THIS SATURDAY ON "iMPACT!" ON SPIKETV
The road to "Against All Odds" continues

Saturday night on "iMPACT!" will be a big night for TNA management and all the fans as it will be the SpikeTV debut of the wrestling icon Sting! TNA officials will be going all out for the "iMPACT!" debut of "The Man In Black" as he will discuss his future plans in TNA Wrestling! What's next for Sting? Will he go for the NWA World Heavyweight Title against Jeff Jarrett? Tune in Saturday night to find out!

IN ACTION THIS SATURDAY NIGHT ON SPIKETV:

Main Event: X Division Street Fight
"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles vs. "The Prince of Punk" Shannon Moore

The escalating war between AJ Styles and TNA newcomer "The Prince of Punk" reaches a boiling point this Saturday night as the two stars will battle it out in an X Division Street Fight! Come as you want, bring what you want - the rules will be thrown out the window until only one star stands victorious!

The "iMPACT!" in-ring debut of The James Gang

Also this Saturday night on SpikeTV, it will be the "iMPACT!" in-ring debut of the reunited James Gang. One of the greatest tag teams in wrestling history, BG James and Kip James got their first win back together at "Final Resolution" and look to continue their winning ways on "iMPACT!" as they prepare for war against Konnan's "Latin American Exchange"!

Also in action on Saturday night:
Chris Sabin and Sonjay Dutt vs. The Diamonds In The Rough
Team Canada vs. The Truth, Lance Hoyt and Shark Boy

Plus, matches to be announced for the February 12 "Against All Odds" Pay-Per-View event and appearances by your favorite TNA stars including Christian Cage, Jeff Jarrett, Team 3D, "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown, Gail Kim and many more!

Hmmm four matches and not a bad line up at that. I expect the James Gang's iMPACT! debut will be nothing more then a squash match considering they don;t mentione their opponents but i suppose the purpose is to just introduce the team and also further their feud with the LAX.

I'm a bit surprised to see Stlyes/Moore going at it especially in a gimmick match as i thought these two would of been saved for a P.P.V but oh well hopefully this means that TNA intend to book Styles/Daniels/Joe II for the next P.P.V. as all the making are there since they could play up Daniels being mad at AJ for throwing in the towel on his behalf. Still it will be good to see how Moore holds his own against one of TNA's Elite workers.

The other two matches looks solid although i'm not sure what they will do storyline wise there's nothing wrong with a match being their just for the sake of putting on a good match. I'm looking forward to seeing what Sting has to say and am curious as to what will happen as far the No 1 contendership goes for Against All Odd's. Is it Cage? Is it Sting? Or could it be someone else? Coming off the P.P.V that was a bit of a letdown TNA could do with a solid iMPACT! and hopefully they deliver tonight. So what are your thought's on tonights iMPACT!?

Aj styles and Shannon Moore are feuding? I thought they were playing tag. Every confrontation is Shannon coming in and touching something of AJ styles and takes off running away.

Theys best have Homicide sqaush gunn and road dogg.

Six man tag can be fun

I hope elix skippers tag partner doesn't gay things up.

my thoughts.. Jeff Jarrett name dropping a man who pwns his skill in the ring in Y2J.. That pisses me off that the TNA egoist thinks he is better then Jericho. Telling Christian Cage to bring in his friend Chris Jericho and then telling him that after he's done with Christian that he's sending him back where he belongs on the mid card. Not the way I'd have ended the show but meh. It's TNA for ya.

The Styles and Moore match solid for a TV show but with the Daniels, Somoa Joe mudding up things and being at ringside it just makes for I dunno what.

Sqaush for The James Gang.. >.< Gotta love the fact Vince has these wrestlers by the balls and they can't go by their wrestling names or have their runs mentioned on air.

3D segment.. Blah...

Good team work by Dutt and Sabin.. >.< Effin' ghey frosted tips.

Great six man tag to kick things. Team Canada gotta love them.

Return of Sting highlight package.

DW is outside awaiting the arrival of Sting.

Diamonds in the Rough w/ Simon Diamond vs. Chris Sabin + Sonjay Dutt

Diamonds in the Rough jump on Sabin and Dutt during their entrances. Sabin and Dutt quickly gain control. Dutt gets a 2 count on David Young. Simon Diamond interfered hitting Sonjay. Primetime gets tagged in, does some damage, then quickly tags out. Sonjay gets to Sabin who subsequently goes to town on both members of the Rough. Dutt comes in and soon all 4 men are in the ring. Sonjay hits the Hindu Press on David Young for the win.

Winners: Sonjay Dutt and Chris Sabin

Shane is with AJ Styles in the back. AJ cuts a promo on Shannon Moore and starts to talk about Samoa Joe when Christopher Daniels shows up. Daniels is mad at AJ for throwing in the towel last Sunday. It broke AJ’s heart to have to throw in the towel. Daniels hints at a feud with Styles.

