live from Sakota, Washington

Before the show begins highlights are shown of last weeks PPV quality Smackdown!. The main bulk of the footage focuses on the JBL/Chavo US title match, Angle/Cean match and the WWE title match between Booker T and the Undertaker. The footage ends with a shot of Booker T escaping up the ramp with his WWE title clutched to his chest.

The music video rolls and the pyro erupts. Michael Cole and Tazz welcome us to WWE Smackdown!. Cole says that Theodore R Long is back tonight and that the Smackdown! GM has got a thing or two to say to Eric Bischoff. The new US Champion JBL is here as well as the WWE Champion Booker T. In tonights main event the Dudleys will defend their WWE Tag Team titles against the FBI. This is going to be an unbelievable night and it is all going to start right now........

Teddy Longs music hits and Sakota comes to its feet for the General Manager of Smackdown!. Theodore looks to be a little sore still but he comes down to the ring regardless. Teddy steps between the ropes and takes a mic. His music cuts and Teddy is ready to address the people. Theodore R Long is delighted to be back in front of all the beautiful people. Two weeks ago Teddy was the victem of a henious act of hate. He went on to WWE Raw, thinking that all the problem between him and Eric Bischoff were over. Seems they werent as Eric and his stooges attacked Teddy and then two of his friends, two men he thought were his friends put Teddy through a table. Never before has Teddy seen so many crackers drinking hatorade. But tonight Teddy Long is back on Smackdown! and tonight Teddy Long has something to say to Eric Bischoff. For a long time Eric has said that his show was the greatest on television. For a long time Bisch has put Smackdown! down and all the fine men and women that work on Smackdown!. But two weeks ago it all came to a head when Eric decided to mug Teddy. Well Teddy would like Eric Bischoff to try and put his money where is big **** talking mouth is. If Eric Bischoff is indeed the best GM and his show is indeed the better show then why doesnt Eric prove that. Instead of beating up on Teddy Long how about Eric try to beat up on any man in the Smackdown! locker-room. Tonight Theodore R Long is laying a challenge out to Eric Bischoff. He wants Bisch to prove why Raw is suposedly superior to Smackdown!. Teddy says that Eric can do this anyway he wants, in the boardroom, on the streets or in the ring. Its up to Eric Bischoff but Teddy wants him to know that the time for talking trash is over. It is now time for action and it is now time for the people to know which show is superior. Teddy says that he has taken up enough of these peoples time, so now he wants the show to get rolling.

