The road to the Lockdown Pay-Per-View spectacular continues this Saturday night on “iMPACT!” on SpikeTV, as more matches will be announced for the epic event! In addition, all of your favorite TNA stars will be in attendance. The preview for Saturday’s “iMPACT!” is as follows:


STING MAKES HIS RETURN TO THE IMPACT ZONE!

Following his recent challenge to Jeff Jarrett to face his team at Lockdown, Sting has informed TNA management he is making his return to the Impact Zone in Orlando this Saturday night on SpikeTV! It will be Sting’s return to the arena – but the question is, what plans does he have in mind for Jarrett and his crew? Will war break out before the Lockdown Pay-Per-View? Will Sting reveal his Lockdown team? Tune in this Saturday night on SpikeTV to see The Man In Black return!


“LETHAL LOCKDOWN” CAGE MATCH TO BE REVEALED

TNAwrestling.com has also learned that Saturday night on “iMPACT!”, TNA management will reveal the “Lethal Lockdown” structure – the arena of warfare for Sting and Jarrett’s teams at the Pay-Per-View! For the bout, TNA will be adding a roof and weapons to the Six Sides of Steel, making it impossible to escape. Tune in this Saturday to see a sneak preview of the Lethal Lockdown!

Alex Shelley has invaded the privacy of another TNA star – this time, it’s NWA World Heavyweight Champion Christian Cage! This past week, Shelley premiered his latest “Paparazzi Productions” film, featuring James Mitchell confronting Christian’s wife Denise! This Saturday night, Shelley plans to show the conclusion of the video – but he and Mitchell aren’t commenting on what the footage is! What else is on the tape? More importantly, how will Christian Cage react to all of this? Tune in to “iMPACT!” to find out as this controversial situation continues to escalate!

Four of TNA’s top X Division kingpins will be in action in the main event this Saturday night on “iMPACT!” in a four-way match with the winner earning an X Division Title shot against “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels! Will Shelley debut his new video AND win a title shot? Will Samoa Joe get his rematch for the gold? Or, will Team USA members Chris Sabin or Sonjay Dutt earn a crack at the championship?


NWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
Champions America’s Most Wanted vs. The James Gang

TNA management has announced that this Saturday night on “iMPACT!” the NWA World Tag Team Title will be on the line as America’s Most Wanted defend against The James Gang! Can BG and Kip James finally capture the tag team gold here in TNA or will AMW continue to dominate the ranks? Will “Bullet Bob” be on hand to counter any underhanded tactics from Gail Kim? The tag team championship will be up for grabs this Saturday night as two of TNA’s top tandems collide for the first time!

All this and much more Saturday night on “iMPACT!” on SpikeTV, including more news on the April 23 “Lockdown” Pay-Per-View! Don’t forget –“iMPACT!” moves to Thursday nights at 11pm starting April 13!

An ok line up i think. The main event should be great as long as it doesn't get turned into a huge spotfest and the tag match also will be interesting seeing one of TNA's best tag teams against one of WWE's most popular tag teams. And ofcourse Sting will be there live which last time brought TNA massive ratings so thats always a good thing. I hope another match is added though as i think 3 matches is always better then two. Also although i am against the idea i am looking forward to Alex Shelley's latest video, his first one was hilarious as Shelley plays his gimmick perfectly and i expect this one to be no different. So what are your thoughts on the lineup for this weeks iMPACT!?

Team Canada are in the ring singing Oh, Canada! Team 3D quickly comes out to clean house. “USA!” chant. D-Von is taking care of Eric Young while Ray is in the stands with Bobby Roode. “We want tables!” chant. Now in the ring, Team 3D continues the destruction of Team Canada. D-Von goes to get a table. D’Amore is pissed. Petey and A1 come in to try to take on 3D. Ray is gonna put D’Amore through the table, but Roode saves him. Eric Young with a huge moonsault on Brother Ray. Bobby Roode hits the Northern Lariat on Brother D-Von. They set D-Von on the table and Eric Young comes down with a flying elbow. Young looks hurt as well. D’Amore gets on the mic and basically says Canada rules, USA drools. D’Amore pulls a heel Bret Hart (congrats btw) and says he has no respect for the U.S.

Don West is creaming himself over the fact that Sting is in the house. Tenay manages to hold himself together enough to tell us what’s going on tonight.