Morphoplex commercial with Jackie Gayda.

Shane is outside Sting’s locker room.

Tenay and West recap Sting’s return at Final Resolution.

Team Canada (Petey Williams, Eric Young, and A1) w/ Coach D’Amore vs. Ron Killings, Lance Hoyt, and Shark Boy

Thank God, I thought Lance Hoyt was dead or something. What a weird team. Shark Boy and Williams start. Exchange of chops until Shark Boy gains the upper hand. He disposes of all 3 members of Team Canada as they each interfere. Truth and EY are in now. EY gets a 2 count after A1 interfered behind the ref’s back. Petey is tagged in has the upper hand. There’s Dave Hebner. EY is back in, mimics Killings’ own maneuver, and pays for it. Hoyt gets the hot tag and Petey also gets tagged back in. MONSTER one-handed powerbomb/chokeslam combo on EY. He slams Petey down and would have gotten a 3 count if A1 hadn’t gotten there in time. It’s now Shark Boy and Petey. CANADIAN DESTROYER! 1-2-3.

Winners: Team Canada

Pretty cool Samoa Joe/Against All Odds promo.

Jackie Gayda/Jeff Jarrett situation recapped.

The James Gang vs. Kenny King and Buck Quartermain

I honestly hope King and Quartermain win. BG and Kip do their old tired thing. King and Kip start. Kenny King gets a pretty big chant going. Short match. Kip uses his finisher.

Winners: The James Gang

Uh oh. Konnan and Homicide are on the big screen. LAX challenges The James Gang to a match at Against All Odds.

Shane and Larry Zbyszko are in Larry’s office. Larry says Sting will be here next week and also, there will be big news on Jarrett’s opponent for Against All Odds. Monty Brown shows up. He questions Larry about Sting. “Monty. Montyyy. Aw, for pete’s sake!” – Zbyszko.

Shannon Moore/AJ Styles package.

Street Fight
Shannon Moore vs. AJ Styles

Christopher Daniels is at the announce table. Moore gets tossed out of the ring early and AJ follows him out. He rams Moore’s head into the railing. Christopher Daniels DVD promo during commercial break. The two are still outside when we return. Moore hits AJ with some lady’s water bottle. He throws AJ over the rail into the crowd. They exchange blows until AJ throws Moore over a rail onto the floor. AJ dives off the rail himself onto Moore.
Alex Shelley is out with the Shelley Cam. Moore gets tripped into a chair that’s in the ring for some reason. AJ raps the chair around Moore’s neck and rams him into the post. Joe’s out on the ramp. AWWW snap! Moore raps the leg around AJ’s ankle and goes up top, but AJ counters by getting the chair up into Moore’s face as he flies downward. Moore hooks AJ into a single leg Boston crab on AJ’s “bad” knee. Daniels comes up and throws a towel in. While AJ is distracted with Daniels, Moore rolls him up from behind for the pin.

Winner: Shannon Moore

AJ and Daniels have a few words.

Christian Cage is shown walking backstage.

Shane is with Team 3D when Larry walks in. Brother Ray says Team 3D won at Final Resolution. Team 3D wants AMW AND Team Canada.

Christian Cage makes his way down to the ring. He says he just got off the phone with Sting. He says Sting is at the movies watching the story of Jeff Jarrett and Monty Brown…”Brokeback Mountain! Cue Jarrett’s theme. Jarrett has the contract for his match at Against All Odds in hand. Jarrett drops Jericho’s name for a big pop. Jarrett slaps Christina after calling him a mid-carder and Cage fights back. Monty Brown runs in and they go to town on Cage until Rhino runs in. Doesn’t this happen every week? Abyss comes in and starts brawling. Monty Brown is left in the ring with the open contract! He looks at it and smiles as we fade out.

This weeks iMPACT! doesn't really interest me that much. I mean the card doesn't look too bad but even so there isn't really anything on there that makes me think "Wow i must watch this one" which is the appeal TNA need if they want to bring in a larger fan base. Why would people turn away from the old reliable that is WWE for a product that only delievers sometime.

The opening match sounds decent for what it is but it is way too short, surely some of the backstage segments could of been shortened or just cut completely so this match could of developed more.

Nice to see TNA building heat between Styles and Daniels as for some reason i just didn't buy them as being friends all of a sudden, respect for each other i can understand but not friends. More on these two later.

This six man looks good and i'm happy TNA are using some of their talent that seemed to have been forgotten about in the past few months. Hoyt was trying to earn himself a shot at the NWA Heavyweight Title at BFG yet since then i don't think i've seen him on iMPACT! and has only appeared on the Pre-Sow at P.P.V's so yeah it's nice to see him get back in the ring. This match sounds good and had all the members involved get to show what they can do.

