SATURDAY NIGHT ON “iMPACT!” – 11PM ON SPIKETV

The road to the January 15 “Final Resolution” Pay-Per-View continues Saturday night on “iMPACT!” on SpikeTV, with new matches to be announced for the three-hour mega event and so much more.

A TRIBUTE TO STING FROM TNA WRESTLING

This Saturday night, TNA Wrestling will celebrate the addition of wrestling icon Sting to the roster! As the world prepares for his in-ring wrestling return at the Pay-Per-View teaming with Christian Cage to face Jeff Jarrett and The Alpha Male, tune into “iMPACT!” for a special tribute to the career of the multi-time World Heavyweight Champion! The question is, what will “The King of the Mountain” and his army think about TNA’s celebration? Tune in and find out!

RON “THE TRUTH” KILLINGS vs. TEAM CANADA ENFORCER BOBBY ROODE

Following the recent implosion of the 4Live Kru thanks to Konnan’s actions, Ron “The Truth” Killings is now a man on his own in TNA Wrestling. With his return to singles action, this Saturday night he’ll get a tough test in Team Canada enforcer Bobby Roode! Two of TNA’s most athletic stars will clash on SpikeTV, and with the recent wars between the former 4LK and Team Canada, the hatred between Killings and Roode looks to re-ignite on “iMPACT!”

TEAM 3D IN ACTION THIS SATURDAY NIGHT

Focused on getting a shot at the NWA World Tag Team Titles still held by America’s Most Wanted, Team 3D will be in action on Saturday night on SpikeTV! The question is, will Brother Ray and Brother Devon get their wish for a title match at the “Final Resolution” Pay-Per-View? Tune in and find out!

THE NATURALS vs. APOLO AND TNA NEWCOMER HOMICIDE

Saturday night on “iMPACT!” will also feature the in-ring tag team debut of Apolo and Homicide – the new “family” of Konnan – as they face former NWA World Tag Team Champions The Naturals! Will Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas ruin the debut of Konnan’s henchmen, or will the new trio of Konnan, Apolo and Homicide unleash chaos in TNA? Plus, will former 4LK members BG and Kip James be watching?

All this and much more on Saturday night on “iMPACT!” as the road to the January 15 “Final Resolution” Pay-Per-View continues! Plus, appearances by other TNA stars including “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels, Abyss, Rhino, Chris Sabin and many more!

I'm looking forward to the Sting tribute. I'm a big fan of Sting and although i think TNA signing him is rather pointless it will be nice to look at him in the past and think of the good times in wrestling.

Will be good to see Ron Killings back in singles action. Killings is a good talent capable of working in both the Heavyweight and X Division and was really being wasted in the Kru so if TNA want to push him then he will be an asset to either division. The match he is placed in promises to be a gooden but i honestly can't call the winner in this match as both men are on the verge of pushes. I'll say if Roode wins then Killings is not getting pushed but if Killings wins then he is getting pushed. I think Roode will get pushed either way to be honest still good match that should be fun to watch as long as they don't overdo the Team Canada interference.

Team 3D vs. a pair of jobbers in other words. I am seriously getting pissed with TNA and their need to have atleast one squash match on every episode of iMPACT! very few people can pull off a decent squash and even less people can benefit from them. How will going over two nobodies further Team 3D towards the NWA Tag Titles? They've already beaten the Champs surely this is astep backwards? It's the same with Joe, Jow is one of these guys that can have an entertaining squash mainly because it's fun to watch him kick the shit out of people but how does Joe's title reign seem impressive if these are the only matches he get's besides P.P.V's? It's ridiculous. This needs to be looked at TNA as i almost always find these matches to be the low points of the show.

This however will be a good tag match. Am really looking foward to Homicide's debut and how he works inside the Six Sided Ring, wonder whether it will affect his style at all? I am not a fan at all of Apolo but as long as Homicide does most of the work then this should be a decent match as The Naturals are a solid Team to work with. If Apolo and Homicide win this match it will prove that TNa is serious about this new group and intends to push them which is good news for Homicide.

