Nathan: Good evening guys and gals and welcome to Tuesday Night Turmoil, coming to you live from Allen D. Nease High School, right here in Augustine, Florida! This particular venue holds many memories for one of our superstars, as this is the place where he got his education. Can Jesse Long make a successful return by dethroning JMC in a WPW’s first ever ladder match later on this evening?

Daniel: Well, Jesse may have been taught about algebra and Shakespeare here, but he did his real learning in the much tougher environment of a wrestling ring. This match was made for him, and out of nowhere, Jesse Long is going to be our next WPW champion.

Nathan: Also coming up tonight, we’ll determine new number one contenders for the tag team titles. Daisuke Ryo will try to follow up his win over Dust by defeating Brock Goodman, The One issues an open challenge and Jamie Parker teams with Mykal Adams to take on The Stallion and Mike Corral.

Daniel: Enough with the lip flapping, Dan, lets get down to some action!

Nathan: Well, it looks like we’re about ready for or first of two matches tonight o determine who the final two competitors will be in the second round of the Florida State Title Number One Contender’s Tournament.

No sooner has Daniel started speaking than Disturbed’s “stricken” hits the speakers and none other than Dan Murph appears from the behind the curtain. He makes his way to the ring with a slow, determined pace. Once there, he uses the ring steps to climb onto the apron and steps over the ropes.

Mina: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a first round bout in the Florida State title number one contender’s tournament. Introducing first, from Waterford, Ireland, and weighing in at 344lbs, Dan Murph!

Daniel: Murph is the first of Carlos’s goons to be in action here tonight in this tournament. With the run of form Murph has been in recently, it’s hard to imagine him not getting the win.

Its almost uncanny that as soon as Daniel stops speaking again, the second entrance song starts playing. Wait and Bleed fills the gymnasium to announce the arrival of Justin Dreamer. Halfway down the ramp, he stops and runs back to the curtain. A few seconds later, he re-emerges with the bag he was seen carrying at the airport. He leaves the bag halfway up the ramp and continues his journey to the ring,

Mina: His opponent, from Los Angeles, California, and weighing in at 232lbs, he is the “Hardcore Legend,” Justin Dreamer.

Max: What is this idiot doing? This isn’t a hardcore match; he can’t just bring a bag of “toys” to ringside.

Daniel: Maybe Dreamer is playing mind games with Murph after Murph’s comments about Dreamer bringing all the toys he wanted.

Max: Well, with the state Justin’s head has been in these past few weeks, I doubt he’s in a position to be trying to play mind games with anyone else. One minute he’s quitting, the next he comes crawling back with his tail between his legs, saying he made a mistake.

Daniel: Well, we’ll soon find out whether he really is up for this challenge. This isn’t going to be a pretty match, folks! Don’t be expecting too many technical moves and counters, this one has brawl written all over it. It’s just a matter of who can take and inflict the most pain

Well: Dan Murph is 6’8 and nearly 350lbs, compared to Dreamer’s 6’5 and 230lbs. You tell me who’s going to win, cos those stats speak for themselves.

As Dreamer enters the ring, Dan indicates that he wants the ref to search Dreamer for hidden weapons. The ref duly obliges, patting down Dreamer and feeling his boots to make sure they don’t contain anything they shouldn’t. The ref signals that he is clean and motions to the timekeeper at ringside. The bell rings and it appears Daniel is wrong as the two men start the match with a collar and elbow tie-up. Murph uses his strength to force Dreamer to one knee, but its Murph who finds himself on his ass after a hiptoss from Dreamer. Murph is straight back to his feet and almost takes Dreamer’s head off with a short clothesline. Dreamer barely touches the mat before bouncing back up. Murph grabs the wrist of Dreamer and whips him across the ring to the ropes. As Dreamer comes back off the ropes, Murph tries for the big boot, ducked by Dreamer, who comes off the ropes the far side and flies through the air with a flying clothesline. Murph stays on his feet after the blow and Dreamer is shocked as he gets to his feet. He comes off the ropes again, with a second flying clothesline, he again connects. Murph stumbles, but again doesn’t fall. Incredulous, Dreamer goes for a third flying clothesline, but this time Murph catches him in mid-air and slams him to the mat.

Daniel: Dreamer got a bit of a shock there as he tried to take Murph down, but he bounced off Murph like a fly.

Max: What did I tell you? There’s no way Justin Dreamer can beat Dan Murph. He’s too big and too damn vicious.

Daniel: Well, size isn’t everything! I’m sure Dreamer won’t be handicapped by his lack of size. It’s all about making what you’ve got work for you!

Max: Whatever helps you sleep at night!

Dan follows up the slam with a big leg drop before rolling into a pinfall.

One

Dreamer kicks out. Dan drags Dreamer to his feet and scoops him up for a powerslam, but Dreamer counters with a DDT. Dreamer is quickly to his feet and runs to the ropes, he bounces off them and delivers a baseball slide into the jaw of Murph. He immediately heads up top, and launches off with a diving elbow. Murph regains his wits halfway through Dreamer’s flight and rolls out of the way. Murph hoops to his feet in the same instant that Justin collides with the mat. He drops two elbows into the back of Dreamer before picking him up and delivering a back breaker.

Daniel: Dan Murph appears to be starting to focus on the back of Justin Dreamer. Perhaps he’s looking to soften his resistance in preparation for the Cobra Clutch.

Max: Well, Murph did say he was going to make Dreamer tap. What was it he called him? Just another victim?

Daniel: Well, we all know that’s just another generic thing that these wrestlers like to say. Kind of like how you come out here and repeat the same old shit every week and still get a paycheck.

Max: I get paid for my unique, insightful look at the action as it happens.

Daniel: You get paid to clean Mr Gonzalez’ ass with your tongue.

Murph picks Dreamer up and Irish whips him hard into the corner, before following up with a splash. Dreamer drops to the mat and Dan uses his boot to choke him. The ref tells Murph to break the hold and when he doesn’t, starts a five count. Dan removes his boot after four, saving himself from a disqualification. He lifts Dreamer and snapmares him back towards the middle of the ring. Dan reverts to his powerhouse self with a big spinebuster in the middle of the ring. He hooks the leg

One

Th.. Dreamer gets the shoulder up. Dan lifts Dreamer to his feet and Irish whips him towards the ropes. He tries again for the big boot, but again Dreamer ducks under it. Dreamer drops to the mat and slides out of the ring. Dan roars at him to get back inside the ropes as Dreamer walks up the ramp.

Max: That’s it. The pussy is walking out again. This guy just cant handle the pressure of hanging with the WPW elite.

Daniel: I don’t think he’s actually leaving. He seems to have stopped beside that bag he brought out earlier.

True enough, Dreamer is bent over the bag he brought with him from the airport. With his back to the ring, he rummages in the bag. After what seems like quite a long time, he comes up with the broken whiskey bottle in his hand. His face bears a sickening grin as he walks back towards ringside. As he climbs onto the apron, the referee rushes to prevent him from taking the bottle into the ring. Dreamer tries to hold onto the bottle, and is so caught up in arguing with the referee, he doesn’t notice that Murph has slid out of the ring. Murph comes up behind Dreamer, and pulls his legs, sending Justin’s jaw crashing into the ring apron. Murph picks Dreamer up and places him on his shoulder, before charging at the ring post with the intention of using Dreamer as a battering ram. At the last second, Dreamer slips down behind Murph and pushes him in the back, forcing a collision between Murph and the steel. Dreamer forces Murph to knees and rams his read into the steel ring steps, all the while ignoring he referees instructions to bring it back inside the ring.

Daniel: Dreamer is bringing this match to his level. He may not have been able to glass Dan Murph, but he’s sure as hell determined to make him bleed.

Max: The man’s an animal. I wish he would actually just pack up his things and leave. At least we’d see the end of these barbaric attacks on innocent WPW superstars

Daniel: I think that’s the first time anyone ahs referred to Dan Murph as innocent. He’s not exactly the picture of kindness and loving.

Max: No, that sounds more like your wife to her "guests" when you’re on the road.

Drop toehold by Dreamer sends Murph’s cranium into the steel barrier and Murph has finally been cut open, with blood seeping from a cut on his forehead. Satisfied that he has done enough damage, Dreamer rolls Murph back into the ring. Dreamer follows Murph in and rolls him away from the ropes, before covering him for a pin.

One

Two

Thr.. Murph gets the shoulder up. Dreamer is somewhat frustrated before he regains his composure and drags Murph to his feet. Kick to the balls by dreamer goes unsighted by the referee. Dreamer bends Murph over and places his head between his legs and lifts him so Murph's legs are on Dreamers shoulders. As he tries to add the finishing touches to “Dream Street,” Dan lifts himself up, so all his weight is on Dreamer’s upper body. This unbalances Dreamer and he falls backward to the mat, with Murph landing on top of him.

One

Tw... Dreamer kicks out.

Max: Who does Dreamer think he is, trying to lock in that “Dream Street” move of his on Dan Murph

Daniel: Well, he IS trying to win this encounter. He needs to get out of that funk he’s been in recently.

From a seating position, Dan wraps his left arm under Dreamers and locks it behind his neck. He brings his free hand round to complete the “Black Death” (cobra clutch). Dreamer thrashes about on the mat, trying to break the hold, but Murph shows no sign of letting it go. As Murph’s blood drips across the shoulders and back of Dreamer, Dreamer tries to force his way backwards towards the ropes. As the two men get closer to the ropes, Dan forces them a few feet back into the middle. From the back, another referee comes running to the ring. Confused by this, Mike Posey turns his attention to the advancing referee. With the refs back turned, Dreamer hitches his knees up and reaches inside his boot. He slips something on his hand and reaches back and punches Murph in the head. Murph immediately collapses to the mat. The second referee motions to Mike Posey that he has come out to collect the broken bottle from ringside. Posey nods and turns back to the action to see Dreamer lying on top of Murph. He slides across the ring to make the count

One

Two

Murph gets his foot on the ropes.

Daniel: What the hell just happened?

Max: Dreamer just laid out Murph with a pair of brass knucks, that’s what happened. The referee was obviously in on it, he was supposed to have searched Dreamer at the start of the match.

Daniel: Wait a sec, wasn’t there a pair of brass knucks in that bag that Dreamer brought with him? He must have slipped them into his bag earlier when he was at the bag. The glass bottle was just a distraction!

Max: I think I may actually be starting to admire Justin Dreamer if that’s the case.

Dreamer is holding his head in disbelief at not getting the win. He throws a tantrum, slamming his hands off the mat. He gets t his feet and stares at Murph’s leg, which is still resting on the bottom rope. He jumps in the air and comes down with all his weight on elevated knee. He follows up with stomps across the knee and climbs to the nearest turnbuckle. He comes off the top, driving a flying elbow into the knee.

Max: Smart work by Dreamer here, taking out the leg of the bigger man and removing most of his arsenal. This guys an intelligent pro.

Daniel: You’ve certainly changed your tune.

Dreamer hoists Dan to his feet, but Dan is having trouble putting weight on the injured leg. Dreamer lets go of Dan, and Murph stands unsteadily of his own accord. Dreamer comes off the ropes and delivers a shoulder block into the injured knee. Dreamer grabs the injured leg, and applies a half Boston crab to it, but Murph uses his good leg to kick him off. Dreamer comes straight back at Murph and forces him to his feet. A knee to the gut bends Murph over and Dreamer hastily shoves Murph's head between his legs. He places one leg in front of Murph's arm, then the other. He lifts off and modifies the Styles Clash into a piledriver.

Daniel: Dreamer just nailed his finishing move, “Dream Street.” We could have our fifth second round competitor in this tournament.

Max: Could? Justin Dreamer is about to beat Dan Murph, despite many people thinking it was impossible

Daniel: People like you?

Max: Shut the fuck up, you fat cunt!

Daniel: Charming!

Dreamer takes just a brief second to showboat for the fans before dropping on top of Murph and hooking his leg.

One

Two

Thre… The crowd and Dreamer are in shock as Murph gets a shoulder up. Dreamer has the typical reaction of blaming the referee and starts screaming in Mike Posey’s face. Posey doesn’t back down and this just seems to infuriate Dreamer even more. He slides from the ring as Murph starts to get to his feet. Dreamer motions to a fan to give him a chair and, hoping for some destruction, the fan duly obliges. Dreamer takes hold of the chair and slides into the ring. The referee tries to disarm him, but Dreamer swings the chair and him and, this time, the ref backs off, but warns Dreamer he will disqualify him if he uses it. Dreamer stands in the corner and measures up Murph as he finally stands. Dreamer charges and swings the chair at the already bloody head of Murph. Murph ducks under it and scoops Dreamer onto his shoulders.

Daniel: We all know what comes next. This is the set up for the “Cyclone (F5)”

Murph rotates Dreamer but his leg gives out and Dreamer lands awkwardly on his head in the ring. Murph shows no remorse or concern as he drops on top of Dreamer.

One

Two

Three!

Max: Dan Murph wins this one, just like I said he would at the very beginning

Daniel: You have got to be kidding me? Just a minute ago you were rooting for Dreamer!

Max: I was just trying to lure him into a false sense of security by letting him think he could win. I was backing Dan Murph all along.

Mina: The winner of this match, and advancing to the second round in the number one contender's tournament for the Florida State title, Dan Murph!

Daniel: Ah, fuck it, I can’t even be bothered arguing with you. Join us again in a few minutes to see the rest of tonight’s action.

As we return from commercial, Dreamer has made his way to the back and is rubbing his head where he was dropped as he sits on a bench in the locker room. He erupts with a sudden outburst of rage and kicks a plastic water bottle across the room, narrowly missing Ben Wyndham, who is just entering the locker room.

Dreamer: What are you doing here? You aren’t booked for tonight

Wyndham shows a quick smirk which Dreamer fails to notice, before a more serious facial expression takes over.

Wyndham: I came to help you in your match.

Dreamer doesn’t realise the irony of the comment, but merely stares at Wyndham with an irritated expression on his face.

Dreamer: It’s already over, and I don’t need your help anyway.

Wyndham: Great, so you won?

Dreamer: No, that prick Murph botched his finisher and nearly broke my neck. I think he did it on purpose, because he knew I would have kicked out of his shitty cyclone.

Wyndham: It hurts, doesn’t it?

Dreamer: Of course it hurts! He could have killed me, the fool!

Wyndham: Actually, I meant getting eliminated from the tournament.

Dreamer: What would you know about it?

Wyndham: I got eliminated last week, remember?

Dreamer: Yeah, but it’s all a big joke to you. You lose and laugh it off. This tournament, this business means more to me than that. I’m in it to win things, to become a champion. You just shake a loss off as if it never even happened. How can you even look at yourself in the mirror with that attitude?

Wyndham: Quite easily, actually! I’ve watched as many men broke themselves taking it too seriously. Seen great brave men crumble under the weight of a few losses, and under the pressure of this business. When I chose this career, I swore I would take a healthy attitude into it, and keep my chin up, regardless of what happened.

Dreamer: Yeah, well you just keep that chin up and watch as every man and his dog steps up to punch you on it. Eventually you’ll learn that to be successful, hell, even to survive as a wrestler, you need to have that aggression, that desire, that little bit extra passion.

Wyndham: and you know all about being successful, do you? It sure as hell isn’t showing at the moment. So don’t you sit there and lecture me on how I should opr shouldn’t behave.

Dreamer gets up from the bench, and takes a step towards Wyndham, but stops well short of him. Instead he makes a jabbing motion with his finger, in the direction of Wyndham

Dreamer: For such a small kid, you’ve sure got a big mouth, you know that. You ought to be careful, cos one of these days someone is going to knock those pearly white teeth out of it.

