how long can the man stay at the top? SO far he has remained unbeaten, but can this run continue indefintely?

Yes, someone will beat him. he is good but hes not unbeatable nobody is, i got my money on someone like Murph, One or to a lesser extent Adams. prob at the Wrestlemainia type ppv or one of the other big ones.
And if i may ask, how do we go about getting one of those cool Avatars made up with our rep and name on them?

I'd say he could carry it on for a good 3/4 months, but I'd say it is more about who can get the no 1 contendership, that is the key to dethroning JMC

it's awfully hard for him to lose the belt when he hasnt defended it for almost 2 months :)

Will he lose it? Yes. Nothing can last forever, but the question is... When? I know JMC himself has stated many times his goal is to have a year long title reign, which would mean he wants to hold the title until this August. Can it happen? He's half way there. Will it happen? That remains to be seen.
It's all about timing, and inspiration. While the VBookie bets see most people betting their money on JMC, Dream could easily pull an upset and take that title away from him next week. Unpredictable things happen all the time, who here thought Jesse would main event Whiplash? I sure as hell didn't, and it changed the foundations of the PPV as a result of it. Anything can happen, but that also includes JMC doing the impossible, holding an e-fed title for it's entire first year.
A little insider info here, but when WPW first opened up JMC was set to go into a feud with The Shadow. When JMC blew his way through the tournament for the title, that plan was scrapped and JMC went on to win the title, something that most people never knew he was capable as when he was simply a manager of the Bennetts. Fast forward a couple months and today he's not the underdog anymore, now he's the man to beat, and with good reason.
There are a horde of guys that could take down JMC at any time though. Dream gets his shot this sunday, but should he feel there are more possible contenders than I think most people realize. Dust is an obvious one, Brock Goodman could rise up again, there's a former champion in Jokester and a hungry lion in Dan Murph, there's The One who everyone wants to see face JMC, a much overlooked Scorch, Mike Adams who is determined to stay in the main event, and a few others as well. Some guys in the midcard like Jamie Parker could step up at anytime and be a contender and win, so could Gerard Carson or Mykal Adams. A guy you might not expect could step up his game and get a shot like Jesse did, you have midcarders emerging who are improving every day like Gunnar Brian, Andrew Xavier, Johnny Bad Blood, Kaze, MVP, the list goes on and on.
The next champ could be anyone, but I have a gut feeling someone will halt JMC before the year mark comes up. I have all confidence in the champ, but he's tasted his sucess that many others are still very hungry for, and while the champ isn't prone to cockiness, motivation is a very driving factor, and if you put two guys together with almost identical skill levels what's a stronger motivation? Holding onto a title for a year, or winning your (possible) only chance at the title. My vote goes to option #2, but I could be wrong.
There next PPV after Ruined Fate is called Everything Ends. Fitting name no? Could be there.
hmm, i could ahve sworn i deleted this thread as i didnt add the betting. How very odd indeed

Brock Goodman could rise up again
Mike Adams who is determined to stay in the main event
two very important statements folks ;)
realistically, JMC cant hold the title forever. Can he make it a full year? I cant see why not. He's gone through the best that WPW had to offer and emerged with his reign intact. Much as i like the Dream character, i cant see Nic taking the title just yet. A lot depends on who battles there way to number one contender after that. At the moment, there are no plans announced for the number one contender after Dream, but you gotta believe they'll be formidable opposition.
Like Judge said, it's all about timing. I think we have guys that can beat Promy, but they need to commit themsleves to earning that shot. Hell, it could even happen in a TNT match. There are so many people that can give JMC a run for his money its scary, but its all about the right guy at the right time. From what i'm guessing is going to happen after Ruined Fate by reading the shows, i think JMC will hold onto it until beyond the next PPV, taking him til the end of March, but again that depends on the number one contender as it isnt yet clear who that will be. Like i already stated, the number one contender might not even face JMC as he could lose in a match on TNT given the right circumstances.
Jeez, give us a chance! My confidence is soaring now the main event writer's just told me he can't see it...
I'm gonna console myself with a flurry of possible run-ins: Jokester (he's done it once, he could do it again), and of course let's not forget there's the oversized matter of a certain MAMMOTH and KRAKATOA!! Who have still yet to be picked up following the demise of PCW (and let's face it, everybody blames them for the entire debacle anyway!)
i said i cant see it happening. If it does happen i have absolutely no problem writing it. In fact, i would get a certain sick pleasure from writing the match that JMC loses the title in. Obviously i'd rather be IN the match, but we cant have everything.
Perhaps i should just be quiet now.
Perhaps that goes for the both of us... besides, as if MAMMOTH and KRAKATOA would be any fucking use in a fight!! They'd probably kill Dream by accident.

