Reminder: All RPs are due by January 2nd, midnight eastern time.

This is the role play thread for the following match. All role plays for this match are to go here.

Mykal Adams won the Florida State Championship off of Nick Comoroto not even two weeks ago, but now he must defend it in his hardest challenge to date. MVP was screwed out of his second reign with the Florida State Championship when Nick Comoroto was disqualified and ended up keeping the belt only to lose it to Adams days later. Andrew Xavier was the PCW Hardcore Champion up until the Tournament of Champions where he came unprepared and in an upset victory lost the title to Johnny Bad Blood. Gerard Carson comes into this match with not one title, but two as he holds the Innovators of Wrestling Championship and the God of Live Title. Although there are two men from PCW and two men from WPW, one has to wonder how much to their men love their companies compared to how much they love gold. Will a man potentially cost his company the match just to gain the possibility of winning the title himself? This one will be hot.

Reminder: Please copy paste your role play on the IOW version of this threas as well located at... http://www.iowrestling.net/showthread.php?p=333522#post333522

Andrew Xavier
12-21-2006, 03:43 PM
"The Question one must ask is simply this: Can a man love his company, more than he loves gold."

The words echo softly as we fade to a shot of Andrew Xavier standing in the middle of a large wrestling ring. The ring has a plain white canvas and blue ropes with white turnbuckle pads. Around us we see nothing but bright lights creating a dream like setting. Andrew stands there in his ring gear, his bulging muscles showing. He has a cocky smile on his face as he stares at the camera with his deep blue eyes.

Andrew: The Answer to that question is one that will definitely decide the fate of every man in the IOW/Florida State unification match. I mean will each man choose to represent their company and gain a win or will the risk it all for their own personal gain? I know my answer.

Andrew steps back from the camera and smirks as he rests back on the blue ropes.

Andrew: For now though my thoughts don't matter because this pay per view is going to change the course of wrestling history forever. Whoever wins this will have the opportunity to call their federation the best and the loser; well they won't be worth thinking about. Each match on the card means everything, one single loss could change everything so on January 3rd I know for a fact that every man and woman, every wrestler, every staff member, every referee, will be giving it all for one last time. I will be no different. On January third I will take absolutely everything I have and charge into battle against WPW, and if need be against PCW.

Now Why PCW you may ask, well the hard fact is that on both sides of this battle their will be traitors, their will be cowards who choose to screw over their company and if such an event occurs then believe me I will do what has to be done.

On that note let me talk about Gerard Carson. Gerard you are a double PCW Champion, you are known as PCW Loyal but you know as well as I do that this match we are in is every man for himself. If I have to take you out I won't hesitate but don't take it the wrong way.

Andrew pushes his back off of the ropes and bounces forwards. He walks across to the other side of the ring and mounts himself on the ropes raising his right arm in the air. Suddenly the bright lights around the ring change to a cheering crowd and we can hear the sound full circle. Andrew jumps down from the ropes and turns around. We see a glimmer around his waist and as we look down we see both the Florida State and IOW titles around his waist. He smiles widely at the camera.

Andrew: Destiny Awaits.........

The Camera fades to black.

OOC: For those of you unaware Andrew Xavier is a rich guy and has a special effects room in his mansion. See my rp battle with Murph for the blue screen from before. The crowd was computer generated and the title belts were replicas bought by him. Just to make clear :D

The scene opens up with a man wearing a black hat and has it pulled down, covering his face like so

The man is standing outside a house, and you see a screen door with a closed, wooden door behind it. The man picks up his fat to reveal his face, and it is revealed to be none other than former WPW Florida State Champion, MVP. MVP looks at the camera with a grin on his face. His grin becomes gradually more like a smile, then he’s laughing.

MVP: Once upon a time, in a little town named Norristown, there were a group of people that loved eachother. MVP and his wife Julie, and MVP’s wife Matt. And, MVP also had the WPW Florida State Championship. Things could not be better for the Bonamico family. But then one dark and stormy night, something terrible happened. In the city of Memphis, Tennessee, Julie and Matt were sitting in the crowd while MVP was defending his championship against Nick Comoroto. In one night, MVP lost the WPW Florida State Championship, and his family. That made MVP very sad. He didn’t have a place to live or anything to live for, except WPW that is. But he didn’t give up. He found refuges in motels around Florida, and eventually got a nice house. And then at an event where two companies, WPW and a company named PCW, MVP faced Mykal Adams, who was by now the Florida Champion, and two men from PCW, Gerald Carson and Andrew Xaviar, while Gerald Carson held the Innovator of Wrestling Championship. Now everyone knew MVP’s strength and ability, but what people did not know was that MVP was destined to win. Even MVP did not know that it was his destiny to win that match. But when that fateful day did come, and MVP had fought 3 other men for two championships-

MVP cuts himself off, and claps his hand like he’s closing a book.

MVP: I will not rewrite history. Rewriting history would be me losing, or not winning, the WPW Florida State Championship. No. Today, I am writing the future. I am writing that at WPW PCW When World’s Collide, MVP will walk out as the IOW Champion and WPW Florida State Champion.
The story I said when I first welcomed you to my home is a wonderful story. It could probably make for a Blockbuster film. “Desire To Wrestle.” It could show how much one man wants to wrestle, and be champion. And in some way, my life reminds me of Rocky Balboa’s. We both get our asses handed to us, but we both come out on top.

There is thunder and you see a flash of lighting and you hear raindrops falling behind the camera.

MVP: Let’s go inside.

MVP walks inside and lets the cameraman in and closes the door. The room that opens up has been seen before in MVP’s promos. It is painted brown, with a doorway on the opposite side of the room.

MVP: I bet many of you people don’t know something about Ol’ MVP. I grew up in a great family. My mom and dad loved me very much, all four of my grandparents lived to be very old. I had two brothers, both are still around. Jared is five years older than me and he lives in Atlantic City. Cole is five years younger than me, and he lives in Los Angeles. My mom and dad live out in Vegas, and are both still alive. I had a half sister named Maria who also lives around me, about a half hour drive from where my wife Julie is, and is a teacher. I didn’t have many friends growing up. In fact, my cousin Matt was my best friend for as long as I can remember, and I have a pretty damn good memory. I did have some friends, but never got close to any friends too much. Sure I keep in touch with them, and they can always just watch me on TV, but we’re not as close as a lot of people. I didn’t get a girlfriend until college. MVP is a loser. What do I have to live for? Not friends, my immediate family lives in different states, beside Maria but she doesn’t talk much. What do I have to live for? If I lose this match, nothing!

Then you hear the door open and the camera turns around to see a soaking wet Julie Bonamico standing at the door! She is wearing a jacket, and her hair is soaked. She is crying.

Julie (crying): A Wife.

MVP runs at Julie and gives her a hug, and spins her around, then he leads her inside. But MVP is not smiling, it’s more of a look of shock on his face. Julie is still crying.

Julie: You have a wife to come home to every night. A wife that believes in you when times are bad, a wife that will not, cannot stop loving you.

