I know that noone cares about TE5, but I figured I might as well post the 8 finalists. Here they are:

source WWE.com

JOHN MEYER

John Meyer owns his own advertising business. A former high school and college basketball player, John was in the Navy from 1991 to 1993. He is very personable and claims to command his own destiny. John is easily noticeable by the large tattoo that covers his back, which reads MEYER.

NICK MITCHELL

For work, Nick Mitchell sells gym memberships. This former Northwestern State football player also played in the Arena Football League. The 250 pounder describes himself as very outgoing and claims to have numerous fans all over the United States. Mitchell admits to also going by the nicknames of “Cadillac” and “Big Booty Bandit.”

MIKE MIZANIN
From: Parma, OH
Height: 6 foot 1
Weight: 210 pounds

Mike Mizanin is a reality show veteran. He has already appeared on five MTV shows. He was originally in Real World: Return to New York and is currently on the popular Road Rules vs. Real World: Battle of the Sexes II, also on MTV. In addition to all this, Mike is also on a speaking tour at numerous colleges all over the United States. Mike has created “The Miz,” a wrestling-like character which he unleashed as an angry, yet entertaining alter-ego on the Real World: Return to New York.

CHRIS NAWROCKI
From: Syosset, NY
Height: 6 foot 4
Weight: 260 pounds

Chris Nawrocki works as a risk management consultant. He played four sports (football, volleyball, basketball and baseball) while in high school. He also played football in college (for Syracuse) for a year. One of Chris' hidden talents is the ability to make up songs on the spot with his guitar.

DANIEL RODIMER
From: Tarpon Springs, FL
Height: 6 foot 7
Weight: 300 pounds

Daniel Rodimer works as a personal trainer. He also plays semi-pro football for the Tamp Bay Barracudas. Prior to that, he played for the Arena Football League and at the University of Southern Florida. Daniel admits that he uses the fact that he looks like Jeremy Shockey from the New York Giants to get into certain places.

JUSTICE SMITH
From: Torrance, CA
Height: 6 foot 9
Weight: 285 pounds

Justice works as a model/actor. He starred in Battle Dome on UPN as Snake. Justice also played basketball (forward and center) for the University of Tennessee for two years before transferring to Alcorn State. This former high school basketball All-American was ranked 30th in the nation by USA Today. He is also a second degree black belt in Taikwando.

Personally, I hope The Miz (Mike Mizanin) wins. Granted I am biased because I watch The Real World & Road Rules along with the many challenges they have spawned. I guess I'll have to wait and see what the other guys are like. But if I had to guess, I would say that I'd be voting for The Miz every week.

GO MIZ!

Well it looks like we get to see Vince pick some big guys to get a break in the WWE. Yay. Talent is for losers!!!!. ****! I wanted that MIZ guy to win simply because he has minimal size he must rely on his talent but now I learn he's probably only there because he was on TV before.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if The Miz's TV experience swayed the trainers into picking him. But Mike seems like a cool guy on TV, he seems like he can be very intense when needed. From watching him on TV, he seems like he really wants to be a wrestler (well, he actually is a wrestler, just not very well known). Of course that could just be good editting on the part of MTV.

BTW, check out mikethemiz.com. It's the Official Website of The Miz. Go on, embrace your inner Mizfit!

It says thursdays at 8pm on UPN. Ugh. Does this mean that they're going to air clips and things during Smackdown like they did for the Diva Search?? WTF, I used to LOVE watching TE, I don't want to watch clips every week. I want to watch a reality show for wrestling.

I lost interest in Tough Enough, one or two years ago. And the fact that this is going to be airing every week on SmackDown makes my blood boil. SmackDown was coming out of its hole, although there were other problems and details to be ironed out. One of those problems was people like Billy Kidman, for instance, need more backstage/promo airtime to truly connect and solidify his heel turn. And now some of that time for he and other rising stars will be cut thanks to this TE crap.

It'd be wise if the WWE brought in their talent by of way OVW, like they've always done instead of sucky reality shows that influence people to sign up just to be on TV and get a million bucks.

I HATE, with all my heat and soul, the people that sit around Vince McMahon and let these crappy decisions slide on by. Kiss asses.

I agree that they should just bring up talent from OVW. I also agree that they shouldn't be taking time away from Smackdown!. Seeing as how MTV dropped the show a couple years back, maybe that's why it isn't on SpikeTV (since Viacom owns MTV and SpikeTV, along with the rest of the TV world that isn't owned by AOL Time Warner), because you know that if TE5 was going to have its own timeslot, it would be on SpikeTV.

I think one of the purposes (or at least intended purposes) of Tough Enough is to allow the WWE to find young aspiring wrestlers that for one reason or another (usually lack of talent), the WWE has never heard of.

Ugh, dont remind me of the Battle Dome. What a god awful show that was. And what a god awful Batlle Dome dude was that Snake guy. He was some kind of redneck biker if memroy serves me right. SHOCKING stuff. He better not win. *Shudders at the thought of Battle Dome*

TE, do I care? No, not at all really. Oh hey look there goes PK changing the chanel. And hey look there goes PK leaving the thread because he doesnt give a crap about TE to waste much time on it. Bye!

What was Battle Dome anyway? Was it on in the US?

Peoples King

Yeah it was a US show. Dont know by which network. Basically you had three contestants and they were doing various different things to get to the final two. But to do whatever the hell it was they had to do they had to get past the Battle Dome Wrestlers. They had a point system for the wrestlers as well as some of the worst backstage storylines in the history of TV. There was a dude that was the bop off of Lex Luger and then there was Snake who always reminded me of a retarded Undertaker when he was a biker. Shocking show.

Oh god and the color commentator. Jesus Christ what was wrong with his voice?

What ever happened to Big John Studd's Son? Has he been cut from the show or something?

Mr. Long

I guess he wasn't "Tough Enough."

I'm sorry, that was really lame.

Well all I hope is that that one guy who broke his arm (something like that) makes it to the WWE, because he showed so much determination and will-power to go through the whole course, hopefully he'll be in the WWE once he recovers.

So we love the guys that got cut, but what about the guys that made it? I missed Smcakdown!, so I didn't see TE. What was your impression of the 8 finalists (more specifically, The Miz)?
