I posted something like this over at IOW and got minimal response, so I'm going to try here.
Anyone play Raw Deal?
Anyone know what Raw Deal is?
Would anyone LIKE to know?
If so, just ask!

It's a card game like Pokemon Cards and that kinda but with Wrestling... Yuo pretty much have wrestling matches with cards.... isn't that it?

Yes, Wilse, you are right.
Raw Deal is essentially like Pokemon. They both have the same basic goal of beating your opponent. However, Raw Deal is a bit more complex.
I'm going to give you a break down of how Raw Deal works.
First you have your superstars. Currently there are about 76 different superstars out there but, for the purpose of this explanation, I'm only going to use one as an example.
Stone Cold Steve Austin
Hand Size : 7 As I'm sure you can tell, the Hand Size refers to how many cards you start with.
Superstar Value : 5 The Superstar Value determines if you start first in the match. The SSV's range from 0-10.
Superstar Ability : Once during your turn, you may draw a card, but you must then take a card from your hand and place it on the bottom of your Arsenal.
Along with the superstars, there are superstar specific cards. For example, Austin has his trademark manuvers and various actions and reversals.
For a standard deck, you will have 2 componants. You will need a Backlash Deck and an Arsenal.
The Backlash deck is composed of 2 parts. Pre-match and Mid-Match.
Your Arsenal, which is your deck of choice, consits of 3 things. Manuvers, Actions and Reversals.
The object of the game is to beat your opponent. You do this by gaining fortitude to use more powerful manuvers. The amount of fortitude you gain depends on how much damage you inflict on your opponent. Each manuver, action and reversal has a set amount of fortitude and damage.
Here's an example of all of the componants I just described....
Pre-Match - Awesome Pyro!
F:0
D:0
At the end of the Pre-Match phase, place this card in your Ringside pile and look at your starting hand. You may then choose to shuffle your starting hand into your Arsenal and redraw the same amount of cards.
If played by Kane, Chris Jericho, Chyna or Kurt Angle, draw 1 additional card after redrawing.
Mid-Match Manuver - Dirty Low Blow
F:0
D:2
Only playable if your Fortitude Rating is less than your opponent's Fortitude Rating. May not be reversed from your opponent's hand.
Mid-Match Action - Turn Up the Heat
F:0
D:0
You must discard a Reversal card from your hand. If your next card played this turn is a Manuver card of 5D or less, it cannot be reversed. After you play your next card this turn and apply damage, end your turn.
Mid-Match Reversal - When You Thought You Had All The Answers
F:0
D:0
Cannot be played if you Trademark Finisher is in your Ring area. May reverse any Trademark Finisher, EVEN if it cannot be reversed. Your opponent must shuffle the Trademark Finisher back into his Arsenal and may draw 1 card. End your opponent's turn.
Well, that's virtually all I can think of at this moment.
However, if you need a further explanation, I suggest going to comicimages.com/rawdeal
Manuver - Kick
F:0
D:5
Once played, you must overturn one card.
Action - Recovery
F:4
D:0
Shuffle 2 cards from your Ringside Pile (Your discard pile) into your arsenal and draw 1.
Reversal - Elbow to the Face
F:0
D:2
Reverse any manuver 7D or less and end your opponents turn.
If i had been bothered to read that, i'm sure it would have been really interesting. I'll try again tomorrow when i'm sober
