Well last week I talked about RAW and how it revolved around Triple H...This week I am going to talk about the Stone Cold situation...

For years Stone Cold Steve Austin also dubbed as the "Texas Rattlesnake" and the "Toughest S.O.B" has entertained fans with his wild and take no prisoners aproach to life... When Stone Cold Steve Austin first appeared on WWE Programming we thought who is this buz cut guy..First Appearring with the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase Steve Austin had no persona, no character, nor did he have much of a personality..But one thing he did have was carisma..And in the world of Sports Entertainment you must have all 3 of those elements..Many didnt think Steve Austin would make it..

Vince McMahon stepped in and met with Austin and what was to come was something that would change the face of Wrestling forever..Steve Austin evolved into "Stone Cld" Steve Austin and started whipping ass from coast to coast..Many thought Stone Cold was invinsible..Many lived through Stone Cold.. " How many peopl can say that they beat their bosses ass and get paid for it" Austin would say.. Stone Cold was the epitimy of what every person wants to do everyday..

Then the unthinkable happened..Stone Cold did not show up for work.. Stone Cold the biggest star in WWE history did not show up for RAW..What had happened to the once invinsible man...Had he reached his boiling point? Had Stone Cold went off the deep end?...I turn on CNN and what do I see.. I see a caption that reads "Wrestling Star Stone Cold is a fugitive"..WHAT?..well we later find out that Austin abused his beautiful wife Debra...Stone Cold and Debra seperate and thats the last we hear about it.....

Then last Monday Stone Cold Steve Austin does not appear on RAW...What has happened this time.. We find out that Stone Cold has abused his girlfriend..Now I will be the first to admit that Stone Cold is my favorite wrestler and I have forgiven Austin for everything else and continued to support him..But I think Stone Cold has taken it too far.... He is getting a little carried away..I meanthis is the second time this has happened...Is the beer starting to go to his head? or is Stone Cold just beginning to wear down..As long as I have watched Steve Austin perform I have never seen this..But it seems as if over the past few years Stone Cold is having a phisical and mental breakdown...Can he no longer take the lights and noise like he once could..is this just an internet rumor gone too far? Or has Stone Cold Steve Austin reached the end of his road..? Time will only tell but as far as im concerned Stone Cold Steve Austin is done with pro Wrestling.. I mean how can people continue to support somebody who cant control his self..If I were in Vince McMahon's shoes I dont know if i could or would keep giving Stone Cold chances...But Vince McMahon has gone on record as saying he will do anything for his talent.. But this time I think Austin has used up his nine lives..

Well thats this weeks edition..And dont forget to look at The Big Picture...Until next week...

Hey Cena316, great column. I hope Austin does come back to the WWE one day. I don't know if we could judge the personal life of Austin because we are not in his shoes. We know it's very wrong to hit a woman, but maybe she did something to him. She must have provoked him in a fassion that led to that. Also, Austin is a celebrity. One thing that the news and media over hear, they are all over Austin and try to ruin him.

About Austin not being on the job, that's because he and Vince are having contract negotiations and Austin wants full rights to his name "Stone Cold". So if one day he wants to make a movie down the line, he could use that name, and he won't have to pay Vince. On the other hand, Rock pays Vince to use the name Rock.

Great work Cena316, this was a great column.

Great Read:)

Good column. And K-Dogg, ditto everything you said in your post. As far as I am concerned, everything is just a rumor until the facts are released. But, deep down, I like having SCSA on the television.

LOL, same here. What is Raw with out Austin...Boring. He still gives the life to Raw and there is a big gap to fill if he leaves.