Wyndham: You’re impossible to talk to when you’ve lost, you know that? When you’ve calmed down, give me a phone, but for now you can sit here and wallow in self-pity all you want, cos I’m out of here

Wyndham turns on his heel and heads for the door. Just before he heads out the door he can be mutters something out of earshot of Dreamer, but which the cameras just about pick up.

Wyndham: Fucking loser!

Dreamer turns back towards the bench, and rips a poster showing correct weight lifting techniques from the wall.

Daniel: Well, further tension there between Dreamer and Wyndham. I though those two were pals?

Max: Well, if you cant let off some steam to your friends, who can you do it to?

Daniel: I suppose. Anyway, coming up now we have a rather intriguing encounter between the former number one contender and a man who beat another former one contender last week on Live!

Max: Speaking of Live, did you see Brock Goodman destroy Unit on this week’s show? Now, that was an impressive way to let off some steam!
Daniel: True, but can he do it twice in one week. Look’s like we’re about to find out.

As the camera returns to ringside, Mina Henderson is standing in the middle of the ring, with a mic in her hand.

Mina: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

“Sweet Dreams” by Marilyn Manson announces the arrival of the former number one contender. His body language shows a man who is both hyped up and pissed off at the same time, if that’s possible. In a change to his normal procedure, Brock removes his hood at the top of the stage and walks down the ramp. After climbing between the ropes into the ring, he hops up and down, readying himself for the match.

Mina: First, from Sin City, weighing in at 295 pounds...Brock Goodman!!

Brock, the crowd, the announcers, and everyone within hearing distance stare in bemusement as a really strange version of The Animals’ “House of the Rising Sun” starts playing. The lyrics are being sung by a Japanese person whose accent is really coming through as they try to cope with the English language. The words have also been altered from the original, replacing House of the rising sun, with Land of the rising sun. Ryo appears on the stage bowing left and right like an idiot, with a big grin across his face. Caroline is walking behind him, and it appears that even she is cringing at this cheesy entrance.

Max: What the hell is that? I think my eardrums might have imploded!

Daniel: I know, it almost makes listening to you every week seem enjoyable.

Mina: And from, Wajima, Japan. Weighing in at 174 pounds...Daisuke Ryo!!!

Daniel: Now this should be an interesting match. Ryo has had an impressive start to his WPW career, already defeating Dust on Live. It should be interesting to see if he can beat another former #1 contender in Brock Goodman.

Max: I know that he’s been impressive so far Danny boy, but what you also have to remember, is that Goodman outweighs this guy by over 100 pounds!!

Ryo climbs up on the turnbuckle and starts playing to the crowd. Goodman runs up behind him and knocks Ryo over the top rope and out to the floor as the crowd start booing loudly and the bell rings to start the match. Goodman follows Ryo to the outside as Ryo is slowly getting up to his feet. Goodman rakes the eyes of Ryo, before grabbing him by the back of the head, and slamming his face against the side of the ring. Goodman turns Ryo around and slams his head off the crowd barrier, sending Ryo down to his knees. Ryo crawls over towards the ring steps slowly, and sits down in front of it to catch is breath. Goodman looks toward Ryo and gets a sadistic smile on his face. Goodman walks away from Ryo, but then all of a sudden he turns around and starts sprinting at him. Goodman runs at Ryo trying to knee him in the face, but Ryo moves out of the way just in time, and Goodman goes crashing into the steel steps knee first.

Max: OUCH!!

Daniel: You can say that again!

Max: Na, that’s ok!

Daniel: Right...anyway, Goodman could have just given Ryo a real opportunity in this match. Ryo now has a body part of Goodman’s to work on.

Goodman is holding his knee, screaming in agony as Ryo is crawling towards the crowd barrier. The referee comes out to check on Goodman. The referee tries to help Goodman up, but he pushes the referee away, and grabs the ring apron and tries to pull himself up. Goodman is slowly getting to his feet, but when he finally does get to his feet his knees collapse under him and he falls back down to the arena floor. Ryo is now back to his feet, but is leaning back on the crowd barrier, while Goodman is once again getting up via the ring apron. Brock struggles slowly but surely to his feet, but, as he does so, Ryo comes running, jumps up onto the steps and hits a flying drop kick sending Goodman down onto his ass.

Max: Damnit Daniel, you see how lucky Ryo has been getting here against Brock??

Daniel: Well I dunno if I'd call it luck Max...

Max: Of course its luck, don't start thinking this little guy is the next Rey Mysterio, he'll still get put to sleep...

Ryo is back to his feet already, and is stalking Goodman, watching and waiting for him to get back to his feet. Goodman holds onto the ring apron and the ringpost, slowly getting to his feet. He finally does get to his feet, but he’s facing away from Ryo. Ryo waits and waits, as a groggy Goodman turns around. Ryo runs at Goodman to hit a clothesline, but Goodman moves out of the way and Ryo goes head first into the ringpost. Goodman, who is now behind Ryo, grabs him and hits a German suplex onto the arena floor. Again Goodman seems to not be able to get up. I guess 295 pounds on one leg just doesn't go....Goodman does eventually make it back to his feet. He grabs Ryo by the head again, and throws him back into the ring. Goodman rolls in after Ryo and makes the cover.

1.....

2.....

Kickout!!

Daniel: I thought that was it, how is Ryo not unconscious??

Max: It’s just instinct. Goodman has him beat, it’s just a matter of time now...

Goodman drags Ryo to his feet by the hair and simply punches him back down to the mat. Again, he lifts Ryo up and punches him down. He picks Ryo up for the third consecutive time, but this time he Irish whips him into a corner. He follows him up with a jumping knee, sending his joint straight into the chin of Ryo. He tosses Ryo into the centre of the ring and calmly walks over after him. He drops to his knees and places his hands on his chest.

One

Two

Daniel: What the hell? Goodman just stopped the pin when he had Ryo beat.

Max: He’s sending a message that he’s still a force to be reckoned with in WPW.

Goodman again uses the hair to drag Ryo to his feet and uses forearms to force WPW’s only Japanese wrestler to the corner. Once there, he lifts Ryo and places him on the top rope, facing out towards the crowd. Brock climbs to the second rope behind Ryo and locks in a cobra clutch, but as he steps to the top rope looking to deliver “Repentance,” Caroline grabs his leg. As Brock tries to shake her off, Ryo nails him in the head with an elbow and Brock loosens his grip on the hold. Two more elbows send Brock crashing to the mat. Daisuke follows up with a moonsault, but isn’t immediately able to capitalize.

Daniel: Brock may live to regret not finishing this one when he had the chance.

Max: Its just a temporary setback. Knowing Goodman, this probably makes it more fun for him

Daniel: I doubt anyone can claim to know Brock Goodman, the man’s an enigma.

Ryo finally regains his wits and rolls over on top of Brock.

One

Two

The delay has enabled Brock to recover enough to kick out. Ryo is first to his feet and he unleashes a volley of quick kicks to the body of Goodman, before jumping in the air, turning 360 and landing a leg drop across the chest of Goodman. Ryo climbs the ropes and waits for Brock to get to his feet. With Brock fully vertical, Ryo jumps off and hits a modified shining wizard.

Daniel: Wow, that’s great athleticism by the TNT debutant.

Max: Nothing I haven’t seen a thousand times before.

Daniel: I’m sure that’s what your wife says when she has a nervous client visiting her brothel.

Max: Are you calling my wife a hooker?

Daniel: Did you figure that out all by yourself?

Ryo hoists Goodman up and hits a heel kick to the gut. Goodman bends over and Ryo delivers a scissors kick. Goodman is grounded and Ryo goes for a pin.

One

Two

Goodman powers out, sending Ryo flying halfway across the ring. Ryo hops up and runs at Goodman as he is getting to his feet. Super Kick! No, Goodman blocks the finisher by catching the foot. Enziguiri connects. The force of the enziguiri sends Goodman to the outside, and as the referee tries to stop Ryo from following him out, Caroline digs her high heels into the ribs of Brock on the outside. She finally moves away and walks to the far side of the ring. As Brock gets to his feet on the outside, Ryo reaches over the ropes and grabs him by the neck. Big mistake, as Brock hangs him up on the top rope. Brock climbs into the ring and lifts Ryo so that he is upside down, with his head between Goodman’s legs. “Absolution” (tombstone piledriver) from Goodman! Caroline climbs onto the apron as Brock goes down for the cover. Brock stands and moves towards her, before shaking his head and turning back to Ryo.

Daniel: Brock nearly made the same mistake he made with the Cassius’

Max: Yes, but he’s wiser now. See how he caught himself and returned his focus to the match. It’s that new focus which will finally deliver the gold to Goodman.

Brock makes it back to Ryo and drops down to make the cover.

One

Two

This time the delay benefits Ryo as he kicks out before three. Brock reacts by simply forcing Ryo to his feet. He knees him in the gut, and again places Daisuke’s head between his legs. He lifts him onto his shoulders, and delivers a spinning Crucifix bomb.

Max: Final Resting Place! Say goodnight to Daisuke Ryo, because he’s just been put to sleep.

One

Two

Three… DING DING

Daniel: Well, this newcomer couldn’t follow up his win over Dust with victory over Brock Goodman here tonight. But I’m sure we haven’t heard the last from Daisuke Ryo

Max: As long as we’ve heard the last of that god-awful entrance music.

Mina: Here is your winner, Brock Goodman.

Brock leaves the ring and bows his head at Caroline on the outside before walking up the ramp chuckling to himself.

Daniel: Brock Goodman showing a rare flash of humour there following this win. Could we be starting to see a mellower side to Brock? I guess we’ll have to wait and see, the same as you folks will have to wait and see the rest of the show as right now, we’re heading to commercial!

Straight back from commercial and “Crazy Bitch“ by Buckcherry hits the speakers as “The Cowboys”, Billy James and Mike Foxx step out from behind the curtain and make their way toward the ring. James suddenly breaks into a sprint and slides under the bottom rope.

Mina: Introducing first, weighing in at a combined weight of-

Billy James grabs the microphone out of Mina’s hand, and as she steps a few steps back in fear he spits into the mic as he talks.

Billy: Now look here…

The crowd boo’s violently as Billy James continues talking into the microphone.

Billy: Foxx and me, we got something to say to yall. See, yall disrespect us week after week after dog-on week and we’re sick of takin’ it.

The crowd continues booing as Foxx slides under the bottom rope now as well.

Daniel: Oh what poor… Innocent victims…

Max: Quiet Daniel, let them talk!

Billy: See, I understand why yall boo’d Foxxy here in the past since he used at come out here lookin’ a bit silly.

Mike looks quickly to Billy mouthing the words “Don’t start” and Billy puts his hand up to Mike, then looks back to the crowd to address them.

Billy: But now that the identity crisis has been sorted out, and I’m out here along with my pal, yall got no reason to keep on booin’ us.

The crowd only boos louder as Mike grabs the microphone from Billy James.

Mike: Now listen here! We’ve taken all we feel like taking, and it’s gonna end here tonight, because after this match against WPW’s job squad, we’re gonna go right on to win the tag team championships! When we hold the gold around our waists, you all WILL learn to respect us!

Mike pushes the microphone back into Mina’s chest, as Mina takes it and waits for a second before the lights go dark as blue and red fog emerges onto the ramp. As soon as Marilyn finishes saying "REACH OUT AND TOUCH FAITH!!" a huge fire arch emerges as Hitman Mark and Jessica come out and "Personal Jesus" hits. After posing on the entrance ramp, Hitman Mark makes his way down as Jessica follows him.

Mina: Making his way to the ring, being accompanied by Jessica, from South of Heaven and weighing in at 249 lbs. Hitman Mark!

Daniel: After months of competing on Live, Hitman Mark is making his TNT debut here tonight and for a debut match, the stakes couldn’t be too much higher.

Max: Ya got that right. A shot at the tag team championship? Hell, I’ll take it. I don’t really think Mark stands a chance against The Dream Team, but ya never know.

Daniel: Are you actually referring to Foxx and James as the Dream Team?

Max: Yeah, why not, not like anyone else is using the name.

Daniel: Humph… Whatever you say Max.

As Hitman Mark gets to the ring area, he hops on the mat and faces the crowd. He does the straight edge pose before going into the ring. Hitman Mark jumps on the turnbuckle and raises his hand a la Chris Sabin. Hitman Mark then stretches as “Call me when you’re sober” hits the speakers and the arena goes dark as the slow intro plays. As the rock beat kicks in multi-colored lights flash on the stage until the vocals start and Brooke jumps out onto the stage.

Mina: And making her way to the ring, from London, England, and weighing in at 130 lbs… Brooke Baker!

Daniel: Despite the fact she’s facing Foxx and James, not many cheers for her here tonight.

Max: Well I’ll cheer for her. Go Brooke! Oh wait hell, my boys! Ugh! I’m torn.

Daniel: Max Stockton, torn between a women and two men, I can’t say I’m surprised.

Max: This is gonna be hard for me to watch Daniel…

The lights continue to flash in time with the music as Brooke walks energetically down to the ring, ignoring the fans on her way. She looks to Jessica on the outside and glares somewhat at her, then slides under the bottom rope where Foxx catches her off guard with a hard slap to the face, bringing her to a knee. The ring bell sounds as the crowd begins to boo Foxx.

Daniel: Well, despite not getting a warm reception to her introduction, the crowd wasn’t too happy about Foxx simply slapping a woman off guard Max.

Max: This crowd just had no respect for The Dream Team. It makes me sick.

Foxx walks forward and grabs Brooke by the head and pulls her up, then leans back and swings his arm down to hit her with a clubbing blow directly between the shoulders knocking her back down to her knees. Brooke grabs the rope as she goes down and Foxx stays on her viciously hitting her between the shoulders on the back again with another clubbing blow.

Max: I can’t watch Daniel. I mean it! I can’t watch!

Daniel: Well send someone out here who can though so that I might actually get someone to call matches with instead of baby sit every Tuesday.

Foxx pulls Brooke to her feet and then still holding onto her arm whips her across the ring into the ropes. Brooke bounces off the ropes as Foxx lunges for her but she drops down and slides between his legs. Foxx turns around as Brooke quickly stands and is caught right in the chest by a hard knife edge chop from Brooke Baker. A smile spreads across Brooke’s face as she pulls her arm back and nails Foxx across the chest with a second knife edge chop turning him completely around. Brooke charges as Foxx spins and extends her arm to nail him in the throat with a clothesline as the crowd actually give her a small pop.

Daniel: The crowd just gave Brooke a small cheer, but they’re a long way from loving her Max.

Max: What’s not to love Daniel? I was talking to Brooke the other day about why her relationship with Airborn didn’t work out and you know what she told me?

Daniel: What Max?

Max: She asked me what men and beer bottles have in common. I told her I didn’t know, and she said they’re both empty from the neck up! I’m not sure I get the joke, but I’m assuming it meant Airborn was an alcoholic or something!

Daniel: …Yeah, that’s what it means Max… Jesus…

Foxx lies on the mat holding his neck as Brooke quickly turns to see James entering the ring and nails him between the eyes with a hard right hand that sends him to the mat. Foxx gets to his feet as Brooke turns back to face him again and strikes him in the cheek with a hard forearm. James rolls under the bottom rope and quickly stands in his corner as Foxx goes for a tag but Brooke turns him around and hits him in the jaw with her elbow. James makes the blind tag as Brooke pushes Foxx into the ropes and whips Foxx into the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. Brooke lowers her head as Foxx bounces off the ropes and sends a kick forward to hit Brooke right in the chest forcing her to stand back up straight but only for a moment as James hits her with a clothesline to the back of the neck. Brooke holds the back of her neck and rolls onto her chest as James and Foxx high five each other.

