Ring of Honor, the USA’s top independent promotion, is proud to announce its first ever UK tour weekend on August 12th and 13th, 2006. For the first time ever ROH will fly its entire cast and crew overseas to bring European wrestling fans even closer to the most innovative pro wrestling product in the United States today.
The tour will make two stops with the first event taking place in the prestigious Liverpool Olympia on Saturday August 12. The ROH team will then travel south of the country to end its trip in one of UK wrestling fans favourite venues, the Broxbourne Civic Hall on Sunday August 13.
Tour organiser Alex Shane said: “Last year saw the birth of the UK Supershow featuring top US indie stars competing on UK events. This is the next step with an entire US indie promotion coming to the UK for a whole weekend of shows.
“This is not a UK show featuring ROH talent but a US style ROH show taking place in our own country. It will be something that no UK grappling fan will want to miss.”
ROH promoter Cary Silkin added: “We have a huge following over in the UK but the closest our British fans could get was to fly over to the States to get their ROH fix.
“This tour will show our fans that we want to pay them back for their loyalty to the product by bringing ROH to them. Our roster is really excited about this project and can’t wait to show UK fans what ROH has to offer them. We are all looking to impress and are 100% confident that we will leave British fans wanting more Ring of Honor.”

Well i know i'll be there. Even though i've questioned much of what ROH has done recently in terms of the wrestlers they book, storylines and such i am still a big ROH fan and cannot bring myself to miss this event. I doubt i will go to both as Broxbourne Civic Hall is just too far for me to travel but i will definitely make my way to the Liverpool show. I think since this will probably be a very rare chance for me i'm gonna go with one of the £75 tickets as i might as well get the best seats. Who knows maybe i'll be lucky enough to get dived on or see the Ole' Kick right infront of me. I hope we get a great card with some of their best matches and i also hope to see all the top ROH talent as with a lot of the shows some of the talent can't make it. Either way i knowi will be there as this is really an oppurtunity i can't miss.
