The Staff here at WP decided to do a End of the Year Award, and here are the results. This is the best and worst from the past year at WP!
Best WWE poster: Cripplerlock
Cripplerlock defines the phrase "quality over quantity". In his time here, Cripplerlock has gained a reputation as being one of the most thought provoking and insightful posters on the board. In particular, his reviews of Raw and SmackDown have been a consistent high point of the WWE forum.
Best Off-Topic Poster: Legendaryken
What can be said about Legendaryken that his username doesn't imply? Ken provides a wit and humor that is always a highlight in the Off Topic forum.
Funniest poster: Legendaryken
Well, Legendary Ken's name pops up again. As mentioned before, Ken's wit and humor have made him a favorite in the Off topic section, and as such he deserves the award as WP's funniest poster.
Most missed member: CLIT
This one almost goes without saying. CLIT is the kind of guy that pretty much everyone likes. Whether he was ruling the Hip Hop Underground or playing ringmaster on his Late Night Talk Show, CLIT always brought excitement and laughter to WP. The real world may has taken much of CLIT's time these days, but he still pops in every now and then to check up on things. We wish him the best in everything he is doing, and hope that one day he is able to return.
Best Staff member: Scott
What can we say about Scott? He was hired on before the forums were even opened, and has been instrumental to the success of WP since day 1. Scott has been a constant, steadying force for WP, and without him the success we have had would truly not be possible.
Biggest *******: Hurricane
Another choice that perhaps goes without saying. Hurricane has been a constant thorn in the side of WP and several other forums, earning him the dubious distinction of Biggest *******. Whether it be arguing his innocence, blaming his failure on others, or threatening to spam, Hurricane has pissed off just about everyone at one time or another.
Best WP moment: Main Site opening
There have been plenty of great moments in WP's short history, but the opening of the main site tops this list. The Main Site took much longer to complete than anticipated, but once it opened it brought a certain legitimacy to WP, so it takes top honors here.
Best Thread:10,000 posts
The 10,000 post thread is a spin off from the 1000 post thread. The 10,000 post thread is currently going strong and steadily marching towards the goal of 10,000 posts in a single thread. To go back and read it all would take hours, but looking at the early posts in it does provide an interesting look back at yesterday.
Best forum: Off-Topic
The Off Topic forum provides WP's members with a place to go and discuss just about anything. From personal problems to funny moments, Off Topic covers it all. It's because of it's flexibility that Off Topic earns the distinction as Best Forum
Most Shocking Moment:Shantlun
Antlun was a character who annoyed just about everyone at one time or another. However, we were all in for a huge shock when it was discoved that our own Staff Member, The Shanny Man, was actually masquerading as Antlun all along! Thankfully Shanny's alter-ego is long gone, but few will forget the day when Shanny was exposed as the poster behind the infamous Antlun.
Weirdest Post: Duff Naked in the pub
I think that the name says it all.
Biggest Drunk: Duff
An Irishman winning the biggest drunk award may seem stereotypical, but it's true. While intoxicated, Duff has been known to occasionally go on banning sprees and delete sigs at random. Still, the often drunk Duff has proven to be a huge asset to WP.

That's about it for our End of the Year awards. There are many people that really deserve awards for their efforts here at WP, and while some may be overlooked as a result of categorizing our awards, we would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your continued support. WP would not be the place it is today without the involvement of all it's members.
