SATURDAY NIGHT ON "iMPACT!" ON SPIKETV
Will Alex Shelley return with more footage of Sting?

The road to the March 12 "Destination X" Pay-Per-View continues this Saturday night on "iMPACT!" on SpikeTV!

WILL STING SPEAK THIS SATURDAY?

The world witnessed the footage Alex Shelley brought back from California this past week, as the X star invaded the private life of Sting in one of the most disturbing pieces of video ever seen on "iMPACT!". However, Jeff Jarrett and Shelley aren't done with Sting, as the "King of the Mountain" ordered Shelley to return to California to confront Sting and capture it on video! Will Alex Shelley get
more footage of "The Man In Black"? Will Sting speak for the first time since hisretirement? Tune in this Saturday night on "iMPACT!" to find out as this bizarre series of events unfolds on SpikeTV!

JEFF JARRETT, AMERICA'S MOST WANTED AND ABYSS TEAM UP

Preparing for their "Destination X" eight-man war against Team 3D, Rhino and The Truth, "The King of the Mountain" and his army will team up Saturday night for in-ring action on "iMPACT!" The bout this Saturday will feature Jarrett, AMW and Abyss teaming up for the first time as an unstoppable unit - but the question is, will their "Destination X" opponents be nearby waiting for a fight? Tune in to find out!

SAMOA JOE AND THE PRINCE OF PUNK vs. AJ STYLES AND THE FALLEN ANGEL

It will be X Division tag team action Saturday night on "iMPACT!" as the reigning X Champion "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe teams with The Prince Of Punk to face off against the unlikely team of "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels! With all three combatants involved in the Ultimate X Match in one ring, what hell will break loose before the Pay-Per-View? Will Styles and Daniels be able to coexist as a team against Joe and Punk? We'll find out Saturday night!

TEAM CANADA vs. CHRIS SABIN, SONJAY DUTT & JAY LETHAL

The stars of the TNA's high-flying X Division team up for six-man action this Saturdaynight on SpikeTV as Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal will take on the cohesive unit of Team Canada! Plus, more information will be announced concerning the World X Cup event scheduled later this year!

In addition, more of your favorite TNA stars will be in attendance on "iMPACT!" including NWA World Heavyweight Champion "Captain Charisma" Christian Cage, "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown, Team 3D, Rhino, the TNA Knockout babes and many more!

Plus, more matches will be announced for the March 12 "Destination X" Pay-Per-View as we get closer to the epic event featuring the return of The Ultimate X Match!

My main problem with TNA at the moment is how Christian Cage is the champion yet only gets about 2-5 minutes air time. Even after losing the belt Jarrett still takes up most of the show, last week he made three appearances and one of them was the longest segment on iMPACT! I don't mind the Sting footage idea as it is bringing in ratings, last week the end segment did a 1.0 which isn't surprising because Sting has proved he equals ratings, but they could atleast make it different and not take up so much time either.

This weeks footage will be interesting as i'm curious to see what Sting will have to say and also what happens between him and Shelley, i think a match between Shelley and Sting on iMPACT! when he returns would be great. Granted Shelley would be the one jobbing but even so to say that he's wrestled Sting is something worth having on your resume'. Also i doubt Sting's first singles match will be in a cage with Jarrett surely they will want him to have some sort of warm up match that is just a straight up singles match. Either way it will be interesting to see what happens as Shelley aslways makes these segments entertaining.

The Joe, Moore, Styles and Daniels tag match should be a gooden if given enough time. This match should be the Main Event and i would be amazed if it wasn't looking at the other matches on the card. As i've said before i'm glad to see TNA putting Joe, Styles and Daniels in the ring together. This was something the feud missed in their last encounter, all we ever saw was Joe/Daniels or Joe/Styles or Daniels/Styles but never all three at the same time but now they seem to have resolved that.

The Jarret and "Army" match really doesn't interest me. The fact that they haven't even mentioned there opponents means you know it is just going to be some silly squash match. Why is Abyss part of this group anyway? He's much better as the loner character with only Mitchell being the one able to control him it gives a cool mystique to him.

The 6 man tag match seems to be there mainly to advertise the World X Cup. Even so it should be a fairly decent match up if done properly but still could do with adding something to the P.P.V since it's only a week away.