Hold on a second. Three matches and one of them is a squash match? So in truth two actual matches? This is not good at all i don't even know which match will be the Main Event as none of them carry any big names really. I suspect Killings vs. Roode since that is the best match on the card but even so come on TNA your quality of wrestling is your main attraction over WWE and since i doubt these three matches will be 15 minutes matches then that means we gonna get over loaded with segments which is exactly what turns a lot of fans off of WWE. For all TNA know there could be a thousand fans turning in to TNA for the first time tonight and is they see TNA as much like WWE then they will say "why bother?" so yeah TNA could really do with sticking to the wrestling.

Overall this show doesn't interest me as much as other shows have. With appearance by Jeff Jarrett, Monty Brown, Christian Cage, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Abyss Rhino and Sabin guaranteed then you can just see lot's of segments cluttering up the show rather then making it better. Still i imagine i will watch as i doubt it will be worse then what the WWE have produced this week. Thoughts?

A video package replays events from last week’s episode.

Team 3D vs. Buck Quartermain and Lex Lovett

Quartermain and Lovett are already in the ring as Team 3D arrives. 3D is working on both men to start. Now Brother Ray is in with one of them.
That one tags in the other. Brother Ray and Brother Devon double team this guy. Ok, West says this guy is Lex Lovett. Quartermain runs in and gets thrown out by Brother Ray. I smell a 3-D coming. Yup. 1-2-3.

Winners: Team 3D

Ray’s got a mic. He says Team 3D have been ECW, WCW, and WWE (“Booooooo!”) tag team champions 18 times and at Final Resolution they will attain the NWA tag titles. He says he would give up all 18 just to hold the NWA titles once. Devon says “Oh my brother testify!”, but the mic had already been cut.

Tenay and West plug Final Resolution matches. Tenay says throughout the night, TNA stars will be giving their thoughts on Sting.

Sonjay Dutt says Sting will bring his many, many fans to TNA with him.

Shane is in the back with AMW, Gail Kim, Jeff Jarrett, and Team Canada. Jarrett says they will do their own special tribute to Sting tonight. Eric Young says, “But won’t that make him mad?” Eric Young rules. Coach D’Amore shows up with a letter from Jackie Gayda for Jeff Jarrett. D’Amore says he read part of the letter and it mentions Canada more than once. Gail Kim gets offended by something Jarrett says, but he blows her off.

Apolo and Homicide w/Konnan vs. The Naturals

Konnan says the new clique in town is his…”The Latin American Exchange.” The Naturals come down and get beat on right as they enter the ring. The Naturals turn things around, so Konnan nails the ref in the head with a black bag full of something and gets his team DQ’ed.

Winners: The Naturals

He proceeds to nail the Naturals with it as well. The New Age Outl…errrr I mean BG and Kip James come out and a brawl ensues.

Chris Sabin’s most memorable memory of Sting is when Sting beat Hogan at ’97 Starrcade.

Final Resolution commercial focusing on Sting’s return.

Shane is outside Zbyszko’s office. Zbyszko and Jackie Gayda come out yelling at each other. They’re interrupted by Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, and a cameraman. No, wait, it’s Alex Shelley. Aries wants respect from Zbyszko. Strong is mouthing almost every word everyone says. Jerry Lynn (!) interrupts to tell the 3 to stop complaining.

Bobby Roode w/ Coach D’Amore vs. Ron Killings

Truth comes out to the 3LK music sans lyrics. He immediately rolls Roode up and adds a bridge for the victory in about 5 seconds! Roode is flipping out. Roode demands Truth come back because he wasn’t ready. Crowd starts a “1-2-3!” chant. Truth comes back and Roode starts beating on him. He gets the hockey stick from D’Amore, but Truth sneaks up behind him and rolls him up for a second 3 count. Coach D’Amore tells Truth says those were cheap wins. He tells him to try again. Truth obliges. He chases D’Amore, but gets clotheslines by Roode turning the corner. Roode starts on offense (like before). Truth fights his way out of a headlock and starts with a series of running clotheslines. He hits a running powerslam and gets a 2 count. Coach D’Amore swings and misses with the hockey stick, but while Truth is distracted, Roode hits the Northern Lariat and gets the 3 count.