Max: As much as I love Brooke, that’s why I’ve gotta side with the Dream Team here. They are just a pure, one hundred and one percent kick ass team.

Daniel: Well the crowd isn’t siding with The dr… With Foxx and James here. In fact, most guys at least have a handful of fans, but I don’t think one person in this high school is cheering them.

Max: Who cares, this is a dumb ass high school anyway. I heard only one in ten students from here graduate from college.

Daniel: Oh you did not Max.

James places a knee in the back of Brooke Baker and leans down to begin hitting her with crossface blows from behind. Brooke brings her arm up to try and cover her face as Billy James relentlessly sends forearm after forearm to her face. James finally lets up on Brooke and stands, only to send a stomp right to the small of her back. James grabs Brooke by the hair and drags her to his corner where he tags Mike Foxx back into the match. Foxx enters the ring as together the two of them grab Brooke by the shoulder and push her into the corner. Foxx and James both grab one of Brooke’s hands and whip her toward her own corner, but instead of letting go of her hands they suddenly pull her back and drive her back hard into the corner.

Max: Nice double team move there by The Dream Team!

Daniel: Are you going to call them The Dream Team for the whole match?

Max: Match? That’s the new tag team name!

Daniel: Geez Max, you need a reality check.

James exits the ring as Foxx sends a hard kick to the abdomen of Brooke. Just as soon as James is out, Foxx tags him back in though as the two of them together grab Brooke by her hands and whip her forward only to drive her back into the corner turnbuckle again. Foxx leaves the ring as Hitman Mark yells to the ref to stop the double teaming. Brooke Baker sits up and James quickly locks in a neck vice on Brooke Baker. James looks up and tags in Foxx again, keeping the neck vice locked in as Foxx runs to bounce against the ropes, then charges Brooke driving his knee hard into Brooke’s face.

Daniel: Jesus! These two men are being overly rough here!

Max: I actually do agree with that one, look, they smeared her eyeliner!

James leaves the ring as Brooke holds her head as she sits back up. Foxx gets behind Brooke and places a knee her back before grabbing hold of her chin and pulling back onto his knee. Brooke struggles as Foxx continues to pull as the referee checks with Brooke. Brooke says she won’t quit, and reaches for the ropes when James kicks her hand away. The crowd get behind Brooke as she reaches out again and for a second time James kicks her hand away. The referee gets in James’ face and warns him as Brooke reaches back while the ref is distracted and grabs Foxx’s nutts and squeezes!

Daniel: Holy crap! Is Brooke doing what I think she’s doing?!

Max: Yes she is! Mike Foxx is the luckiest man in the world.

Daniel: Sadly, I imagine that probably is just about the only action you receive from women Max.

Foxx lets go of Brooke in pain as Brooke crawls to her corner. Foxx reaches back and makes the tag to Billy James who runs in the ring and tries to stop Brooke, but Brooke dives and makes the tag just in time to Hitman Mark! Jessica cheers as Hitman Mark enters the ring and clotheslines an incoming Billy James. Foxx charges Hitman Mark and Mark turns his body to strike Foxx in the face with a back elbow. Billy James stands again and Hitman Mark rushes James and clotheslines him back down to the mat. Foxx stands and rushes Hitman Mark but Mark scoops him up and slams him back down to the mat.

Daniel: Hitman Mark is on a roll here, and the tides have turned in this match up!

Max: No, my Dream Team!

James stands again but Hitman Mark moves quickly to him and scoops him up before slamming him back down to the mat as well! James quickly gets to her feet again as Mark grabs him by the wrist and whips him into the corner turnbuckle where Brooke is regaining her breath. Mark charges James and hits him with a clothesline into the corner! James falls onto his ass before Mark pulls him back to his feet and whips him again into the ropes. Billy James rebounds off the ropes and when he reaches Hitman Mark he sends a kick to his abdomen. Mark ignores the blow though and reaches forward to quickly grab him into a suplex, and as he lifts him up over his head he turns him in midair and then goes to a knee and drives James down back first on his outstretched knee! A Shoryu Press!

Daniel: I haven’t seen a move like that in quite some time!

Max: I haven’t seen a move like that ever, and you better believe, I’m pissed!

Mark covers James.

One

Thr…Broken up by Mike Foxx!

Daniel: Ouch! Foxx just kicked a field goal using Hitman Mark’s head as a football!

Max: Dream Team, Dream Team, Dream Team!

Daniel: Damnit, they are not the Dream Team Max!

Max: Let’s see what you have to say to that when they take those tag titles from Darkness.

Foxx pulls Mark to his feet and signals to the crowd that he’s ready to end the match. Brooke suddenly climbs to the top rope and hits a diving cross body on Foxx! The referee moves to Brooke to try and force both her and Foxx out of the ring as Hitman Mark shakily gets to his feet. Billy James smirks as he moves to the side of the ring and reaches underneath it.

Daniel: What the hell is this idiot doing?

Max: Oh my Daniel, look!

Billy James pulls out a steel bar with a logo on the end of it.

Max: That’s what he used to brand himself on the arm earlier in the week!

Daniel: Oh good lord…

Jessica suddenly runs up outside the ring and grabs hold of the brand James has in his hand. James looks up at Jessica in surprise as Jessica pulls the bar out of his hand. James stands and points to her saying “You gonna get a lashin’ for that later missy!” James turns around and is caught right in the face by a super kick! James is down and Mark jumps to the top rope!

Daniel: Here it comes, The Chi-Town Breakdown!

Max: No no no!

Hitman Mark jumps off the top rope with his variation of a frog splash, the Chi-Town Breakdown! He stays on top for the cover.

Three!

Mina: The winners of this match, Hitman Mark and Brooke Baker!

Daniel: They’ve done it Max! They’ve done it.

Max: God, I call for a recount!

Daniel: A what? Anyway, we’re taking you backstage where Amy White is standing by with the man going for the WPW Heavyweight title tonight, Jesse Long!

Amy: Jesse, you said earlier this week that you still have fond memories of this “arena!” How does it feel to come back here after all this time and fight for the WPW title?

Jesse: It feels soooo good! There are some things people will never forget, no matter how long they live. Their first kiss, the first time they have sex, their first car, and tonight I’m going to create another lasting memory, not just for myself, but for every student, past and present, of this great high school. Tonight, when I climb that ladder and release that strap to win the first ladder match in WPW history, and, in the process, become WPW champion, the people of this amazing town of St Augustine will witness one of their own rise to the very top.

Amy: Speaking of sex and kissing, during your preparations for this match, you broke up with your girlfriend Ana. How has that affected you coming into this encounter?

Jesse: I’d be lying if I said the timing didn’t knock me for six, but, like I said, it was for the best. Some things in life are meant to be, others aren’t. Tonight I intend to make up for the pain I felt on Sunday by inflicting a far worse kind of pain on Mr. James Moriarty Cassius.

Amy: You and JMC are no strangers to each other. In fact, as JMC pointed out, you are tied one apiece in your confrontations from your days in PCW. Does the fact that the man you are facings is Cassius give you extra motivation heading into this match?

Jesse: To be honest, I don’t know that it does. Its hard to need more motivation than to compete in front of your former teachers and friends, in the very type of match that made me want to get into this business in the first place. It’s true that JMC and I have, what some might call, unfinished business, but for now that is a side issue. I’m not denying I want o hurt JMC, I want to tear him apart, but I cant allow that to distract me from climbing that ladder and claiming that title.

Amy: JMC also mentioned that you have no more experience in this type of match and that the man who mentored you for thses kind of matches has now aligned himself with JMC. DO you feel that what people are starting to call “The Hardy Factor” will come into this match at all?

Jesse: The what? Jeff Hardy will have no bearing on this match whatsoever. In fact right now, Michael Lansing is liaising with the security hired by WPW to make sure that Hardy doesn’t even set foot in the arena. In the event that he does slip past security, there will be several hundred residents of St. Augustine who might have something to say about him being here. So, no! Hardy will not have any impact on this match, nor does his partnership with JMC have any effect on my preparations and mindset for tonight.

Amy: Finally, how do you feel about people saying that you were only booked in this match to give JMC an easy week after his gruelling battles with Dust and Brock Goodman?

Jesse: What? Who’s been saying that? Regardless, let me make something very clear to you, Miss White. The reason, the only reason, I am in this match is because I’ve earned the right to be here. Carlos Gonzalez finally saw what he had been missing all along, that I am the future of this company. I’ve earned this shot, and next week when I walk into the Dragon Room in Orlando, and greet the people with the WPW title around my waist, or maybe on my shoulder, I haven’t quite decided yet. Anyway, when I walk in with that title, people will see why I was given this opportunity. They will see that I am the epitomy of greatness. They will see me line up opponents and knock them aside in a way in which Cassius never could. I wont take weeks or even months to overcome an opponent, all it will take is one Twist of fate and they will be vanquished. Now, if we’re done here, I believe that lovely Ms. Thomas wants to see me in her office. She hasn’t aged a bit, and hey, since I’m single, might as well give all the boys something else to be jealous about.

Jesse walks off down the corridor and sprays some breath stuff in his mouth before knocking on a door and stepping inside.

As we come back from commercial, “Blisters and Coffee” is already a few seconds in. Almost as soon as the camera turns it’s attention away from the crowd and towards the ramp, Scroch comes running through the curtain. Due to the fact that this weeks’ venue is so small, Scorch is able to slap hands with fans on both sides of the ramp as he runs to the ring. He climbs the apron and makes his usual, spectacular entrance to the ring by flipping over the top ropes. He poses on the turnbuckle, and sucks in the adoration of this St. Augustine crowd.

Mina: The following is the final first round match in the tournament to determine the number one contender for the Florida State title. Introducing first, from Tinley Park, Illinois, and weighing in at 240lbs, Scorch.

Max: Look at him! Standing on that turnbuckle as if he’s the best thing to ever happen to WPW.

Daniel: Well, he’s only been here a short while and he’s already made a huge impact, not just on Carlos and his goons, but on the fans as well.

Max: Speaking of Carlos’ henchmen…

Metallica’s “Don’t tread on me” hits the speakers and the imposing frame of Ray Williams emerges from the back. He walks to the ring in a manner in stark contrast to that of Scorch, ignoring the fans who’s hands are mere inches from him. With one giant step, he climbs onto the apron and steps over the ropes into the ring. He stares a hole right through Scorch, but Scorch merely stares right back.

Mina: His opponent, from Hazard, Nebraska and weighing 320lbs, Ray Williams!

Max: Would you look at that intensity! This is a man with a point to prove as he looks to redeem his tag team loss to Scorch and The One at Full Force.

Daniel: Well, Scorch isn’t backing down from him. In fact, he seems to be enjoying this.

Max: He may not back down, but he’ll be broken down by the time Ray Williams is through with him.

After a few seconds of the staredown, Scorch bolts towards Ray. Williams tries to prepare himself, and starts to stomp on him, grabs him by the hair, and then whips Scorch into the ropes. Scorch bounces off and connects with stiff clothesline. Scorch pounces on top of Williams, and starts to pounce on him with rights and lefts. Scorch drags Williams up and hits a dropkick right to the cheek of Williams. Scorch goes up top and motions for a leg drop, and he connects with it. Scorch doesn't make a cover attempt, as he picks up Williams and hits a scoop slam. Scorch goes up top again, and this time he goes for a cross body dive. Williams rolls out of the way and out of the ring.

Daniel: Scorch could have already ended this with the leg drop, but it is obvious that he wants to deal out some punishment on Williams.

Max: The man is unstable. He wants a win

Williams is on the outside, as Scorch looks to try to go out and fight him. Suddenly, Scorch starts to run, jumps over the ropes, and connects with a crossbody on top of Williams. Both men are down on the outside.

Daniel: Oh my God! Scorch took a gamble for a high risk move, and it paid off. I can't believe he just did that.

Max: Is that enough proof to tell you Scorch is unstable? He’ll fight it out

Scorch gets up, and then he picks up Williams by his hair. Scorch then rams Williams's back into the barricade. He backs off, and does this three more times. The referee has started his count again, and at seven Scorch tosses Williams back into the ring. Scorch follows, and he walks Williams over to a corner and rams his head into the turnbuckle, as the fans count out each time Williams's head connects with the turnbuckle.

Max: That’s disgusting, he should be disqualified or fired or something

Scorch let's go of Williams, who stumbles out to the center of the ring, and flops. Scorch stands over Williams, and then he looks out to the crowd with his right hand balled up in a fist. The crowd urges Scorch on, and Scorch has a sadistic look in his eyes. Williams uses this time to crawl over to the corner, and he sticks his hand out, begging Scorch to stop with the beating. Scorch just shakes his head. Williams pulls himself up with the turnbuckle, and as Scorch gets closer to him, Williams rakes the eyes of Scorch. He follows up with a chop block on Scorch's right leg, and Scorch let's out a scream as he hits the canvas.

Daniel: Quick chop by Ray

Max: Williams using his size advantage to deliver crushing blows to Scorch

Daniel: It was a chop, not exactly falling under the definition of a crushing blow, is it?

Max: Well, do you want to climb in there and get one? Thought not!

Williams taunts the crowd, and then he kicks Scorch in the gut a few times. Williams grabs Scorch's right leg and starts to stomp on it. Williams puts Scorch's right leg on the middle rope, jumps up and brings his weight down on Scorch's leg. Williams taunts the crowd some more, and then points to his brain, as if he is saying that he has outsmarted Scorch. Williams hits a German Suplex, and then covers Scorch.

One…
Two…
Th… Scorch gets his shoulder up.

Max: What? Williams should have put him away after that

Williams picks Scorch up and tosses him to the outside. Williams slides under the ropes and then stalks his victim. Scorch is lying on the floor, as Williams picks him up and hits a snap suplex on the floor.

Daniel: Damn

Max: That suplex had to hurt. There’s the viciousness of Ray Williams coming through. He desperately wants to join his partner Dan Murph in the second round of this tournament.

Daniel: Can't argue with that.

Williams rolls in and out of the ring to break the referee’s count. Williams decides that he will whip Scorch into the steel post. Williams goes for it, but Scorch reverses it and sends Williams's back into the post. Williams goes down, as he let's out a cry of agony. Scorch falls face first on the floor, still suffering from Williams's attack. The ref gets to seven when Scorch rises to his feet. Scorch rolls in, and then right back out. He gets Williams up and sets him up. Scorch hits a Snap suplex to Williams

Daniel: Time for Williams to feel the cold steel

Max: I think I saw a porno named that once…

Daniel: Sounds like a gay porno

Back inside the ring, Scorch whips Williams into the ropes, but Williams reverses it. Williams holds onto Scorch's arm, and then grabs him for a belly to belly. Scorch elbows out of it, causing Williams to stagger backwards some. Williams gains his composure and charges at Scorch, but Scorch catches Williams. Scorch connects with a Hurri-slam, as the fans let out a huge pop. Scorch can't make the immediate cover, as he used all he had left for that move.

Daniel: If Scorch can cover Williams, I think he will win it.

Max: How did he pull that off?

Scorch crawls over to Williams, and places his arm over him.

One…

Thre… Kickout!

