View Full Version : One more step towards greatness... (Brock/some guy vs. Back Burn and Burned Jedi)

Amy White is walking around backstage and sneaks once again into a locker room backstage at a WPW house show. Brock Goodman is walking out from the shower area in a towel, and he doesn't seem surprised to see Amy.

Brock: Jesus, do you wait until I go shower every single time you want an interview Amy?

Amy: Oh sorry, Brock. I have really poor timing.

Brock: Well I should say you do. Hold on.

Brock pulls on a pair of boxers briefs and jeans and drops the towel.

Brock: Okay, so I'm assuming you have some questions for me.

Amy: Well actually yes, I was wondering...I know you've addressed this before, but where is Ave?

Brock: Well, as you can imagine I was a little bit concerned since I haven't really talked to her after our undeserving loss on Live a couple weeks ago. But honestly, if she wants nothing to do with me now then the hell with her. Brock is only concerned about himself now.

Amy: Okay, then why are you in this tag team number one contender's match?

Brock: I'm assuming this was booked prior to Ave's departure and this should have been Beauty and the Beast's first step towards greatness and finally dethroning the undeserving tag team champions we have here. However, I will take up the challenge and next Tuesday on Turmoil Brock Goodman returns to the big show and I will not disappoint.

Amy: What about your tag team partner? He's a fresh new rookie...I believe this is his first match on Turmoil.

Brock: In all honesty Amy...it doesn't matter who I team with. Granted Ave and I had a certain chemistry because her soul was about as tortured as mine...but you've seen me in the ring and you've seen what I can do. I don't need help, besides at this point it looks like Shadow doesn't have a partner at this point either.

Amy: And what of your opponents...first you teamed with MVP last week, now he's going to be your opponent.

Brock: Honestly, I think Montel should really go back to the Inferno matches...as it's clear he doesn't belong in the same ring as me. I mean as it stands right now he should go back to his come and start kissing Donovan McNabb's bruises and bumps. Also doesn't he have to start preparing for that Royal Rumble thing...he should get on that.

Amy: Right...ummm well what about Kaze? Last week he showed a real mean streak and destroyed both of his much larger opponents without really a problem.

Brock: Amy, what was your favorite subject in school?

Amy: Sex ed actually...why?

Brock: Fucking sex fiend...anyways, mine was history. And let me take you back in time before this establishment became so corrupt that a moron is holding one of the world championships, to the first interaction between myself and Kaze. If you remember Kaze was going to make his triumphant return and be the big badass he thinks he is. Do you know what happened? I walked down to the ring and shut his fucking mouth. Then Kaze tried to beat up on Ave to prove what a tough guy he was, and do you know what happened then...she shut his fucking mouth with a Razorblade Kiss. Then he wanted one more crack at both of us, and....I sense you get the pattern here. We shut his fucking mouth. Kaze, why do you think this time is going to be any different? Face facts...it isn't. The path of destruction is clear and directly focused on the WPW Tag Team Championships and anyone in my path will be wiped out.

Amy: So I guess it's time for sleep, eh Brock?

Brock: No Amy...I've been sleeping for too long.

Brock throws on his t-shirt and jacket and leaves Amy standing there speechless.

Greatness.... Achieved
---------------------------

A dark room with a single light is the backdrop. Water can be heard dripping far off, and the only light sways, slightly illuminating the ground beneath it. Static plays across the screen and when it finally dies down, we see Sky Ryder, standing in the middle of the light, looking down, his hair in his face. He wears a black long sleeved shirt, with buckles playing on the sleeves, and baggy black pants. The light continues to sway, back and forth, casted contorted shadows across the ground. Ryder slowly looks up towards the camera, the bottom half of his facial features shadowed.

Sky Ryder: Two weeks, two wins. I told you all that I was the next greatest superstar here in the WPW. I told you all. But did you believe me? No. Hell no. You all sat there, watching Turmoil, not EVEN worried about Live. Not even worried about The Calculating Factor. However, I knew that most of you would be like that. So... this week, on TURMOIL, that's right, Turmoil, not Live... everyone will have a chance to see me teach "MVP" and Kaze a lesson that they shan't ever forget.