Winner: Bobby Roode

A.J. Styles says that his best memory of Sting was when Sting changed from old school Sting to crow Sting.

Shane is with Samoa Joe. Joe’s not talking, so Shane starts to walk away, but Joe grabs him. Joe doesn’t know what Christopher Daniels is trying to prove. He says he will paint his towel with Daniels blood at Final Resolution. Shane asks Joe about Sting, but Joe won’t talk again!

Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, and Alex Shelley vs. A.J. Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Chris Sabin

Shelley sets up the Shelley cam. TNA DVD commercial. Sabin and Shelley start things off. A set of cool reversals until Sabin hits a hurricanrana. Shelley catches him coming into the ropes and hits a hurricanrana of his own. He grabs Sabin’s manhood and tags in Strong. Sabin with another hurricanrana. Sabin tags in Daniels, who hits Strong a few times before tagging in Styles. They double team Strong. AJ hits a knee drop and drop kick. Aries runs in and hits AJ, allowing Strong to tag in Shelley. Shelley spin kicks AJ to the mat and hits a side suplex. He does that thing where he humps his opponent (sort of). He tags Strong back in. Strong gets a 1 count of Styles and then tags Shelley back in. AJ starts hitting everybody. Shelley sets up a slingshot and Strong nails AJ with a kick on the way up. Aries dives over the top rope onto AJ and the 3 take turns battering him in the corner. Styles hits the Pele. Aries tags Strong, while AJ tags Daniels. Daniels is on fire. He hits a backbreaker on Shelley and then takes down both Shelley and Aries with a great move. He sets up Shelley for the Angel’s Wings, but Strong dropkicks him. Daniels tags in Sabin, who springboards off the top rope onto Strong and Aries. He and Daniels do a double suicide dive through the ropes onto Aries and Strong. Daniels gets tripped into the railing on the outside. Aries grabs a chair and is going to hit Daniels, but AJ makes the save. In the ring, Sabin hits and insiguri on Shelley and goes for the Cradle Shock, but Strong interrupts him. Strong hits a nice back breaker. Shelley with a neck breaker using the ropes. He goes for a pin and gets it!

Winners: Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, and Alex Shelley

Christian Cage says Sting will give a lot of credibility to TNA.

Jarrett has a mic in the ring. The fans are all over him right away. “We want Sting! We want Sting!” Jarrett brings out the “early years Sting.” It’s Eric Young is fuchsia trunks and face paint. He imitates Sting perfectly. Eric Young rules again. Jarrett next brings out “the 1996 crow Sting.” It’s Chris Harris of AMW. A chicken comes out holding a beer bottle so we know it’s James Storm. Jarrett says no one knows what Sting looks like and brings out the Sting of today. It’s obviously Monty Brown. He comes out with a stroller with a baby Sting in it. Monty Brown says “that’s how we stroll.” Cage’s music hits on cue. Christian calls them all jackoffs. Christian rules almost as much as Eric Young. Monty Brown challenges Christian to come down. Christian brings out Team 3D and they run in. A brawl ensues with the chicken running around crazy. Abyss comes out and drops all three good guys. Rhino runs in and gets it on with Abyss. Gore!Gore!!Gore!!! The good guys celebrate.

Well once again a show that has it's good and bad points. It does sound like a show to watch because the good points do overall outweight the bad points but even so a few things dissapointed me.

I'm glad they got the squash match out of the way even though personally i like the show to start off strong with a decent match up but oh well this match would of only cut down the steam had it been mid show. I still ask how exactly this match make Team 3D look stronger as far as being contenders for the Tag Title but they make up for it near the end (more on this later).