Max: Holy Hell

Daniel: Williams got his foot on the bottom rope just in time

Scorch can't believe it. Scorch gets Williams up and kicks him in the gut. Williams hunches over, as Scorch sets him up for a DDT. Williams shoves Scorch off of him. Scorch bounces off the ropes and Williams kicks him in the gut. DDT connects, and both men are down. Williams crawls over Scorch for a cover.

One…
Two…
Thre… Kickoput!

Daniel: Neither of these guys are going to give up without a fight

Williams gets on the top turnbuckle, but he takes too long. Scorch gets up and meets him at the top. Scorch punches on Williams, but Williams shoves him down to the mat. Scorch's head hits the mat hard. Williams then turns around and looks for a moonsault. He goes for it, but Scorch moves at the last second, and Williams hits front side first on the mat.

Daniel: Williams went for the high risk, but it didn't pay off.

Max: I have to admit that wasn’t the brightest of ideas. Williams should keep his feet firmly on the ground, so he can inflict maximum pain.

Scorch then goes up top, but Williams gets up and this time he meets Scorch on the top turnbuckle. Scorch shoves Williams down this time, and Scorch calls for a huge splash. He goes for it, but Williams moves at the last second, and Scorch nails the canvas. Scorch rolls around feeling the effects of hitting the mat, as Williams gets to his feet. Scorch gets to his feet, but Williams rolls him up in a small package.

One...

The referee spots Williams using the ropes just as his hand comes down for the three count. He jumps up and kicks the arm of Williams off the rope. Williams doesn’t take too kindly to this and gets in the referee’s face.

Daniel: what a series of counters and counter-counters there by these two men. Who would even have thought that a man of Williams’ size would have the agility to pull off manoeuvres like that?

Max: Anyone who is a fan of his, like I am. You’d be amazed at what Williams can do.

Williams lifts Scorch to his feet and Irish whips him towards the ropes. Before he can let go, Scorch digs his heels in and prevents the whip. He holds onto the arm that Williams was using to Irish Whip him and twists it. He jerks himself and Williams sideways, before adding the finishing touches to the “Ignitor”

Daniel: Where did that come from? Williams looked to be in the ascendancy, but Scorch hit his finisher out of nowhere!

Max: That cant be right!

Scorch falls on top of Williams and hooks his leg for extra leverage.

Daniel: Scorch wins it, and we now have our completed line-up for the second round of the Florida State Title number one contender’s tournament. Its going to be Dan Murph, Scorch and the four men in tag team action later on tonight.

Mina: The winner of this contest, and the final entrant in the second round, Scorch!

Max: I still cant believe that Scorch stole Ray Williams’ spot in the next round.

Daniel: Well, you better believe it, cos its true.

The cameras go into the men's locker room where Darkness are getting their bags out of their lockers, Van has an impatient look on his face.

Van: So, explain to me again, why you wanted to come here tonight even though we're not booked for the show...

Shadow grabs his bags from the locker, and nods to Van looking up to him.

Shadow: Correct.

Van taps his foot, slinging his bag over his shoulder.

Van: And I brought my wrestling gear tonight... So we could what... Scout the tag match?

Shadow looks up suddenly to Van.

Shadow: You brought your gear? Hmm... Curious...

Shadow goes back to digging in his bag when Van places his hand on top of one of the metalic lockers making a "clang" noise.

Van: Well, while you're... Doing whatever it is you're doing... I'm gonna go look for Amanda.

Shadow: Ok, go ahead, I'll meet you at the car.

Van nods to Shadow and TNT goes to commercial break.

TNT comes back from commercial break as Shadow leans against his black mustang. He looks down at his watch for a moment, then clicks a button to unlock the car, and opens up his trunk. Shadow tosses his bags into the trunk when suddenly a noise startles him.

Voice: Hey Shad...

Shadow hits his head on the bottom of the trunk. He backs up as the trunk slams shut and looks up quickly, then relaxes seeing it's Amanda.

Shadow: Good lord, you scared the hell out of me.

Amanda: Sorry about that.

Shadow: How'd your meeting with Carlos go about becoming an active competitor?

Amanda: Really well actually. He said maybe as early as next week I'll get a match on TNT.

Shadow: Against Brooke again?

Amanda: Hopefully, ya know, soften her up before you guys beat her again to retain your titles.

Shadow: Actually I was under the impression we might be facing them next week.

Amanda: I dunno, I didn't really get any details on how it'd go. Anyway, we leaving now?

Shadow: Yeah, Van go to the bathroom or something?

Amanda looks confused.

Amanda: Huh? What do you mean?

Shadow's eyebrows turn down, confused now as well.

Shadow: Wait. He went to go talk to you a minute ago right?

Amanda: I havn't seen him...

Shadow looks to the side for a moment and lets out a small sigh, and predictably, Van suddenly comes walking up. He stands there for a moment before speaking.

Van: Hey guys...

Amanda looks up to Van and bites her lip.

Van: Was lookin for you...

Amanda: I was at Carlos' office like I told ya I'd be, then came out here where you guys said to meet.

The three of them stand in awkward silence for a moment before Shadow breaks the silence.

Shadow: We gonna stop at Taco Bell again? To be honest, I'm tired of people thinking we're trying to rob Denny's every time we go in...

Van: Nah... I'm not really that hungry... Let's just get back to the hotel, had TNT recording, we can study the match more... That is what you wanted to do by coming here isn't it?

Shadow: Yeah...

Shadow opens the door to the car and climbs in as Van walks around to the other side of the car. Amanda reaches out and grabs his hand. He stops and looks at her.

Amanda: Van... You ok? You've been acting... Strange...

Van takes a moment to answer, breathing in the cold air for a moment, and watching his breath as it comes back out.

Van: Nah... I've been acting normal... My normal...

Van opens the passenger door of the car and climbs in as Amanda gets in the backseat and lays down across it as the cameras go back to the ring.

Heaven Beside You hits and we see The One walk down to the ring.

Mina: Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for The One Invitational!

Daniel: This is something I haven't seen before, have you Max?

Max: Aside from Kurt Angle pretending to pick his own opponents, no.

Daniel: I meant here in WPW, but either way, The One is ready for his Invitational, I wonder how he will run it.

The One slides in the ring and grabs a Microphone. He walks to the front of the ropes nearest the stage.

One: So many bodies on this Earth. So many humans that feel they are better than everyone around them. I do not believe in that Earth. I believe in proving your strengths, and weaknesses, as opposed to saying you are all strength and no weakness is to be found. My children, I welcome you to The One's Invitational, where I shall prove that not only can I speak my ability, I can fight through any danger. So I challenge any person in the back room to come out, so I can prove my worth. I beg you all to send one brave soul out here to face The One.

???: Woah, woah, woah!

Carlos Gonzalez walks from the back holding a microphone.

Carlos: Who do you think you are! This is my show, and your not going to just bring any old body out here. The guys in the back are afraid. They don't want to come out and face someone like yourself.

Carlos is laughing to himself.

Max: Carlos is right, Danny. Who wants to lose to The One.

Daniel: The One is a very good wrestler, I would be honored to lose to him.

Max: I think you missed Carlos's joke, Danny. The One can't beat an egg.

Carlos: I make the matches here! You can't just come out here and tell someone to come out here, because we would get a nobody jobber to come out and try to make a name for himself. Well I'm going to bring out a big machine. I'm going to bring out a man whom you will not, and can not take down. A man so big, so powerful, that I think I saw Brock Goodman take one look at him and run into a corner. Or maybe that was Nick Comoroto, anyway. One, I would like to introduce you to...Unit!

How We Do by The Game hits, and Unit stomps to the ring. He stops just before, and sticks his arms in the air and yells, trying to show his strength and power.

Carlos: Have fun, One. Let's get a referee out here.

Unit steps into the ring, and the ref who just ran to the ring calls for the bell to begin the match.

Daniel: I wonder if The One thought he would be facing someone with the strength of Unit tonight.

Max: It wouldn't matter who he faced, Danny. Like I said before, The One can't take apart a piece of toilet paper, or beat and egg.

Daniel: Must you use the same joke twice.

Max: Not many words can describe The One, so I'm limited.

Both men walk toward eachother, and The One gives Unit a thumb to the eye.

Max: Oh, real fair.

The One immediatly DDTs Unit, going for a quick cover.

1........
2........
3.-------
Unit got his shoulder up just after 2.
The One picks up Unit, who tried to give One a few elbows to the gut, but One punches Unit in the back of the head and that shut him up. Unit falls to the ground, and The One picks him up, this time cleanly. The One gives Unit another DDT, and Unit falls flat on his face. One doesn't feel to pin him again, so he picks him up and throws the big man into the corner, followed by a running Splash. The One then puts Unit as high as he can pick him up, which is propped up on the second turnbuckle pad, then puts his head under his shoulder, hooks his leg, and gives him a Superplex! Unit, being a 300+ pounder, hits hard and the whole ring shakes like on top of an earthquake.

Daniel: Oh My God! I think there's a volcano outside this arena the way this place shook.

Max: I think you mean Earthquake.

Daniel: Either one would shake the place like that, maybe less than that one!

The One is slow moving, but then regains his strength and crawls over to Unit for a cover.

1........
2........
3.......-

Daniel: The bigger you are the harder you fall, and Unit fell hard. But he still found enough to kick out.

Max: He better not lose, as soon as Carlos announed Unit coming out, I immediatly called a few bookies, and bet this week's salary on Unit.

Daniel: Nothing is a sure thing, take this past week in the NFL for example, I wonder how much money was lost there.

Max: I lost about 2000.

Daniel: You're just not a good gambler, in fact, you suck. Almost as much as Unit.

The One leaves Unit on the ground, but turns him on his stomach. He grabs Unit's arm, and locks in The Final Rest. Unit taps out almost immediatly. the ref calls for the bell.

Mina: Here is your winner by Submission, The One!

Daniel: One has done it, and Max is out some more money!

Max: I hate this job, there are too many upsets!

Daniel: Max, stop betting on your own job, Pete Rose's life was ruined for that. Keep your money and opinions to yourself.

Max: Danny, sometimes you make sense. This isn't one of those times.

Daniel: Anyway, The One will walk away from Unit unscarred, and according to himself, proved himself the best.

The camera once again focuses away from ringside and a black cellar greets us in what looks like an unscheduled segment on Turmoil. The light of the moon illuminates the cellar but there are still areas cloaked in darkness. The floor is filthy, and dust has settled on objects left in the cellar to age. A mouse scampers across the floor as the camera pivots around the room, searching for something. Finally the camera focuses on the far wall of the cellar. A small rectangular window sits overhead, the crouched figure of a man beneath if. Though the moon allows us to view most of his uppebody his face is hidden in the shadows. He rocks back and forth on his heels, his breath almost a weaze. A voice speaks, the familuar voice of Dust but there is a rasp in his speech.

Dust: One of the first things I learned in Japan was when to stand back and evaluate all that has happened to you. The Japanese believe strongly in sanctuary, in meditation and in purifying the mind and soul in difficult times. My whole career I have had my own personal sanctuary. I have had my own temple of peace and meditation. It has always been within in me but since leaving Japan I haven't had to wrench it out. See I am from a whole different world altogether. What they call sanctuary, I call isolation. What they called purification of the mind, I call prison. They do it to purge their souls of demons. I do it to purge my soul of the putrid smell of mortality and weakness. There is no two ways about it, the last two weeks of my life have been some of the worst in my wrestling career. The worst! In the space of two weeks I have let my legacey slip and become the victem of the greatest upset in the history of my sport. I call myself the Peoples King but for the last two weeks I have been a king in paupers clothing. And it seems the pauper in me is just dying to get out. See there is this deep seeded evil, this common muck that stirs inside of me. It is an enemy, it is a friend. It may lead to my destruction but it also may lead to my redemption. I sit here in filth and squalor to see if my friend will come. See this darkness inside of my heart will only reveal itself in the form of a close personal friend. It will only look up to the light should I that friend look at me with eyes of disgust. I sit in this squalor and wait patiently for me friend to arrive. James Morriarty Cassius had destroyed my life. I have let another destroy my entire existance but now I must look to another to build it back up. He is coming, he must come. I fear his arrival but I also welcome it with open arms. Can you hear him? Shhhhhh! Listen........

Nothing can be heard but for Dust rocking back and forth on his heels. He stops rocking and leans forward. His face is illuminated and it is covered in blood. Dust daubs his fingers in the blood which flows from his forehead and looks at it in a trance.

Dust: This blood is for you my friend. I shed this blood so that you may come and redeem my lost destiny. I wait, I wait anxiously for the coming of your arrival. You are my saviour, you are my devil and you will come to free me from these shakles. The Reign............ The Reign is coming. Can you feel it?

Dust smiles into the camera manically before leaning back into the shadows.

Daniel: Well, that was a bit strange. You folks at home can ponder Dust's words during this commercial break

Daniel: In recent weeks Max we have seen the establishment of a solid midcard here in WPW. And coming up are four men that are the present and future of this company.

Max: Now now Danny, as far as I am concerned there is only one man in this match that can claim to be the FUTURE of this company and that is the soccer legend Jamie Parker.

Daniel: Whatever you say Maximillion. All four men in tonights tag match are in the next round of the Florida State title tournament. These men had impressive showings in the tournament thus far and you can be sure that the Florida State Champion is watching this one closely.

Max: You can count on it Danny. But as far as I am concerned there is only one thing that will decide the outcome of this match.

Daniel: And what is that?

Max: Jamie Parker and Mykal Adams will come away here with the victory IF Mykal Adams can stay out of Jamies way.

Daniel: I should have seen it coming...... The real question coming into this match is whether or not Adams and Parker can co-exist. Since joining the singles roster Mykal Adams has been undefeated but in tag action his record is less then impressive.

Max: They won't co-exist that's why Adams has to steer clear of Jamie. We all know Stallion and Corral are making love in the back so those two are going to be on the same page.

Daniel: One team can exist togeather, can the other? We are going to find out right now!

'Never Let Me Down Again' hits to a pop from the crowd. Smoke begins to stream out from behind the curtain. The vocals hit and Mike Corral steps out to a warm reception from the crowd. He stops at the top of the entrance ramp and waits a couple of seconds. Bella comes strutting through the curtain to whistles from the predominently male audience.

Mina: Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Bella, from San Diego and weighing in at 243lbs............ 'The Triple X Superstar' Mike 'The Saint' Corral!

Corral and the lovely Bella are already down to the ring. Bella climbs up onto the apron as Corral goes up the ring steps. Bella back rolls into the ring as Corral steps between the ropes. He knocks off the hood and looks out at the crowd, his eyes burning with intensity. Corral begins to strip off his entrance attire.

Daniel: Mike Corral has been very impressive since debuting in WPW. For a man of his weight and size, Corral is very athletic and combines power with a fast luchadore style.

Max: Corral is another Indy flake. In my eyes he doesn't stand next to the true superstars of WPW, the crossover superstars. Yeah Im sure he does great on the circuit but the circuit means nothing here Danny. It's all about ratings and this kid isn't primetime material.

Daniel: And what the hell would you know about primetime material? People today want to see wrestlers, not idiots dressed up like a Power Ranger. Corral is a wrestler and a damn good one at that.

'Take On Me' hits to interupt the announcers little tiff. Fireworks flare to a massive pop as Stallion bursts out from behind the curtain. He stops up at the sound of the pop and looks out over the crowd with huge appreciation. He slaps his chest and points out at the crowd which appear to be Stallion marks.

Mina: And his partner... from Dallas, Texas and weighing in at 215lbs............. The STALLION!

Stallion walks to the ring slapping hands at ringside. He slides in beneath the bottom rope and hits the turnbuckle nearest to him. He looks out over the crowd once again and puts his hand to his lucky necklace. Bella has her eye on Stallion which gets somewhat of a disapproving look from Corral.