Ryder laughs for a second, his face becoming eerily illuminated as he laughs. His laughter suddenly stops as he gets a look of seriousness and agitation.

Sky Ryder: HOWEVER, I seem to have a couple of... shall we say, misunderstandings... with my tag team partner. Brock, if you are listening, like you should, listen well. Everyone in this company sees me as a rookie. Hell, i don't blame them, they've never seen true greatness in the ring before, how do they know what I look like? But, hey, it's ok, you and the rest will know soon enough. Secondly, Brock, you seem to think that I'm not a "tortured" soul as yourself. I hate to break it to you, buddy, but I have been through hell, and spit on Lucifer himself. I've had my flesh ripped out of my back by nails, I've passed out from a major laceration across my forehead, I've even killed a woman to make a point. So, DON'T EVER UNDERESTIMATE ME, in the ring, or out of it, because you will learn the truth, real fast.

[I]Ryder steps into the camera, only his shadowed eyes and mouth visible.[I]

Sky Ryder: And that's me... being... FOR.... REAL!

The scene opens with the scenery of dawn from a cliff. The sun's light is now spreading through the land and everything is coming back to life. At the edge of the cliff sits a man, seperated from the other parts of the world. He has a stick with him and is writing something on the soil. He then wipes the writing off and gets up, ready to go home. He proceeds towards his car which is not far away. He gets in the car, and the engines come to life in a matter of seconds. He then starts driving through the rough road where nobody is seen. Not the simplest form of life is seen as he drives away. Now, he is passing down to a town which still has some lights on. Some people are seen hanging around the streets. Most probably drunk people with ciggars in their mouth. Some residents of the area comes out of their homes and arguments start with them and the drunken monkeys. In a while, the drunken monkeys leave, only spitting at the feet of an old man on the way. The man in the car turns to a narrow road where he comes to a gas station. The man in charge comes around and starts filling up the car. The work is done and the driver pays up, only to start driving again. He goes on for a while until he comes to a stop across the town. A house which was not too small was standing in front of the car. The man gets out and walks over there. He knocks on the door but to his surprise, the door simply falls over. The man walks over the door inside, where the place is covered with cobwebs and there are dusty paintings over the place. From what we see, it seems that this house was once a luxurious home even though the size was small. But now, it's all dust and unusable junk. The man rubs the dust of the ripped couch and sits down. Some noises come from inside the couch and two rats crawl out from inside. They run towards the door,...................only turning into Kayline's breakfast. Kayline picks the dead bodies and gets away.

KZ: Things change around the world. Not only in WPW or some other wrestling business, but around other places too. And I wanted things to change. I have waited for things to change. And yes, they did after I beat down my opponents down 1..2..3 last week on TNT. Many people believed that I was crazy that night and not even a fan dared to get my autograph that night. The wrestlers at the back tried to keep away from me. Hell, even Kayline got in his cage for the first time after seeing me and it was Jamie who had the guts to approach me. She tried to calm me down but no. After giving her a piece of my crazy mind, I left the arena. I saw the face of Ben Whyndam after the match. The guy was shaken from the fear of being brought down. But you know my strength now. I brought down two men alone, without the help of my partner. And these two men were in size much bigger than me. Trent Payne and Damian Wreck must be in pain after what I caused them last week. But you see.........I didn't get over my anger that day. And that is how I was able to beat down my opponents. But of course, I dont consider using my anger as a weapon everytime I get into the ring. That time, I was sick and tired of losing after Full Force in every match I faced. What really pissed me off was the loss to the future loving Chris Cage, a former PCW superstar. PCW is no more so there is no need for me to mention it's name. WPW has got everything that PCW owned then. It's fans, it's reputation.......and most important of all, its superstars. When the time comes, we have to deal with it. And now, I have to deal with my opponents. MVP, you are not my opponent but try to keep out of my way if I get crazy every again. But I asure you, I will try my best not to. Now there is the so called monster Brock Goodman whom I had faced some time ago. He was the cause of my problems after my return. He had to involve in my affairs and luckily, he got away with it. What luck! And now, he gets stuck up with a female wrestler named Ave Khali.........Cali. I got beaten, yes I did. But I wont blame myself for that loss. I know I could have won.............without Goodman inside the arena. After the match up, the Boob and Butt made me spill blood onto the ring and that was when they made my angry. But I couldn't bring out that anger on Whiplash. Instead, I lost because of a damn partner I got whom I couldnt believe for his actions. But I beat him........on the next Live! And that felt good because I had wanted to strangle him from the very moment the refree declared Boob and the Butt the winners of the match. I ask you my dear fans. Wouldn't you be angered by something like that! And then, I started with problems with Gunnar Brian. Well, the story didnt end as I planned but it did. And yet again, I got beaten by another superstar called Cage and that's when he made me what I was on the last TNT. Now, I have to face Sky Rider too. I don't know who he is but he claims to be a 'great' superstar who just had beaten 1 or more guys. Congratulations Rider but that cannot be a factor you can use in your match agaisnt me and MVP. You may not know me very well and neither do I. But we will meet and learn each other very well soon enough. And then, MVP and I will go on for the titles and win it on Ruined Fate! Until next time...........