Well glad to see Homicide getting his debut although it wasn't anything interesting and seemed to be way too short which kinda pisses on both teams. So far not a very strong start two very short tag matches and a promo (i will cover the entire collection of Sting things at the end). Hopefully The James Gang will end up in a tag match against Apolo and Homicide so that Homcide can get a proper match to show what he is capable of.

Well TNA totally fucked up my theory lol let me quote "I'll say if Roode wins then Killings is not getting pushed but if Killings wins then Killings is getting pushed" not i haven't a clue. I believe this was TNA's way of pushing both guys and not having either one losing crediblity. Sounds like a solid match which elevates both men as Roode get's the overall W in the record books but since Truth did beat him twice he keeps steam if TNA want to push him so i'm happy with this match.

I'm surprised to see Joe cut a promo in TNA as i thought he was doing this whole silent gimmick but then again we had already heard him speak when he was beating up A.J backstage. Sounds like a decent promo with no over acting or bullshit like that just straight to the point and dead serious which captures Joe's character perfectly really. I wonder if TNA are trying to play with the internet fans here as it has been well documented on the net that Joe is not happy about Sting's pay or maybe TNA have plans for an eventual Sting vs. Joe feud you never know.

Once again TNA slap me in the face, here i was complaining about the amount of matches and the quality of the matches and then they go and do this on the night. From what i hear it has been listed as "the best match ever recorded for iMPACT!" and that doesn't surprise me. For a long time now i've been rather pissed how guys like Strong, Shelley and Aries were being completely looked over because in truth the X Division was focused on three guys so reading about that promo was quite cool. Once again i need to ownder whether TNA are trying to play off the internet fans as i know i am not the only one who has had these thoughts and feelings. Still this match seems to have made up for any of the negatives in the show so far, it seemed to have great action and gave Aries, Strong and Shelley a chance to shine and giving them a win over three of the top names shows TNA have plans in pushing them. I wonder if TNA will form these three as a group as their own version of Generation Next.

Now for the Sting bits and bats. It was nice hearing about the TNA guys talking about Sting as it shows him as a legend and therefore makes the fans care about him. But the Sting tribute was very dissapointing i was actually really looking forward to seeing like a video package covering Sting's career and although this promo was a nice way to build towards the Final Resolution main event i was still dissapointed. From what i've read this segment had to be heavily edited as it ran too long and began to get Boring chants. Still it does build to the P.P.V and leaves fans in anticipation of the eventual Sting debut and also this "war" betweent he superstars is beginning to interest me.

Overall the show wasn't bad the X Division match is enough on it's own to make me want to watch this one. I've seen bettr iMPACT!'s but still this is a fair outing from TNA and is still better television then what i've seen from WWE this week which is ofcourse all TNA need to keep doing. So what are your thought's and this weeks iMPACT!?

I cannot speak for the whole show, because I turned it off after 8 minutes.

Something about Bubba Ray talking about how the TNA titles mean more than all of the other 18 titles he has held and that by winning them it will set them apart from the Road Warriors.

haha, that is your opinion.

TNA has some great things, but overall I feel the WWE has a much better product.

Ok, Duff has been pressuring me to release a column, but Im kind of lazy. So to somewhat appease him in the mean time Ive attempted to do an incredibly accurate recap of the TNA Show. I try to capture elements of the show viewers normally wouldnt see. Eventually I will get around to doing a traditional coloumn.

Brother Ray and Brother Devon vs Lex Lovet and Q-word

Match summary
Team 3-D raped two jobbers, but they did not give them any wood.

Devon has this thing now where he pulls his top up and down at various points of the match. I think its him trying to seductively show off his man teats. Thats ok though because currently Devon is in the best shape of his life. Brother Ray on the other hand, not so much.

Son Jizzle~!
Sonjay Dutt cut an interview felicitating Sting, the words in it werent really that important because you could tell that deep down inside what he really was saying was Sting is here to make sure I get even less time in the spotlight. Fuck wrestling, I should go back to India and work on becoming the next Gandhi.