Max: Hey... Did you see that Danny boy?

Daniel: Yes I did and I have to say that is interesting to note ahead of this match. The Stallion has been known in the past for his sexual behaviour and his extreme love of the fairer sex. Could Stallions mojo, for want of a better word, be the factor which impeeds his teaming with Corral?

Max: Mike Corral best be on his toes because before he knows it his girlfriend there could be doubled over with Stallion and Adams deciding who takes the head and who takes the ass.

Daniel: Did you really have to say that?

Max: I think so...........

'Just Close Your Eyes' hits and the pop is deafening. The whole arena is basked in a yellow glow as Mykal Admas steps out from behind the curtain to an unbelievable pop. The Ladies Man smiles from ear to ear as he can see both his opponets have been blown away by his response.

And their opponents. Introducing first from Destin, Florida. Weighing 240lbs.............. 'The Ladies Man' Mykal Adams!

Mykal tears down the hood of his gold hoodie and spins as pyro erupts from the stage. He walks for the ring, acknowledging the fans and throwing a few winks out to the ladies. He stops outside the ring and points in at Corral and Stallion while having a bit of banter with a fan at ringside. Mykal laughs, shakes the guys hand and slides into the ring unafraid. He stares down both Corral and Stallion, Bella has decided to head to the outside. Mykal climbs the turnbuckle, taking off his hoodie and looking out over the crowd for a hot woman. Mykal finally just shrugs and tosses the hoodie to Bella who catches if. Bella realises what has just happened and drops the hoodie immediately.

Max: What did I say!?

Daniel: Well Mykal Adams is obviously trying to get into the head of one Mike Corral.

Max: Yeah and it is working too. Take a look at the Saint, he is bugging out.

Daniel: You know Im begining to think it may have been better for Corral to leave the beautiful Bella backstage.

Max: You know.... From the back Mykal Adams kind of looks like a white Halle Berry. He's the Lady Man!

Daniel: Max what do you get up to when the lights go?

'The Prisoner' hits and for the first time tonight the welcome is less then warm. Jamie Parker steps through the curtain in full kit but this time around he carries a chair rather then his usual football. In the ring Mykal Adams is leaning over the top rope and glaring up at his partner.

Mina: And his partner... from Harchester, England. Weighing 230lbs..... Jamie Parker!

Parker starts to make his way down to the ring, the chair still in hand. He gets to ringside and starts to talk smack to his tag team partner. Mykal is warning Parker to leave the chair on the outside but the Englishman is simply telling Adams that he will do what he wishes. With that said Jamie Parker turns his back on Adams and places the chair over the guardrail. He hops over the guardrail, unfolds the chair and takes a seat for himself in the crowd.

Daniel: Now what the hell is this?

Max: This is Jamie Parker sitting in the crowd.

Daniel: Well I can see that. Is Jamie Parker sitting this match out?

Max: Looks that way to me. Obviously he is sitting on the bench incase there is a need for a substitution but I get the feeling that Jamie Parker wants Mykal Adams to learn a lesson in survival.

Daniel: Well it would appear to me that this match has just become a handicap match.

Max: Jamie! Jamie! Yeah...... Get the nachos, they're great!

Mykal Adams stares out at Parker in disbelief. He shakes his head and turns away from the ringside area, his eyes now locked on his opponents. Corral and Stallion are conversing on just who should lock up with Mykal initially. The two men shake on it as Stallion steps out onto the apron. Mike Corral steps right up to Mykal Adams and they start a little bit of jaw jacking. Interesting to note that both men are about the same build and weight, obviously a factor in deciding that the Triple X Superstar should start this one off. Mykal shoves Corral out of his face and sets his feet, asking the Saint to come and bring it. Elbow and collar tie up center of the ring and the two men jockey for position. With lightening pace Adams bridges low and shoots behind the unsuspecting Corral. Waistlock applied to the Saint and Corral looks to try and break the grip. Adams hauls him up and slams him down to the mat with a Back Side Slam. The Ladies Man shoves Corrals face down into the canvas and pops back up to his feet backing up with a smile on his face. Corral glares up at Adams from his knees which only gets a shrug from the former uCw Trans-Atlantic champion. "If you want to wrestler let's wrestle!" Corral back to his feet and it would seem he is ready to answer Mykals call. They circle one another, each man edgey despite what they may claim to the contrary. Elbow and collar tie up center of the ring. Corral shoots behind this time and locks Mykal up in the waistlock. Adams deftly breaks his grip and turns into the Saint. Deep Armdrag takes Corral over. Again Adams pops to his feet and backs up with a smile, the crowd applauding his efforts.

Daniel: Well I think it is fair to say that Mykal Adams must be getting inside the head of Mike Corral.

Max: Corral best change tact because at the moment it doesn't look like he can take Adams down.

Daniel: Mykal Adams has seemingly brushed aside the fact that his tag team partner is seated in the crowd and is just getting on with this match.

Max: No, for once Mykal Adams is doing something worth while. He is answering the call of Parker and learning from him.

Corral rolls his shoulder getting out the stiffness he feels following that deep armdrag. He stands and doesn't seem to know what way to approach Adams. From the corner Stallion claps his hands and holds out his right for the tag. Mykal winks at Corral and points to his partner. Mike looks in the direction of Stallion and shakes his head, this is his fight right now. Stallion shakes his head and holds up his hands in submission. The Saint turns back to Mykal Adams and the two men circle one another once again. Lock up center of the ring and again they jockey for position. Knee to the gut from Corral doubles Adams over and the Saint pounces immediately, locking in a front facelock. He doesn't exactly seem to see the hold as key to victory as he drives a knee up into the face of Mykal Adams, releasing him and letting the Ladies Man stumble away. Mykal is a little bit groggy and a chorus of Woooooooooooo's comes up as Mike Corral comes down across the chest of the Florida native with a series of knife edge chops. Each chop backs Adams up and you can see the eyes of the Ladies Man water up somewhat. Irish whip but Mykal twists under it and drags Corral in. He pops the hits and connects with a perfect Belly to Belly Suplex! Mykal Adams pops right back up and sets his feet, calling Corral back up to his feet. The tide is with Adams once again as Corral stands with a little trouble. Knife edge chops across the chest from Mykal are again answered with a Wooooooooooooo. Boot to the gut from Adams and an Irish whip sends Corral for the ride. Standing clothesline from Adams but Mike ducks it. Handspring Back Elbow from Mike Corral takes Adams down! The Triple X Superstar nips back up and drops an elbow across the chest of Adams.
One
Two but Mykal kicks out.

Daniel: I think Mike Corral may just have found the opening and the strategy he will have to utilise when in the ring with Adams.

Max: I have to agree with you Danny. It seems speed, quickness and half-assed acrobatics is the order of the day if Mike Corral wants to keep his partner happy.

Daniel: We have yet to see Stallion in this match but Im sure he'll be in the ring soon.

Max: Tale a look at Jamie Parker, there is a man totally focused on the job at hand. He is studying his opposition.

Indeed Jamie Parker is sitting foreward in his chair watching the match up keenly. Back to the ring and Mike Corral drags Adams up by his perfectly gelled hair. Right hand to the gut from Adams catches the Saint unawares. Again the Ladies Man connects with a shot to the gut. Three more right hands and the wind is taken out of Corral's sails. Mykal up with a stiff European Uppercut to drive Mike Corral back a few steps. Irish whip off the ropes but Stallion gets a blind tag in off Corral. Mike ducks a clothesline and comes back off the ropes as Stallion steps into the ring. Hip Toss from Mykal Adams sends Mike Corral crashing into his parnter front dropkick style! Stallion falls over the second rope to the outside as Corral tries a way of find his feet. He stumbles back into the ropes. Quick step up clothesline from Mykal Adams sends Mike Corral over the top rope and to the outside! Mykal Adams lets out a roar and the crowd respond in kind. Stallion stands and helps Corral back to his feet. Mykal runs off the opposite ropes and comes back at speed. Baseball slide but both men block it. Quick thinking as they both grab hold of Mykals head. Stallion and Corral slams Adams' head back, cracking it off the steel guardrail! 'Owwwwww' and the crowd felt that one. Jamie Parker grins and sits back in his seat.

Daniel: Dear God almighty, Mykal Adams just got his lights dimmed. I'd be surprised if his skull isn't fractured after that impact.

Max: Mykal shouldn't try to emmulate Jamie Parker. Parker is the only man I know that can pull off the double Baseball Slide successfully.

Daniel: Once again your mouth is the bastion of shit.

Max: Well at least it isn't like Adams' brain..... Scramble egg.

Stallion brings Mykal Adams to his feet and rolls him back into the ring. He stops up on his way back in and looks warily at Jamie Parker. Parker holds up his hands innocently as Stallion steps in between the ropes. Mykal has found a way to his hands and knees but Stallion tenaciously stomps down across the back of his head, keeping Mykal Adams pinned to the mat. He hauls Mykal up the rest of the way before immediately taking him over with a Snapmare. Adams is sat up and the crack of leather against skull reverberates around the arena after stiff kick to the back of the head by the Stallion. Mykal Adams is on dream street as Stallion pulls back and again connects with a stiff, straight kick to the back of Mykal Adams' skull. Stallion steps back once again and it seems a third kick is on the menu. He swings his leg but Adams rolls over onto his gut. Single leg front ankle trip takes Stallion down and Adams hooks the leg with a tight pin.
One
Two, reversed into a Crucifix pin by Stallion!
One
Two but Adams forces his way out. Both up but Mykal is a little dazed.... Stiff falling cltohesline from the Stallion puts him back down to the mat. Hook of the leg,
One
Two but Mykal Adams kicks out again. Stallion sits Mykal up and measures him. Knife edge chop across the face slams Mykals head back against the mat with velocity. Jamie Parker seems to be enjoying Adams' punishment. Tag to Mike Corral.

Daniel: Early days yet in this match but Stallion has given his team a superb advantage in zeroing in on the head of Adams. Mykal is only a few minutes into this contest but if he is to win he is going to have dig very deep already.

Max: I've taken a fair few beating in my day....

Daniel: Around the head? I can tell.

Max: Shut up! But yes, around the head. Let me tell you there is nothing worse then being in a match groggy. If your head starts ringing then you can count out the rest of your body because it is going to feel like lead.

Daniel: Amazing Max, you actually gave us some insight.

Adams sits up slightly but a stomp right down across the face from Corral puts an end to all of that. Again Adams elevates himself but a stomp down to the face puts him flat on his back. The Triple X Superstar drags Mykal to his feet and knocks some more sense out of him with a European Uppercut. Scoop Slam plants the Ladies Man down on the mat and Corral immediately goes off the ropes for some momentum....... Airtime Leg Drop across the head of Adams! Hook of the leg,
One
Two but Mykal forces a shoulder up. Mike Corral starts to rise, bringing Mykal Adams up by the hair. Knee to the gut keeps Mykal honest and Corral hooks him in a front facelock. Suplex...... No he stalls it in midair for all to see. The crowd applaud as Mike Corral keeps Mykal Adams held up like a prize turkey. Adams' head is getting a blood rush but the landing that will follow won't be one he'll enjoy. On the outside Bella applauds her man as still he keeps Mykal Adams elevated up. Stalling Brainbuster plants Mykal on the mat like roadkill! Corral with the cover, driving his forearm down across the face of Adams,
One
Two and again Mykal Adams forces his shoulder up.

Daniel: Again Adams kicks out but what about that show of strength from Mike Corral. He held Mykal Adams in that Stalling Brainbuster for 30 seconds at least.

Max: Mykal Adams' head must feel like a water melon at this stage Danny. Stallion and Mike Corral are going to beat on him until they crack something.

Daniel: Mykal Adams has been showing tremendous heart and intestinal fortitude to hold out the way he has. Thus far he has been getting tough treatment from the team of the Stallion and Corral.

The Saint stands and stares down at Mykal Adams. The Ladies Man rolls over onto his gut and starts the process of finding a way to his hands and knees first. Corral off the ropes in a flash as Mykal gets to is feet but is stooped over. Sitout Bulldog plants Mykal face first into the canvas. Adams bounces up on his knees, his hand to his face. Low front dropkick from Mike Corral damn near takes Mykals head off!
One
Two
Thr... Again Mykal Adams kicks out. We just got a view of how quickly Mike Corral can string moves togeather but for now he tags back out to the Stallion. Stallion drags Mykal to his feet, his left hand clasped around the back of his head. Without warning Stallion unleashes a flurry of stiff forearm shots to the face of Mykal Adams, knocking all kind of sense out of him. Stallion stops up leaving Adams reeling. Discuss clothesline.... Ducked by Mykal who gets behind. Reverse DDT. No, blocked by Stallion who drives wild forearms back into the face of the Ladies Man. Mykal loses his grip and Stallion gets loose. Right hand but it's blocked by a resiliant Mykal. Adams fires back with right hands of his own, the crowd behind each and every blow. He backs the Stallion up, it looks as if Mykal is running on empty. Knee doubles Stallion over and Adams shoots him off the ropes with an Irish whip. Mykal telegraphs a back body toss and a kick to the teeth straightens him up in the worst possible way. Picture perfect Spinning Neckbreaker from the Stallion connects! Mykal lays flat on the mat as Stallion hooks a leg,
One
Two
And, no Mykal Adams shoots a shoulder up once again.

Daniel: Take note, Mykal Adams isn't done just yet. I think we just saw that Adams will still battle on as long as there is air in his lungs.

Max: Battle on all he wants but in a blink of an eye he was back on that mat holding his head.

Daniel: True but Mykal Adams will keep on coming back, he will not give up the ghost.

Stallion sits Adams up and goes to the basics with a a rear chinlock applied on the Ladies Man. The Stallion buries his knee into the back of Adams' neck as he cinches in the hold that little bit more. Obviously Ramsey asks for a submission but we don't expect one to be forthcoming in such a situation. The crowd start to stop their feet, willing the Ladies Man to make some sort of fight of this. Stallion looks out at the crowd and seems almost disappointed that their support isn't fully behind him. Mykal holds up a defiant fist, energy now surging through his body and it would seem he is going to begin the long battle up to his feet. On the outside Jamie Parker has his legs crossed and is smiling from ear to ear. Adams has a foot planted and starts to battle up, Stallion shaking his head furiously in the hope that he can keep Mykal down. Both men are to a vertical base but a modified rear chinlock is still applied to Mykal Adams. Mykal locks his hands around those of Stallion and starts to turn the screw. The Ladies Man is twisting out of the hold and up into a top wristlock it would appear. Quick boot to the gut from Stallion doubles Adams over. He clubs down across the ringing head of Mykal and Stallion runs off the ropes quickly for some momentum..... Powerslam from Adams takes Stallion over!
One
Two but a boot to the back of the head by Corral breaks the count. The Triple X Superstar stomps down across the head of Mykal a couple of more times before he hauls him up to his feet. Irish whip coming but Mykal catches Corral unawares with a knee to the gut and drags him in... Trap Suplex connects! Stallion stands to see Adams charging at him. Clothesline from the Stallion but Mykal ducks it and comes back off the ropes. High knee to the face of Stallion connects!

Daniel: Mykal Adams has found his second wind and it ruling the roost here.

Max: It always happens but the fact of the matter is Mykal Adams has no one to make the hot tag too. Sooner or later he is going to get caught bad.

Daniel: You're right Max. Mykal Adams has to end this one fact in my estimation but right now all three men in the ring are down.

