I used to do something like this over at IOW so I thought I would do it here and see how well it goes over. I just posted this thread so that you guys would know ahead of time. I'll edit this post tomorrow and write my review of the show and then we can discuss the show. I do the same thing for SD too. No posts yet please as I'll edit this post and place my Raw review here then we can debate. The only reason I didn't do it last week for SD was because I honestly was in and out of sleep watching that cluster**** of a show after the cruiser match. Didn't feel it was worth my time after that although I heard that good things came from the Dupree/Cena feud, Eddie Guerrero, and Rey/RVD. Well I just thought you guys should know. Hopefully we can make this thing work like it used to work back in IOW's prime and the topic will span multiple pages of intelligent wrestling discussion. See ya tomorrow for my Raw review. P.S. this site hasn't disappointed thus far. Hopefully it can continue to be a place of intelligent wrestling discussion.

Unknown, you're easily one of my top 3 favorite posters and I'm glad you're bringing this over to WP. I also hope we can get pages of intellegent discussion going here also.

It seems to be a good show.
Shelton Benjamin Vs Triple H
Good opener, but was kinda obvious that Benjamin wasn't going over HHH again. I hope this HHH/HBK feud is over at Bad Blood in the hell in a cell because i am pretty much getting bored of this. Shawn Michaels suspended. Why did they suspend him? I think it is to build it up with HHH and HBK not having to do nothing. Or something like that. But i am confused to why they suspended him. HHH for the title next week, oh god! I hope he does not win the belt next week because deep down something is telling me he is going to win the title. I hope that this feeling doesn't come to true, we might see another HHH/HBK match for the title. But anyway i won't let that feeling come out because Benoit is going to win the match and retain the title.
Batista Vs Tajiri
Pretty much say that Batista obvious going to win this. It was an ok match on the look of it, the ending of the match with the green mist coming out of his mouth. "JR speculates that he may have some internal injuries." How can he have internal injuries? Does he have different coloured blood or something lol. That has to be a dumb comment on his behalf. Anyway, is this going to be a feud between the 2 or just a one of match because that beating he gave Tajiri is going to start of the feud. Tajiri is going to come back and try and get revenge on Batista. Kind of like of what happened to Mic Foley, he kept getting a bad beating, but wouldn't stay down.
Randy Orton (c) vs. Edge
A slow start to the match with headlocks, but soon got momentum. I hate when there is commercials in the middle of the match it is just annoying. Edge is on top whipping Orton into the stairs before the break and when we come back Orton as a near fall on Edge. It might of been better for Orton if he got the win by himself. But either way he got the win, which looks to be a decent match.
Victoria, Nidia & Stacy Keibler vs. Jazz, Gail Kim & Molly Holly
Not bother saying anything about this matc. But it is good to see Stacy and Nidia back.
Matt Hardy vs. Val Venis
Nothing much really to point out. I wonder what the answer to the question, i can't remember what theb question was as i didn't watch Raw last week.
Rob Conway vs. Eugene
Eugene defeating Conway, kinda obvious, but i am looking forward to seeing this match. I heard that Eugene was well over with the crowd, and if this is true this gimmick might just work. This should be good to see.
Chris Jericho vs. Christian (Steel Cage Match)
Good match on the looks of it. Looking forward to watching this match to se how good it was. But it looks to be a good main event for this week.
I should be watching this weeks Raw because it looks very good to be honest.

Thanks for the compliments The Kid. I don't wanna seem nasty but next time please read the post Road Warrior. Ah well, everyone makes mistakes and all is forgiven. Please don't take that as a shot at you or anything of the sort.
Now, on to Raw. The show started with a video package of last weeks World Title matchup. The package was put together well.
The Shelton Benjamin vs. HHH matchup was pretty good while it was going. I like that they gave Benjamin enough offense to stay credible but at the same time gave HHH enough to stay as a top heel. I still think that he needs to cut a few more promos to establish his character better. A change of music would be good too because his current music doesn't really get you hyped for his entrance. I like the way that they had HBK come out and take it to HHH. While I didn't like that it caused the match prematurely and they really didn’t really acknowledge Benjamin after the fact, I like that it helped to spark the feud between HHH and HBK. While I still feel as if HBK and Benoit should go at it at Bad Blood, I’ll give the HHH vs. HBK thing a chance. This could go down in history as one of the greatest wrestling rivalries. Also while the security angle/suspension thing is overdone, this one was done pretty well. I liked that they had him thrown out of the building rather than arresting him.
The Flair promo in the back was done pretty well as always. This guy will always be one of my favorite talkers. He is good at getting Evolution hyped up. Whenever he speaks you just know results will be seen.
The Stacy promo to setup the divas tag matchup was done well. Nidia needs a little more building and a breast reduction before I can take her seriously. Those things look horrible. The backstage promo with Jericho was good and really showed that Jericho can show an intense side. Hopefully we’ll see more of it.
The Orton vs. Edge IC Title matchup was done very well. The two contrasting styles meshed very well. I like how the action started out slow and quickened up into a series of near falls and nice looking spots. Flair’s interjection in the matchup was ok and added some more life to the match not that it needed it. Orton winning with the rollup was sort of anticlimactic but it still worked. As long as he wins matches with the RKO (especially PPV’s) his credibility won’t be hurt but the needing outside help to win seems like a regression in his character. It’s not that big of a deal though seeing as some top level heels still do.
The six woman tag matchup was done fair but seemed to be a little short. The match did serve its purpose though which was to get Gail Kim and her new submission move over while progressing her feud with Victoria at the same time. It’s good to see the women get a good a feud with substance instead of something thrown together. It’s sad that the cruiserweight division doesn’t receive the same attention from the higher ups in the WWE.
The Christian interview was done well. The angle between Trish and Lita was funny as hell. Finally Trish will get back into action and I can’t wait. The angle with Matt/Kane/Lita was furthered in a good way. I just hope this doesn’t end with Lita turning on Matt. It would be taking the easy way out and Kane doesn’t need another Tori right now.
The Eugene vs. Rob Conway matchup was done nicely. I am going to like to see how this thing plays out with Regal feeling like he’s stuck with Eugene. I would have rather of seen Regal staying face and helping Eugene out but hey, I’ll see how it plays out.
I also thought the video package was done well with Benoit. I’m glad that Benoit is finally getting what he deserves. It’s good to see the guys with the best workrate hold the main belts instead of seeing the belt bounced around between two guys.
The cage matchup was excellent even though I wish it would have been longer. I like how they pushed Jericho at the end of the matchup by having him climb on the top of the cage looking on like a champ. Christian got enough offense to stay credible while Jericho got in more than enough to push him higher up the card where he hopefully stays. I am looking forward to the battle royal and another edition of Raw. Rumor has it that Kane will win the matchup and go on to feud with Benoit. While I don’t think this should happen, I feel he can do it as long as he doesn’t align himself with Lita. They need to have Kane go crazy because Lita doesn’t make the right choice and destroy both Lita and Matt causing them both to be taken away by the ambulance. He needs to then carry that same anger and momentum to the battle royal which would make him seem that more dominant and like that much more of a credible #1 contender. As a whole I give Raw a 9/10. The show seemed to switch gears a bit in order to begin to start and to also further angles going into Bad Blood which is completely fine. Keep up the good work Raw crew. Hopefully SD can begin to get better like Raw has even though the WWE treats it as the B show and pays little attention to making the show successful.