Heels Trash Sting
Jeff Jarrett no sells Sting before he even arrives. TNA forked out a shit load of money on Sting, so Jarrett does his best to undervalue him by saying Sting has been retired for five years now and is a worthless gimp who has no business in wrestling.

Next up is Homicide and some Hoss vs Guys Who Wear Headbands.
It should be noted that Homicide is so freaking badass that he fixes a serious shoulder injury that normally would require surgery, by PLACING A PIECE OF TAPE ON IT.

Konan speaks in gibberish (Mexican). Ha Ha, the Latin American Exchange is the name of his new group. Its about time weve had a stable of drug smugglers in this classy sport of professional wrestling. Some brawling goes on between the Latin Lovers and the guys wearing headbands. Konan pulls a thing from his crotch and hits people with it. Out comes Billy Gun. Billy Gun puts his mouth on a big shiney pole after getting his faced shoved into the ring post. Billy Gun is in fact, a notorious pole swallower. After that display, Mr. Ass really gays things up with a sissy looking swing of the chair that failed to connect with anyone, but did in fact manage to clear out the ring. Road Dog was there but he failed to do anything of importance.

Next up is Nick Sabin to give tribute to Sting

Sabin talks about how Hulk Hogan used politics to fuck up the finish of Starcade 97, which led directly to the start of the underutilization of Bret hart, ruined months of advanced booking, and made Sting look like a complete tool, all in the course of one match. Hulkamania Sucks, Brother.

Some Segment

God damn, I want to squeeze that womans boobies. I always thought Jackie Gayda was ugly when she was in the WWE, Some how they managed to fix her mangled faced and told her to dress slutty. AWESOME.

Generation Next make a very good point about how TNA management is inept. Decent segment. Im really digging Larry Zbyszkos presence in TNA. It should be noted that Jerry Lynns role in TNA has been officially reduced to office bitch. You know that guy in the office who sharpens pencils and makes other people coffee? Thats Jerry Lynn. He comes in and grabs Generation Next so they will be ready for their next match.

I have to take a pee break but theres a match about to start. God hates me.

Ron the Truth Killings vs Bob

The Truth did some faggot dancing and pinned Bobby Rude in like three nano seconds. Thank god for my bladder, this match ended quickly. Wait, them bitches restarted the match. Killings pinned him again with an inside groin hold cradle and did some more gay dancing, some might call that pin combination a schoolboy. At last sweet urination is mine. Its nice to see they completely buried this Bob character twice in the span of One Minute.

Wait, Scott D'Amore has something to say, he managed to restart the match for a third time. You Fat Canadian Fuck, I HAVE TO POTTY. Rude is applying a rest hold. He waste time deliberately to piss me off. Crazy elbow thingy by Ron Killings. Im not sure if he actually hit him, but Bob sure sold it well. Delayed Jogging Powerslam. The announcer called it a running powerslam but I disagree, it was definitely a slow jog. Hockey stick by DAmore followed up by a Lariat to the back of the head by Rude. Ron Killings got knocked the fuck out.

Another God Damn tribute to Sting. These are getting gay fast.

AJ Styles gives tribute by speaking about how the fruity multicolored face paint Sting ripped off the movie the crow and completely revamped his character. And piss break.

Joe cuts an awesome promo:
He mentions how he put Daniels in the hospital with a vicious Musclebuster which resulted in Daniels not being able to hold his new born son. Samoa Joe is fucking hardcore.

Ha Ha, Joe refuses to talk about Sting as Shane Douglas requested. The old Shane Douglas would kick the new Shane Douglass ass if they ever met Im pretty sure. Conversely the Taz with one z would strait up murder Tazz with two zs for being a big fat sissy fuck.

Now its time for the mainevent match, they get the introductions over with and take a commercial break. It should be noted that AJ Styless entrance is a golden shower.

Sabin and Shelly start out in a wrist lock. Pointless spinning arm thing by Sabin that involves him rolling around on the mat looking like a twat. They get back in the tie up position and Shelly while holding on to Sabin in a wrist lock slaps him in the face, successfully making Sabin his bitch. Arm drag, a head scissors, splash, another splash attempted by Sabin but his repetitiveness results in a boot to the face.