Adams begins to stand, the crowd starting to rally behind him. Mike Corral begins to rise and Mykal is on him in a second. The Saint quickly drives a shoulder into the gut of Adams doubling him over. Grip across the back of Mykals head as Corral drops down with a facebuster across the shin. Adams is knocked for a loop but stays up thanks to the ropes. Corral charges in..... Back body toss from Adams but Corral manages to float over and land on the apron. Adams turns into a stiff right hand that sends him stumbling back. Corral springs up onto the top rope. Springboard Sunset Flip!
One
Two
Thre............. Mykal Adams rolls back out of it. Both men to their feet and Mykal strikes first with a forearm to the face of Corral. The Ladies Man is digging deep and he starts to pound on Corral with a series of stiff forearms to the jaw. Boot to the gut. Love Gun Stung.... No Corral shoves Adams. off. Stallion comes charging out of nowhere.... Big Boot! Adams ducks it and Stallion damn near takes Corrals head off! Quick School boy from Adams on Stallion!
One
Two
Three!

Daniel: He got it!

Max: No, Stallion just.... Just barely kicked out Danny.

Daniel: Did he? Looks that way but from where we are sitting it looked like Adams had the three.

Max: Ramsey says it was two. Just listen to these morons, they are starting a Mykal Adams chant. Where is the respect for the true superstar in this match? Where is the respect for Jamie Parker?

Parker retakes his seat, he leaped out of it when it looked like Adams had the three. Stallion is to his feet as is Adams and it is the Ladies Man with the advantage, a skintilating knife edge chop reverberating around the arena. Irish whip from Mykal but Stallion hangs on and reverses it, Irish whipping Adams off the ropes. Stallion turns, setting his feet to meet Mykal. Running Lariat from the Ladies Man connects to Stallion! Adams is up and the fire is burning, the crowd behind him in this match. He calls for Stallion to stand after that Lariat that truly came out of nowhere. Stallion is out off his feet and doesn't seem capable of rising. Mykal wants to reel him in, finish this thing while he can. Corral from behind... Dragon Suplex into an Unprettier connects!

Daniel: The Triple X!

Max: Oh baby that has to be it! Look at Parker, he can't surpress his smile.

Daniel: Out of nowhere..... Corral just has to top Adams.

Mike Corral breaths heavily, his lungs burning. He hooks the leg, Mykal Adams looks to be knocked unconcious.
One
Two
Three!!! Mike Corral has pulled off a.......... No! Mykal Adams kicked out and these fans are on their feet! The Triple X Superstar stares at Ramsey in disbelief, shaking his head. Corral stands and protests the count but Ray Ramsey is sure of it and the replay shows Adams with the last milisecond kick out. Corral works quickly, dragging Adams to his feet as Stallion starts to pick himself up thanks to the corner turnbuckle. Mike hooks Mykal up for the Angels Halo, his version of the Ki Krusher..... Inside Cradle from Adams!
One
Two
Thre........... Corral forces his way out. Both up, Adams running of adrena......... Love Gun Stung! Mykals version of the Diamond Cutter connects on Corral!

Daniel: The Love Gun Stung connects! Can he cover him?

Max: Hook of leg........

Daniel: Wait, Stallion from the top rope.

Adams hooks the leg.
One, Stallion kisses his lucky necklace from the top rope
Two, Stallion with the Moonsault......

Daniel: The Showdown!

Mykal moves and the Showdown connects on Corral! Stallion stands holding his gut only to get a clothesline from Adams that sends him packing from the ring. Adams falls to his knees and fevereshly hooks the leg,
One
Two
Three! Yes, no! Somehow and with some amazing guts, Mike Corral has managed to kick out! Mykall cannot believe it as he holds his head in his hands. The fans thought that was all she wrote and Mykal Adams certainly felt he had it on that occasion. Mykal grabs the ropes and hauls himself up. He looks out at the crowd who are willing him on every step of the way. "Your My Bitch!" The pop is monsterous as Mykal Adams calls for the end. He looks to turn Corral over but Corral shoves him back into the turnbuckle with his boots. Adams comes off and gets rolled up into a Small Package!
One
Two
Thre..... Adams forces his way out of it. Both up.... Hanging clothesline from Corral takes Adams down! Mike falls to his knees and tries to regain his breath. On the outside Stallion begins to stand. Corral battles to his feet, it would seem Mykal Adams is spent. Stallion starts to get up onto the apron as Corral drags Mykal up to his feet. Adams shoves Corral back into Stallion sending him crashing face first across the guardrail............ Love Gun Stung to Corral!
One
Two

Daniel: One, Two, Thre............

Thre............. Jamie Parker drags Mykal Adams from the ring! Boot to the gut of Adams and Parker hooks him up. Substitution(Canadian Destroyer) on the outside! The crowd heat is immense as a smiling Parker calmly rolls into the ring. His smile widens and he hooks Corrals leg.

Daniel: You have to be kidding me!

Max: Never knock an oppertunist Danny boy.

One
Two
And Jamie Parker steals the three! The arena is a cauldron of heat as the fans rain down their hatred on Jamie Parker.

Mina: Here are you winners, Jamie Parker and Mykal Adams!

Parker stands and raises his arms in victory to nothing but heat from this crowd. He does a mock bow before taunting across his waist, saying he will be the next Florida State Champion.

Daniel: That is just diespicable.

Max: That is just brilliant. Look at Jamie Parker, he didn't have to break a sweat and still came out on top.

Daniel: Mykal Adams is the rightful winner of this match.

We are shown a shot backstage of Nick Comoroto holding the Florida State title on his shoulder. He is watching a monitor and nods almost approvingly as Parker celebrates. Nick turns and walks down the corridor.

The camera stays with Nick as he walks down the corridor backstage. As he turns a corner, he bumps into someone and drops his Florida State Title. The other person, who still can’t be seen due to the camera angle, bends down and picks up the title.

Person: I believe this is yours…. For now!

The cameraman finally adjust position to reveal the person holding Nick’s title to be MVP. A cheer goes up from the crowd as he places the title on his shoulder.

Nick: Listen, I don’t have time for your games, MVP. Just give me my damn title!

MVP: I’ll fight you for it!

This again elicits a cheer from those in attendance, but Nick Comoroto is not impressed.

Nick: I don’t think so!

MVP: What’s wrong, are you scared?

Nick: Scared? Don’t make me laugh. Bored, more like! Anyway, like I said, I don’t have time for your childish games, so just give me my title and get the fuck out of my face!

MVP: Come on now Nick, no need to be so touchy. Just one little match, just me you and the strap!

Nick: No chance in hell! How many ways do I have to beat you? I beat you in your stipulation of a hardcore match to win the title at Full Force. I beat you in a submission match last week to retain the title. Why can’t you just get it into that thick fucking skull of yours that you cannot beat me?

MVP feigns a pain in his heart and overacts as if he was having a heart attack.

MVP: Nick, your words are like a dagger through my heart. Now, how about we go out and you back them up in the ring?

Nick: Jeez, you just don’t get it, do you? You will never, NEVER get another shot at this title as long as it has Nick Comoroto on that gold plate. Do you understand that?

MVP: OK man, chill! Damn, you need to get laid to blow off some of that tension. There’s only so much that playing with yourself can do for a guy.

Nick: Now listen here, you jumped piece of trash. Just because you got some action last week from some teenage schoolgirl pretending to be a reporter, does not make suddenly an expert on the matter. That “brazilian” you thought she had, that was just cos she hasn’t even hit puberty yet! Then again, I guess if anyone is going to know the limitations of playing with themselves, its you!

MVP: I can assure you Nick, she wasn’t a schoolgirl. She was ALL WOMAN!

Nick: Whatever! Now, are you quite done yet? I suggest you cherish those few seconds holding my title, because it’s the last time you ever will.

Nick hits MVP with a cheap shot, sending him crashing into some equipment that just so happened to be lying in the corridor. He reaches down and picks up his title, before laying a boot into MVP and walking off.

As we come back from the commercial break, we can see that a ladder has been placed in the middle of the entrance way. Lying against the guardrails are four more ladders. The fans are buzzing. They know it is time for the main event, as they are set to welcome home Jesse Long.

Daniel: Folks, it is time for the main event.

Max: Oh boy o’ boy. This match is gonna be a good one. Jesse Long has everything in his favor tonight.

Daniel: How so?

Max: Long gets his shot at the richest prize in the business. Jesse gets to fight for the WPW World Heavyweight Championship. And, he gets his shot in his hometown of St. Augustine. The stars have aligned for Long. This is his night.

Daniel: Well, Jesse has the home field advantage, but he still has to beat JMC. And that is a tall order.

Max: You know, JMC and Long actually do have a history together.

Daniel: We all know that. It has been well documented.

Max: But did you know that these two have faced each other only twice. And each man has a victory over the other. 1-1 Daniel. This is the rubber match!

Daniel: (shocked) How did you find that out?

Max: It’s called research, Daniel. I told you I am the best color guy in the business. I do my homework.

Daniel: Someone slipped you that tidbit of info didn’t they?

Max: (like he is hiding something) I…ummm….don’t know what you are talking about.

Daniel: Anyways, the lovely Mina Henderson is in the ring as it is time for the main event.

Mina: Ladies and gentlemen. It is time for the Main Event (large pop from the crowd). The following contest is set for one fall, and it is for the WPW World Heavyweight Championship. This match is a ladder match. (Another pop from the crowd). To win this match, you must climb one of the ladders that are outside the ring and retrieve the WPW World Title belt that will be high above me.

“Teardrop” hit’s the PA, and there is actually boos and the fans know who is about to come out. Some of the fans in attendance are cheering for JMC, as the Heavyweight Champ steps out from behind the curtain, with Sophie by his side. The Cassius’ look out at the crowd, and both brother and sister just smile. They are not surprised that the fans are pulling for Long, but it still amuses them. Both JMC and Sophie start to make there way down to the ring. Like Jesse, JMC and Sophie stop when they reach the ladder. JMC looks at it, then looks at his sister, and tells her “Let’s do this!”. Sophie nods and the two of them make there way to the ring. Sophie gets up on the ring apron, while JMC climbs into the ring. JMC does not waste time to pose to the fans. He un straps the title belt from around his waist and then holds it out for referee Paul Turner to take. An O-ring comes down from the roof. Paul Turner hold the belt up for all to see, and then straps the title belt around the ring. Jesse watches the title come up to high above the ring.

Mina: Introducing first…he hails from Bad Segeberg, Germany….weighing in at 195 lbs….he is the WPW World Heavyweight Champion….James Moriarty Cassius.

Daniel: Well, looks like JMC and Sophie were not surprised that they would get this kind of reaction.

Max: You know what I just realized?

Daniel: What?

Arena goes dark. Old Glory appears on the video screen as America The Beautiful begins to play. The chorus of “America” kicks in as a red strobe light fills the gymnasium. As the strobe turns into a continuous red light, yet Jesse Long is nowhere to be seen. The music keeps playing as the crowd chant Jesse's name. Suddenly, the camera switches to backstage and Jesse comes flying out of the door we saw him enter earlier. There is a "William Regal" incident as Jesse pops out as he tries to do up his cargo pants and belt, much to the delight of the women in attendance.

Daniel: My god, did you see that?

Max: How could i miss it? That's the guy who should be calling himself "The Ladies Man"

Jesse runs past some crew members and smiles, shouting that that was the best damn warmup he ever had. Finally, he comes stomping out on stage in the gorilla position (like Paul London). The fans go nuts, and it is obvious that Jesse is pumped up with adrenaline. Jesse looks out at the crowd, points out to them and then yells “This is my night!”. Jesse then sprints down the entrance way, but he stops when he reaches the ladder that is set up. Jesse rubs his right hand on it, and then he gets a look into his eyes as if he knows that this ladder is going to be the one that he climbs to win the title. Jesse then runs and slides into the ring. Jesse climbs a turnbuckle and then looks out at the fans. He has them on his side tonight. Jesse is all smiles.

Mina: And, the challenger, as he hails from Jacksonville Beach, Florida…weighing in at 175lbs……Jesse Long.

Daniel: No question who these fans are cheering for. Jesse Long has the crowd on his side.

Max: And how will JMC react to this? The guy is like the “Uber” baby face of WPW.

Daniel: I’m sure that is the farthest thing on JMC’s mind right now.

Max: You know what I just realized?

Daniel: What?

Max: No Michael Lansing. Where the heck is he? Sophie is here.

Daniel: Good observation there Max. I don’t know where Lansing is.

Patrick signals that it is time to start this match. The bell sounds, and right on cue, both Jesse and JMC meet in the center of the ring. The come face to face, right underneath the title that is hovering above them. Jesse looks up at the belt, then looks right back at JMC. Jesse smiles and tells JMC “That title is mine tonight.”. JMC smiles at Jesse and then extends his hand. Jesse thinks a moment about shaking JMC’s extended hand, but he instead elects to slap JMC silly across the face. The crowd “ooh’s” at the sound of the slap and wait to see what JMC will do. JMC steps back, smiles at Jesse, and then tells the American Icon “that was a bad move”. JMC then wails on Jesse with rights and lefts, as the fans start to shower JMC with heat. Jesse goes backwards, until JMC has Long against the ropes. JMC Irish whips Jesse to the ropes. Jesse comes off and ducks a clothesline attempt by JMC. Long stops and waits for JMC to turn. Jesse goes for a drop kick, but the Champ swats the legs of Long down and Jesse lands on his belly. JMC drops down with an elbow to the small of the back of Long. He repeats this maneuver three more times, before he gets Long back to his feet. JMC backs Jesse into the corner, and then he lands a few knife edge chops. But Jesse starts to fight back, as he lands a couple of rights to the jaw of JMC. The fans start to come alive, but Jesse’s momentum is stopped by a knee to the gut from JMC. JMC then picks Long up and places him on top of the turnbuckle. JMC wastes no time as he climbs up, hooks Long and hit’s a vertical suplex from the top turnbuckle. JMC gets back to his feet as the fans are giving him a lot of boo’s. JMC just smiles. Seems he is willing to be the bad guy for one night.

Daniel: JMC is on top of his game right now. Jesse Long just does not look ready for this big of a match.

Max: How can you say that? Jesse Long has had an illustrious career in his young life. The guy just needed an opportunity here in WPW, and now he has it.

Daniel: Well, it isn’t looking good so far. Heck. The fans booing JMC has not affected the Champ at all.

Max: Well, I will grant you that. I felt that JMC would be hurt by the fans booing him. I mean, the guy is kind of a “softie”.

Daniel: What on Earth are you talking about?

Max: Dude loves the artsy stuff. You know how those guys are. They are kind of “girly”.

JMC picks Jesse up by his head, and then connects with a snap mare. JMC follows this up by a leg drop right across the throat of Long. JMC continues the assault, not wanting to give Jesse any breathing room, as he applies a rear chin lock on Long. After about a minute or so, Long is fighting to get back to his feet. The crowd is urging him on, and they pop loud when Long gets to his feet. Jesse rams an elbow into the stomach of JMC, but JMC does not let go of the hold. So Jesse improvises, as he picks up JMC and hit’s a sidewalk slam. JMC is down, and Jesse is crawling on his knees trying to get some air in his throat. The Champ gets to his feet, as Jesse does the same. JMC charges in at Jesse, but Jesse ducks him and sends him flying over the top rope. But JMC grabs hold of the top rope, and lands on the outside ring apron. Jesse turns, as JMC jumps on the top rope, and comes flying off. But Long is ready, as he connects with a drop kick to the midsection. The fans erupt at that move, as now the tide has turned in favor of the under dog, Jesse Long.

