Why was I banned from IOW?

I would post this over on IOW, but my IP address was banned.

So my question is, why was my Ip address banned? I haven't done anything wrong. Unless it was banned from lack of posting.

Please, I would really like to know.

I'm not sure if anyone over here can answer that other than Trevor or Sonic. It would have been better if you had asked one of them in a PM rather than posting this here.

My only guess is that there was a spammer who had the same IP as you (via a dial-up modem) and the person who banned you thought he was banning the spammer and didn't know that he shouldn't ban dial-up modem users via IP addressses.
