMass...

Jeff:
It's Jeff.

TMM:
Like the Main Man said this crossdresser is Jeff LeMass, one of the "little people" backstage and he wanted to tape an interview with the Main Man. But what he didn't realize is that the Main Man needs to be seen live to get the full effect. That and the Main Man didn't want those editors to cut the Main Man's promo in half. So ask your questions pansy.

Jeff:
I wanted to know what your thoughts were regarding your teammates at last weeks Revolution when they left you in the ring.

TMM:
What's to say? Obviously, Ray Williams and Gary Francis were upset at what the Main Man said about them. But instead of dealing with it and accepting it, they acted like a couple of bitches and fled the ring, leaving the Main Man to be triple teamed by the True Queens. But believe the Main Man when he says that they have theirs coming. After the Main Man has dealt with Dust at Hardcore Innovation, he will turn his attention to those two and they will feel the full wrath of the uCw Champion's anger.

Jeff:
Even Gary Francis after helping you?

TMM:
What the hell are you talking about, Sweetness?

Jeff:
You don't know?

TMM:
The only thing that the Main Man remembers is passing out and waking up in the hospital.

Jeff:
Well, Gary Francis was the one to chase the True Kings out of the ring. In fact, it's safe to say that he saved you from paralysis. Don't you owe him an apology or something?

The Main Man simply stares at Jeff. This is the first time that Jeff has seen the Main Man absolutely speechless. The Main Man seems to remember that he's live and speaks.

TMM:
The Main Man apologizes to no one.

Jeff:
Ooookay. What about Dust's comments. Any thought on that?

TMM:
The Main Man saw what Dust had to say and the Main Man says that he already knew all of that. Dust said that when he was a little girl, he wanted to be just like the Main Man. Of course he did. Everyone wants to be like the Main Man. The Main Man's problem was the company that Dust put the Main Man with. Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart...the Main Man is bigger than ALL of them!

Jeff:
WHAT???

TMM:
Clean out your ears, nancyboy. The Main Man is bigger than all of them! He's accomplished in a few short years what took them decades to achieve. He's a living legend, as big as they come. And the fact that he holds the uCw World Championship proves it! So, the Main Man already knew that Dust was jealous of the Main Man. Who wouldn't be.

Jeff:
What about what Dust said about you not caring about the World Title and what about your back?

TMM:
If you think that a sore back is going to keep the Main Man for hand delivering Dust the greatest ass-whooping he's ever experienced than you don't know the Main Man at all. Dust can target it all he wants, it won't make a difference.

***continued at a friends house***

Jeff:
So your back won't be an issue at all?

TMM:
Did the Main Man stutter? He already said that it wouldn't make a difference! The Main Man could get into a car accident and still take it to Dust in a way he hasn't seen before. What was the rest of your question? You're starting to bore the Main Man.

Jeff:
What about what Dust said about you and the uCw Title?

TMM:
Normally, the Main Man doesn't give 2 pieces of crap about anything Dust says. But that one thing got to the Main Man. Does the Main Man care about money? Hell yes! Do you think that the Main Man would wear an $3000 worth of clothing everyday if he didn't? Of course he cares about money. Is that the only thing that the Main Man cares about? Not at all. The one thing that the Main Man cares about is being remembered as the biggest superstar that the wrestling industry has ever seen or will ever see. That's the one thing that Dust doesn't get because he can see 5 minutes past his own face. His sights are set on Hardcore Innovation and taking the uCw World Championship away from its rightful owner, as well it should be. Because at Hardcore Innovation Dust won't be facing just any old pansy, he'll be facing the Main Man-the Warden of Whupass, the Baron of Beatdown, uCw's Greatest himself.

The crowd cheers and chants of "Main Man" break out. Jeff looks around impressed at the crowd support that the Main Man has, even though he may be the most ego-centric person they've ever met.

Jeff:
Now, does that mean that you don't care about anything or anyone else?

TMM:
You mean, does the Main Man care about you? No.

Jeff:
No, I meant is there anyone in the Main Man's life that he does care about? A girlfriend perhaps?

TMM:
What is this Entertainment Tonight? The Main Man is too much man for the average woman to handle. Do you have any other stupid questions to ask the Main Man?

Jeff:
Just one. What do you think of the True Kings newest member, Ivan Drago? At Revolution you hit him with everything you had and you barely turned his head!

TMM:
The Main Man didn't hit him with everything he had. If he had, Drago's head would've flown off and hit some kid sitting in the 12th row. He's just another big man with big aspirations of being like the Main Man just like the rest of the True Queens. But the Main Man swears that that pansy looks just like the big Russian from Rocky IV. Is that all?

Jeff:
Yes.

TMM:
Good. Now get lost nancyboy.

The Main Man climbs the turnbuckle as his music hits. He raises his title slowly as Jeff exits the ring with a smile on his face. At least he got an interview. Lets see Michelle Matthews top that one.

***end***