My gosh Dsut, i love your style. offend the Contender for the title then backflip and offend the champ with your 'sick pleasure'. I get enough of that from Dan!
As far as i go, i do plan to take it for a year, as of now that is my aim. will i stop after the year is up if I get there? doubtful. But i am the fi8rst to admit i was pleased to last three months, especuially after shaking off Dust at FF as my first feud that i felt I was really thrown to the lions (I still loves ya APG). At the moment, who do i think could ebat me? Well history dictated JMC can'tg et a win over Jokester or Gerard Carson!

Well you better hope a certain superstar loses at Ruined Fate then.

Hey, I never said I feared him any more! Especially if he's not even aroudn to eliminate the rotting institution that is The Dream Team!

oh please, that's a sad booking for JMC. Ususally us over at The Hosue of Cassius are experiencing eighties in the way of reads and views! Replies, however, have been down due to the fact my opponents alwasy tend to feel this odd and overwhelming sense of despair once seeing what I have written.

JMC, nahh, nobody can hold a title forever. Even Umaga lost. JMC will too. I donno to whom, most probably The Dream or Gerard Carson, I think. Gerry beat JMC after JMC's undefeated GOL reign too.:poke:

JMC knows who the real champ is - Jokester (while trading as Killing Joke) tanned his hide in the Tournament of Champions on PCW while he was carrying the WPW strap, then suffered a narrow loss to best chum, the Dream in the ToC final, so, by rights, Dream should be fighting himself for the title at the PPV. I'd pay money to watch that.

technically it was brock goodman who put jmc down for jokester to get the win ;)

That's possibly the best piece of booking I've ever heard.

Despair's the word. Mostly we fall asleep before the final paragraph then wake up with the ring bell. :wink1:

and that brings us all to tears mike...just the thought of another mike controlled fool scartching his way to the main event for us to read over and over makes us all weap painfully...surely its not just me.
anyways i think there are a few people who could take the title away, i would love to say i could be one of them...but im not sure i could, nor would want to even contend for the world title any time soon, im fine just floating around with my tag titles for now, and more floating after is as well taken
i hope you kids know mike adams has a rematch clause somewhere in his contract
Would that be somewhere in the paragraph entitled "In your dreams"?

So Mike Adams has a clause in his contract to get a rematch for a belt he never won or fought for? I think you need to have a match before you can have a rematch.
You'd be surprised at the intricacies, believe me... they don't make no sense but you can't argue with a cast iron contract. I tried. All it got me was one screwjob after another!

Well I have a Number One Contenders match this Tuesday so once I wipe the mat with Daniel Murphy and hook Jokester up with Margret Thatcher, I'd give JMC about another two weeks as champion. ;)

Seeing how Dust/Dan/Jokester are all possible next in line contenders... I say JMC keeps his title for a while, I feel that I'll be the first to take it away from him... but only time will tell.

I REALLY don't like the way you put that....Anyway, I'm thinking...March 20th...:)

Last time I checked, I never threw my name forward and never intended to, see Dan I know my limits..which is something you have yet to learn ;)
i'd like to see a Gunnar Dan match. In fact i'd like to see a Murph Parker match. Maybe i'll buy one of those card thingys where i can pick an opponent.
Chalk up another loss for Jamie Parker...
