As promised, I am back with a BRAND SPANKIN NEW COLUMN!! You will notice that some of the features (such as the pink font colour) are still the same, but I tried to totally redesign the column as I promised.

In today's column, which will take the place of A Shot in the Dark, I will be reviewing SmackDown!'s Judgement Day PPV.

RVD & Mysterio vs The Dudleyz - Here's my problem with this match. The Dudley was able to take on RVD and Eddie himself but, as a tag team, they couldn't beat a make-shift tag team that was randomly thrown together *cough*Holly&Gunn*cough*. By losing to Rey & RVD, it destroyed all the momentum that the Dudleyz had going for them. At most, I would've thought that RVD & Rey should've gotten a DQ victory. If that had happened, then The Dudleyz would've kept their momentum and RVD & Rey wouldn't have lost credibility as a tag team.

Torrie Wilson vs Dawn Marie - The match itself was a typical women's match, but the added fact that Torrie could've been fired was an interesting touch. You knew it wasn't going to happen but, at the same time, you had a feeling it might. Good to see Dawn back on TV.

Scotty 2 Hotty vs Mordecai - So...Scotty hasn't been seen in since he and Rikishi lost the tag titles, and all of a sudden he's got a PPV match against Mordecai? What the hell?! Although Mordecai's prescence seemed ominous, I thought he would deliver more. I do think it's cool, however, that he's using the Razor's Edge as it somewhat goes with his religious character.

WWE Tag Team Titles
Rico & Charlie Haas vs Billy Gunn & Hardcore Holly - In case you missed my subtle potshot early, I'm really not a fan of these makeshift teams that are randomly thrown together. I'm even iffy on the pairing of Haas & Rico, but I'm willing to let that slide because I think the storyline has potential. I think it would be great if Haas started acting like Rico. I, along with lots of other people, would certainly mark out for that!

WWE Cruiserweight Title
Jacqueline vs Chavo Guerrero - THANK GOD!!! I swear, if Jackie had kept the title, I would've stopped watching SmackDown!. I like the fact that Chavo "cheated to win". It's kind of symbolic that Eddie's moto runs through the family. I just hope that this feud doesn't continue.

US Title
John Cena vs Rene Dupree - As much as I like Cena, I was kinda hoping for Dupree to win. I think it would be interesting to see a French man with the US title. I hope they continue this feud, as these guys are great athletes.

Booker T vs Undertaker - NO NO NO NO NO!!! Why must they kill Book already?! Not only did they force-feed him to Undertaker, but all that voodoo stuff went to waste! What was the hand coming out of the grave all about?! We won't know now! God dammit the WWE screwed up with this one. Now we won't see Taker for months, so we'll never know what the hell is going to happen with Book!

WWE Title
Eddie Guerrero vs John Bradshaw Layfeild - Oh god, please don't tell me that their feud is going to continue! I hope JBL gets the Holly push. As much as I REALLY don't like the fact that he's being used as a main eventer, I'll give the devil his due. Bradshaw proved us wrong. He proved he could work a main event match. That being said, he shouldn't be too proud of himself given the poor quality of the rest of the matches on the card.

That's it for now. Tune in on Tuesday for my Raw Review.

Well, the PPV sucked and then it sucked some more.
My friends and I split the 35 or plus $ for this PPV, which was most exciting match I was looking for was John Cena vs. Rene Dupree, but that turned out to be a dud!

John Cena vs. Rene Dupree- Cena is defintely getting stale and he has killed any momentum that he or Dupree had going into this match. Dupree shouldn't be cheering for himself either, while I love Dupree, he showed me nothing as to why the fans should care about him.

Rating: *1/2

Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie- Gee, I wonder why this match was on the PPV? I'm stumped on this one, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt since it was Dawn Marie, who wasn't as bad as Mordecai or Scotty 2 Hotty were!

Rating: *

RVD and Mysterio vs. Dudleyz-You know if Rey would actually be able to show off more of his moves, then maybe I could really get behind him. I wasn't behind him or RVD, but I wasn't behind the Dudleyz, whose heel turn leaves less to be desired. I thought that it would be great if the Dudleyz started putting people through tables, but they need Paul Heyman(or shall I say, Stacy Keibler?!) to get them any type of reaction.

Rating: *1/4

Jacqueline vs. Chavo Guerrero- I cringed at this match, not because of Jackie or Chavo, but it was because of Chavo Sr. This father-son duo has become boring and it doesn't help that daddy dearest interferes. I understand that it's supposed to be this way, but it makes it seem like Chavo is this has-been wrestler who can't pull off a win because of his dad! What would have made this interesting is if Chavo Sr. cost his son the match and then proceeded to side with Jackie. This might have been the match's one redeeming quality, but it was ruined!

Rating:1/2*

Rico and Haas vs. Gunn and Holly- I like the pairing of Rico and Haas, but that can't keep me from wondering if that isn't going to end up like Billy and Chuck!! The WWE is famous for bringing back stupid storylines( i.e. Raw- Kane and Lita=Kane and Tori) and I wouldn't be surprised to see Haas and Rico turn out of that. The match was probably the best of the night, considering the rest of the thrown in card.

Rating: **

Undertaker vs. Booker T- This match sucked, that's all I can say. Undertaker shouldn't be proud to be associated with a PPV like this and it basically killed any chance of Booker becoming a good heel!

Rating: 1/4*

Mordecai vs. Scotty 2 Hotty- Okay, so we had his mystery opponent either being Paul London or Shannon Moore(which I wish it would have been!). However, we get Scotty 2 Hotty and I agree with you Josh on him not being on TV since his tag loss and he gets on a PPV. I guess some good argue that Shannon hasn't been seen on TV since he started to get the beat down from GM Paul Heyman(I miss those days!). The match was boring and standard.

Rating: *1/2

Eddie Guerrero vs. John Bradshaw Layfield- Can't they shorten Bradshaw's name or something. While JBL was indeed in the best shape of his life, it wasn't enough to make him look good. Eddie was on top of his game, but the big Texan gave him nothing back. The DQ finish and all the blood that was squirting from Eddie, took away from the match.

Rating: **1/2(and that's being generous!!)

The WWE needs to go back to the drawing board with Smackdown. They need to take a look of what they're doing with Raw(but that's not much considering they have the feud that doesn't end, Kane's obsession with Lita, why does can't Y2J forgive and forget Christian and Trish? and tidbits here and there) and try something. Give Smackdown something to work with, because the wrestlers are getting nothing in return. Why would you want to come to work only to be **** on by the creative writing team and their boss?

Rating for Judgement Day: D+ and that is being generous!!

What a disgusting pay per view. As I have said in my column, Booker T had to get the win against the Undertaker in order for him to gain credibility. That was not the case. The door for Booker was opening up, and it just slammed on his face when Taker won. And I do think that it's permanent this time.

Eddie Guerrero and John Bradshaw Layfield's championship match was another loss. The ending of this match made it clear that their feud is not over. They did not learn from their mistakes and SmackDown will sink even more in the ground.

The other matches have no real meaning, except for John Cena and Rene Duprix’s match for the US Championship. I taught this match would have taken the show in my opinion, but it didn’t. It was another horrendous flop.

I don’t know what to say about SmackDown. It was all going great one year ago. They had their shot to patch up their errors at Judgment Day, but all they did was make it worst. I think SmackDown will need a miracle to pick up. At this point they made it loud and clear that they are hitting rock bottom.

Yeah I refused to pay $35 for that show because for one the card was horrible and two the matches were not even a bit good enough for me to want to waste any of my time watching it.

Hopefully the next one is better but I doubt it...