The stock bell tolls and the crowd become a little sick. The limo pulls up and JBL has his body poked out through the sun roof. He holds the US title up for all to see and the crowd level heat at him, JBL smiles his politicans smile. The driver gets out and opens the side door as JBL disappears back inside. Heidenreich gets out first followed by his boss, JBL. Bradshaw smiles at the crowd and once again holds the United States title aloft. He walks down to the ring with Heidenreich taking the lead. The two men step into the ring and JBL holds his newly won title up once again. Heidenreich grabs a mic and tells the crowd to show their appreciation for their US champion, John Bradshaw Layfield! The crowds heat intensifies and Heidenreich hands the mic over to his boss. JBL places the title on his shoulder and looks out across the masses. Last week was the proudest day in the history of America. On Smackdown! JBL fought a fraud, a man that represented everything that is wrong with the United States. This man held the US title and in doing so tainted everything that JBL loves about this country. But JBL went out last week as a real American, as a man that is red white and blue all the way. JBL won the United States championship last week for America and he tells the crowd that they are welcome. The heat intensifies but JBL smiles as though it were a pop. As your US champion, JBL will be strong, JBL will be true and best of all JBL will be 100% American. He is a picture of success and now he is a picture of greatness as the United States champion. Whatever may come, JBL will face it and beat it down. He says this is our time, this is a time for America to shine and to rise in gratitude to JBL. The crowd start to chant '*******' but JBL doesnt seem to hear it. JBL says that he wants to talk about Chavo Gurrero. He says that Chavo was a disgrace. Chavo brought all his dirty blood down on this title and nearly made it unsaveable. But thanks to God and JBL, the US title has got its glory back and wont be tainted as it was by Chavo Gurrero. JBL says that last week himself and Heidenreich made a point, they made a statement to all of the USAs enemies when they took out Chavo Gurrero. JBL says that Chavo isnt here tonight and Chavo wont be on Smackdown! for a long time to come. JBL says he knows how grateful the fans are and they should be grateful. 'Viva La Raza' and JBLs face drops as Eddie Gurrero comes walking out toward the ring. The crowd go wild and Eddie just keeps walking toward the ring. Paul Heyman is pacing back and forth. Matt Morgan and Rene Dupree are seated behind Heyman, with Miss Jackie standing by Dupree. Heyman says that he doesnt know what to think. They went out first on Smacdown! and came away with nothing. He is very disappointed. Dupree says that neither of them were pinned, it was Christopher that lost it for them. Heyman says that doesnt matter. Mick Foley was all over Rene out there and what could Matt do? Nothing. He went out and got driven into the ground with a Double Arm DDT. Heyman says that they are the laughing stock of Smackdown! now. He sents Matt after Haas to put him out of commision but judging from todays peformance that isnt going to happen. As far as Paul can see the Dudleys are the only winners on this team. He asks what Dupree and Morgan plan to do about that. They stay silent. Heyman is going to tell them what to do. He wants them to make an impact tonight. He doesnt want the fans last memory of tonight being a loss for Morgan and Dupree. No, they have to go out and make a memory. Paul Heyman wont be happy until they leave someone battered and broken in a pool of their own blood. He asks if he made himself clear. Dupree and Morgan say yes. Heyman tells them to go make the world fear them.

'Viva La Raza' and the crowd come to their feet for the second coming of Eddie Gurrero. Eddie doesnt have his low rider and doesnt seem to be in much of a mood to play to the crowd. He walks down to the ring and slides in. Eddie is handed a mic and an 'Eddie' chant starts up. Gurrero looks to be in another world as he prepares to speak. Eddie isnt out here to call out JBL. There is plenty of time to do that. The man Eddie wants to call out is the GM of Smackdown! Teddy Long. Eddie wants Teddy to get his ass out to the ring right now because Latino Heat has a thing or two to say to him. After a little waiting Teddys music hits and the crowd give a pop for the GM. Long looks unsure of himself as he steps out into the arena. He stares down at the ring for sometime before making his way down towards it. Teddy gets into the ring catiously but keeps his distance from Eddie who is staring a hole right through the GM. The two men have a little stand off until Gurrero raises the mic to speak. Eddie brought Teddy out here because he wants to know something. Earlier tonight Eddie was giving JBL a little taste of his own medicene. Eddie was getting even and he had that piece of crap on the ground crying in pain. But then what happened? Teddy Long came out with security and pulled Eddie off of JBL. Now Eddie wants a little explanation. He wants to know why Teddy would protect a scumbag like JBL. Long looks at Eddie for a bit before raising his mic. Teddy says he had know other choice. Eddie was beating down on his US champion and it looked like Eddie was about to put JBL out of commision. Teddy couldnt let that happen and so he had to intervene. This doesnt seem to appease Gurrero, anger growing on his face. Eddie repeats what Long said about protecting JBL. What Eddie wants to know is why Smackdown! management protects JBL but doesnt protect superstars like Chavo. Last week Eddie had to watch from his hotel. He had to watch JBL and Heidenreich beat Chavo to near death. Eddies nephew is between conciousness, Eddie hasnt been able to speak to Chavito after last weeks assault. It makes Eddie sick to hear Teddy Long talking about protecting people when Teddy didnt see it fit to help Chavito. Teddy reminds Eddie that he wasnt at Smackdown! last Thursday. Eddie is well aware of that but he says Teddys punta, Dawn Marie was there. She was representing Long, she was appointed by Long. And what did she do? Nothing except help JBL ban Eddie from the arena. Eddie blames Smackdown! for what happened to his nephew and so he blames Theodore Long as well. Teddy asks if Eddie ever thought of blaming himself. It was because of Eddies reputation that he got banned from ringside. Eddie gave JBL that chance and JBL took it. If Eddie wasnt the lieing, cheating and stealing son of a bitch that he is then maybe he could have been there to protect Chavo. But he wasnt. So Teddy says before Eddie starts putting his hate on Teddy Long, maybe he should have a look at himself. Eddie is shaking with anger but finally a grin comes across his face. He asks Teddy if he knows something, "holmes?" Eddie says there is nothing he would love more then to beat Teddy Long into the mat here tonight. The Latino Heat inside of Eddie is burning but he is going to control it. He isnt going to whip Teddys ass. No, Eddie is going to use the Latino Heat he has for Teddy and he is going to unleash all of it on JBL. Eddie already despises JBL, Eddie already wants to end JBLs career but now things have gotten that bit worse. Now Eddie is burning inside and he is going to get Bradshaw offically or unoffically. And when Eddie gets his hands on JBL, he isnt just going to beat him. No, Eddie is going to kill JBL. When Eddie does, Teddy Long is going to wish he never pulled Latino Heat off of JBL tonight. 'Viva La Raza' hits again and Eddie knocks past Teddy on his way out from the ring. Gurrero heads up the ramp but Teddy tells the production crew to cut of Eddies music. Teddy feels the hate that Eddie has for JBL. Matter of fact, Teddy understands it but Teddy is always going to have to try and protect his investment. But Teddy will give Eddie this. Tonight Eddie Gurrero will fight Heidenreich one on one and if Eddie wins, then he can have his match up with JBL at No Mercy. 'Viva La Raza' hits once again and Eddie turns to leave.

