Crowd has been dead since the Regal screw up....

There are Foley & Hogan impersonators in the crowd...

Smackdown! rebound is shown, and gets booed! Diva Search recap of Christy and Carmella aired....and it was announced that PPV polls open next week at 10PM EST.

Main event is next...

Hmmm...I am assuming that they mean Chris Benoit where it says Jericho twice at the end there...

Sounds like a good show though, I can't wait to see it!

I actually liked the show tonight and im really glad the UK finally got a Raw show, I do think it sucks that Regal and Eugene did not get the titles though, La Resistance has had them long enough.

I saw the show. And I have a few thoughts.

1. UK crowds rule! They add a whole new dimension to the matches.

2. Never, ever, EVER, give Gene Snicksky (sp) mic time ever again. That was the worst promo since...well, since....that was the worst promo I've ever heard. That boy's got the mush-mouth.

3. The Ric Flair-Orton promo was great. Great on the part of Ric Flair. Just ok on the part of Orton, but he's young. He'll get better.

4. I hope that after Kane takes apart Gene whatever-his-name-is, that he goes back to the monster that he once was. It's fun to watch.

3. I hope in a little while I don't have to see HBK, Edge, and Benoit taking on Evolution anymore. That match didn't interest me in the least.

Women's Champion Trish Stratus defeats Stacy Keibler
Well, i am glad that Stacey is actually wrestling now. She has obviously been training lately, as her skills have improved. But I think that it is to early for her to win the title. She still needs to train/practise more. The match itself was quite good and got the crowd involved. Of course being in England, all the Divas are going to come out. It is a special occassion so they will show the fans what they want. The ending was OK.

World Tag Team Champions La Resistance def. Eugene & William Regal
Was disappointed with this match. It had a lot of crowd involvement. And it was the right time for La Resistance to lose the titles. I thought that it ended perfectly, and that the match should not have been restarted. Regal was performing well and the crowd loved it. Once the match was restarted everyone was almost certain that La Resistance would retain the titles. The quality of the wrestling was not amazing but just average.

Rhyno vs. Chris Jericho (No Contest)
I was looking forward to this match a lot. I see Rhyno as quite a good wrestler and it would have been a very entertaining match. I don't think that it would have been the right decision for it to become a Tag match. After they had this whole Rhyno/Jericho thing going, it was destroyed. They would have feuded well, but no, instead they made them teams. Up until the interference it was quite good.

Chris Jericho & Rhyno def. Christian & Tyson Tomko
Well, this match was not bad, but nothing special. Tomko, STILL a bit sloppy. I didn't really pay much close attention to it, as I didn't really enjoy it. They seem to have ruined two good things going, Rhyno/Jericho and Christian/Michaels. I don't care if Tomko has nothing to do. Hopefulley these feuds can continue after Taboo Tuesday. This match, wrestling wise, was nothing special. Tomko, in my opinion, brought this matches quality down.

Val Venis & Steven Richards vs. The Hurricane & Rosey (Never officially started)
Come on. Did you honestly think that Val Venis and Richards would be shown on RAW? Pfft, not a chance. I knew after watching the promo by Snitzky, that something had to be done with Kane on RAW. He can't come to England and just do nothing. Although I was looking forward to seeing something happen with Venis and Richards wrestling wise, it never came. The beating was good. And they established the idea of the "Choose your own weapon match" well. 12 times to the back, with a steel chair. That, I think, is a record for most chair shots in a short amount of time. A little disappointing, but recovered well.

Shawn Michaels, Edge & Chris Benoit def. Evolution
Not a bad match. Flair didn't pull it down at all. I absolutely loved the ending. I don't think it could have been done any better. The WWE seem to be developing Edge's character well. He is proving that he is worthy. Then once Bischoff announced the Triple Threat match, I was very pleased. 3 great wrestlers going at it. Let's hope that it lives up to the hype. I think Evolution was shoved out of the picture well this week and hopefully next week as well. If know interferences are made next week during the match, then it will be a great ending to the whole Edge/Benoit/Michaels angle. Evolution out of the picture ... for now.

Overall, RAW this week was a little below average. Not the best it has provided, but definitely worth watching. Could of been a little better, seeing as it was the first ever in England. Anyway, hopefully next week will pick RAW up.