Max: Still think Jesse isn’t ready for this match?

Daniel: That was a very innovative move by Long. Now he needs to seize this opportunity.

Max: You didn’t answer my question.

Daniel: And I will wait till this match is done to answer it. But right now, Jesse has to make the most of this. He has JMC down.

Jesse gets to his feet, and as JMC is getting to his knees, Long comes in a connects with a running drop kick to the kisser of the Champ. Long then gets JMC to his feet and whips him into the ropes. JMC comes off the ropes and Jesse grabs him and connects with a Samoan drop. The fans are buzzing, as they sense that Jesse just might be able to pull this upset off. Jesse then rushes to his feet and goes outside. He climbs the turnbuckle. Jesse comes off the turnbuckle, as the flashbulbs go off. Jesse is looking for the Frog Splash, but at the last second, JMC gets his knees up. Long nails the knees of JMC with a lot of impact. He hit’s the mat, and clutches his midsection. The crowd buzz dies down. Sophie looks on and breathes a comfortable sigh of relief. JMC gets up and makes his way towards Long. He picks Long up and connects with a scoop slam. JMC then gets Long to his feet, and then whips him into the ropes. But Jesse reverses it, sending JMC into the ropes. The Champ comes off the ropes as Long looks for the standing Frankensteiner. But JMC holds onto Long and connects with a power bomb. Sophie jumps up and down with excitement as it looks like her brother has now gotten the momentum back on his side. JMC then locks the leg scissors around the waist of Long, trying to wear him down.

Daniel: JMC looking to wear down Jesse Long. Nice strategy there.

Max: Interesting to see a cruiserweight trying to wear down another cruiserweight.

Daniel: It is odd isn’t it?

Max: (laughs) Yeah. It is. But I can’t fault the Champ for doing this. You weaken your opponent first, then grab the ladder and win the match.

Daniel: Why can’t you be like that all the time?

Max: What do you man? I always make great observations. That is why I am paid to sit here, Danny boy.

JMC has the leg scissors locked on tight, but Long is fighting through the pain. Long starts to beat on the Champ’s right leg, trying to break the hold, but it does no good. Out of desperation, Jesse starts to roll around, but JMC rolls right with him. We then hear the fans come to life, and as a spotlight is shown on the entrance way, out comes Michael Lansing.

Max: And look who is here.

Daniel: Michael Lansing is here, and boy his timing couldn’t have been more better.

Max: Look at the look on JMC’s face.

JMC, hearing the crowd buzzing and also seeing Sophie point to the entrance way, looks and sees an all too familiar face. This causes JMC to release the leg scissors and get to his feet. Lansing is standing right next to the ladder that was set up earlier, and he just looks on and stares down Cassius. JMC returns the stare, but says nothing to his old enemy. Jesse uses this time to gather himself.

Daniel: Something tells me that the Champ wouldn’t mind getting his hands on Lansing.

Max: (excited) This just keeps getting better. Lansing waited to come out just at the right time. You know he had to plan this. He knew he could get into the Champ’s head.

Daniel: You might be right about that. So much history exists between Lansing and JMC.

Max: And all the while, Jesse Long is getting time to recuperate.

And right on cue, with the Champ’s eyes focused on Lansing, Jesse clobbers the Champ from behind with a axe handle to the back of the head. Lansing then grabs the ladder and makes his way towards the ring. The fans are all on there feet now. Jesse is stomping away on JMC for a few seconds and then he gets the Champ to his feet. Kick to the midsection, and then Long sets up JMC. Long gets JMC up on his shoulders and looks for the Death Valley Driver. But Cassius wiggles free. Long turns around, and as he does JMC kicks Long in the gut. No! Long catches the boot of Cassius, twirls him around, and then nearly decapitates him with a hard clothesline. Lansing slides the ladder into the ring, and the excitement in the arena starts to build. Long looks at the ladder, and then gets a look in his eyes. Long grabs JMC, picks him up, grabs him by the throat. Chokeslam connects! The fans let out a huge pop. Sophie looks on from the outside with a worried look on her face. Long then grabs the ladder, but instead of setting it up in the ring and climbing for the gold, he decides to put the ladder on top of JMC. Long then points to the turnbuckle, and the fans are going nuts. Long makes his way over to the turnbuckle, and starts to climb it.

Max: What is he doing? He has this thing won. Come on Jesse. Smarten up.

Daniel: I think Jesse is trying to prove something here tonight Max. He wants to win, but he also wants to show everyone that he deserves to be a major player here in WPW.

Max: Well, if he would just climb the ladder and grab the belt, then that is all the proof he would need.

Daniel: Remember Max. This is personal between the two of them.

Jesse is standing on the top turnbuckle, as he motions to the crowd. The fans are ready with there camera’s. But Jesse has taken too much time. Somehow, someway, Cassius comes to and he throws the ladder off of him, nips up, and the sprints towards Jesse. Cassius climbs the turnbuckle, grabs an unsuspecting Long, and then connects with a release German suplex (ala Kurt Angle). The flashbulbs go off anyways, as the fans appreciate the move made by the Champ. Lansing can’t believe it, but he doesn’t realize that JMC is still on top of the turnbuckle. Lansing looks the Champs way, and before he knows it, Cassius comes flying off the top turnbuckle with a cross body. JMC gets to his feet, and then he eyes one of the ladders that is leaning up against the guardrail. Cassius wastes little time, and he grabs one and then waits for Lansing to get to his feet. Lansing does, but (for his troubles) he is greeted with a ladder shot right to the mouth. Lansing goes down. JMC looks down at him and has a wicked smile on his face. He liked doing that to his old enemy. Sophie is on the other side of the ring looking relieved. JMC then turns to slide his ladder into the ring, but as he holds it out in front of him, he doesn’t realize that Long is up. Jesse comes sprinting towards him, does a baseball slide, and kicks the ladder right into JMC. The fans are going crazy. Long then gets on the outside and sees that the ladder landed on top of Cassius. Long wastes little time. He jumps on the top rope, then does a back flip off the rope, and crashes down on top of the ladder and JMC. The fans applaud like crazy, as now all three men are down on the outside. That move, while flashy, did effect Long as he is grabbing his midsection.

Daniel: High risk maneuver there for Jesse Long.

Max: It looked sweet, but was it worth it?

Daniel: Only time will tell, Max.

Jesse manages to get to his feet. He then looks and sees that JMC is still down. Jesse then gets into the ring, and then goes to get the ladder that is still inside the ring. Jesse sets it up, taking way too much time in doing so. Jesse has it set, and he gets ready to start climbing the ladder. But by this time, JMC has managed to get the ladder (that was on top of him) off. He gets to his feet, and sees that Jesse is climbing the ladder. JMC slides into the ring, and then grabs Jesse’s left leg. Jesse is shocked that JMC is back up. Sophie is glad to see her brother is not out of it. Jesse kicks JMC off of him, and then tries to frantically climb the ladder. JMC then decides to go up the other side, as he climbs as fast as he can to catch up to Jesse. Jesse is at the top of the ladder, and he looks to go and stand so he can grab the title belt hanging above. But the Champ has managed to make it to the top in record time, and he and Jesse start to trade jabs with one another. Long lands a hard right, and it looks like JMC might fall off the ladder. But then, JMC lands a hard right, and it looks like Long could fall off the ladder. Both men keep on trading blows, but neither man can knock the other off the ladder. Jesse then rakes the eyes of JMC, and then tries to ram the Champ’s head into the top of the ladder. But JMC blocks it, and lands a nice uppercut to Long. JMC then grabs Jesse and rams his head into the top of the ladder. Jesse loses his balance and falls off. All JMC now has to do is stand on the top of the ladder and grab the belt. But he chooses not to. Instead. Cassius stands up, holds his hands up, jumps off the top of the ladder. Swanton connects.

Daniel: JMC could have won this match. But he instead chose to hit the
Swanton. He did that at Full Force. Wow!

Max: The Champ will end up regretting that decision. He had the win.

Daniel: Like I said Max, this is personal.

The fans, even though they are pulling for Jesse, appreciate the maneuver from JMC. JMC gets to his feet, and looks to climb the ladder. By this time, Michael Lansing is back to his feet. Seeing that Jesse is down, and that JMC is looking to win this match, he climbs up on the ring apron. Paul Turner is quick to try and get Lansing off the ring apron. JMC sees this, and it looks like his rage is getting the best of him. JMC goes over, and yanks Lansing into the ring. JMC wastes no time as he stomps a mud hole in Lansing. JMC then gets Lansing to his feet. JMC stands in front of him, smiles, and then connects with the Cassius Driver! Sophie is all smiles. But Jesse is getting to his feet. He is wobbly, but he is up. Cassius is looking down at the fallen Lansing, when Jesse comes up, grabs the Champ, turns him around and then lands the Twist of Fate. This gets an enormous pop from the St. Augustine faithful. Jesse is down. JMC is down. But Jesse is stirring, as the fans are just cheering him on to get up and grab the title.

Max: Come on Jesse. You can do it!

Daniel: Michael Lansing’s distraction has paid dividends for Jesse Long.

Max: Told you JMC would regret not grabbing the title when he should have.
Daniel: You might be right, Max.

Jesse is sitting up and trying to get to his feet. After a few seconds, Jesse is to his feet. He looks at the ladder, and he hears the crowd. Jesse knows that his chance is now. He can feel the title within his grasp. Jesse starts to climb the ladder. The fans get louder and louder with every rung that Jesse climbs. Jesse gets to the top, stands, and then looks at the belt. He knows it is within his grasp. He starts to grab at it, but then the ladder starts to shake. The camera looks down, to show JMC kicking the bottom of the ladder. The Champ is doing all he can to save his title. Jesse is trying to do all he can to grab the belt and unhook it. But before he can, JMC kicks the ladder one good time, and it starts to fall to the right. And Jesse Long is falling with it. Jesse lands on the outside of the ring, his body making a wicked thud sound when he hit’s the floor. The fans are in shock. They thought Jesse had it. JMC looks relieved that his belt is secure for now.

Daniel: JMC saved his title.

Max: That is not fair! He can’t kick the ladder like that. He could’ve seriously injured Jesse.

Daniel: It’s all legal, Max. JMC did what he had to do to save his title.

Max: I still say it was unfair. Did you hear the sound Jesse’s body made when he connected with the floor?

Daniel: I did, and it was sick!

Jesse is down on the floor. The ladder is leaning against the ropes. JMC is still down, trying to get to his feet. The Champ then manages to get to his feet, and then he leans against the ropes. JMC looks at the ladder that is lying against the ropes, and then he picks it up. JMC then sets the ladder right underneath the World Heavyweight Championship belt. JMC then starts to climb the ladder, as the fans are begging Jesse to get to his feet. But the American Icon is down, and it seems that he is out of it. The sound that his body made when he hit the floor was obviously for real. Jesse is not moving at all. JMC is making his way up the ladder, and then he gets to the top. The champ then stops and looks at where Jesse is. Long still has yet to move, and it seems that JMC realizes that he is about to beat his old enemy from that other federation. JMC stands at the top of the ladder, unhooks his title belt from the ring, grabs it, and then climbs back down the ladder. Referee Paul Turner calls for the bell, as the fans in the gymnasium shower the ring with heat towards JMC.

Mina: The winner of the match, and still the World Heavyweight Champion…..James Moriarty Cassius!

Daniel: Well, that ended in an unusual manner.

Max: That sound that Jesse’s body made when it connected with the floor just will not escape my mind for awhile.

Daniel: I know. That was a sickening sound.

Max: I don’t think Jesse has even moved.

Daniel: Well, the EMT’s are coming down to check on him. But folks, it was a hard fought victory for JMC. Jesse Long fought bravely, but The Champ overcame being the “enemy” of the fans and won this match. Kudos to the Champ.

Sophie is in the ring, hugging her brother and congratulating him on his successful title defense. JMC puts the title over his right shoulder, and then looks out at where Jesse Long is lying. The EMT’s are with Jesse, checking on him and trying to figure out what is wrong with him. It appears the fall he took knocked him out, so the EMT’s use some sniffing salt to help revive him. JMC looks on, but then he and Sophie exit the ring and make there way up the entrance way. The sniffing salt works, as Jesse comes to. The EMT’s want to take no chances with Jesse, but the American Icon tells them that he is capable of walking out on his own two feet. The EMT’s reluctantly agree, and as Jesse gets to his feet, the fans begin to give him a standing ovation. Jesse makes his way up the entrance way and then to where the curtains are. He stops and then raises a fist into the air, which gets a humungous pop from the fans.

Daniel: Well, Jesse Long is walking tall.

Max: Good for him. But I still think there is something wrong with him. The EMT’s did not want him walking out of here.

Daniel: Hopefully we will find out more on Long’s condition. But folks, this ends another fantastic episode of Tuesday Night Turmoil. We hope you have enjoyed the show. And thank you for allowing us into your homes. We will see you next Tuesday night. Goodnight!

Dan Vs. Justin
I always suspected there is a difference between opener and curtain jerker. Curtain jerker’s are good matches while openers are taking the black jelly beans out so you can get to the red ones. This was a curtain jerker. A match well written and defnately a kip up for both men. This mtch had calibre very close to mainevent and if it were a lesser fed, the writing could have damn well been! Good work *looks up name at bottom of page* Duff.

Dreamer/Whyndam:
Really sounded like a lovers tiff what capped it off was “you’re impossible to talk to when you’ve lost”. I was expecting Whyndam to say “What about my needs? What about me?” any second after that point. I wonder if they shouldn’t have come to blows instead of dreamer taking his anger out on an inanimate object, the poster. It seems like he cares for him, if they’re to remain a team then that’s the way to go but if they’re building for a showdown, then attacking one another would have worked better.

Ryo Vs. Goodman:
Those who read the rps knew the lack of doubt since ryo didn’t talk at all. Well, when does he? If he had appeared then this would have been great because he might have taken down another maineventer, but he still wnet toe to toe and took a beatin that he withstood for a while.. Can’t really blame anyone on that so he became a brocked victim.. hmm haven’t seen many of them lately! And now I top ribbing the psycho.

Cowboys Vs. Brooke & mark.
Heels trying to be faces, top stuff in my booking eyes. Quick Ken and Nic rib that some of us get, thanks Judge. I wait for the JMC Vs Billy James match so everyone gets confused as to which one of us is ‘James’. I almost saw Brooke as the face, whwihc I have no problem with after all she’s a cool heel, however would it work in the end? I kinda did that with JMC, went from heel to face without changing much apart from who I fought and who I insulted. Brooke probably won’t turn now but I will never be surprised.

Jesse:
Everytime they mention St. Augustine, I always hear the “Band of Horses” song in my head… This worked to push Long as 10 a face and 20 rather credible as a beleiveable and near title-worthy character. It also alluded to Hardy, our mutual friend, which adds suspense because I almost read this as a certainty that The Enigma would appear.

Scorch Vs. Ray
Ray was more nimble than I suspected, perhaps it is the wrong image to give with the big man but those series of rolls would be best suited for two more technical and lighter stars. That said, the rest of the match stuck to characterisatiosn very well. I’m not sure if the lack of talk about the one was good or not, it questions their togetherness as a team.

More soon!

Justin Dreamer vs Dan Murph: Im not so sure about the escape from the Cobra Clutch DufFugee. It just seem to be a move that requires more flexibility then I'd imagine Dreamer to have. I loved how Max changes his tune halfway through the match when he realise the devious ways of Dreamer, funny moment. The match was a solid opener, got the show off on the right foot. One problem IMO is that I felt Dan Murph was more of a face in this match then Dreamer and considering Murph is a goon, I think it is a better idea for him to be playing the heel a little bit more. Anywho, good opener and it kept the reader wanting more from the show.