The scene opens up to a shot of MVP's face. He looks disapointed. As the camera slowly zooms out, MVP looks down to the side, and when the camera zooms far enough back you see he was looking at his wife, Julie, who is smiling. MVP looks at Julie and puts on a fake smile himself, then speaks.

MVP: Who would ever thought I would say this? Brock Goodman...thank you. Thank you for a win on Live last week, thank you for getting my career back on track, thank you for giving me a much needed win. I was doubting myself as a wrestler, and as a person. As a wrestler, before that match I lost my last two matches. As a person, I now had the entire wrestling community hating me. I now see that I was right in what I did. I was beginning to think that finally speaking out to the crowd was a big mistake and could cost me everything. After our win last week, Brock, you showed me the light. You showed me that all I needed to win was to clear my chest of playing to the crowd, of complementing them, of acting like I was someone they should love. Brock Goodman, thank you.
But, alas, this week I am pitted up in a tag team match with you Brock. I may have thanked you for giving me a win and momentum. But when it comes to becoming the first multi-champion in WPW history, and really making my mark on this business, all I can say to you is excactly what I said to the fans. To hell with you. And that is excactly what will happen to you and your good for nothing partner, Sky Rider. You will go straight to hell on the express train named MVP and Kaze. Brock, our match this Tuesday should be fun. It will be the third time I face you, second time we are in a tag match together, and first time I beat you. You beat me once, week two of WPW Live. You beat me a few weeks ago on TNT. But now this is he first time we face eachother with something on the line. The Number 1 Contendership for the Tag Team Titles. I have something to fight for,, and damnit when I see something that I want, I take it. Nothing will stop me, not Brock Goodman, not Sky Rider, not Darkness, and if it comes down to it, I won't let Kaze screw up. I live by the motto Dont Trust Anybody, which is coined by another wrestler who let nothing stop him, not even his boss. Kaze, I don't trust you. I can live with you, I can win with you, I can be champion with you, I respect you, but I don't trust you, because once you trust someone, they turn around and stab you in the back.

Julie: Baby, remember you did that to the fans. They trusted you and you stabbed them in the back.

MVP: That's completly different. The fans are worthless, they have no lives, they came to wrestling shows because they have no lives of their own and want to watch people like me, the Great Ones, kick other people's asses, like Brock Goodman or Sky Rider.
Now, speaking of Sky Rider their was something I really wanted to tell him. I wrote it down so I could be as polite as possible. Wait, let me get it.

MVP reaches into his pocket and pulls out a napkin. He holds it and reads from it.

