Just been having a look around on WWE Shopzone, and Came across this New Item for Triple H

To me that happens to look alot like The Nazi styled Badge and Eagle that they were using?

Now this thread isn't here to Bash the in ring work Of Triple H. It's apprently taken from Motorhead Album as Hunter is a big Fan and Represents Bravery....Apprently.

The Thing is i actually do like The T Shirt, It's just i'm bound to get **** for wearing it you no.

Any thoughts?

Even if it was a Swastika, I still wouldn't be pissed about it. People wrongly associate it with Hitler, Nazis, anti semitism, hate, death, war, the Holocaust etc. etc. when it's been around for over 3000 years and was in fact a symbol of life and good luck.

Sure it was kinda tarnished during it's usage by the Nazi's but that fact remains. Anyway, before I come off as a complete history buff, the shirt looks good.

Anything you wear causes controversey Gary. Your so damn ugly the WWE would pull it due to bad publicity. Hehehehe.

Well I have looked at it twice and I have to say, IMO, the simularities are pretty damn close. My mum once saw Triple H and asked, 'Who's the Nazi?' So non-wrestling folk may think you are a neo-Nazi. I'd be a bit sketchy buying that bad boy.

-Edit-
To add to Drunkys history of the Swastika. It was originally a symbol of a Greek territory, cant remember which one something tells me Sparta...... Meh I forget.

that's a sweet shirt I do think it would cause controversy because there are those people who will automatically associate it with hate and such. so I think I will get it and wear it to my catholic school and see what happens.

Well Triple H has had alot of rumors I've heard about being a racist. I don't really believe it but look at that Triple H sign and u might recognize that it is very similar to a symbol of the KKK. So this kind of thing isn't really new for Trips. Once again though, I doubt all of this has any meaning.

actually drunkacho, the swastika is different to the symbol of goodluck.

the swastika is in a reversed direction
the ancient chinese/buddhist symbol is in th opposite direction.

anywayz ... the shirt looks good.

I know that, but that's what it means in other cultures and religions.

If I were Triple H, and I'm not, I would take that one part of the shirt off. It's just TOO close to being a Swatstika. And as a celebrity, especially one who's career is dependent on his fans, he can't afford to piss off anyone. Word of mouth is a helluva thing and one offended fan can quickly become 10, 10 can become 50, 50 can become 100, 100 can become thousands, until he is getting booed in the arena for the same reason X-Pac was. Not because he is a heel and the booing is all in good fun, but because the fans really don't like him as a person. IF that ever happens, you can count on any movie career he might have had quickly being flushed down the toilet. And regardless of whether he's a racist or not (which I don't think that he is), the color that matters most to anyone isn't black, white, or brown-it's green.

Ok I don't know if you made that up or took it from somewhere but that was the best line ever. I'm gonna have to use that someday. Back to the topic as I said before it sure seems like alot of coincidences involving Trips and these things. I'm still not sure but you never know.
