Next Champions

If all of you were bookers/writers of Raw and Smackdown, who would you choose to be the next Raw and Smackdown champions?

On Raw I think that I would choose Chris Jericho. The fans are really starting to get behind him and I think that soon he'll become a gigantic face over on Raw. He also has all the in ring and mic skills required.

On Smackdown I would give the title to Booker T. He has the mic skills needed and I have found that his in ring work has been much improved over the last two weeks. I like him more when he's a heel. I think that his fued with Takwer should be saved until after he wins the belt. That way when Taker beats him it won't be a huge loss because he was already champion.

I would give the strap to jericho then to christian then to hurricane then to stevie then to Randy then to Batista.

over on SD: i would give it to Booker then to UT then to Bradshaw then to REY then to Ultimo then to paul london, then to RVD.

I don't see any problem with Cruiserweights being Heavyweight champion. But if they are going to be chamion then they have to be given a push wrestling against heavyweights. I don't think London or Dragon will ever win the title because they are just not over enough to. I could see Rey Mysterio getting a short title run some day. Then a bigger guy will take it from him in a storyline where the bigger guy says Rey should stick to the Cruiserweight Devision.

I dont see any of the crusierweights winning the RAW or SD world Championships at all in the future. There character isnt built up to wrestling against the big guys. Back to the question, for RAW, I see Chris Jericho and for SD, either Booker T (No surprise) or Rob Van Dam.

I can also see RVD winning the title on Smackdown. But I don't think that he will be the next one. He'll probably win it from the next champion.

2- Shawn Michaels
3- Kane
4- Edge
5- Triple H (after a while without the title)

Smackdown

1- Undertaker
2- RVD
3- Booker T
4- John Cena
5- Charlie Haas

On SD it's not the heavy-weight title it's the wwe championship. and yes I would like to see them as the wwe champions one day.

I don't think that we'll ever see: Heavyweight World Champion: Christian!
Edge and Jericho should be the next in line to become the new champion; as for Smackdown, Rey Mysterio could win the title. I would go for Booker to become the new WWE champion; I think that Bradshaw could feud with Taker, which would take him out of the title picture. That's the best idea!

I would like to see Jericho get the Raw belt in the year, but we know Triple H will win it in the next 12months so he can have his program with Edge he has been dieing for. We have seen Triple H v. Jericho quite a few times so I don't see it happening anytime soon.
Smackdown... is difficult, I want to see Cena win it but he should really hold the US Title for a while, hopefully improve it's credibility. I don't think RVD will get a push yet, I'd keep the title with Eddie for a while and have Booker T win it. The down side is if BookerT gets squashed by Taker as the plan was, then he can't go straight intot he title picture, it would be a joke. Smakcdown is lacking in superstars right now.

that is what I mean. I don't think were going to be seeing cena as the champ for a while. I do want to see the undertaker as Champ again he has only held it 5 times in his 13 year carreer. I think that's his standings.

I believe that on Raw the next Champ will be Triple H floowed by Edge.

And then on Smackdown i think the next Champ will the Undertaker.

But as for people i believe deserve the belt i would say on Raw Benoit should keep it for a long time and then drop it to Kane i think Y2J should follow that and then Drop the belt to HBK in a third encounter however with a switch of roles Y2J as the Face and HBK as the Heel and then well i don't know where to go.

And then on S/D i believe Eddie needs a good run then Taker should take the belt and then i think he should drop it to Goldberg (gotta have a huge indistructable star to stop Taker) but Goldberg only holds for a short time and then drops to Booker T

I think that Trips will win at Backlash, unfortunately, and then will drop it to Edge sometime after that. As for Smackdown, I think Eddie will hold the title for a while and then eventually lose it to Big Show or Undertaker.

I agree with WordLife about HHH being the next Raw champ. I'm not too worried about it though as he is going to drop it to Edge. It seems to give a champ more credibility if they win the strap from HHH. Nothing against Benoit, it's just that HHH has more stature. The one thing that does worry me, is that WWE.com announced Edge will be a title contender in November, which leaves the possibility of another seven month HHH title reign. In that period though i think we'll see a continuation of HHHs feud with HBK, as both men have announced it is far from over. Benoit will probably feud with Edge for the numberone contender slot, with Edge coming out on top to take the Gold from HHH.

That leaves my order for Raw as:
1)HHH
2)HBK
3)Edge.

Smackdown however, is slightly harder to call. Personally i dont want to see Booker win the title yet, as i'd like to see Eddie hold it for a few more months. The way things wereleft at the end of SD last week, i'm not entirely sure who is the main heel contender, Bradshaw or Booker T. I think it might be Bradshaw. Assuming this is the case, then I don't think Eddie will drop the title to Bradshaw. After the Bradshaw feud, if indeed there is one, i think Undertakershould step up to the base, as Eddie has nothing to be ashamed of by losing the title to Undertaker. The only problem with Undertaker's character is that he's supposed to be indestuctible in a way, so he would need a long title run to demonstrate this. He should feud with the likes of RVD and Haas giving them apush up the ladder. Eventually he should drop the title to the Big Show. Yes, strange choice, i know, but he has the physique to beat the Undertaker. Big Show should have a shortenoug reign, maybewinning it at a joint PPV, where the next PPV is a SD one, where he should drop the title to Booker T. Let Booker run and see what he can do before finally dropping it to Cena at the end of the year/early next year.
Which leaves my SD choices as:
1)Undertaker
2)Big Show
3)Booker T
4)Cena