MVP: "Sky Rider, I am sorry for what will happen to you on Tuesday. It is not my fault that Mr. Carlos Gonzalez put you in a situation where your life could end, but sadly he did. I wanted to let you know in advance that you will be fighting with Brock Goodman on your team, and the man is a complete asshole. You can have fun with him on your team. Also, I apologize on behalf of my team of Kze and myself, for the extrerme beating you will receive when in the ring. Once again, it is not our fault if you wind up in the hospital, but we will take full responsibilty for winning the match and eventually the World Tag Team Titles. Because Kaze is Some Kind of Monster, and I am the Most Valuble Player in the WPW."
And I am 100% sincere about that letter, too, Sky. And also what I am sincere about is what I said earlier, and that I will not let anything, or anyone, stand in my way of the Tag Titles. That includes Brock, Sky, and Kaze, or the people in the stands not now think I am the Monster and Kaze is...Kaze.

From out of nowhere we see Matt walk infront of MVP wearing a Brock Goodman T-shirt.

Matt: You and Brock gonna win this week? You know he's my new favorite wrestler now that you and him are a tag team.

MVP: I am, but I'm facing Brock, I'm not on his team.

Matt: How come you were on his team last week?

MVP: Because I was on his team last week, just not this week.

Matt now rips the shirt off, revealing the MVP shirt underneath.

MVP: Matt, get the hell out of my room. And don't you ever knock.

Matt: I would, but you usually open the door just enough to let me take a step in then you close the door on my chest.

Julie grabs Matt's neck and throws him out the door and closes it.

MVP: As I was saying, Brock Goodman, Sky Rider, your journey to the WPW Tag Titles ends this Tuesday, while I continue my route to becoming the first multi-champion in WPW History while Brock Goodman sits in his corner jacking off the a picture of Ave, and while Sky Rider does what he does for fun. Me and Kaze, though different, will become one.

The camera fades out to the WPW logo.

Brock Goodman is sitting in the middle of a park as light snow is falling around him. People are walking past him shivering, while Brock is sitting in jeans and a light jacket with a t-shirt under it, laughing a little.

Brock: You see, these people walking along the street going to their jobs or their homes, they have nothing to live for. That's why they stand in fear of the elements, they let nature takes it's course and wash over them, completely dominating their lives. Their routine has made them all a shell of what they could become and has made them cold and dead to the rest of the world.

You see, I am different. I have a fire that burns inside of me with everything that I do. I do not have to bow down before the elements that are fit to discomfort and destroy us.

Brock stands up and begins walking through the park as the snowly lightly dusts his hair.

Brock: You see that's why the ever changing climate of the WPW is so easily adaptable for one Brock Goodman. When I started here, I got a lucky break by being put in a title tournament and winning a shot at the gold. However, the winds were blowing my way and thus I was defeated...but it led me to the tag team division. Normally a loner by nature, teamwork doesn't suit my fancy. However, kicking ass does and if tag team competiton gives me just another victim on the opposite side of the ring then the more the merrier.

Ryder, I must say I'm surprised you're not completely useless. But I'm letting you know this, however bad you think you are...I'm worse. However tough you think you are, I'm tougher. But one thing I am above all else is trustworthy. If you stick by me and we succeed, I'll be your best friend. If we don't succeed well....let's just say that you want to succeed.

Now Montel, you're welcome. However, I think the reason you're thanking me is completely wrong. You see Montel, ever since you got your back burned you haven't been able to do anything on your own. You need someone to carry you through a whole match to leave the oppoenents so weakened that your lame finisher actually works...and that's exactly what I gave to you last week. This week, however, you are teaming with someone who by all accounts seems to be mildly retarded. I say that with certain truth because I brought his little promo or whatever that was to a psychoanalyst and he said that beyond a shadow of a doubt this man has an IQ that is in the dangerous range of being mentally challenged. And then it hit me, what we witnessed last week was an fit of 'tard rage.

