POLICE who arrested a sicko for stealing women's underwear raided his home - and found 4000 pairs of knickers.

The 55-year-old perv, from the western Japan city of Hiroshima, reportedly admitted collecting the panties over the past 12 years.

He is believed to have told the local Fuji television network: "I love women's underwear and could not control my desire."

Police said they nicked the man after he was caught on a woman's balcony trying to steal her briefs by her husband, who called in cops.

Next time they should try working undie-cover.