HAHA Shelly grabs him by the balls. Shelly is now wrenching the testicles of one, Nick Sabin. The thing is though, Sabin likes having his testicles touched so Sabin hits a huricanrana effectively burying his opponents face deep into the crevices of his balls. Mediocre double team shit by AJ Styles and Daniels. Strong breaks AJs fucking face with a face crusher thingy. AJ retaliates with a dropsault. Im sure somewhere Paul London sees this, and is weeping over how much better TNA manages their cruiserweights.

Shelly takes control. Shelly fucks AJs skull over and over again. Thats by far one of the coolest moves in wrestling. Rod Strong needs to stop wearing man panties. He comes in and does nothing much important. And Shelly is in again. A lot of cool shit happens in a short amount of time. In particular there is this double team shit involving a flying move onto a guy being held in a surfborard and shit. Quite Awesome.

Aries grabs AJ Styles tights and attempts to give him a wedgie. AJ doesnt like this much so he responds with the Pele kick. Daniels cleans some house, tiltaworld back breakers a mother fucker. Sabin and Danels Suicide dive. Cool spot, worthy of a replay. Old Man Daniels gets drop toe holded into the guard rail. Sabin goes to cradle shock a mother fucker but Strong interferes. Shelly finishes the match with the worst move of the match, a sloppy looking sliced bread number two.

Captain Charisma!
Christian pimps Sting and we have commercial break again. Comerical breaks allow me to clean up my sloppy play by play calling a little bit.

And now its your true mainevent. Jeff Jerk-it is here to close the show. Big surprise. I actually kind of dug this segment. First they had a guy that came out dressed as the Sting who used to wear bright pink spandex and multicolored face paint. Those were crazy times though, everyone dressed homosexual. I bet it had something to do with the drug use. Next they had a guy dressed up as Crow Sting along with A MAN IN A CHICKEN SUIT! Crow Sting gave the man in a chicken suit a piggy back ride followed by pointing his bat at him mockingly. This was really cool. Then Monty Brown came out as retired Sting. Kind of meh, but not terrible. This led to the top faces fighting the top heels and close of show.

Closing Thoughts:
This wasnt the best Impact theyve ever had but I was still entertained. The only thing that was Must See was the six man tag match. I do however like the promo that led to the match. Alex Shelly, Roderick Strong, and Austin Aries addressed how they have been overlooked by TNA management. Seeing them go over a team that had AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels in it clean was a good move. It gave them a much needed rub, and by going over worthless Sabin it didnt make anybody important lose any face.

here ya go d dog, but putting it in three differen't places is a bit much.

Well after getting the chance to see the show, if you want to see the show yourself visit here: http://www.wrestlepower.net/showthread.php?p=85895#post85895,
i've changed my opinion slightly. And fortunatley for TNA i have changed it for the good. So allow me to give another review covering everything in the show after i have seen it for myself and not just read it and gone off other people's opinions.

Team 3D vs. Buck Quartermain and Lex Lovett

Well although i still believe this match didn't do much as far as furthering Team 3D as contenders since they already are the No.1 Contenders then this match serves more as a way of showing their dominance. Also this match wasn't as short as i was lead to believe, granted it was no 5 star classic but it did have some decent action and the fans were dead into it so yeahi enjoyed this match more then i expected.

Jarrett and crew backstage interview

First let me say that Eric Young owns all. As for the interview it was your typical Jarrett interview but it all got a little crazy near the end when D'Amore showed up and although i got the jist of it with the whole Jackie Gayda problem the dialogue was quite mumbled. Am still interested as to where this Gayda storyline is leading.

