Lance Storm has updated his online commentary. This week he talks about leaving alone any in-ring work. “A lot of you have been wondering why I have been completely of the road and television the past few weeks,” writes Storm, “Well this is your answer. I have been talking with the office about taking my career in a new direction for some time now.” From what we understand this has been a recent topic between Storm and WWE management since WrestleMania. “I have been dissatisfied with my in ring career for quite a while,” He says, “I have been lost in the quagmire for the better part of the year, with no direction, no focus, and quite frankly no forward motion. This isn’t anyone’s fault so much as it is a compilation of several factors. I have always wanted to be an important part of the product and I had come to the point where I was feeling that I could contribute more outside the ring than I have been inside it. With the encouragement and support of Dave Finlay (WWE road agent and the man I respect most in this business) I started looking into the possibility of becoming a road agent.” You can check out the full piece at www.*StormWrestling*.com.

I dont know about you but I think this is one of the biggest loses the WWE are going to experience. Storm has to be one of the, if not the, best technically sound wrestlers on Raw today. He has really been given no chance to show hsi potential. But what I also wonder is if Lance will open a wrestling school.

Absolutely terrible news. This is a prime example of why Storm deserves so much more. He gets absolutely no push but he doesn't complain, he trys to help out the company in other ways. He's a real class act and it'll be hard for anyone to argue that point.

Ohh nooo...I've never been a big fan of Storm, but his skills was good but WWE doesn't give him a chance,I think a year from now,WWE will only have HHH in the bussinnes.....:)

I didn't like Lance Storm in the WWE and I think they could've made Storm better then what they did.

I heard. I know it sucks but i think he will soon find out he is made for the ring and not backstage. I WILL come out of retirement.

You heard it here first. LOL.

Well that is a shame, this guy has talent and can wrestle a good match. But it is a shame that we are losing a good talented wrestler.

It is a shame. From the moment he steped foot in the WWE, they had nothing good to offer Storm. The biggest storyline he was in, was with the Un-Americans. Once they split, and Regal left Lance Storm hasn't been the same with that stupid "boring" the WWE made, and the ladies man with Val Venis.

Lance Storm would get over if they gave him a heel angle. No, not a goofy one like the Un-Americans. I'm talking about a kind of "cerebral assasin II". Make him tough, smart, and a little sadistic. I think Lance could really get into that.

It's time for SuperHeels to return anyway. Faces are no fun.

I think they should of sent him into the IC division, or send him to Smackdown to feud in the US division thats what i would of done with him.

I know I would have atleast gave him a chance at the title like at the RR or something like that sort of like RVD got his chance but never held the heavyweight gold. I heard that he had retired in Calgary saying something like I'm going to end my carreer where I started but I guess that has been scratched. I am really sad to see this guy leave, and awsome wrestler and a great guy by what it looks like

My 100th post wooohoooo!!

I don't know why the WWE does **** like this. Lance Storm has been patient and what does he get for it? Nothing, just a gimmick with Val Venis, who is just as stale as he was when he came in.
I haven't always been a fan of Lance Storm, but this is just too much to handle! I respect all the Superstars, but even more Superstars like Lance.
Way to go WWE! They want Jeff Hardy to come back, but they can't find something valuable for Lance to do! The WWE has their priorities mixed up!