Now MVP is crying also.

MVP: I love you.

MVP hugs her again and doesn’t let go. The camera gets close to them.

MVP: I promise I won’t let anything happen again, I won’t lose you, I can’t I’m nothing without you. If I ever see Candace or anyone that will drag me away from you-

Julie: I know…I know.

MVP lets go of the hug and tries to gather himself and stop crying on camera.

MVP: This is my wife, Julie!

Julie(who is still crying): And, TJ, I promise that I will never leave. I understand what you do, I understand now why you can’t be with me everyday. And I will make myself understand why you love doing this.

MVP: I love doing this because of the rewards, not the sacrifice. Julie, I want to spend every minute of every day with you, but I also want to wrestle. Wrestling is my passion, its in my blood, without it, I would be just a man. When I wrestle I am superhuman. When I wrestle, I can look forward to going to When Worlds Collide and win the Florida State Championship, I can look forward to winning the IOW championship, and I can look forward to spending the next day with the love of my life.

Voice: Awwww

Matt walks onto the screen, and Julie laughs through her tears while MVP gives him a man-hug, then throws him over the couch.

MVP: Let’s go home. Wow, home…A place I never thought I’d see again.

Julie: Well, let’s not head home just yet. Tell me more about When Worlds Collide.

MVP: In a nutshell, WPW vs. PCW. Mykal Adams is defending the Florida State championship against me and two PCW guys. And one PCW guy is putting the Innovator of Wrestling title on the line, so the winner takes home both titles for himself, and his company.

Julie: I know that, I’ve been watching you for the past month. Tell me about what your going to do after you win.

MVP: After I win? Jewles, last time I talked about what I would do after I win, I lost. I want to take this one day at a time. Get my training in, prepare for the next day of training, until the day of the match. On January 3, 2007, is when I will talk about winning that match. And, if and when I do win, and finally prove that I deserve more, my first order of business is rub it in Nick Comoroto’s face…

MVP leads Julie out the door into the rain, while Matt gets off the couch and looks around, then screams and runs outside to follow.

The scene opens within a huge, circular shopping centre as the camera faces a gigantic, highly decorated Christmas tree towering high above the many noisy people below, most of them rushing around doing their last minute Christmas shopping. The camera pans downwards as it reveals the countless number of people moving fastly by with shopping bags in their hands, pushing past each other as the camera also reveals a ‘Santa’s Grotto’ area by this Christmas tree where young children are lining up, all smiles and happy, all of them still believing in the magical side of Christmas time, waiting to see one of their childhood heroes with their parents standing beside them, holding their hands. The camera pans around away from the Christmas tree and to a man sitting on a bench on his own, looking over at the queue to Santa’s Grotto, sighing as he sees the happy faces of the children and their parents. The man sitting on the bench is none other than the IOW Champion and God of Live himself, Gerard Carson. Gerard continues looking in the same direction as he begins to speak in a tone that sounds slightly uncomfortable.

Gerard: Christmas time…a time of year that many view as a happy time, others not so much with their negative views on the season festivities or for other various reasons, while for some unfortunate ones, it is a bad time of year for them because of events that happened to them or have affected them around this time of year, events that changed their lives in a bad way and these memories taking away the joys that Christmas time should bring. For nine whole years, I have been one of the unfortunate ones…for those of you in WPW who do not know, a while ago in PCW, many questioned why I was inner-centred, not caring about anybody but myself and just why I was so god damn angry most of the time? These questions were answered when I told of my past, a dark twist of events that I hope no other innocent human being would have to go through…

Gerard turns to face the camera, as he does, a look of seriousness stays on his face as he continues to speak.

For those of you who don’t know about this already, let me tell you a story…Once upon a time, I, Gerard Carson was a very happy man, I had it all, a great girl, a great life, and I even had a son… Everything was going great for me, but it all started going downhill from the moment I told my dad that my girlfriend was pregnant and that he was going to become a granddad, he betrayed me from that point and never wanted to speak to me again, and the reason for this you may ask? Well, my dad’s only been a very religious man for practically all of his life, and he had strong views on a lot of things, yes, in this case, sex before marriage, and this was what turned my father against me, because however much he knew I could handle the responsibilities of fathering a child, he would always put his religious views before his kids. I tried to beg for forgiveness from him, but he never shown the slightest bit of sympathy towards me…but the most selfish thing of all…he never even wanted to see that child…

Gerard shakes his head in anger at the thought of his father, but stops and just breathes out heavily before carrying on.

I never gave up on trying to make up with my father, my sister Amy even tried to make him see that I cared, but unlike me, he did not care, and when I heard that he didn't want to see my son, all the good memories of my father were washed away and forgotten with those few bitter words, and from then on, I never wanted to speak to him again…That was just the start of my troubles, although at the time of my son’s birth, I thought all of my troubles had went away, because when I looked into this baby’s eyes, I saw something special, and I made it my goal to not make the mistake that my father made, and I would love my boy like he was my world, and he was my world for the three-months that I was with him, but then, in one day, one moment, my life changed, and it was only the start of the unexpected twist of events that were about to send my life downhill…

Gerard closes his eyes for a moment as he gulps and just shakes his head again before opening his eyes as he continues to talk about his past.

One day…I came home from college, I was only 19 years old at the time, and I had an engagement ring in my pocket to give to the girl that I loved, her name was Tina, and like my son Stephen, she was part of what was my already wonderful world, that was at least, until…I saw her…with my best friend…(gulps)…at that one moment, the moment where I witnessed betrayal from two important people in my life, my attitude changed, I felt a fire burn inside me like never before, the way Tina looked scared, and my best friend…the way he looked at me with a cocky fucking smile as if what he did was something to be proud of! I couldn’t take it! I grabbed his head and smashed it through the fucking window, Tina screamed, I pulled him away and started hitting boot after boot and boot all over his body, he was bleeding, Tina begged me to stop, but I wasn’t going to listen to her! I picked him up and threw him hard against the walls, I punched him in his already bloody and bruised face, I gave him the beating of his life and I didn’t know that I had the power in me to do that to anyone, and before I knew it, I ended the beating with a hard side-thrust kick that knocked him out, this move today is one of my finishing moves, the Blast From The Past, the kick that knocked that back-stabbing son of a bitch out cold and made my girlfriend regret what she did…I would’ve done more to him, but it was when I heard the cry of Stephen in the other room that I knew I had gone too far, I couldn’t do this anymore, not while my son heard the screaming, it would frighten his innocent little heart, I never felt more guilty in my entire life for scaring my son like that. So I ran, I ran as fast as I could and at the time, I didn’t know where the hell I was running to…that cry was the last I ever heard of my son, and that was the last time that I ever knew that he was my son…because before I knew it, the police got me after what was a phone-call from Tina, and I was in court for charges of assault…I had no chance of avoiding prison, however much of a case I put up, the court knew the beating was attempted murder...I almost killed my ex-best friend and he would’ve been dead if I didn’t stop beating him up…But prison was not the worst thing that happened to me, it was before the sentence that my world turned upside down on me when Tina revealed to me during the break that…that…(gulps)…Stephen wasn’t my son…he was my best friend’s son…

Gerard stays silent and closes his eyes as the bad memories of this come back to him. He waits for a moment before he opens his eyes slowly as a look of regret and sadness appears on his face.

