WWE Smackdown scores extremely low rating

The Fast National Data (which is much more accurate than the metered market overnights and seems to be within fractions of the final rating) revealed that last night's SmackDown! scored a mere 2.9 rating.

While this is very bad, it's nothing to get too upset about. The Apprentice was one of the only shows to perform in its usual ballpark, as many shows were in re-runs, which means that overall TV viewing is down. SmackDown! got a five share, which is around the share it usually earns, meaning that while they didn't encourage extra viewers to tune into the show, they didn't lose a significant portion of their overall viewership.

The show did hours of 2.7 and 3.1.

Well this goes to show which show is the Flagship program for WWE!

My area had a MLB Game (Baltimore) on so that's one reason for the LOOOW rating

Since the MLB Season has started Smackdown might be pre-empted in alot of places. But I never do watch it anyway. It just isn't as exciting as Raw.

Another thing that could possibly effect it, is that alot of places weren't open friday so alot of people who would have been in watching were out. It's basically the reason why good shows are rarely on Fridays.

This aint a flame or anything but....why the hell are you in the Smackdown section then? If you dont watch it, dont comment about it. There are some smackdown fans here. MAybe some of us like seeing young talent getting pushed better than some guy married to the boss' daughter get all the spotlight

Ok man, I ain't going to start an argument with you. But Raw is not all about HHH. I don't know why you had to make a comment about that. And second, talent gets pushed on Raw. You ever heard of Shelton Bejamin, Randy Orton? Them names ring a bell? What you posted seems like a flame to me.

Exactly why is your name Wordlife(stolen) with John Cena(Smackdown) as your ava/sig and why are you posting in the Smackdown section when you "supposedly" dont watch it because its boring? That was just like the dumbest comment i ever read.

If you watch it sometimes, then say that! Dont say you dont watch it at all.

Yeah ok man, that was kind of a bad post. My mistake, guess I didn't read over it. I watch it sometimes. Mainly just the parts with Cena on them.