Speaking of which i hope TNA kick into overdrive as far as building matches for their P.P.V they only have tonight and next weeks iMPACT! to build everything up. What are your thoughts on the lineup for tonights iMPACT!?

Standard video package recaps the goings on in TNA.

Abyss w/ James Mitchell, AMW, and Jeff Jarrett w/ Gail Kim and Jackie Gayda vs. Cassidy Riley, Shark Boy, Norman Smiley, and ?

I missed most of this one, but from what I saw it looked like a standard squash. Abyss Black Hole Slams Smiley and goes for the pin. Jarrett pulls Abyss off, Strokes Smiley, and gets the pin.

Winners: Jarrett, AMW and Abyss

Jeremy Borash is with Matt Bentley and Traci. Apparently Bentley doesn’t like Lance Hoyt. Jarrett & Co. storm the backstage area calling for another viewing party. Jackie Gayda gets owned again. Eric Young steals the tape and runs away!

Lance Hoyt vs. Kenny King

Ok, on Xplosion Matt Bentley attacked Hoyt or something, that’s why there’s bad blood. Does anyone care? King took an awkward bounce off a back body drop. Hoyt hits a “Texas Tower Bomb” and gets the win.

Winner: Lance Hoyt

Konnan comes out and starts yelling about something. Homicide and Machete come out with a beat-down BG James. Kip James predictably runs in for the save, though it takes him awhile.

Destination X commercial.

Ron “The Truth” Killings’ video for “Wass Up” is shown.

Team Canada (minus A1) w/ Coach D’Amore vs. Chris Sabin, Jay Lethal, and Sonjay Dutt

EY comes out with the Sting tape shoved in his trunks. Sabin and Petey start. Sabin gains an early advantage. He tags in Lethal and Jay goes to work on Petey. Lethal gets distracted by the other members of Team Canada and is soon in their corner getting pounded on. Bobby Roode comes in to work on Lethal. Jarrett comes out looking for the tape. Sonjay Dutt comes in and works on the other two Canadians at once. Lethal flip dives onto EY and Jarrett takes the tape. D’Amore hits Sonjay when the ref’s back is turned and Petey hits the Canadian Destroyer.

Winners: Team Canada

Christian/Monty Brown feud package. I still can’t believe Brown didn’t see “Bangkok” coming.

Borash is in the back with Christian. Cage starts to talk until James Mitchell and Abyss interrupt. Mitchell says Cage better give Abyss a title shot if he knows what’s good for him. Monty Brown blindsides Cage and takes him out back. They come out an entrance tunnel into the arena. Brown Pounces Cage off the stage! Rhino comes to check on Christian.

Bound For Glory/Best of Christopher Daniels DVD commercial.

WARNING: Spike TV does not condone the actions of the following segment. Interesting. It’s the Sting viewing party. Alex Shelley seems less than happy to watch the tape. Sting’s coaching football. Again, Shelley’s running commentary is pretty funny. Sting spots Shelley and confronts him. Sting will be at the next PPV! No, no, Steve Borden’s coming to the PPV. It’s personal. We come back and everyone (except Jackie who’s smiling) looks terrified. James Storm’s beer is spilling all over him. The looks on their faces were priceless.

Shannon Moore and Samoa Joe vs. Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles

Moore and Styles start. AJ takes Moore out of the ring and Joe comes in, but AJ and Daniels double team him. We return from commercial to see AJ and Joe in the ring. Daniels comes in and they double team again. AJ exits and Joe chops Daniels to the mat. Moore comes back in, but Daniels quickly gets a tag into AJ, who dropkicks Moore. Daniels is tagged back in and takes down Moore with a kick. AJ tagged back in and gets kicked by Joe off the ropes. Joe gets tagged in to “Sloppy Joe!” chants. When the fans start to chant “Joe!Joe!Joe!” he gives them a piece of his mind. Moore is back in and Joe holds AJ , but AJ moves and Moore nails Joe. AJ with a spinkick on Moore. They are both slow to get up. Daniels gets tagged in, but Joe comes in to help out. Daniels turns things around and gets a two count on Moore while Styles flip dives onto Joe over the top rope. Moore is in control again and gets a two count on Daniels. Joe tags himself in as Daniels is setting up for the Angel’s Wings and hits a MONSTER clothesline and gets the pin.

