-- According to those close to him, Paul Heyman is frustrated with the direction of WWE’s version of ECW, including how Monday’s edition of RAW went down. Recently on WWE.com’s Byte This, Heyman brought up that his contract with the company expires next year, and that he is unaware whether they will renew it, or if he will want to stay with the company. He also mentioned that “competition may be good for WWE.”
This was posted about a week ago, but I thought I would like to bring it up after all that Heyman said on Sundays ECW One Night Stand. He took a lot of shots at WWE superstars, although I doubt he will not get a contract renewal. But maybe he said all that to leave with a bang knowing he would leave?

He mentioned "competition may be good for WWE", and he's absatootely right. Last night, WWE had to compete with the Hardcore Homecoming (that was the day before, though), usually you'd think WWE would hold back from stuff like this, but I think the competition had some part to do with the PPV being so good. Imagine if Paul Heyman, a creative genius, signed with TNA, a potentialed Wrestling band that lacks creativity.

Although it would suck to see Heyman leave WWE, I think if he left it for TNA, the current dumbass, lazy bookers would be motivated to book more properly and consistantly.

As much as it would hurt the WWE intially to see Heyman leave, I do think joining TNA would give both promotions the kick in the ass that they desperatly need.

I think that, if anything, Vince will have Heyman re-start ECW on a permanent basis. If Heyman were to go to TNA though, he could really do some damage and probably create a real rivalry within a few years between the WWE and TNA.

Heyman also says he has a screenplay and various other NON-wrestling projects he can attend to. TNA is run pretty shantily, I would hope he waits for things to improve a little before he goes in and gives them direction. I think the Jarretts are too stuborn to ever let him take any serious amount of control so it's not like he can swoop in and save them. If they get their **** together than i say great, let heyman go over there and give his imput.

Actually TNA got rid of Dusty as booker and their new booker is Scott D'Amore. Now from all indications, he is a really good booker and he'll probably help TNA immensely. That being said, two great minds are better than one, but Vince isnt gonna let Heyman go that easily.

Heyman was competeing with the wwe with no money and no offence, a bunch of nobody misfits that he turned into somebodys, so in my mind I think Heyman and TNA would be great. Heyman has some big name friends that he could bring to the company, and he is a wrestling guiness to boot. It might even come to Monday Night Wars again. Just think of the competition, It's making me drule already.

Heyman would definitely be what TNA needs. Heyman can definitely turn around TNA and actually make it worth watching. But I honestly can't see it happening because Vince will do whatever it takes to keep Heyman away from TNA and thats probably by giving Heyman a bigger role or will give him a part to play in the creative team for either raw or smackdown.

I can't see this going bad for the WWE anyway you look at it.

If Heyman stays with the WWE:
He will get a better role in the company which would most likely lead to a better product.

If he goes to TNA:
He makes TNA the competitor that we all know TNA can become. And that competition brings out the best in both companies.

That is very true Jesse. Because thats what made the WWE so good back in the late 90's is because of competition (WCW). But now there's really two questions needed to be answer. Is Paul Heyman considering going to TNA and will TNA still be around when Heyman's contract runs out in a year?

I think if TNA gets a tv deal they might be able to stick around until heymans contract runs out, then he can go there and then if everything goes well boom wwe has competition and are forced to be good like they were in the 90's.