So how much longer is Jackie Gayda gonna be on iMPACT! without a purpose? I have yet to work out exactly what point she has in these segments of her's. It isn't building any supence it's just using up TNA's limited and therefore valuble T.V time.

The tag match was nothing but a squash and for a way to further the James Gang/LAX feud while also getting the James Gang over. On a side not i'm glad Apollo has been dropped from this team for the moment as i really cannot stand the guy and think that Homicide would be wasted teaming with him.

So let me get this straight. You give it all this build you waste bags of T.V time building up to this one segment and then you turn around and tell us Sting will be here next week? What the hell is that! And TNA can't pull a fact that Sting couldnt make it this week as next's week show is taped on the same night. If you were going to give all this build up and time to Sting being there then have him be there, if you plan to have him next week then announce if for next week and don't waste time on this week's iMPACT! having Shane Douglas looking like a complete twat trying to find Sting.

The street fight sounds quite entertaining not your typical X Division match which is good considering they have become stale over time. I love the ending with Daniels throwing in the towel and to bring up from my point earlier with friction showing between Daniels and Stlyes and with Styles/Joe announced for Against All Odds i am hoping that we will instead see Daniels added to the mix and get Styles/Daniels/Joe II. It is very like the first match with it originally meant to be Daniels vs. Joe but then A.J kept getting involved so Zbysko added him to the match. Now we have Styles vs. Joe but with Daniels probably getting involved i think we will see the rematch of this one.

Not so sure what TNA plan to do with Moore. With Tanahashi doing an Xplosion taping for TNA perhaps he will make another P.P.V appearance and try to get some revenge of Moore for costing him his match with Styles. I don't think the Moore/Stlyes feud is over and expect to see them two go at it again only this time at a P.P.V which in March would be Destination X. I wonder if TNA are building Moore up as the guy to beat Joe? Because i doubt it will be Daniels or Stlyes. Personally i'd like it to be Aries or Sabin who finally dethrone Joe and with Aries looking to be the leader of Generation Next and Sabin sporting a new look and nickname either guy could be quite possible.

Speaking of Joe i'm happy he wasn't completely left out of this weeks iMPACT! but also hope to see him in action next week so to add on to his unbeaten streak.

Team 3D want AMW AND Team Canada. My guess is that we see these three teams go at it at Against All Odds although i could be wrong.

Have to agree with the guy writing these results and i quote "Doesn’t this happen every week?" and it's true it does. Every week it is the same ending of some big brawl. Granted i know TNA's biggest storyline at the moment is this "war" between Jarrett and his big crew and the ex-WWE guys but still seeing the same thing every week is just beyong boring now. I do like the adding of the contract and noticed that only the singles wrestlers from each team came out so no Team Canada, no Team 3D and no AMW. So maybe theres a bit of a rift in these teams with Cage, Brown, Rhino, Abyss and Sting (presumably)all wanting the belt.

Overall it had it's good and bad points but the bad points just stand out as ones that are constant and not just this week and after overlooking them now they are just getting really annoying. TNA really needs to look at these points as they are really bringing down the quality of the shows and with WWE showing signs of improving TNA really need to pick up the pace otherwise they will just sit at 0.8 on Saturdays nights forever.

Well, this is the first iMPACT! I've watched in full, as I have now promised to myself to start watching TNA regularly. I'll give the ups and downs for me of this episode:

Ups
Sonjay Dutt - He appears to be a phenominal athelete, and he belongs in TNA because they're letting him do his top-rope moves
Christian Cage - It's good to see the guy in the Main Event status, where he belongs.

Downs
Samoa Joe not wrestling - Whatsupwitdat? Not to mention he got a good 10 seconds of TV time standing on the ramp.

Like Americool this was my first iMPACT that I had watched it total and I thought it was good. But seeing as how this is my first iMPACT my views might not look a lot like others who watch iMPACt regularly.

I enjoyed every match that was shown except for The James Gang match, didnt really think these two were still re living their New Age Outlawz days, both either need to change their names to something decent and perhaps quit living in the past. First match Ive seen of Petey Williams and I can see why his so popular, when I had first heard of Team Canada I just thought it was just another one of those Canadian bullcrap redos but I thought they were really entertaining.

Well all in all I enjoyed the show, though I felt had most of the top stars in TNA been involved in a match the show would have been a lot more interesting, and not having Sting show up after his debut on the PPV wasnt a good idea. Shit like that reminds me a lot of WCW. The little Y2J tease was interesting, but I think if TNA were to bring in someone like Y2J or even Beniot it would be a massive boost. From what Ive seen of TNA so far Im impressed but I think they are lacking just a couple more high profile young wrestlers. Look forward to the next iMPACT.