Dreamer/Wyndham: Remember when these two were friends? I liked this segment, it kept the going show and is developing a feud already heading into Whiplash. Benny is getting quite the mouth on him

Brock Goodman vs Daisuke Ryo: *Weep* Bit of a squash but Ryo did give ol' Brock a nice going over from time to time in the match. Kept the show ticking over, nothing spectacular.

Texas Homeboys vs The Oddest Couple: Nice littl heel mic time to get this one off. I have always respected a little bit of heelism before a match begins. First up, great commentary throughout this match and I loved from the start how you worked hard to make Foxx & James the true heels of the match, having Mike slap Brooke for instance. I thought that Foxx&James came out of this one looking like a strong cohesive tag team unit, their double teaming was fantastic throughout. The finish kind of came quickly but it was good for a midcard tag match. Having Jessica play a roll in it is vital IMO for establishing her as a valet who'll get involved. Baker & Hitman Mark may just make a tag team worth talking about.

Jesse Long: I dunno............ Isn't Jesse Long a heel? I think with the way Jesse has been booked of late he would have been better of cutting a heelish promo on the school and the town. It was a great segment as a stand alone segment but when everything is taken into account from last week and the past then it just doesnt work.

Scorch vs 'Big' Ray William: The match was fine but I felt the writing and description was a little weak. I couldn't visualise the begining of the match at all and so my view of everything was tainted right from off. Some of the action didnt fit the man in the match. For example, no one would believe Ray Williams getting involved in a fall for fall roll up situation with Scorch, Ray is 6'10" and it doesnt fit his size or style. It all felt rushed and didnt measure up to what came before on the night or in the Floride State Title Tournament as a whole.

The Darkness: I dunno?

Shadow/Amanda: Again........... I dunno? Something is brewing but Christ Im clueless.

The Kurt Angle............ Apologies, The One Invitational: Again, I don't know quite where we are going with this but it served its purpose I suppose.

Dust: Looking back over this I felt it had teething problems but I know where I am going from here now. 'I am human and I need to be loved'

Corral & Stallion vs Adams & Parker: My match and so I'll just comment on how I felt when I was finished it. Honestly I wasnt enthused with how the match came off in the end. The ideas I had for the match were mostly scrapped as I wrote and so Im annoyed with myself for that. It's okay I suppose but I wanted to put forth a better effort.

Nick/MVP: Was it just me or did MVP seem like a little childish bitch here? I felt Nick came out of this verbal confrontation the strong, the brazilian comment really put him over big time. Good read and I guess Comoroto/MVP III will have to be on the cards for Whiplash.

Jesse Long vs JMC: Great match Chazzito. Ladder matches are a cunt to write but you pulled it off perfectly you old bastard! I take back my earlier comments on the Jesse Long interview because I suppose it was about right to have him play the face for one night only and JMC showed class in allowing him to do so. Great match up, great use of the ladder and no overkill in that regard. Hats off Chazz, you've done it again.

Overall: Very very solid show. From top to bottom with the segments and everything else I felt this was one of the best Turmoils to come along in a long time. There was no fluff here and thought Whiplash is a bit away yet, one felt that WPW is definately gearing itself up for it. Solid show, 75% IMO.

Justin Dreamer vs Dan Murph: Im not so sure about the escape from the Cobra Clutch DufFugee. It just seem to be a move that requires more flexibility then I'd imagine Dreamer to have.

normally, i wouldnt comment, but i'm totally lost. The guy is sitting on the mat with his legs stretched out in front of him. He bends his knees in so he can get easier access to his boot. He removes a pair of brass knucks from that boot and smacks Dan about the head with them. What's flexible about that? Any idiot can bend their knees, even deformed people from Cork, like yourself :surprised

Humph. I can tell the announcers are really excited about my protege skipping over to WPW, judging by the way they couldn't start talking about him. Want me to throw together a few lines, Duff? I've got the next promo lined up and even the first match written. It's a killer, I promise ya.

Anyway: Review.

Could almost start and stop with the opening vid.

Video: venerable

Murph: Magic

Goodman: Glorious

Brooke: Big'uns (There is only one Dream Team.....and it's contained within Booke's bra)

Scorch: Still

Dust: Dick Dustardly

Stallion: Sizzlin'

JMC: Jammy. Prepare thyself for an end like the tragedies of old Verona, come this Sunday, lamb's livered varlet!

Impressive stuff start to finish. Now all you need is someone known to millions of internet wrestling fans, someone with a proven pedigree in the game, someone earning a pittance that his talent little deserves, someone called..........ah! That would be telling (plus, I haven't negotiated his release elsewhere yet)

There is a typo in the card. It says "Had" instead of "Head"

Very nice show. I also like how we have 3 reviews up already, and how attendance was up from last week even though there were not many reviews (I dont think) But Ill take that attendance boost.

The show was good, one of the better ones in the past few weeks, which is a plus. And when a 2 and a half page Squash match gets a 6/10 in a review, we are making great progress.

a typo? are you for real? Red alert guys! we'll need to shut the fed down until we can isolate this typo and install appropriate safety measures to ensure it never happens again.

Of course there's going to be the odd typo, the show is 22,578 words long! I'd also go so far to say that there is probably more than one typo.

but, like you said, there were some very encouraging signs in that show. I think the fact that there were a lot of RPs helped boost the attendance. As a word of advice, try not to put too much emphasis on the ratings that some people give individual matchesm, but concentrate on overall show scores instead.

A solid show again this week, I can't do an in depth review yet, but I hope to have one done soon enough.

I will touch on a few things though.

First, the video at the start of the show. The idea is a good one and the concept is interesting and compared to other feds I have been a part of, unique. The execution however, I felt, was lacking tremendously. The song is cliched, but it does work and the intro there is fine, but it just cuts out abrubtly for the ending rather then a nice fade into the logo and it comes off awkwardly. The biggest problem however is with the footage. "Borrowing" from ROH is understandable, since WPW is imaginary, so to have videos we have to borrow them from somewhere, but the video is littered with ROH banners and logos. The video starts with WPW, and ends with WPW, otherwise it's like a commercial for pre-Reborn ROH. I assume it would take quite a bit of effort to take the logo out of the frames, but at the very least, in future videos either avoid shots with the logo, or blur it out. I get that you aren't paid to do it, but it would be much better if it at least look somewhat professional. I appreciate the effort that was put into this one, but I'd be lying if I said I like it compared to what it could have been.

And does the Florida State Title come with free shoes?

Apologies Duffty, I picked up on the Cobra Clutch wrong. I figured it was a seated Cobra Clutch where-by Dan was on Justin Camel Clutch style, hence the flexibility mistake.

Part two

One:
It will be interesting to see how regular this becomes as I can see it working the same as the white boy challenge or the Kurt thing, I can imagine Whyndam or Dust on soon enough and it can help push other feuds while still making One strong.. This scene reminded me of Benoit Vs. Henry before he won the world title. Similar tap out ending and all!

Dust:
Are you trying to be loved or summon Beetlejuice? I am now interested to see who this guy is, Boris being strangely absent suggests something that might mean he ahs a new bodyguard, or is this a new character completely? Questions, questions, questions.

Corral/Stallion Vs. Parker/Adams:
Continuity was good in the sense of Stallion and Adams both being ladies men, both jumping at the Bella chance. The match was a great tag read, the win cemented Parker as probably the most credible heel in the upper card that isn’t Florida champ (For now) while Adams, Stallion and Corral show that they’re all big.

Jesse Vs. James (End references to cowboys!)
I’m glad how you wrote me to the heel of the match, it was quite classy how I allowed it to continue. It was nice to see a heelish me again but being face is still almost more fun. Sometiems the problem with ladder matches is that you don’t expect the finish between all the big spots and when it does come it surprises you. The first time I read the amtch, the win seemed to come from nowhere but on the second read it made a lot more sense so well worked there Chazz! Jesse is injured now, interesting to see how this goes over.

Overall this might be the best of shows so far, Murph/Dreamer, Adams & Parker Vs. Stallion and Corral. A lot of these matches were nice good reads so this week I think you all deserve a pat on the back!

Keep those reviews-a-comin, any reviews before Monday will qualify you to win the card on after hours, and any up until the next TNT is posted will give you 5 points for a standard review, and 10 for a quality one.

To answer a question. Attendance rose this week, yes. The reviews we did get kept it from dropping, but they didn't rise it by the number of them. What rose it was last week's show was pretty good from top to bottom, and it's looking like both the number of reivews and quality will rise this show as well. We're almost at that 1,000 attendance milestone, just a little bit more to go!

Oh, and I changed my mind about something I said in a previous post. I said when we reached an area marker no cards would be given, just badges to everyone on the active roster. Well that's changed now, because while badges will still be given, you will also recieve limited edition cards every time you reach an attandance milestone as well. That means, yes, everyone on the active roster. Woo hoo?

Woa, alot of ROH logos in that video, but I guess not much you can really do about it. Will perhaps post a full review later, read the whole thing last night and enjoyed the show from top to bottom this week. There was a match or two that seemed to drag, but overall this has been one of the best TNT's to date.

Chazz

Time for Chazz to get his review in. According to Duffers, I don't do enough of them. Maybe I should do a "Ken" type review of the show. Come to think of it, I can't do that as only Ken is capable of getting away with the kind of review he does. Anyways, here we go.

DREAMER vs. MURPH: Once again, Turmoil starts the show with a solid match. Duff used Dreamer's current losing streak in this match, and also played to Dreamer's hardcore style that we have come to expect. Duff also used Murph's size advantage well in this match. Sometimes, you can go overboard when there is a "distinct" size advantage one wrestler has over the other, but Duff didn't do that. When it was appropriate, Duff would have Max or Daniel mention the size factor (mostly when Murph would hit a power move). Dreamer tried to cheat by using his hardcore tactics, but in the end, it wasn't enough. I like how Dan wanted the ref to check Dreamer for weapons. Dreamer was clean, but in the middle of the match, Dreamer got sneaky and had a broken bottle in one hand, while he secretly tucked away a pair of brass knucks that would be used later. That is just good writing there folks. Really good opening match that helped set the tone for the rest of the show. Good job Duff.

DREAMER/WHYNDAM SEGMENT: I am interested to see where this goes. This was perhaps the best interaction we have seen from these two. It really summed up alot of things, but we still are left wondering just where in the heck these two are going. Are they friends? Will they be enemies? Time will tell. I like how Dreamer pointed out to Whyndam that he (Whyndam) did not take things seriously, and that he needed to or else he would never get ahead in the wrestling business. Whyndam comes off as the type of guy who is "just happy to be here". The ending was interesting, as Whyndam had some rather not so nice words to describe his "friend".

DAISUKE vs. GOODMAN: I laughed my ass of when Daisuke came out to his music. That is just clever stuff there. Anyways, I like how Goodman was used in this match. When Caroline tried to distract him, Goodman almost fell for it. And the commentary was right on top of it. We all know Goodman and Sophie's story, and this played well into the match. Anyways, it was a short match, but it was effective. Ryo got in some good offense, but Brock's power prevailed. It will be interesting to see where these two men go from here. Oh, and Goodman winking at Caroline and then chuckling as he walked away was just brilliant. Could we see another side of Goodman coming out?

COWBOYS vs. BROOKE/HITMAN MARK: This was the weakest I have seen Brooke in a match thus far. But, it was bound to happen. The Cowboys did all the typical tag team tactics by focusing on one of there opponents (which happened to be Brooke). I like how the Cowboys came out and wanted respect, but the fans booed them anyway. At first (due to how the match ended), I really wasn't sure how the promo cut by the Cowboys really fit in. But, after reading the beginning of the match a second time, I can see how it all works. The Cowbuys want respect, and they planned on getting it by beating Brooke and Mark. Well, reality is a bitch, as the Cowboys lose. The beginning made the ending that much sweeter. Anyways, the match itself had a good flow to it. Judge knows how to write tag matches. Heck, he is better than me when it comes to it. Dream Team reference should bring some smiles to alot of folks.

JESSE'S PROMO: This was a solid promo...up until the ending where Jesse wanted to go bang some hot teacher. I just thought that last bit was unnecessary. In any case, this was the best promo Jesse has done in a long time, and I was glad to see it. It really set the stage for the main event.

SCORCH vs. BIG RAY: This was a hard match for me to get in to. But I also know that Duff and HBK619 wrote this. It is hard when two people write a match, cause it usually means one starts it while the other finishes it. This macth suffered from that. It wasn't shit. I am not saying that at all. You can tell that two people had a hand in it. Scorch winning was the right call, and now the second round to the tournament is set.

RISEN/SHADOW/AMANDA SEGMENT: I like this storyline, simply because there are so many ways this thing can go. Will be interesting to see how it all develops. Amanda is now a competitor? Wow! Guess she wants to get back at Brooke. Good for her!

ONE INVITATIONAL: Carlos coming out made this thing really work. He needed to show that he runs WPW, and he made this very clear to The One. Of course, Carlos picks a guy that he thinks will kill one, but Unit went down in a very short match. I like this Invitational thing as long as Carlos is involved in some capacity. Remember. These two are not done.

DUST PROMO: WOW! PK has turned Dust to the dark side. Guess losing to JMC at Full Force and then the upset loss to Ryo will do that to a guy. Kids. Stay tuned. I have this feeling that Dust is coming back and he won't be in a good mood once he does. Excellent promo, PK.

STALLION/CORRAL vs. PARKER/ADAMS: MOTN here kiddies. First, Stallion comes out and gets a look from Bella. Then Adams comes out and throws his hoodie to her. Corral was not happy. But then, in what was the best move in this match, Parker comes down with a chair in hand and sits and watches the match. That is good stuff there. Adams fought bravely, as he had to deal with two talented men. All three got there fair share of offense in, and Adams played the role of the baby face that just won't quit. I about died when Adams had the win, and Parker came in, hit his finisher, and stole the victory. That was brilliant planning there, as it sets the stage for the tournament. Could we be looking at Adams and Paker meeting in the near future? I'm sure Stallion and Corral will have a thing or two to say about that. Great match.

MVP/COMOROTO SEGMENT: If this is going to lead to a third and final match between these two, then this segment served its' purpose. But for some reason, this came off as flat to me. What does Nick have to prove? Hell, he even said it in this promo. I know that our Florida State Champion needs to be seen more on Turmoil, but this just did him little justice. Maybe I am overlooking something here. Anyways, like I said, we get a third and fianl match between these two, then OK. But this segment just did not sit well with me.

LONG vs. JMC: Well, I wrote this so I won't grade myself (I leave that to you guys). I will mention a few things though. First of all, I am glad to hear you guys liked this match. Writing a ladder match is a tricky thing, mostly cause you can over do it with the ladder spots. I didn't want to do that, and I hope it showed. Secondly, it was nice to write JMC playing the heel role, allowing Jesse to be the fan favorite. That was an easy call for me to make. Gald you liked that, Promo.

OVERALL: Another solid show. WPW had a great PPV in Full Force, and we haven't slowed down since. The tournamnet is really getting interesting, we have some great storylines developing, and the rp's have been very good. Kudos to all you guys.

STAR OF THE NIGHT: For the first time, goes to a staff member. Duff worked his ass of this past week, and he deserves credit for that. Judge and I had shit to do on Tuesday and Duff stepped up to the plate. BIG....BIG Kudos to Duff.