I couldn’t help it, I lashed out at her, I wanted to hurt her too for betraying me, a thousand thoughts rushed through my head, many of denial hoping that it wasn't true, but just as many thoughts knowing that she wasn't lying...I had one goal from the moment I heard that truth, to get back at Tina for the dark and dirty secret that she kept hidden all this time! But the split second I lashed out at her and started screaming, the guards got to me before I could do anything to her, and because of my big mistake of reacting on the spot, my sentence was increased to four years locked inside a prison cell and I could never see Stephen ever again…I had to live four years inside that prison on my own, knowing that my world had collapsed, knowing that I had lost everything, and I thought that nothing could save me…It was at this time of year, that my prison sentence started, it was this time of year, where my world shattered before me, to have many shocking truths revealed to me like that practically killed me inside, and I never felt the same joy and happiness at Christmas again, these memories will never leave me…I think about the young boy I thought was my son almost everyday, and I always feel some kind of doubt whenever I think about it…

Gerard looks over at the kids lining up outside Santa’s Grotto as he speaks in a softer tone.

Those kids over there, the way the happiness shines off their young faces, I always wonder if Stephen is as happy as them, just what the hell he looks like and I even wonder now of what could’ve been if I still had him in custody, if I would be lining up with him to see Santa, or if he’d still believe in Santa…

Gerard laughs slightly and smiles a little as a slight tear appears in his eye, he stays silent for a moment but steps back into reality and shakes his head.

Christmas time has always been a miserable time of year for me in the past, I’ve always been the type to be a Scrouge every Christmas over these past eight years, but not this year… it’s like I’ve experienced the way Scrouge met the three ghosts of Christmas past, present and future and was able to feel a new happiness at this time of year, but for me, it’s in a much different way, because this year has been a good one for me, and I owe that to my time in PCW, because it was through my start in professional wrestling earlier this year that I was reunited with my sister after eight long years apart, and now, I am as successful as ever in my wrestling career, I have fans, I have two pieces of championship gold, and I owe this all to wrestling for becoming my saviour…from when a man saved me from muggers one day when I was living in the streets after my time in prison, this man was a wrestling coach, not a very well known one, but he offered me a way out of my misery to train me to become tougher and to feel like I had some confidence in myself, and I accepted his offer, for two whole years, I trained with him everyday and became stronger, using my gymnastics background, I was able to master high-flying and springboard moves, and my trainer believed in me so much that it ended up killing him…he died of a heart attack, I called for an ambulance immediately, but it never came on time, my trainer was dead before it got there. I sat with him as he passed on and I made a promise to him, a promise that I would do him proud, that however long it took, I would get my life back together and that I would be the best damn wrestler I could ever be, and now, eight years on, I now live knowing I have fulfilled that promise to him, and I can be proud of the achievements I have had so far in my career, and I can be proud of getting my life back together…this Christmas, I finally feel like I can sit back, relax, and enjoy myself, that I have finally achieved something, and I have to owe that to PCW for helping me to become the better person I am today, and I’m going to owe this to them by playing my part at When Worlds Collide by winning one of the five matches that are needed to be won to keep PCW in business, but it is not just that reason that I am aiming for a win in this match, you see, as much as I'm going to play my part in helping to keep PCW in business, I have a bigger intention…

Gerard turns to the camera as he is ready to move on to the topic of the next match where he will be putting his IOW title on the line.

This intention I talk about is the victory I want from the Fatal 4 Way match at When Worlds Collide, I don’t intend to lose my IOW title, however much of a challenge this match is going to be, I’m not afraid of a challenge and I'm now going to tell each of my opponents why...

First off, I start with a man by the name of Mykal Adams. Adams, the other day on Tuesday Night Turmoil, for the first time ever, the two mid-card champs of PCW and WPW came face-to-face, and I have to hand it to you, when I looked into your eyes, I saw no fear, I sensed no thought of backing-down within you, your heart will be set on defending your Florida State championship, and don’t get me wrong, I can respect that, and I’ve heard all about you, believe me, I know that you’re no paper champion, I know that you’re going to give one hell of a fight to all of us involved in this match, and most importantly, I know that just like me, you don’t want to lose your gold. My IOW title, alongside my God of Live title, is why I am successful today and I am going to show you exactly why I am the first-ever dual champion in PCW history, I’m going to battle like never before to keep hold of my title and to prove to you all in WPW and even to my fellow wrestlers in PCW that I am a force to be feared in both companies, and that no-one is going to take my pride of being a champion away from me and no-one is going to stop the Phenomonal Force that is Gerard Carson.

Now, onto the next opponent. MVP, I have already faced you in the ring, and I think pretty much all that happened was you got your face smashed in with a Blast From the Past and you were out. I don’t know if you were having a bad day or what, but do you even deserve to be in this match if you were that easy to take out? Perhaps not, since your history as an ex-Florida State Champion who still deserves a fair rematch for the title has earned you your spot in this Fatal 4 Way. Also, I don’t know if it’s your stupidity or you’re trying to mock me, but my name certainly isn’t Gerald, and if you can’t remember that now, then you will remember my name when I become the mid-card champion of PCW or WPW after When Worlds Collide. You have alot to prove to me in this match after our tag match on Tuesday Night Turmoil, and you better had try and prove yourself if you ever want a shot at me and the combined IOW and Florida State championship.

Finally, moving onto a man that I am more than familiar with, Andrew Xavier. Xavier, I agree with you my friend, this battle is every man for himself indeed, meaning that you and I will be walking into this match not so much with a main goal to defend PCW, that’s the duty mainly guys who aren’t in title matches at When Worlds Collide. But let’s face it, both of us have a future in whatever company wins, whether it be PCW or WPW, this match is more to prove who the real mid-card champion is of both companies, and the man who wins this match will more than likely be worthy of being at the same level of World Championship contenders, but until we are fully able to prove that we are main-event worthy, the mid-card is where you and I lie Xavier, it is where our pride lies. You have recently lost your Hardcore Championship to a man you were not proud to lose it to, believe me, a few months ago, I was in the same position when I lost that very same belt to Spaz, but now, months later, I am more a success than ever for dropping that poor excuse of a title, now, people recognise me, people see me as a great wrestler, people see me as a true champion. You have your time to get adjusted to the mid-card division Andrew like I had to, but while you do that, I will continue my dominance, I will overcome challenges from all paths and continue my rise to the top as a strong-hearted champion. This is something that the ‘New Age’ of Andrew Xavier is not going to stop, and as great as your need for championship gold since your loss of the Hardcore title is, my need to keep hold of my title is greater, I don’t want to lose my title Andrew, I have no intention on losing this title, I will do everything in my path to stop you and the other two opponents from taking my pride from me.