For those of you not familiar with the term 'tard rage, it is very similar to Eugene beating the shit out of Jim Duggan. Now for anyone of you who really know me, you know that anything that could make beating someone up better...is beating up someone elderly, brutally scarred, or retarded. This week I get two out of three of those, which is excellent. Now it may seem that I am speaking in jest, I assure you my words will not match my actions on Turmoil this Tuesday. I assure this Tuesday, Brock Goodman comes back from his sleep...and you will face the wrath of the woken giant.

Brock Goodman continues to walk away from the camera as the snow falls a bit heavier.

Interview... With A Genius...
-------------------------------

The scene opens up to "The Calculating Factor" Sky Ryder standing beside none other than Amy White, who is holding a microphone, presumably for an interview. There is a smirk across his face as he looks towards Amy, and he dons a "You can't comprehend this equation" shirt of his own, complete with a sunmoon across the front. He stands there, arms crossed, waiting on Amy to speak.

Amy White: I'm here with the rookie Sky Ryder and...

Ryder puts his hand up to Amy to stop her, and gives her a cold stare as she stammers and finally stops.

Sky Ryder: Whoa... Amy, did I just hear you call me a rookie? DId I hear you correctly?

Amy White: Um... yes, I did. You are a rookie here, you haven't even appeared on Turmoil yet.

Sky Ryder: While that MAY be true, I'm no rookie. I've wrestled all across this country, winning title after title, match after match, showing people across the globe what the Calculating Factor is all about.

Amy White: Well, to be frank, I've never even heard of you, save for the times you've wrestled on Live.

Sky Ryder: That matters not, Amy. What matters is that this Tuesday, every one will realize how great I am. MVP, Kaze, and most importantly, my tag team partner, Brock Goodman.

Amy White: Actually, that was my first question. How do you feel after Brock Goodman announced that working with you could have his advantages?

Ryder chuckles for a second, then looks into the camera, a smile across his face.

Sky Ryder: I think that Brock and I have come to an understanding of sorts. You see, Brock, when working with a partner, I do a great deal of pre-match analysis. From the look of things, we should work extremely well together. Your brute strength and depravity, and my in ring intellect and, well, depravity. It makes for a deadly combination, don't you agree? With me as your partner, we shall be invincible, so long as you don't go psycho and kill me, or... visa-versa.

Amy White: Are you suggesting that you would try and kill Brock?

Ryder shakes his head and laughs.

Sky Ryder: Amy, you misunderstand me. Not surprising, to say the least. All I'm saying is that if worse comes to worse, and I decide that our partnership should come to a close, it won't be pretty. Trust me.

Amy smiles and shakes her head slightly, as if to shake off those thoughts, and continues the interview.

Amy White: What about your opponents, MVP and Kaze, any comments you'd like to make towards them?

Sky Ryder: Of course Amy... especially after that dear little apology that MVP wrote for me. Gee... what a swell thought! An "extreme beating" from "Some Kind of Homo" and the "Most Vulnerable Pussy?" Wow... I can't wait to see how hardcore those guys can get. But I do tell you what MVP, when I'm in that hospital, I'll make sure to tell the nurses your blood type, cause while you are lying in that bed, you're gonna need all the donations you can get, after Brock and I are through with you. You will need surgery just so the police can identify your mangled corpse. You will...

Amy White taps Ryder on the shoulder, who had gotten his entire body in the way of her, and was staring intently into the camera while speaking through clenched teeth. Ryder turns to her, the look of anger still on his face.

Sky Ryder: What?

Amy White: Not to intrude, but I DO have others places to be, you know.

Sky Ryder: Fine, just a few choice words for Kaze, and I'll be done, ok? Ok.

Ryder grabs the microphone from Amy and pushes her from the scene with a scream of protest from her. He then steps back up into the camera, and speaks, every word dripping with anger.

Sky Ryder: I may not know you very welll, Kaze, but I do know a lot. I know I am undefeated here in WPW, and that I plan to keep it that way. I know that I have one ruthless brute as a partner, and that he will, in most outcomes, beat you to a bloody pulp. I also know that I am more intelligent than you, and that that is the key to my victory on Tuesday. Hell, after that, I could care less, unless we happen to step into the same ring once again. In that case, then yes, yes I will know more about you, and that is NOT good for you, Kaze, not good at all.