Apolo and Homicide w/Konnan vs. The Naturals

Was great to see Homicide inside a TNA ring and even better to hear the fans chating away for him. Homcide has the ability to be big in TNA if they let him, unfortunatley they didn't give him the chance in this "match". Quite dissapointed as this could of been an entertaining match since The Naturals are a good tag team and Homcide is just Homcide. Hopefully Homicide will get him chance on the next P.P.V against BG and Kip James as that to would be an entertaining match, and also i'm hoping they don't make it a 6 man and add Konnan to one team and Bob Armstrong to the other as that would just be stupid.

TNA's Generation Next confronts Zbysko

Gotta say that this promo was actually better to see then reading about it. It's a shame that Aries dominated most of it as i would of liked Strong and Shelley to get more words in then just "yeah" atleast so they could show some personality. Even so great promo and you could hear the fans in the background marking out for it which shows that there truely is a general feeling that a lot of the guys in the X Division ar ebeing overlooked.

Bobby Roode w/ Coach D’Amore vs. Ron Killings

This was another one which surprised me. Orignally when i read about Truth going over twice in a matter of second i thought it was a bit silly but it actually added to the entertainment and Truth got over huge. Once the match got started properly and was able to develop it was quite good to watch, not the longest match in the world but it had some decent action so both men got over strong in this one or three as it was really. Hopefully TNA will continue to push both men as they have great talent and can add to TNA's television.

Samoa Joe backstage interview

This interview was one of the best i have seen, Joe's witty sarcasm yet pure intensity mix together to give us one hell of a promo. Joe just doesn't seem to care that he nearly finished off Daniels and it's great it's like he plans to finish Daniels career and then go out drinking afterwards without even an after thought of what he has done and i love it.

Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, and Alex Shelley vs. A.J. Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Chris Sabin

This match was awesome, absolutely great i was riveted all the way. Some great highflying action, mixed with quality wrestling and decent spots. Also seeing Aries, Strong and Shelley going over Daniels and Styles was a cool moment although i gotta feel bad for Sabin as he deserves better. I have a feeling that TNA will team Aries, Strong and Shelley together as an official group so to help all three men elevate in the X Division by going off each other's steam which will be interesting to watch. All in all a damn good match that i would advise any wrestling fan to watch as it doesn't matter what you like this match should entertain you unless you only like hardcore wrestling.

Sting "Tribute"

You know i complained about this segment but i actually really enjoyed this segment. Once again Eric Young owned all. He imitated Sting from the early 90's perfectly he even looked the part and it was great to watch as although they didn't show any footage of Sting in the early 90's seeing Young dressed up did bring back some memories. Chris Harris also did an awesome job of imitating Crow Sting and he too really did look the part and again it brought back the memroies and a great nostalgia feeling. Not exactly sure what the need of the chicked was, i know it was playing off the whole "Crow" idea but still it didn't really add much besides the "Kill the chicken" chants which did make me laugh. Once Monty came out you could tell it had been heavily edited and it dropped in quality slightly because it jumped from bit to bit due to the editing. Still it was a funny segment and the ending with the faces taking control and standing in the ring was a solid ending to a solid show.

Overall it was a lot better then i had originally thought and i was quite entertained by this iMPACT! again it wasn't perfect and not the best show i have seen but TNA were able to create a good balance of both wrestling and talking so yeah i'm happy with this show.

Well like I said I have only seen the first 8 minutes of the show, and really do not want to see anymore of it from the results.

What I will do for you is I will give a full review of TNA. I will post what they do right, what they do wrong, and my overall opinion of them. From that we can get some discussion going.

The only thing is just want to make clear a few things. If someone jumps in and starts trying to treat me like a child and say that I am using the wrong terms via marketing 101 and then call me immature for trying to clarify myself then I would appreciate someone stepping in and help me keep the topic on topic :)

Lol don't worry Advocate i know fuck all about marketing so there's no worries there. As far as your last discussion i found that to be one of the best discussion this board has seen and i would love for it to be brought over to the TNA boards. And i promise it will stay on topic becuasei will make sure of that, so if you want to say your bit on TNA then go ahead but make a new thread as this thread is dedicated to this week's iMPACT!. I look forward to your thoughts and then arguing against them ;)