So Adams, MVP, Xavier, I hope you all get yourselves some fine rest over the holiday season, because this year, I finally have a Christmas to enjoy and refresh my mind, and come 2007, Gerard Carson is going to be back and better than ever, I’ll be ready for the challenge of the Fatal 4 Way Match at When Worlds Collide, but the question is, will you all be as ready as I will be?

As Gerard asks the question, he waits for a moment before standing up as he is ready to leave, looking at the camera one last time.

As a great legend John Lennon once said in his song about Christmas time, “War is over, if you want it”, but that’s not the case this year. This war between PCW and WPW isn’t going to end just because we all want a happy Christmas, no, Jeff O’Donnell and Carlos Gonzalez want this war to continue until the better company completely annihilates the over, and for now, over the next few weeks as the clock ticks down for the collision between these two fierce rivals, this war is only just beginning, the preparation for the battle between PCW and WPW begins now, and this war won’t end until When Worlds Collide, but even when that war ends, there will not be a complete happiness amongst everyone, because when one company meets it’s demise, some people won't be satisfied with what happens, some will lose their jobs and their faith in wrestling, but in all honesty, I don’t mind what company wins, the main thing I care about keeping is my pride in my titles, and I am not going to let my pride slip from my grasp that easily. 2007 will be the year of the Phenomenon, and the year will start with a bang at When Worlds Collide when I walk out as the undisputed mid-card champion of whatever company I will be working for after January 3rd. My victory over the three of you will just be the beginning of what will be a very dominant year, the Generation of Carsonation is about to go in a new direction as I rise up the roster, and the three of you cannot prevent it…See you all at When Worlds Collide…

Gerard nods at the camera, before he looks over at Santa’s Grotto one last time and half-smiles before he turns around and leaves, not looking back as the camera pans around, looking at Gerard as he walks away before fading out slowly.

End Scene.

Andrew Xavier
12-23-2006, 04:00 PM
The cameras fade to the shot of a roaring fire, sparks fly from the orange glow as we pan out to the shot of large fireplace. The fire continues to burn as the camera moves up to see various cards lining the top of the marble surface.

Andrew: Don't you just love Christmas?

The cameras turn around to see Andrew Xavier standing their in a white suit. He has a large smile on his face and a glass of wine in his hand. Behind him we see a large Christmas tree decorated with lights and tinsel and underneath we see various presents wrapped up to perfection with red paper and green bows.

Andrew: Christmas is a time to be happy, a time for family to come together and for everybody to get along. It just so happens however that this year may be a little different as we approach the new year. Now as I said this time of year is about families coming together and yes we will see that but the getting along part isn't so predictable.

Now when I say family you may think of relatives, of brothers, sisters, parents, people like that but it just so happens this year my family will be PCW. As we march into battle against WPW however there will be no good will to all men because it all depends on this. Yes we will stand strong and be a family but Christmas or not on January 3rd we shall do what has to be done to bring happiness to our family.

Andrew smiles before walking forwards and taking a seat in his large armchair by the fire. He then takes a sip of his red wine and gulps it down before continuing.

Andrew: Now like I said PCW is a family but within a family you will always have rivals, whether it be brothers fighting over who won the Christmas games, or sisters fighting over who gets which make-up set. It just so happens that their is such a rivalry between myself and Gerard Carson. Now Gerard within this family I look at you as a brother and I respect you. Truth be told I have followed in your footsteps in a way to get where I am today but the fact of the matter is that on January 3rd we will be in the ring together and it will be everyman for himself. Now as far as I am concerned PCW has this one because honestly MVP and Adams do not stand a chance so the only thing that is left to be settled is who will walk away with the unified title. Now Gerard like I said I respect you and I know you have a great passion to hold onto what you have achieved but like you said it is time for me to move up in the world and that title, it's the next step up the ladder.

Andrew smiles and takes another sip of his wine before going on.

Andrew: Now don't get me wrong this will be a tough step to overcome but this time all my attention is focused on it. This won't be like the last time we met Gerard because Aurora is fighting fit this time and she won't be a distraction.

Andrew stops and turns to his side and a beautiful blonde woman walks over to him and sits down on his lap. Aurora Callisto is back.

Andrew: It took the best damn doctors in the world to heal my beautiful girlfriend here but it was all worth it.

Aurora kisses Andrew passionately on the lips before turning to the camera. Andrew sits there with a huge grin on his face.

Aurora: When Worlds Collide may be about PCW vs. WPW but in all honesty this match won't mean a thing to that. No matter what PCW is going over in this match but what matters is whether it is Andrew Xavier or Gerard Carson walking back into PCW as the IOW/Florida State Champion. But with me by his side, and all the intensity, and power this man brings to the ring it looks more than likely that 2007 will be the year of the "New Age"!

They both begin to laugh loudly then Andrew looks deep into the camera with a wide grin. He speaks in a cocky tone.

Andrew: Merry Christmas.... And a happy New Year!

The cameras fade to black as they continue to sit on the armchair laughing.

OOC: For those of you unaware Aurora is Andrew Xavier manager. Last time Xavier faced Carson she was in a car accident and it distracted Andrew from the match so I thought I would bring that in.

Scene opens as we see Mykal Adams, and an unknown female, standing in a line. As the camera pans out, we see that we are at a venue that is hosting some sort of an event. The camera then spies the billboard, with an electronic tron on it advertising the event that is taking place. Three letters appear on the tron....PCW......and it is apparent that Mykal is about to become a spectator at a PCW house show. As the camera focuses back onto Mykal, we see that he is handing two tickets to the attendant. Security quickly recognizes Mykal, and as such they approach the Ladies Man

Security Guard #1: You are Mykal Adams...of WPW....correct?

Mykal: (looks security over) Just chill out boys. I know what you are thinking. You think I am here to cause trouble due to the ongoing feud between my company and PCW. Well, relax my friends. I am here merely as a spectator. I bought and paid for these two tickets here (shows the security guards his tickets) so that I could take in a PCW event. There is no law that says I can't come here and watch PCW. Is there?

Security Guard #1: (Deep sigh) No. There isn't. But you have to understand that we have been given strict orders to not allow anyone affiliated with WPW into the building. But, in this case.......

Security Guard #2: (Shocked) You mean to tell me we are going to let this guy in? Hey man, we have orders from the boss.

Security Guard #!: I know we do. But Mr. Adams here has a legal right to be here, and we cannot stop him from entering. I will notify the boss. He will just have to accept it. (Looks at Mykal) But know that we will be keeping a close eye on you sir. (Steps aside) You may enter.

Mykal: Watch me all you want. I am here to enjoy the show. Paid good money for these tickets. I mean, sitting on the front row for a PCW house show cost some bucks. But, I think it will be worth it. (Looks at his date) Come on sweetie. Let's go.