Winners: Shannon Moore and Samoa Joe

AJ takes the belt and puts it up on the rope above the ring. Joe doesn’t think he can climb up and get it.

Backstage, Jarrett is lying down as D’Amore is saying they’re screwed. Jarrett has an idea and has “His” number on speed dial. Vince Russo? Just joking. Hopefully not.

Well i'm glad to see Cage and Brown get a decent segment. I like how there building it so it looks like Brown could very likely be the next champion. I believe everyone knows that there is pretty much no chance that Brown is going to defeat Cage but TNA have thrown curve balls at us before much like Rhino winning the belt and so making Brown winning a possibility it makes fans want to order the P.P.V so to see what happens.

I think getting the squash out of the way early was a good idea and still don't see the point in this match. But still my main complaint is there, Jarrett had five appearances in this weeks iMPACT! and when you think that iMPACT! is only an hour long with only 45mins actually televised footage due to breaks and commercials you realise just how much time Jarrett is taking up.

I am a Sting fan i will admit that and i am happy to see him in TNA aslong as he is helping them with bringin in the fans and getting over their current stars but this angle is taking up too much air time plain and simple. As as this "him" character referred to at the end it sounds like TNA are ripping off uCw (personal joke doubt many people will get it) but no seriously rumours state that it could be the the Ultimate Warrior due to his history with Sting all i will say is please no! The only good things to come out of these storylines is getting Sting back on T.V and the allowed development of both Alex Shelley and Eric Youngs characters.

The Main Event looks like the highlight of the show and i love how their building up Joe and his struggle's in the Ultimate X. Much like the Cage/Brown feud i have no doubt that Joe will win this match but the way there building it, it makes the fans think that it will be impossible for Joe to win because he CAN'T climb the X and ofcourse that makes it even bigger when he does win.

This weeks iMPACT! really dissapointed me, 4 matches, two were squashes, one was more focused and building the Jarrett/Sting storyline then the actual wrestling so only the Main Evetn was allowed to be an actually entertaining match.

Yeah, Impact needs to slow the fuck down. The rate of which they were rushing the show was rediculous. I don't have the attention span for that kind of shit.

When I started watching it was Lance Hoyt beating up some guy. Why is Lance Hoyt trying so hard to be homosexuall? That Tat on his lowerback, the way his beard is trimmed, His Hair. his finisher is a variation of the blue thunder bomb, only with an added twist his keeps his hand inbetween his opponents legs the whole way down. DEVISTATING.

I thought the canadians vs midcarders match was alright. Sabin biffed several spots. One that I remember particuarlly is him doing an oklahoma roll up pin, only he didn't pin the guy. Any time you do a oklahoma roll without actually making a pin attempt, it looks like you were just trying to grab the guys nuts. Sonjay dutt was cool. Jay lethal didn't have such a great match, and i'm generally a lethal fan. He made like 3 covers after three moves. I hate that shit. The WWE does this a lot. And yeah he was just generally unimpressive. I didn't pay that much attention to the candians. They all look the same to me. yep, eric young, bobby rhodes, and petey williams, all look exactly the same. damn near identical twins.

The sting video bit came off better than I expected, Sting himself is what brought the video down a peg because he didn't sound intimidating. The reaction to the video was funny. one of the AMW people spilling his beer, and the looks on bobby rhodes and his look alike canadian twin, eric young, were priceless.

I thought the mainevent was fair. nothing spectacualr. I liked the end though, where AJ put the title on top of the Ultimate X wire, to show Joe how high it was. Joe looked like a combination between pissed off of scared. Good way to close out a show.

Not one of TNA's better shows. I agree that Jarrett got way too much air time relative to Christian. Yes Christian and Brown got a decent segment to build up their match for Destination X. However, there is no secret why some fans compare Jarrett to Triple H. The squash match at the beginning did not really seem to serve any purpose.

Ok, let me get this straight. Sting will not be showing up at the PPV, but Steve Borden is? What marketing genius came up with that idea? That is like trying to hype up a match with Terry Bollea instead of Hulk Hogan(humor me). The match itself could be good but may not seem as interesting. However, the look on the heels faces was classic especially AWA.
