Someone new and inexperienced to the Best of the Best tournament can either catch you off guard, or be an easy count of 3 to simply pass you onto the next round. What will CZW Training School graduate Sabian, the newest addition to this years Best of the Best 4 be? Will he be a threat…or will he simply be a 3 count for the experienced collection of superstars we at CZW already have building for July 10th, such as Bobby Quance and B-Boy.

Furthering his wrestling training with CZW in the summer of 2002, he was on the road to achieving his goal of working for CZW, a goal he had set himself going all the way back to his early training days of 1999, in the Hawkins Gym, North Philadelphia. He was given his debut for CZW in a small Vineland show in late 2002, and although Sabian had reached the goal he set himself, he hadn’t made the lasting impression on the CZW fans or management that would see him back in the CZW fold on a regular basis. Sabian kept working hard however, and almost one year later; Sabian had one more bite at the cherry. It was on a wet, bitter night in Woodbury, New Jersey for “Pain in the Rain 2”, where Sabian would take on his friend, and training partner Joker. In a good, fast paced match up, the heavy rain couldn’t overshadow the fact that Sabian had made that impression he was looking for in Vineland, one year ago. In his second opportunity Sabian had pulled through….he had realised his goal and was finally on the full time CZW roster.

With determination Sabian had reached a goal he had set himself in life, and to become Best of the Best you need to take yourself that extra mile, work out in the gym that extra hour, and not aim for a target on level with yourself, but on one that is stretching your talent and endurance to the very limits. To carry yourself on for 4 gruelling rounds in one night, you need that motivation, and Sabian has proven to himself, and others that he is more than capable of stretching his limits. With heart and desire behind Sabians quest to become Best of the Best, is the talent he possesses experienced and ready to take him that far?

Aligning himself with Ruckus, Joker and Robby Mireno to form the group “Blackout”, Sabian has been gaining experience both in single and tag matches over the last few months. At “Overdrive” in March, he showed he can be tough when needed, competing in a brutal 6 man Table match, putting his body on the line throughout the match, including his insane Topays and 450 splashes. Sabian showed the fans that night he isn’t scared to do what it takes to get the victory for him and his team. The Best of the Best is all about showcasing Junior Heavyweight talent that specialise in a hybrid style of Junior Heavyweight wrestling, and don’t just focus on how many times they can rotate from the top rope. Sabian can bring that hybrid style to the tournament, but can also dazzle and amaze in the air. In his short period of time here in CZW we have seen that although being small in stature, he is big on desire and passion to gain that victory in his matches, which will help carry his ability.

On July 10th I hope the other 11 participants in the Best of the Best have taken time to watch those tapes, and study every high flying move and counter hold Sabian has to offer, because in my eyes Sabian is definetly not going to be a simple 3 count.

I have a feeling that Sabian may make the semis with this little bit of hype he just got. But I hope not. i'm not really a fan of Sabian.

Cody, I'm a fan of Sabian, But i dont think he deserves to be in BOTB Just yet. I think he need's to prove him self just a Little bit more befor he got in to this. A Fair bit of Hype IMO For a Wrestler, Infact i wouldn't be suprised to see him win the tournament.

Infact that is one interesting read on Sabain, I never new that he Debuted in CZW in 2002 and never came back untill Pain in the rain 2!! I thought he was a New guy from CZW Training School. Mind you, I need to see some of the Blackout ****, They look really good.