Mykal and his date enter the building. We here security informing Mr. O'Donnell that Mykal Adams is in the building, and he entered in such a way that they could not bar him from entering. Mykal and his date take there seats...right in the front row at ringside. It doesn't take long for the fans to recognize Mykal. We get mixed reactions to his presence. Some are cheering him, with a loud "WPW" chant starting up. Some are jeering him, wondering why he is there at a PCW show. Even the ones that jeer him have to admire the balls it takes to walk into a PCW house show as a spectator. Mykal chose to show up. He wasn't forced into it. The show starts and Mykal is taking all the action in. He is interacting with the fans that are sitting beside him during the first couple of matches. He seems to be enjoying himself. During breaks, the "WPW" chant starts up and then dies down once another match begines. But then out comes Andrew Xavier for his one on one match with some jobber that the PCW brass is feeding him. Once Andrew sees Mykal, his facial expression says it all. Andrew is not pleased to see Mykal at a PCW show. Nor is he happy that Mykal is sitting on the front row. Mykal smiles at Andrew, and sits back and takes in Xavier's match. It is nothing to write home about. Andrew wins the match within five minutes. Once he exits the ring, Andrew walks over towards Mykal and starts to talk smack. The fans get excited, thinking that Myakl and Andrew will throw down. But it doesn't happen as Mykal, true to his word, just sits there and does not do anything. Security comes down and quickly escorts Andrew away from ringside. A couple matches later, Gerard Carson comes out for his match. Again, as with Xavier, Carson is none too pleased that Mykal is there. But unlike Xavier, once Carson wins his match, he does not go out to get in Mykal's face. He and Mykal lock eyes for a twenty second staredown but that is it. Carson walks away. As the show ends, and Mykal is leaving, he is swarmed by dozens upon dozens of fans wanting his autograph. Mykal spends about thrity minutes signing these. As he is doing so, both Carson and Xavier see him doing it. Whether or not it bothers them we will never know. But you have to imagine that it does....just a little bit. Afterwards, Mykal takes his date home and then heads to his house. The camera fades out and then fades back in as we see Mykal sitting in his study. Mykal sees the camera and prepares to speak.

Mykal: Research. It is what you do when you are preparing to write a book report. Or you are looking into acquiring property, or a company, or even when you buy a new car. You research those things cause you want to know all there is to know about those particular things you are interested in. And that is what I have been doing over the past couple of weeks. Research......research......research! Tons of it. So much that I am about sick and tired of doing it. But, I know it is something that had to be done. Given the state of my current situation, it was mandatory that I do it. Of course, I am sure all of you can gather what it is I have been researching. I mean, you would have to be living under a rock to not know that WPW is feuding with PCW. That's right. Two rival companies within the sports entertainment realm are duking it out. But wait! This isn't a normal fight. Oh, no, no! This is a fight for survival. A fight that will see the end of one company come January 3, 2007. PCW vs. WPW. When Worlds Collide. An aptly named PPV I must admit. And yours truly will be a part of it in a match that will unify not one, not two.....but three titles! To say that I am both excited about this, and a bit nervous, would be an understatement. But before I talk about the match I am involved in, I wanted to talk about some of the interesting things I have found out about PCW.

Mykal take a moment and looks over some of the notes he has written down in a notebook. He then continues.

Mykal: PCW used to be a profitable company. Heck. They were the top dog in our industry. They have sold out many, many major venues across the country. PCW had a lot of top names in the industry on the roster, at one point or another. You do the research and you will see just how "big" PCW was. So, the question is, what happened? Seriously. If PCW were still doing the kind of business that they used to do, then there is no way they would let a "smaller" company, which is what WPW is, cause them any headaches. And yet, here we are, days away from the possibility of PCW shutting down for good. So, what happened? Well, from the research I have gathered, it appears to me that PCW imploded. Politics took over, ego's started to swell, talent was demanding more and more money when they might not have been worth "high dollars". Basically, it appears to me that PCW went down the same path that WCW did. If you look at WPW's roster, you will see former PCW stars that are now on the WPW payroll. One, JMC, Scorch, my "good friend" Jamie Parker...the list goes on and on. And, hearing the comments from those guys, PCW did, in fact, implode. You saw me at the PCW house show tonight, in an arena that seats at least....at least fifteen thousand. I would wager that the place was not even close to half full. But, nonetheless, PCW is still operating, albeit it seems to be on its' last leg. Which, if you think about it, is really sad. Like I said, PCW used to be a great company. But, the key words in that last statement is "used to be". To put it bluntly, PCW is a shell of its' former self. I'm not saying that the talent who are represnting her are, cause Lord knows PCW does have talent. But it is the "behind the scenes" stuff that has crippled that federation. Now, I am only going by the research I have done. I was never an employee of PCW. But when you hear guys back up the "rumors" that have run wild on the net (in regards to the politicalness of PCW) you start to get the impression that there is truth to those rumors. In any case, now we find ourselves at this point. WPW has made the challenge, and PCW, fearing a company that, although it does not have the funding PCW does, is a major threat to it. PCW wants to end WPW. They want to claim they are the best. But come January 3, they will see that it is WPW that is not only the present, but is the future of this business. My part in this battle comes in the guise of a fatal four way match. I, Mykal Adams, put my Florida State title on the line against Gerard Carson, who will put both of his titles (IOW and God of Live) up in this match as well. And then we have Andrew Xavier and MVP joining us in what will be a match that will steal the show.

Mykal then flips a page and glances over some more of his notes that he jotted down. He looks back up into the camera and continues to speak.

Mykal: Carson. To hold two titles is quite an accomplishment. I cannot deny that. From what I have gathered, you do not lack confidence. Now, I saw your promo, and I heard your sad story. Now, going through crap like that either makes a man stronger or it kills him. Well, obviously it has made you stronger. You and I do have alot in common. See, like you, I have a past that haunts me. The only time I feel free from it is when I am inside a wrestling ring. Wonder if you are the same in that aspect? Hmmm. Well, maybe one day I will ask. Anyways, you stated that you did not see any fear in my eyes. Well, being honest here, I do fear losing. But because I am confident in what I do inside the ring I never feel that I will lose a match. Call me an arrogant prick all you want, but it is the truth. That is what you saw Carson. I am a man who knows what has to be done. See, I had to beat Scorch and Jamie Parker in a triple threat match just to earn the opportunity to face Nick Comoroto for the Florida State title. Heck, back a month and I had to win two qualifying matches just to get into that triple threat match with Scorch and Parker. See Carson, I do not lack any confidence whatsoever. Hell, from what I have gathered, neither do you, or Xavier or MVP. All of us feel good about our chances of winning at WWC. Right now, nobody can predict who will win this match. It is dead even. But Carson, you have to put up both of your titles against a man you know well (Xavier), a man you faced once (MVP, and a current Cahmpion with whom you have never faced (Me). Some might say I an underdog in this match, cause this will be the first time I will have faced any of you three. But Carson, how does it feel to know that you could lose both your belts without being pinned? How does it feel that you could lose both your "babies" to a WPW Superstar? I know that I am not wild about losing my title. The thought of me losing it without being pinned makes me sick. But, with the type of match we are in, that is how it is, so I must deal with it. But can you deal with it Carson?

