View Full Version : Writer's Call

I'm gonna be honest, frank, and get right to the point.

WPW needs writers. Every week now I'm putting myself in overdrive to get all the matches done, and every week Tuesday becomes stressful when someone flakes out last minute and doesn't turn in a match. We need writers, and I'm willing to accept applications from anyone who is interested.

As a writer and member of my staff it's different than how it is in other feds. In alot of feds, being on the staff means you know all the secrets, plans, and spoilers so to speak. Not here. Being on the staff will give you access to the staff room yes, but since everything here is RP based, the closest thing to a spoiler you'll find is reading the match in the match thread a day or so before it becomes official, and even those sometimes change at the last minute.

Anyone who is interested should know it won't spoil the fed in any way, shape, or form. All joining my staff will do is give you a platform to make your ideas heard for the entire staff to see, and give you the chance to contribute matches to help the fed keep going. I'm accepting full time positions (weekly matches that are assigned wednesday morning, to be completed the following Tuesday morning at midnight), and part time writers who wish to work a three matches or two matches a month schedule. Any help will be appreciated.

This is not something you're required to do, so dont' feel like you need to, but if you do volunteer, please only volunteer if you're sure you can do it. There are a handful of people who volunteered from the get-go, and have since flaked out and no-showed matches, which gives me alot of added pressure the day TNT goes up. But to those who are interested, please let me know because we would love to have you and appreciate your hard work.

Though we don't show staff favoritism here, it should be noted that people who are likely to get pushed are people who show not only good role playing skills, but dedication to WPW in general, and there's nothing that shows dedication more than helping the main show get going and going strong. So please anyone who's interested, respond here or PM me, because not everyone will be availiable every week, and I'm afraid to think about what'll happen if suddenly I need a week off since every week since WPW opened I had to reassign a match last minute, usually to myself.

Im starting my own Smackdown! show this week but I would have time to do a match for TNT or PPVs if you like. You know I've worked with e-feds before but if you want a sample match then I'll PM on to you.

We just recently had to remove a few people from the staff room, so there is currently 1 opening to join it if anyone is interested. If that person is you, either PM me and let me know, or respond here. We still have a large staff, I'm just looking for people who's like to try their skills out, and start off writing once or twice a month, and depending how good you are, you'll get more assignments.

If you're interested let me know. Please only volunteer if you are positive you have the time and dedication to get your matches in on time though, because we don't want you if you can't. The writing team is very healthy right now, and we absolutely do not need people, we are only extending this offer for anyone who's ever wanted to write, and wants the chance. So please only sign up if you're sure you're interested, and don't sign up thinking you're helping the fed if you can't be dedicated to the assignments given. We don't need that kind of help.

If you meet the above requirements, let me know. :)