Booker T arrives at the arena to alot of heat from the crowd. He walks down the corridor with the WWE title perched on his shoulder. Backstage staff and other wrestlers stop to watch Booker T go by. Book spots Teddy headed back to his office and tells him to hold up. Long looks a little shaken after the Eddie Gurrero incident. Booker T asks how Teddy is feeling after last weeks Raw. Teddy feels like a million bucks but what Teddy really wants to know is how Booker T is feeling. Book tells Teddy that he would like to talk to him about the Undertaker. Teddy tells him not to worry because he has taken care of that situation. Booker T looks relieved and thanks Teddy. Long says there is no need to thank him. He trusts that Booker T can prepare properly for his title rematch. Books face drops. Rematch? Thats right. Teddy Long has just signed the papers for the Undertaker versus Booker T at No Mercy for the WWE championship. Teddy closes the door of his office on the shocked face of Booker T. Josh Matthews is with the Picture of Perfection himself, Mark Jindrak. Josh whats to know if anyone has answered Marks 'Perfect Challenge.' Jindrak looks at Josh for a second and says that if someone had answered it he wouldnt be talking to Josh right now. As Mark Jindrak predicted no one has stepped up to the plate and answered the challenge. He has been waiting all week for word of a challenger but not one superstar felt up to the task and Mark cant blame them. Who in their right mind would want to except a challenge from Mark Jindrak. There isnt a superstar in the locker-room that can hang with him. No one has his speed, athletic ability, skill or his durability. He has looked up, he has looked down and Mark Jindrak hasnt found a challenger. There isnt a superstar in the back that wants to go into a PPV match knowing that they are going to lose. Josh asks Mark if he is getting ahead of himself. After all, he has yet to make a Smackdown! PPV appearence, nevermind been in a singles match on any Pay Per View. Mark asks if Josh doubts him. Because for a long time Mark Jindrak doubted himself, he didnt think he was up to the task of taking on any superstar on the roster. It wasnt until Theodore Long showed Mark Jindrak the light, did Mark start getting confidence. It was then that he realised there was no one better then him. Billy Gunn learnt that and anyone with half a brain should know that. Jindrak doesnt care if its Eddie Gurrero, RVD or the Undertaker. Whoever meets Mark Jindrak is going to get a perfect beating. Jindrak heads off and Josh watches him go.