Mykal sits back and continues.

Mykal: Andrew Xavier has been active inside a WPW ring the past couple of weeks. Talented as he may be, I have a little beef with him. See Xavier, you seem to think of WPW as "smalltime". Now, maybe that has to do with the fact you have an ego the size of a hot air balloon. Maybe it has to do with the fact that you look at WPW and, knowing that we do things right here, you try to anything you can to put it down. Fact is Xavier, if there is one person that I think does not deserve to be in this match, it is you. Might be that I just don't like you. Or.....or.....it could be that you come off as one of those types of people who think they are "legends in there own minds" and feel they deserve to be a main eventer...no questions asked. Come WWC, you will find out that I am not one to dismiss. Go ahead. Keep on doing so. See (points to notebook) I know about you Andrew. You are a former Hardcore champion, and you want more. I understand this desire, cause I too want to be the top man in this business. But unlike you, I earn what I get. You show up and think you are the best thing since sliced bread, and then management was kind enough to put you in this match. My advice to you would be to be thankful. Hell. Get on you knees and thank the wrestling God's for bestowing this match upon you. If I were you, I wouldn't only focus on Carson. You two might know one another, but Mykal Adams is not a "paper" Champion. I am the real deal, Xavier. If you don't realize that right now, come WWC you will. But by then, it will be too late for you.

Mykal then closes his notebook and then stands. He walks to where he can sit on the front, right side of his desk as he continues.

Mykal: And last, but certainly not least, there is my fellow WPW co-hort, MVP. Gerard, you asked if MVP had a right ot be in this contest. Well, considering past events, I can answer this question. Yes! He does. Some people feel that it should have been me facing MVP a couple weeks back for the Florida title. Didn't happen that way. But, MVP will get his shot to reclaiming a title that he once held. MVP, much like Carson and Xavier, you are talented. I will not deny any of you three this. But, respect that as much as I do, this match is all about winning. And only one of us can walk away as a "unified" Champion. So, while we represent the same company MVP, we are still enemies when that bell sounds. You know it and I know it. I look forward to finally facing you, should it come down to the two of us in the ring. I suspect that, inevitably, it will. And I will be ready for it.

Mykal then cracks a smile and concludes his promo.

Mykal: Gentlemen. The stage is set. The participants have been named. Three titles are on the line at one of the biggest PPV's in wrestling history. One federation will shut down. But in our match, one man will become a bona fide mega star. The man who walks out of WWC with the Florida, IOW and God of Live titles will make history. And I intend to be that man. I am on a path towards my destiny. This fatal four way is a match that will get me closer to my goal. I will not let MVP, Carson or Xavier stand in my way of that. The time for talking is over with boys. Time for action. Time for me to make history at WWC.....and I will. And you can take that to the bank....BABY!

Scene Ends.

The scene opens up, and you see a familar location. MVP's porch. This area has not been seen in months, and you see the green carpet and stove-island again. MVP is on one side of the island, leaning on it, while the camera is on another. Directly behind MVP is a door that leads outside, and a window. MVP is wearing a plane white shirt. He seems to have had a fresh hair cut.

MVP: Merry Christmas to MVP. I've actually had a few nice holidays the past two years. Last year I moved into my new home on December 23, and this year I move back home with my wife. What's gonna happen next year? Well Ill wait and see. But, the reason you haven't heard from ol' MVP latly is because me and my wife Julie were catching up, among "other things". But, I don't want to make anyone jealous, so I won't go into any further detail. But, we were celebrating the holidays just like all of you, so we didn't get around into appearing on national TV to talk about my upcoming match at When Worlds Collide. So, just two days before my birthday, I will promote myself.
Being a WPW man, with a WPW heart, and a man willing to put what he has on the line for WPW, it is hard for me to not segregate the four men in this match. I can't lump them together and say this is four men, because its not. What this match is is WPW vs. PCW. People can try to twist that and call it what they want, and they can treat all four men as individules, but they are only fooling themselves. This match is every man for themselves, no doubt, but what it is is Mykal Adams and MVP representing WPW and Andrew Xavior and Gerald Carson representing PCW. But also what it is is Mykal Adams vs. MVP vs. Gerald Carson vs. Andrew Xavior with the winner protecting his company and winning two wrestling championships, the IOW and Florida State. So your fighting for your company and fighting yourself.

MVP turns arounda and opens the door and points to it.

MVP: This, for all intents and purposes, is a curtain. A curtain at When World's Collide, which divides two worlds. The safty of my dressing room, into where I put my life on the line inside a ring. This portal, once crossed, you can never go back unless you carry the pride of a victory. If you lose, the portal says "Get the fuck back there and win a match" in a Dave Chapelle voice. Losing a match is one of the hardest things to swallow, because you are infront of thousands of people at any given time. All laughing at you, and saying "what a worthless piece of shit, he can't even win this match" But also one of the hardest things to do, is get up after a loss.

MVP closes the door and goes back to leaning on the island.

MVP: When I walked into WPW Headquarters on day 1, people thought of MVP as a jobber, as a worthless piece of shit. 2 months later I'm holding a company up, with JMC helping out. Here comes a man who hasn't wrestled professionaly in his life, all he did was go to wrestling school for 3 years and was number 1 in his class. He comes in, no resume aside from being number 1 in a 8 kid class in Allentown, PA, the world infront of him trying to hold him back. All the man does is keep his chest held high, keeps moving his feet, and splits the world in half, not even slowing down.
The world catches up with him a month after that, and stands in front of him. But the man made the mistake of putting his head down and relaxing his muscles this time, which makes the world stay infront of him, while he makes no progress. He keeps trying to walk, but its like a treadmill, because he's not going anywhere. Finally the man looks up and sees his dignity hanging in the balance, he sees When Worlds Collide. This is where his career is either over, or has a new beginning. A win puts his career back on track, and he is one of the top performers in the locker room again. A loss, and his wrestling career as he knows it is over, and he turns into the new Val Venis after only 5 months.

MVP claps his hands like he's closing a book at the climax.

MVP: History will be written 3 days after my birthday. Happy birthday to MVP.

Just then Matt comes running in the door dressed like the wrestler in Billy Madison and has a microphone.

Matt: Do you smell what Matt is cookin, brother! Word Life, Suckaaaaa! Oooo Yeaaa.

MVP: Go away.

Matt does not leave instead he walks around the porch holding his arm up. He jumps on the table on the other end of the porch and does the Shawn Michaels stretch where he sticks one leg out straight and flexes his muscles. MVP then gets in front of the camera.

MVP: Youll have to excuse my cousin. He's not on drugs, he...yeah.

MVP walks back to where he was standing.

