Is the ROH Pure Title gone?

August 16th: There is a lot of confusion now about the status of the Pure Title. We hope to have word from ROH World & Pure Champion Bryan Danielson soon about the title situation.

To be honest i think it would be a better idea to have the two titles unified to one as the Pure Title although it has developed some quality matches in truth was a bit of an odd title and never really added anything to the ROH Shows. I'm not sure if ROH needs another title as the idea of wrestlers working for the World Title is usually a good incentive. Thoughts?

I say leave it how it is. The Pure Title is a title for those who are close to the World Title but can;t get lucky enough to win. Joe really made it what it is, holding onto the title for a long ass time before dropping the title. That made me think that the title meant something so a person would defend his title and keep it for that long. But that's just my opinion.