Ryder laughs a maniacal laugh as he drops the microphone and walks off camera, effectively ending the interview.

Darth Vader

Amy White: Um... yes, I did. You are a rookie here, you haven't even appeared on Turmoil yet.

Sky Ryder: While that MAY be true, I'm no rookie. I've wrestled all across this country, winning title after title, match after match, showing people across the globe what the Calculating Factor is all about.

The scene opens to behind a camera where there is a tv crew and in front of the camera, sitting on a chair is none other than Kaze. The crew is working on a promo and a guy wearing a black shirt and a black cap tells the crew to start shooting. Kaze simly sits on the chair, waiting for the "On Air" sign to go red. And in a matter of seconds, it does and Kaze starts to speak.

KZ: Ladies and Gentlemen, before this promo started, we have shown you part of an interview involving Sky Ryder. And if you all rememver very well, Ryder he won some titles. But what do I have to say to him???? I have to say that those titles whatever they are doesnt count here in WPW. It doesn't matter if you had won the WWE World Heavyweight championship from Batista, you still are in WPW. Whatever reputation you had earned before, you cannot use it here. You will still be a rookie over here. Ryder, you think that you are the best of the best. You think that you are the most intelligent person on this planet. But what you don't know is that all of what you 'think' will be put into a test on TNT and you know it. MVP and I will be the toughest opponents you ever meet. And it doesn't matter if Goodman has your back. Thats because MVP had beaten Goodman on the last TNT and that proves that Goodman is not to be considered as a dangerous guy. But you, you have never fought a great superstar in this business. And you will never win either if you do. This match in which we are going to be involved in this Tuesday is a contendership for the tag titles. So, it's going to be big. Maybe bigger than the very title match. And thigs may tunr out nasty. If they do, you better get out of the ring. Why you may ask? Because you aren't the invincible team. WE are!

Kaze looks down and leans forward. Then he looks back up again and starts to speak.

Now there is Brock Goody Goody. A man who claims to be a very dangerous guy with those monstrous characteristics. A man who every guy in the back will agree to be a fearsome guy. So fearsome that even the very hairs on his head stand straight, afraid he might remove them with rage and fury! Brock, you are indeed a ferocious beast but you must know this. There are other people out there who can and WILL take you down. Don't try to prove me wrong because a fact shall be a fact. And that is the truth and the truth is a truth! With all those might and rage, you may as well as beat down your own partner whom you thought was useless. Sky Ryder, thats your parter's own opinion about you. Brock, you might try to change your attitiude cause it's getting you nowhere today. MVP and I will defeat your team and when we reach Ruined Fate, the titles will be ours. Until next time.......fools.....

A sudden white flash comes across the screen and we see the WPW logo. The scene has come to an........AHHHHHH.....

End Scene

Philly
01-23-2007, 06:20 PM
The scene opens up to a shot of an airport. You see people walking every which way. Finally the camera zooms upon MVP getting off his plane, he is alone, and turning to see where he should go. He decides to awlk straight at the camera. When he gets to the camera he keeps walking, and the camera turns to follow him. He finally walks to the baggage claim area, turns and spots the camera, and begins to speak.

MVP: What, a guy can't get 2 hours of privacy? Everywhere I go people want to talk to me, get an interview with me, ask me these annoying questions. Most of them pertaining to why I said what I said. You people just don't get it. I am sick and tired of you guys. I don't care what you have to say anymore, I am my own man. I fight for myself, I do what I please, I say what the hell I want. Thats not how it was before. I was catering to the people chanting my name, I was your people's employee. Not anymore. Now I understand that you people don't give a damn about me so why should I give a damn about you.

MVP points off camera.