MVP: Anyway, at When Worlds Collide, get the very unpleasant task of fighting two people whom I have never seen before. Yes, I faced Andrew Xavior, but I wasn't there that night, my mind wasn't on the match and I was sick. So I didn't get a feel for the match. And the worse part is, I can't find any old PCW tapes because all the video stores don't sell PCW tapes because they didn't sell well enough. I actually asked how many were sold, and the guy just started laughing. So I don't even get to research my two PCW opponents. But Mykal Adams, he's a guy I have full access to. Working for WPW I get the free videos, but I have also seen him live. So I can't say shit about Andrew Xavior or Gerald Carson, because if I tried to say how I am going to fight them Id be talking out my ass, because I don't know anything about them. I couldn't even tell you if either one was a high flyer or smaller version of Big Show.

Now Julie decides to walk in, and you see her wearing a tight, lime green green, T-Shirt, but not so tight as a slut, and jeans, normal female jeans.

Julie: Are you done yet?

MVP: Ahhhh, my beautiful wife Julie, who will be there for me today, tomorrow, my birthday when we go to the Eagles game, even January 3, 2007.

Julie: What's on January 3?

MVP: What! Did I forget to tell you that while you were drunk last night you agreed the be at When Worlds Collide? Oops!

Julie: Are you fucking crazy?! I finally come back to you, and what do you do, go behind my back again.

MVP: All in good fun, my dear.

Julie: Go die, your sleeping on the couch tonight, Matt gets your spot on the bed.

MVP: Iight, so long as he doesn't get my other spot in bed.

Julie just looks at him with that threatening stare that wives give and walks off, bringing Matt with her.

MVP: Well then. Don't worry Dave, she will be there.

You hear the cameraman laugh.

MVP: I just want to leave you with one thought. When Worlds Collide, a Pay Per View like no other, there will be 4 men, every man for himself, but it will also be a team match, WPW vs. PCW. Because no matter how you want to put it, PCW cannot compare with WPW. You can take that how you want, with WPW being better and PCW not comparing, or PCW being so far ahead that they can't compare. But either way, WPW sticks together, until it comes down to who gets the gold. Because I promise this match will not be Mykal Adams and MVP vs. Carson and Xavior, meaning it will not be a tag team match, but one man wont let his company lose, but he is representing his own company.

The scene opens within a pub where a New Years celebration is taking place. The pub is packed full of people, some already drunk, some waiting to get drunk after midnight, while others aren’t drinking but are still having fun either way. The camera pans around to a corner where it moves over to this corner and zooms in to show the Carson siblings sitting in the corner of the pub on cushioned chairs, both quiet as Gerard is drinking a bottle of WKD as Amy sits silently. Gerard puts the bottle down on the table in-front of him as he turns to his sister.

Gerard: You having a good time sis?

Amy: It’s only new year, nothing special, just another year ending, another beginning, on a constant cycle that it always is…I still don’t know why you dragged me here!

Gerard: Lighten up Amy! Just take this time to relax and enjoy yourself, hell, that’s what I’m doing since I’ve been training hard all this week.

Amy: Yes, I’ve noticed you, the way you’ve been working on that punch bag, it’s almost like you’ve been eyeing that bag as one of your opponents, the amount of focus you’ve been putting into it, it’s like you’ve taken what each man had to say back to you and used that to help motivate you.

Gerard: Yeah, I’ve been feeling pretty confident in my training over the past week.

Amy: (slightly perplexed) So…you’re not at all put off by what any of your opponents have had to say?

Gerard: No, not really…

Amy: While you're here resting and celebrating an overrated cause when you could be further training, you do realise that this is one of the biggest matches of your career don't you? Why don't your opponents words even worry you in the slightest?

Gerard: Well, before you continue to wrongly criticize my need for a break just for one night, I'll tell you why Amy! Let’s start off with one of the opponents, MVP…I don’t know about you Amy, but MVP just isn’t convincing me at all that he will be the one to walk out of When Worlds Collide as the IOW and Florida State Champion, he can’t even say my fucking name right!

Amy: Are you sure it’s not just mind games?

Gerard: I’m not exactly sure what it is, but it sure as hell is stupid! You know, maybe it’s worth mentioning something to this idiot, since there’s a camera here and all, because if he wants to keep calling me Gerald, he can go ahead and call me Gerald, because he’s the one who’s gonna look like an ass to everyone when he can’t keep up with the rest of us in the Fatal 4 Way match, especially since he comes up with some lame-ass excuse that he can’t find any of Andrew Xavier's or my PCW matches in store because no shop apparently sells them so he can’t talk shit about either of us…Or, if we cut all the bullshit out, I’ll tell you the reason why, hell, if Mykal Adams could do research, then why couldn’t MVP? I guess the truth is that MVP knows that he has no chance against two of PCW’s finest, so he just pretends that he can’t get footage of PCW matches with Andrew Xavier and myself and he doesn’t even address our promos? I guess he really is scared…

Amy: Well, I suppose you make a good point in a way, but he is a former Florida State Champion, so he must be a good athlete to have possessed that championship belt.

Gerard: Maybe, but his recent promo just didn’t convince me that he has a chance in hell in this match, and he may be watching this saying that I’m wrong, but I’ll tell him why myself…(turns to face the camera)…MVP, you may say that we’re all looking at the match the wrong way in your world, but if anything, you’re the one making the big mistake by thinking more of representing your company, so let me make this clear to you that it’s every…man…for…himself! That’s all it’s gonna be, Mykal Adams isn’t going to have your back because you’re both part of WPW, he has his pride to defend just as I have mine to defend. No man apart from you in this match is going to think of their respective company for a second when there’s a much bigger prize at stake for the four of us in this match. Also, you may think that PCW does not compare with WPW, and in parts, you are correct, most of WPW’s roster is superior to PCW, however, you seem to think that when you say that PCW does not compare with WPW, you automatically assume that everyone on the PCW roster is inferior to the WPW roster…that is were you are misguided. I suggest you work a bit harder on your research like Adams did instead of looking around in some cheap video-rental store that probably doesn’t even know what ‘Wrestling DVDs’ are, because if you saw any of mine or Xavier’s matches, you’d realise the simple truth, the truth that this match ain’t gonna be no walk in the park for any of us, and if you don’t get that into your head now, then God help you in the Fatal 4 Way match when you’re the one who gets your ass handed to you.

Gerard turns to face his sister again, who looks slightly surprised at how serious her brother sounded when addressing MVP.

Gerard: Okay, is that good enough for you Amy?

Amy: Well, sort of Gerard, but I really think that however much you’ve made your message pretty clear that you’re ready for this match and ready to obtain the Florida State title alongside your IOW and God of Live title both now and before to your opponents, apart from MVP, for whom you’ve stated your case against clearly, your other opponents are definitely going to be tough to overcome, especially Andrew Xavier. He made it clear that he holds a great deal of respect for you brother, and that must mean something to you?

Gerard: Of course it does, Andrew and I get on well backstage at PCW and we both hold a certain respect for each other, like brothers as he said. After our rivalry came to an end in the God of Live title match a few months ago, there’s been no hard feelings between us and we’ve been good friends, although we both always knew that someday we would face off again in the ring…

Amy: That day is coming sooner than you think Gerard, you are aware that Aurora is healed from her injuries and what momentum that gives Andrew don’t you?

