I just had a breakthrough.. I was thinking about Kane VS Edge at Backlash and reading through the many threads about Undertaker not being around when suddenly it hit me.. WWE can rectify it's problem in a small way.. Since Edge is taking on Kane a the next PPV there is no way Edge can lose as his first match, as that would ruin his push before it hardly starts therefore we can have him beat Kane at Backlash.. perhaps Percy Pringle AKA Paul Bearer could come to ringside and distract Kane?! Something along those lines, but with Kane losing, he could then show up on Smackdown very pissed off and attack Bearer or confront Taker on mic saying he only lost because Taker made him so angry he couldn't concentrate etc.. this could lead to something else but at least have Kane and Taker on the same show and things could evolve from their - ie: one last hell in a cell match or something between the two - or anything else WWE can think up..

What I really would like to do is have another person write up a storyline for the following acts of the two.. perhaps with even a different thought on who would win at Backlash or if Kane is to change shows at all.. but this all depends on interest and other things.. perhaps if I start writing columns for the main site this could be something I could look at.. time will tell!!!

What I was trying to go with in this thread was that there could be an ending EVENTUALLY to the Kane/Taker storyline and continuation of it - without it being left up in the air as it has been thus far.. also Edge gets a big win over a 'monster' and could move on to more things.. just a though..

Ok i think that too many people are thinking that Kane's only possible fued can be with Taker. What I would do is have Kane tell Bischoff he's tired of being used to punish people. He then chokeslams Bisch. Next week/ later in the show Bisch asks Evolution for help. They say they'll help him but at a cost. Not sure what the cost is. Maybe when they're done with Kane, Trips gets a title shot or something. So anyway that sets up a fued with Trips. Edge could get involved in a Jericho vs Christian and Lance Storm fued that I posted in another thread. This is basically to kill time until the Kane/Trips fued is over.

If you wanted to go the Undertaker route then you could go with what James said. I think that this fued should probably be saved until about Royal Rumble so it can be built up for Wrestlemania where Kane beats Taker to retire him. Taker should beat Kane up which enrages him in the early part of the match. He absolutely tears the Undertaker in half which establishes Kane as a strong competitor. He can then challenge for the title.

I agree with Carlito on a certain level. Yes, it is annoying how everyone thinks that Kane should only fued with the Undertaker. But we never even got a fued out of it, we got a match, an average 6 or 7 minute match. Kane buried the Undertaker, so what did he do? Came back, beat him in a normal match, and that's it. We didn't see a fued or anything. So carlito even though I agree with you, and also understand where everyone is coming from.

Yo supes I'm not Carlito. I stole his pic though. He did have this before I did. I liked it so here we are. But yeah this fued does need to be finished off but it doesn't need to be finnished yet.

I have said this before and I will say it again. Kane needs to move to Smackdown and become that shows top heel. Look, on Raw, he will never amount to nothing. Guys like Edge, Jericho, Benoit and Orton will all win the belt before Kane does. I know Chris is the current champ and Orton is probably two years away from being champ, but even with that my point is Kane will never see the title while on Raw. Smackdown presents him with the opportunity to be the main heel and for him to be the WWE champ. That is where he needs to be.

The Taker/Kane feud has been done to death. Kane does not need to be the one who retires Taker. I'm with you guys in that I don't understand why people seem to feel the Kane/Taker feud is all these two can do. The only reason the match at WM20 had any value to it was because of the return of the "darkside" Undertaker. Other than that, the match itself was okay. Heck, we all knew Taker would win.

Kane is a great talent, and is one of those guys who just has not had the chance to shine. Stories like Katie Vick kill careers, and it almost killed Kane's. He is wasted on Raw, but could be big on Smackdown. Please, WWE, give the guy a chance.
