So yeah, This is my “descript” day of yesterday, took me agaes to write it, so you cunts better fucking like it.
On the way in to the Venue. I had some fat smelley guy standing behind me. Man he made feel ill. … Anyway once inside, I notice Austin Aries, Darren Burridge, and Johnny Storm sitting there. I got Aries autograph, man that guys cool, He shook my hand ~! And signed his promo picture, as well as signing my Northern Bash Poster ~!
Pac won the 6-man Cruiser Weight match by pinning Spud,
- Featured insane amounts of fucking High spots ~! Problem was, this match was confusing, considering I don’t think the rules where ever made clear :S I thought it’d be elimination style, but I suddenly realised it wasn’t when every one started breaking up pinfalls. Gotta say I’m impressed with Pac for his total heel’ness, and I was also impressed by Little Dragon, God that guy can fly ~!
Nick Damocles defeated RD Wood,
- Pointless ~! I’d say it was filler crap. Nothing spectacular in this @ all straight SQUASH ~! Match.
D-Unit beat Team IWW by DQ,
- Lemme says this. Madman Manson, is the funniest guy, I have ever had the privilege to watch to be fair. Otherwise, there wasn’t anything special about this match. It ended on DQ after a bell shot…
Joe Legend beat DevilMan
- Decent enough match. Legend has improved since the last time I saw him, and PROBABLY could make it in the WWE, he seems to have the look they want these days.
~~ Intermission Baby ~~
Decided to take a ponder around the “arena”, Noticed Joe and Spud where doing signings, So I took my “Northern Bash” poster to the signing table and got there signatures. Realised I was thirsty, and went and bought a pint of fosters ~! Unfortunately the wrestling shop stall didn’t have anything I wanted…Oh well :(
Austin Aries “verbally assaulted” Newcastle, by calling the place….Sunderland, and refuses to wrestle, and wants to go home. Out comes the MEW Chairman, and the match is on, …in RAVENS RULES ~!
Seamus O'Shaunessy defeated D'Lo Brown and Assassin to win the IWW Title,
- Might I just add…D’lo is superbly over here in the north east. Anyway it wasn’t a bad match to be fair. It could have looked a lot better if it was SOS Vs D’lo down to the fact the ring didn’t exactly look big enough to contain all 3. However it was a pretty well worked match, and it was nice to see D’lo do the Sky High out of nowhere. SOS Wins, But D’lo is still Superbly over after the bout.
Darren Burridge/Jonny Storm beat The Geordie Boys
- All I can say is…Storm and Burridge are fantastic. There promo, was possibly a highlight of the entire night to be fair. The Geordie Boys on the other hand, I don’t think where on the same level as Storm or Burridge, but it was still good none the less. One of the Boys, landed on his head four times in a row, which had me worried.
Johnny Moss beat Doug Williams
- Wasn’t anything less than a technical affair. Pretty good match. Williams is fucking huge in person. Considering I walked straight past him before he went to the ring. However I was slightly confuses by the ending. Oh well Moss wins somehow.
Raven defeated Austin Aries after interference from Sandman
- Now here’s my personal highlight of the night. Fantastic brawl really. Some key spots are, fighting on the stairs, and Raven repeatedly punching Aries until he took a tumble down the stairs, quite reminiscent of Dreamer/Raven, too Ravens signature Chair spot, I gotta say props to Aries though, His 450 splash, looks fucking unreal live. It’s amazing. It has to bee seen to be believed IMO. So anyway, Aries Manger gets involved, and who comes out? THE FUCKING SANDMAN ~! Oh my word. It was amazing to be there, just to see that alone.
Oh my word, after the show finished, Raven and Sandman did an autograph signing. Boy it was fucking crazy ~! It’s amazing to be able to say, I managed to meet my favourite wrestler of all time.