Gerard: I’m aware of that Amy, hell, I know how worried Andrew was about that situation with Aurora during the build up to the God of Live title match, it’s a horrible position to be in, and that was what put him off the match and may have cost him his chance at becoming PCW’s first ever dual champion with the God of Live title alongside the Hardcore title. If he were more focused that week, he may have very well beaten JMC and myself for the God of Live title, but now that Aurora is healed from her injury, a weight is lifted from Andrew and he can now put all of his focus into this title match, and this time, unlike the God of Live title match, he’s going to be a much bigger threat walking into When Worlds Collide…

Amy: And this doesn’t worry you one bit?

Gerard: No Amy, it doesn’t worry me, and I’ll tell you why, because although yes, Andrew may be more focused this time around, it still doesn’t make up for the fact that he has yet to defeat me in a match. This is a positive thought for me in having Andrew as an opponent going into this title match, because I’ll know that I have the power to beat him since I have done it before, and he even said himself, I have a great passion to hold onto my title, and unlike the God of Live title, the IOW title and Florida State title hold more prestige, and when I have to put the more prestigious title on the line, that means that my heart and soul going into this match is going to be greater than what Andrew experienced in the God of Live title match...(turns to face the camera)...Andrew, both our games may be upped going into this match, and you may believe that you have the greater advantage, but what you’re going to realise is that when it comes down to putting my pride on the line, Gerard Carson is a man that cannot be taken down easily, and however much I respect you, this respect won’t matter when that bell rings and it’s time to get down to serious business. You’re going to see a completely different side to me at When Worlds Collide Andrew, a side that you won’t have seen backstage, a side of me that, friend or foe, won’t give a damn about what he has to do to keep his pride, and this side of me that you will witness, won’t fall to anyone. Remember that Andrew, remember it well as you count down the days to When Worlds Collide and you meet your biggest challenge in Gerard Carson yet…

Gerard turns to face Amy again, who looks even more surprised that even in a party, her brother can become more serious than she’d ever know, as she looks up at her brother to mention the final name that her brother still has to address.

Amy: Well…there’s still the challenge in Mykal Adams, a man who recently made it clear that just like you, he doesn’t want to lose his pride, and it makes one wonder, who has the greater desire to hold onto their gold? Also, what do you have to say back to him Gerard?

Gerard: Well, I was beginning to doubt him for a moment, until he finally spoke. I wondered why he was sitting in the ringside seats at that PCW house show and just what the hell he was doing there, but I guess that question has been answered now, and I now know that Mykal Adams is certainly going to be a bigger challenge than I thought in this match...(turns to face the camera again)...Adams, you and I have more in common than I thought, even though you have only held that Florida State Title only a few weeks now, you are already making it clear that you are a fighting champion, and that is the way you want to stay, just like I do. Going into this match as champions, we both have more to lose than MVP and Xavier do and we also both hold a fear of losing our titles in this match, and it’d be a bitch to lose our gold in an unfair way of not being pinned, but unfortunately, that is something that we are both going to have to deal with in this match. Like you also, the thought of losing my pride is one that I don’t feel that much because I am confident of myself in the ring, so no, I do not think of you as an ‘arrogant prick’ or anything bad of you, because we are similar people Mykal Adams, and this is why I view you as a challenge that could very well be one of my greatest to date. Throughout my time in PCW, I have faced many challenges in the superstars there, and many of these I have managed to overcome, ranging from the current PCW Champion in the Dream to ex-PCW Champion Mike Adams to even your WPW Champion James Moriarty Cassius in which I won the God of Live title that I possess today. Also, in that very same match, I overcame the challenge in Andrew Xavier to become the first-ever dual champion in PCW history, and recently, I defeated MVP in a tag team match alongside his partner Jesse Long. So, I know that two of the men in this match are beatable, but there is you Mykal Adams, who I have never faced, and I wonder how much of a challenge you will bring, I have scouted your matches, like I have done with many of my unknown challenges in the past, and many of them have fallen to me. Mykal, however much of a challenge you are, that doesn’t scare me, I’m ready to take you down, just like I’m ready to take down the other men in this match, and I’m ready to retain my honour and pride and continue to show the world just what Gerard Carson is made of, even if that means taking the very title you have only just won away from you. I have a goal Adams, a goal to win this match, and I’m not going to let anything get in the way of that goal, even if I do have some respect for you, there is a much bigger prize at stake for me to be thinking about more than worrying about losing respect…

As Gerard finishes, he sits back on the chair as he looks at Amy once more.

Gerard: Is that convincing enough Amy? Do you still think that I should be training instead of coming to this party tonight to rest and refresh my mind before going into one of the biggest matches of my career?

Amy: (nods) That’s fine Gerard, I was just worried that you were taking advantage of this match by not saying anything back to your opponents, but now you have, and I guess you do need to take a break from your training to refresh your mind and re-focus your energy.

Gerard: Exactly! But just as it’s important for me to have a break, you need to relax too! Come on, have some fun for once in your life Amy!

Amy: Okay, I will! But first, I’m just going to get a drink from the bar.

Gerard: I’ll meet you over there in a minute, I’ve just got some last bit of business to take care of first.

Amy nods as she stands up from her seat as she turns to face her brother once more.

Amy: Remember, as you said, 2007 will be the year that Gerard Carson becomes one of the most dominant stars in professional wrestling today, let us celebrate that if anything this night, and most importantly…you keep that promise brother…

Gerard: Don’t worry Amy, I will…

As Amy leaves, Gerard turns to face the camera, looking serious once again to finish addressing all three of his opponents.

Gerard: In a few days, at When Worlds Collide, history will be made, one company will fall while one moves up further in the professional wrestling world, but history will not be made just for that company, but also for the wrestlers, especially in this of all of the matches taking place at When Worlds Collide. The man who wins this match will make history and will rise to become a star, a man who will be recognized as a wrestling legend in the making, I intend to be that man. At When Worlds Collide, MVP, Andrew Xavier, Mykal Adams, get ready to experience a more powerful and intense side of Gerard Carson that you could never imagine! I have a goal in mind, to maintain my pride in my titles and to take down anyone that threatens to take this pride away from me…

The countdown to New Year is suddenly heard as the people in the pub chant along, while Gerard just merely smirks as he sits and waits for the countdown to 2007 to reach zero.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The room erupts in celebrations and loud cheers as everyone within the pub starts buzzing happily, while Gerard stays seated and simply raises his glass, smirking at the camera.

Gerard: Happy New Year! Get ready, because the year of Gerard Carson’s domination begins now, and until we all meet When Worlds Collide, this has been the IOW Champion, God of Live and soon to be Florida State Champion speaking…at When Worlds Collide, be ready for your Carsonations…

Gerard drinks the last few drops of his bottle of WKD as he stands up and walks to celebrate the New Year with everyone else in the pub. The camera turns to witness the party only starting as Queen’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ erupts over the speakers as Gerard disappears into the crowd of partying people to go and meet Amy as the camera fades out.

End Scene.