"Can You Dig It? Suckaaaaa!" Booker T steps through the curtain and looks at his hand before hitting his pyro in trademark fashion. Book heads for the ring, the WWE title on his shoulder. He gets in and holds the title up for all to see before taking a mic from Chimel. A 'Booker Sucks' chant starts up and Book shakes his head. He tells the people to shut up and listen to the WWE champion. Ah yes, this increases the heat on Booker T. Last week Booker T was forced to take on the Undertaker. Book knew that the Undertaker didnt deserve to be in the ring with him and so Booker T got himself DQed. He didnt see the sense in ever giving the Undertaker a minimal chance of taking his WWE title away from him. Even at that, Booker T spent that entire match wiping the mat with the Deadman. He had the Undertaker on the ropes so many times that the referee should have just called for the bell. After last week, Book has heard from alot of suckas that he is scared of the Undertaker. Booker T aint scared of nuthin or nobody. He doesnt care if its the Undertaker, the Terminator or the T-Rex. Whoever comes knocking, is going to get the same answer. Book End and nice to meet ya. So Booker T came to Smackdown! expecting to hear that the Undertaker would no longer be challenging for his title because the Undertaker isnt worthy of it. That wasnt what the Book Man heard. Instead he came into this arena and heard Teddy Long say that at No Mercy the Undertaker would be having a title rematch. Booker T thinks this is a joke. The Undertaker isnt up to his level, the Undertaker shouldnt even be considered for a title shot. Booker T has beaten everyone there is to beat and in every kind of a match up. That is why Booker T shouldnt have to step in the ring with the Undertaker. Booker T should be deciding who he faces, after all he is the greatest WWE Champion of all time bar none. The Undertakers bell tolls and the crowd let out a roar. The bell tolls again and the fear grows on Booker Ts face. The lights go out and the music hits after the fourth tolling of the bell. The fog rolls out and the Undertaker appears to a massive pop. The Deadman walks slowly toward the ring. Book looks around frantically not knowing what to do or where to go. The Phenom climbs the steps and stares in at Booker. He brings the lights up and the fear is clearly visable on the face of Booker T. The Deadmans eyes roll back in his skull and he steps into the ring. He goes toe to toe with Booker T, staring down at his No Mercy opponent. The Undertaker reaches out and takes the WWE title from off of Booker Ts shoulder before placing it on his. Book looks down at his shoulder and then at his title on the shoulder of the Undertaker. Book blasts the Deadman with a right hand and the Undertaker responds. The crowd erupt as the two men start to trade rights, the WWE title after falling to the canvas. They go punch for punch but the Undertaker starts to come out on top. Knee to the gut by Booker T and he runs off the ropes. Caught in a goozle by the Deadman. Chokeslam to Booker T! The crowd start to chant 'Taker' as he rolls his eyes back into his head. The Deadman reaches down and picks the WWE title from off the canvas. He looks at it for a second before dropping it down on the prone Booker T. Undertaker turns and leaves the ring. Booker T props himself up on his elbow, a little dazed after the Chokeslam. He stares out at the Undertaker as he disappears through the curtain.

Dupree lets Foley fall, he grabs a mic that was standing by. He tells Foley that no one messes with Team Heyman and gets away with it. He wants the rest of the locker-room to take a look at Foley and learn from his mistake. Mess with Team Heyman and you will pay for it. Dupree and Morgan raise their arms above their heads before making their exit. Two referees help Mick to his feet and lead him toward the back.