J.B. is with Jarrett, Steiner, and the rest of ‘em. Jarrett says the match at Lockdown will be an 8 man war. His team is himself, Steiner, and AMW. Jarrett and Steiner say they’ll see Sting tonight.

James Gang vs. AMW w/ Gail Kim and Jackie Gayda

Pre-match, BG does his thing. Hey, Jackie Gayda’s still alive. Who knew? Jackie is forced to her knees where Gail pours beer on her head. Wildcat and Kip James start. Kip quickly gains the upper hand. The other two come in and the James Gang double team AMW. BG and Storm now tango. Storm with a kick after Gail grabs BG’s leg. AMW plays leapfrog onto a prone BG in the ropes. Jackie grabs Wildcat’s leg as he comes to her corner. Kip comes in and cleans house. Gail slaps Jackie outside and throws her out of the arena. Kip hits the Fameasser on Wildcat, but Harris distracts the ref. Konnan comes in and whips Kip with the Slapjack. The ref turns around and counts the three.


Winners: AMW

Bullet Bob comes out and yells at Konnan, challenging him back to the ring.
They will arm-wrestle next week.

Abyss and Mitchell make their way down to the ring. J.B. asks Mitchell what he has to say for himself. Mitchell: “Mission accomplished.” He puts over Abyss as the greatest challenge of Christian’s career. God, Mitchell is creepy. Here comes part 2 of the tape. Christian confronts Shelley on the front lawn, but Abyss attacks him from behind! Abyss continues to beat on Christian inside the house. Abyss pushes Christian into the pool and goes in after him. Abyss is drowning Christian until Mitchell tells him to let up because he can’t win the belt from a dead man. Mitchell says Shelley deserves an Oscar for best director. Don West walks off disgusted.

Number 1 contender’s match for X Division Title – Samoa Joe vs. Alex Shelley vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Chris Sabin

Christopher Daniels is at the announce booth. Shelley and Dutt start. Daniels says Zbyszko dropped the ball because he was ready for a rematch with Joe at Lockdown. Joe and Sabin get tagged in. Sabin with an elbow and a dropkick. Sabin tags in Sonjay and we go to commercial. iMPACT! Thursday promo. Genesis and Best of Bloodiest Brawls DVD commercial. We’re back and Joe gets tagged out by Shelley, who gets rolled up by Sonjay for a 2 count. Daniels says he’s rooting for Joe so he can beat him again. Sabin tags out Sonjay who drills Shelley in the head with a dropkick. Shelley gains control before a spinkick out of the corner. Sonjay and Joe come in. Dutt tosses Shelley off the top rope to the outside. Joe hits a muscle buster of Dutt and get the three count.


Winner: Samoa Joe

Joe comes over to Daniels and they start to brawl. Security quickly surrounds them.

J.B. is walking backstage with Jarrett’s army. Jarrett says they’re gonna call Sting out.

Here come Jarrett and Co. as promised. Jarrett has a microphone and calls Sting out right away. The lights go out and Rhino and the James Gang are in the crowd. Rhino tells Jarrett the mind games aren’t over yet. Ron Killings, Chase Stevens, Norman Smiley, and Shark Boy are in the crowd as well. A.J. Styles, Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt, and Jay Lethal are on the roof near one of the entranceways. The lights come on and Sting’s in the ring! He starts to clean house, but Shelley and Team Canada come in. They all recover and beat on Sting. Some faces come in and help Sting. Sting points his bat at Jarrett as we fade out.

iMPACT! sounds alright this week. Could of done with a third match but atleast there was no squash matches this week which is indeed a plus. I think i shall leave my comments until i've had the chance to see this weeks installment as i find things seem a hell of alot different on paper then when you actually see them.

I wish Shelly would have won in some kind of cheap fashion, stealling a win from joe. Like maybe running up and kicking joe in the balls and then pinning dutt after joe musclebustered him. This would set up a match with shelly vs Joe. I think daniels is alreaddy wrestling some japanese kid at upcomming ppv. Shelly and Joe could end in a false finish, they could be wrestling over true number one contendership or something. Then have it be tripple theat with Joe vs Daniels vs Shelly. Shelly wins. Joe moves on to the mainevent after elivating shelly. the x division now has a new viable contender.