MVP: That guy, I bet he knows who I am. If I walked up to him and asked how he was doing a month ago he would scream my name, beg for an autograph, and get a bunch of people around me. I never had a problem with that. I liked the attention. I grew up with 2 brothers, and I was the middle so I never got too much attention. So I never minded when people acted like I was Brad Pit or John Cena. But now if I ask how he's doing, he will tell me to fuck myself. Am I disapointed? Yes. Am I sad? Yes. Do I care? Not at all. I don't give a fuck. You turn your back and me and shit goes crazy! It might start with me telling the people to go to hell like I did two weeks ago, and then escalate into me winning the WPW Tag Team Championships like I will. And it might just esculate into myself becoming the first multi-champion in WPW History.

MVP turns around for a minute and finds a sports bag and picks it up and drops it on the ground.

MVP: I just got here in Ocala, piss poor town and I've been here far to often. Anyway, I am in Ocala Florida tonight, picture this, I am kicking Brock Goodman's ass in front of almost a thousand people, Kaze is in the corner taking notes on how a champion fights, Sky Rider will have his head through a table, and Brock will be on the recieving end of a murder. OK, now that you have that in your mind, picture me hitting the Most Valuble Move in WPW on Brock Goodman, sending him back to hell where he belongs. Then picture me pinning Brock for the first time in my career. I'm pinning a man that beat me in 3 seconds, and later was in the Main Event of Activation for the WPW World Title. Sadly poor Brock missed out on his chance for the title, while I capitalized on it by becoming the first Florida State Champion. So every time Brock loses, something good happens. I mean there was Activation, and then there will be tonight. Because tonight, Brock loses and I am in line to become the first multi-champion in WPW History. Is that a big deal? I think so, because Brock Goodman was in the world title hunt while I was flipping hamburgers, and now I'm going to have had two championships around my waste while he is beating the crap out of Sky Rider for possibly costing him a match, even though it will be Brock's fault.
Brock, don't think for a second this match revolves around one person. It's not about you, nor me. It's about Me, you, Kaze, and Ride Skyer. It's about pride, it's about Gold, it's about me and you, and how you beat me twice, we won together once, but I never beat you. Brock, I say this all the time to all my opponents. I refuse to lose, my pride gets hurt easily, and after saying what I've been saying all week, my pride will be devistated if I lose. Let's put it in math terms, shall we.
Brock plus Sky Rider "is less than" MVP plus Kaze. Lets solve for the winner. Actually this is a very simple equation. Just pick the one that is "greater then" and you have a winner. In this case MVP and Kaze.

MVP puts on a small smile

MVP: Yea, I hate math too, and that was incredibly corny. But facts are facts, and the fact remains that Brock and Sky will have to fight to the death just to be in the same league as myself and Kaze. Brock, I'll see you in the ring for the forth time tonight, you won twice, I never won. Numbers are against me, but destiny is on my side.

MVP picks up his bag off the ground and walks off.

Mike Adams

Brock Goodman is lacing up his boots when Amy walks in.

Amy: Brock, any prematch thoughts tonight?

Brock: To be honest Amy, I don't have anything for you. To say that I'm going to be worried about getting defeated by a large man who just because he showed some flurry of offense last week because his opponents were dumb jocks who weren't there mentally, he get's a shot at a championship is ridiculous.

Even more ridiculous is to think that a Smackdown star who is hounded by invisible paparazzi, trying to copy Matt Striker's lame teaching gimmick in an effort to show how dangerously uneducated he is. This man could not beat himself folks, and to even infer that he would have a shot against the first main eventer that WPW ever had while the closest thing MVP has seen to a main event or being a most valuable anything is when his wife lies to him in bed saying that he is the best she's ever had.

Get a clue folks, Montel and Kaze aren't even a flash in the pan sensation, they are a bunch of random bodies that were just thrown in my path to block me from the greatness I deserve. And for those critics who tell me that MVP was the Florida State champion and as a former champion he should be respected for the gifts that he has, I have two words for ya: David Arquette.

Now Amy, kindly get the fuck out of my locker room so I can finish getting ready.

Brock slams the door on Amy as she seems a bit shocked.

Amy: Well as you can see, we have a very unhappy Brock Goodman here at Turmoil tonight.
