According to Sports Navi, Ultimo Dragon has quit World Wrestling Entertainment and will leave the company by April 30th.

Ultimo will return to Japan and he looks forward to fighting at his own potential for the Japanese fans once again.

PW Insider is reporting that Dragon will actually be taking a short leave of absence from the company to tend to business in Japan which most likely has to deal with his Toryumon promotion. He is apparently scheduled to return to WWE sometime in the fall to wrestle.

A Japanese source is reporting that Ultimo quit WWE to return to wrestle in Japan with no mention of him returning to WWE, while there are now reports stating that Ultimo will indeed be back in the company later this year.

Why on Earth would he want to return to WWE, after the way they have treated him since he left. He should stay in Japan, where at least someone will see him wrestling!

i cant blame dragon for leaving..he has basically been overlooked by the bookers and creative team, who seem to always overlook the cruisers...if i was him i would go to japan and forget about the wwe

I don't think that the Dragon will return to the WWE. At this point in his career he probably has enough money to retire so it's not like the money would be keeping him around. I would personally love to see him go to ROH and tear up the ring over there. Or if not he could go to TNA.

I hope Ultimo Dragon doesn't comeback to the WWE cause they didn't use him properly but if he doesn't retire I would like to see him in TNA.

I saw this coming and he needs to go back home to Japan because Vince isn't going to do anything with him.

This guy held nine belts at one time in Japan but he can't even get a cruiserweight title run here in the USA?

finally, he has an amazing talent that doesnt deserve to just be wasted, while he is growing older too...

thought the american fans appreciate him, so do we, but there was no where to wrestle for him, therefore he went back because there is now Wrestling "entertainment" over there...it is...Just Wrestling...
