from wrestlepower.com
SpikeTV has ordered a seven second delay for RAW tonight due to the nipple slip fiasco from two weeks ago, as well as fear of nasty language being used in the "Diva Trash Talk" segment tonight, as there was in last year's contest during a similar skit.
The TNA deal with SpikeTV is said to be signed, sealed, and confirmed. There is a small legal issue, which will expire imminently, that has delayed SpikeTV making the deal official. As soon as that issue expires, which we're told is "moments away," the announcement will be made public. We expect this as soon as tomorrow. TNA in its' videos teased this in a cryptic backwards sort of way, as we reported about earlier.
WOW! this is huge news .... The WWE better watch there backs coz now that TNA is on Spike TV more people are going to watch TNA and become more of a fan of it. I am happy about this coz now the WWE will have to step there game up.
Thoughts?

I think the move will work well for TNA. They should get more publicity but i hope that Spike TV doesn't look towards TNA to recieve the same ratings WWE got because they will get nothing like it. For those who haven't seen it or are curious here is the video from TNA with the Cryptic messages in them.
This is the orginal video that opened No Surrender:

And this is the video played backwards which holds quite a few interesting cryptic messages:

I doubt Vince McMahon fears Jarrett but still it was humerous and the line about "More are coming to TNA" makes me wonder exactly who these people are. I would say Charlie Haas is a big choice but you never know.

At this point TNA will serve little to no threat to the WWE. They've gotta do a better job of pushing their homegrown talent rather than just bringing in the next released WWE superstar and pushing them as if they'll draw money/ratings (chances are if the WWE released them it will take a ton of character development/rebuilding to get them over). For TNA to succeed they've gotta do something about Jarrett who could end up killing any chance of them evolving/growing into competition for the WWE, they'll need a midcard title as their non X Division talent need something to help get them over, and they need to find a way to get Heyman away from the WWE and give him full creative control. I'm excited for TNA and for the wrestling industry as a whole but they really will have to do a hell of a lot to get over. BTW, on a sidenote it would be wise of TNA to sign Charlie Haas and slowly build him up as a Bret Hart/Chris Benoit/Lance Storm type of character as he's a guy who could end up being like Benoit in that he can be the guy who you can count on for great in ring performances and could end up becoming one of the future stars of the company.

It's public alright - this is from the TNA website..
Great news for everyone who has been asking for this - pity that I cannot watch TNA in Australia (yet, or shortly as far as I could guess) although I am sure now if I will make a point to catch some shows and see if the company is really competition for WWE - this might eventually bring back some of the 'War' that people loved and believed created great television.

Good for TNA. I really dont care about them getting this deal, I'm not a huge fan, and they won't compete with Vince. That being said, TNA is one of the top 10 promotions in the world and their product is better than WWE. Plus..Joeism on tv WOW!!! :))

So it sounds like it will be on Saturday nights....well, as I recall WCW started off on Saturday afternoons, so it's a start. I would have liked to have seen TNA come in right away and compete, but I suppose they are a few years away from being able to do that.
