**SPOILERS** WWE SmackDown! Tapings
Posted By: Kalen Bridge on October 18, 2004

SmackDown Tapings:

-Smackdown opens with Torrie Wilson introducing WWE United States champion Carlito Caribbean Cool. Cool tries to hit on Wilson and when she blows him off, he spits apple in her face.

-WWE United States champion Carlito Caribbean Cool pinned Rico.

-Backstage, Teddy Long met up with Booker T. Booker told him he was no longer interested in any tag team matches, but Long convinced him to team with Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam against Kenzo Suzuki, Rene Dupree and John Bradshaw Layfield later tonight.

-They did a video package on Billy Kidman’s Shooting Star Press.

-Chavo Guerrero returned as a babyface, thanking everyone for their support while he was hurt. Kidman came out and told Guerrero that it was just an accident, bringing up their history in WCW. Guerrero said that his family was worried about him returning to the ring and his kids told him they were scared he was going to hurt his brain. Kidman blamed the fans, saying that they were animals. It ended up with the two of them getting into it and Guerrero clotheslining Kidman out of the ring.

-In the back, Paul Heyman is informed that Heidenreich has to be brought to the ring in a straightjacket for now on because of his recent actions.

-Heidenreich defeats Shannon Moore. They put the straightjacket back on him after the match, but Heidenreich tells Paul Heyman that he demands Heyman give him the Undertaker and let him face Taker. Undertaker comes out, leading to....

-Undertaker defeated Heidenreich with a tombstone. Heyman is chokeslammed as well.

-Backstage, Torrie Wilson is upset and telling the makeup lady that she can't believe what Carlito Caribbean Cool did to her. Teddy Long apologizes and says he's going to talk to Cool.

-Long finds Cool and questions him as to whether he was in the nightclub when John Cena was attacked. Cool says that he told the police he doesn't hang with thugs. Long says he's heard differently. Cool says he's not saying anything else until he speaks to his lawyer.

-Backstage, Booker T is warming up when Orlando Jordan says John Bradshaw Layfield would like to speak to him before the match.

-Mark Jindrak pinned Eddie Guerrero. Guerrero went for the frog splash when Luther Reigns tried to get involved. Guerrero hit him. Kurt Angle ran to the ring and slid the ring bell to Jindrak, who put it on his chest. When Guerrero hit the splash, he knocked himself out on the bell and was pinned. Guerrero left under his own power.

-Backstage, Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam are talking when Booker T asks them to stay out of his way. He walks off. Van Dam and Rey agree to watch each other's backs.

-John Bradshaw Layfield and Orlando Jordan meet with Booker T. Booker insults Layfield, saying that he used to be from Texas and now he's from New York. He calls Jordan a houseboy.

-Rob Van Dam & Rey Mysterio & Booker T defeated WWE champion John Bradshaw Layfield & WWE Tag Team champions Rene Dupree & Kenzo Suzuki. Van Dam and Rey wouldn't tag in Booker since they didn't trust him. It ended up with RVD out on the floor and Rey being forced to tag Booker. Booker acts like a heel then turns on JBL, clearing house and winning with the Ax Kick on JBL.

The reason they had to make Smackdown tapings early was because of Taboo Tuesday.

Woohoo, Booker is a face. That was a pretty quick character change. When he was on RAW he was a face, came to Smackdown and turned heel, then becomes face again. Him and JBL could have a pretty good feud. And hopefully Booker can get the title because he deserves it the most out of everyone IMO. Ever since after his lost to HHH hes been a tag team jobber or IC/US contender. I hope that changes now.

Firstly, next time please place "**SPOILER**" in the thread title. TITLE CHANGED. Consider this a verbal warning. If you have forgotten, just check the rules out :goodjob: .

Secondly, SmackDown! this week looks quite good. Booker as a face seems strange as he didn't last long as a heel. I hope he doesn't get stale as a face anytime soon. Anyway, great post Olympic Champ and looks to be an interesting SmackDown!.

Noodle: Secondly, why are the Tapings earlier than usual?

Are you serious? Can you not read? He actually says it below the results.. and also it has been on the WP.com newsline.. Taboo Tuesday is on when the Smackdown! tapings are usually made so they did them on Thurs in USA a bit less then a week early..

Ooops. Didn't read that. Sorry Kalen, no need to pull a tantrum and throw a sarcastic remark.

I don't think tantrums are often made by people my age but okay. I apologise if I offended you, I did not intend any malice I simple thought it was made clear..

Anyway - to keep on topic.. it seems Smackdown! this week just plays it safe and rolls out a smooth slow, but nothing seems captivating enough to make you want to tune in after reading the **Spoilers**.

Yeah, Booker T is going to win the title. I know that may seem a bit out there, but i really hope he does. Takerseems to be out of the title picture, becasue he's too busy giving Heiden****e tombstones every week. This leaves the way open for booker to step up and claim the title. He could then lose it to Kurt, who could lose it to Taker at Mania, before Taker retires around Summerslam next year after his final title run.

Damn that sounds good - Taker would keep the winning streak at WrestleMania, being the only man to win so many matches at WM.. the only thing I would change would be his final match/appearance - I would have it at Survivor Series - he could leave at the very PPV he arrived at.

If only the WWE Creative Team would visit the WP forums and do just as described..

And if people are looking for Rumours, not Spoilers and they accidentally clicked on it for not knowing that SmackDown! was recorded? It's a long shot but it's the rules, sorry OC.

just finished watching Smackdown. Great show. 8/10

anyone else think Wrestling is getting better by the show? Months ago it sucked...at least the storyline and booking.

Shame Big Show did make an appearance. But the show didnt need him much. The main event was very good. Booker didnt get much time till the end though which i thought wasnt "cool". Speaking of Cool, i think i like this guy now!(not gay way) His gimmick is getting through to me. Cant wait for Cena to come back and get that necklace back. Not the US title though. Time for Cena to move on to bigger things like his counterpart, Randy Orton.

Again, they cut out the Taker-Heidenbleh part. I guess they just dont want to show viewers that he gets beatings like that just so it wont ruin his "monster" gimmick. I wanna know how things turn out next week when they try to get Takers sig on the contract. Should be interesting...

whats with that "wish John Cena to get well soon" BS. First they give the retarded excuse now that. Just wasting peoples time(the stupid ones that think hes actually injured and that Taker can actually control lightning)

The Tuff Nuff contenders actually look like they can do something. That million dollar sure is motivating i guess. Other Tuff Nuffs winners were pathetic. All of them are no where in the WWE currently. Except John Cena but im not sure if he came from there. Im not sure
