New Japan ran their May 3rd Tokyo Dome show (NEXESS), with initial reports of the promoting claiming 65,000 paid. Non-promotional reports have the show with around 50,000 fans total. Results:

1. Koji Kanemoto, American Dragon, & Ultimo Dragon defeated Heat, Tiger Mask IV, & Naomichi Marufuji in 18 minutes, 40 seconds when American Dragon used a Leg Lock Suplex Hold on Heat for the win.

2. Super Strong Makai (Majin), Giant Makai (Majin), & New Super Strong Makai (Majin) defeated Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Osamu Nishimura, & Shin'ya Makabe in 7 minutes, 7 seconds when New Super Strong used a jumping elbow (after a chokeslam and a guillotine drop) on Makabe for the win. One of the two giants is indeed a Dory Funk Jr. student, the other one is in fact from the Guiness Book of World Records as the tallest man alive and came into the match with no wrestling experience.

3. Jushin Liger defeated Katsuji Nakashima in 7 minutes, 27 seconds with a crab hold. Kensuke Sasaki & Akira Hokuto were in Nakajima's corner.

4. Josh Barnett defeated Ken Shamrock in 13 minutes, 13 seconds by disqualification when Shamrock wouldn't let go of a hold after a rope break and hit the referee.

5. Dolgolsuren Sumiyabazul & Blue Wolf (w/ Asashoryu) defeated Gen'ichiro Tenryu & Meng (with a Tadao Yasuda sighting) in 8 minutes, 30 seconds when Wolf used a Mongol Hammer (Jackhammer) on Meng for the win.

6. Yuji Nagata & Kendo Ka Shin defeated Manabu Nakanishi & Kensuke Sasaki in 16 minutes, 58 seconds when Nagata used a back-drop suplex hold on Nakanishi after Ka Shin threw powder in the eyes of Nakanishi.

7. IWGP Tag Titles Match: Yoshihiro Takayama & Minoru Suzuki defeated Masa Chono & Kazunari Murakami in 15 minutes, 42 seconds when Suzuki used a Gotch-style pile driver on Murakami for the win.

8. K-1 vs. NJ: Yutaka Yoshie defeated Jan "The Convict" Nortje in 3 minutes, 31 seconds with a camel clutch hold.

9. K-1 vs. NJ: Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated Sean O'Haire in 7 minutes, 35 seconds with a Dragon Sleeper.

10. K-1 vs. NJ: Musashi defeated Katsuyori Shibata in the 2nd round after a middle and high kick combination for the KO. Shibata was able to get an ankle lock on Musashi during the fight. Tiger Hattori was the referee for the fight, with Masa Chono in Shibata's corner. They did the 20-second break rule (similar to what was used in the Fujita/Imamu Mayfield 12/31 Kobe Wing Stadium fight). Both guys used open-finger gloves and leggers.

11. IWGP Title Match: Bob Sapp defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in 12 minutes, 30 seconds with a powerbomb. Sapp did a pile-driver on Nakamura during the match. Sapp vs. Fujita in K-1 MMA on 5/22 at Saitama Super Arena.

This show, Look's okay IMO. I'm really wanting to see match 1, That's exactly how Ultimo should be used!! Not the ****ty way the WWE Chose to use him, Infact in all honesty, i really do hope he doesnt go back. Bob Sapp should just stick to shoot fight's or Take up actual wrestling lessons. The rest of the card look's a bit "Meh" IMO they tryed to draw in the casual Wrestling fan, By the name's that have on it.

Thoughts?