'One Of A Kind' hits and the crowd come to their feet for Mr Thursday Night Rob Van Dam. RVD comes out and heads for the ring, a purpose in his eyes. He gets into the ring and does the RVD thumb taunt before taking a mic. An 'RVD' chant rings out and Van Dam has to stall before it dies down some bit. Last week RVD came out to this very ring and he addressed the wrestling world. He let everyone know that Rob Van Dam wasnt prepared to just sit back and let other people pass him by. He wanted the world to know that Rob Van Dam was now taking charge of his own destiny. Van Dam set his sights high, he looked straight at the WWE Championshpi and he wasnt ready to apologies to anyone for that. Then as RVD was leaving he was attacked from behind. Van Dam took a bad beating from a man that he knows is nearly twice his size. RVD says that in that instant the people stated to doubt if maybe RVD could do it. The attack from the Big Show as an example of RVDs size working against him. In an instant everything RVD said disappeared, it seemed to be just a lie. Well Van Dam wants the world to know that he wasnt lying when he said he wasnt prepared to take second best. Big Show wants to attack RVD from behind then Van Dam is going to take that and come back at Show face to face. RVD doesnt care if Big Show is 7'2" and 500lbs. He wants him to get his big ass out to the ring. Van Dam isnt here to talk, he is here to fight. 'Weeeeeell, Well its the Big Show!' And here comes the 500lb giant. 'Basic Thuganomics' hits and the crowd leap out of their seats for the arrival of the one true Doctor of Thuganomics, John Cena. Cena plays to the crowd before heading toward the ring. Cena gets in, gives the bull horns and then picks a mic from off of the mat. He looks out at the crowd and nods slowly. Cena asks how Sakota is feeling tonight. He says its good that they are all in high spirits but John Cena isnt as happy or chirpy. Last week Cena went one on one with Kurt Angle. They went back, they went forth and anyone of them looked set to pick up the win. In the end it was Angle that got the victory and Cena is man enough to admit that Kurt Angle made him tap and was the better man last week. The crowd dont like the sound of this. However, if you think John Cena is finished with Kurt Angle then you are a damn fool. As far s John see's it, this thing between him and Kurt Angle isnt finished. He feels there is one last match left for them to fight, one last match that will show the world which man is the better superstar. Cena thinks so and he would like Angle to come out and tell him what he thinks. 'Medal' hits and the quick pop changes to chants of 'You Suck.' Angle comes out on stage dressed in a tracksuit pants and a sleeveless t-shirt. Angle hits his pyro at the top of the stage before heading to the ring. He gets in and goes nose to nose with John Cena. Angle backs up and takes a mic. He looks at Cena for a long time before raising the mic. Kurt Angle is a little confused. For the life of him Angle doesnt know why there is any doubt in Cenas mind over who the better wrestler is. From where he stands it is clearly Kurt Angle. First off Kurt wants to point out to Cena that John has never ever beaten Kurt Angle, not once. On John Cenas debut it was Kurt Angle he came away with the victory. In their first PPV match up at No Mercy it was Kurt Angle that got the victory after he made John Cena tap out. At No Way Out this year in a Number One Contender match up, Angle and Cena faced off along with the Big Show. That night it was Kurt Angle that left once again the victor, after making John Cena tap out. At SummerSlam they were in a Last Man Standing match but Kurt Angle still made John Cena slap the mat in submission. Four weeks ago on Smackdown! they were in an eight man tag match and Kurt made Cena tap the mat one more time. And then of course last week, infront of America, Kurt Angle made John Cena tap out. Is there any doubting that Kurt Angle is a superior wrestler? Everytime Cena and Angle meet, it is Kurt that makes John Cena tap out. As far as Kurt is concerned, John Cena isnt even worth worrying about. So if Cena wants a rematch, he has to earn it because Angle right now is looking at a loser. Cena glares at Angle, Kurt has a ****y look on his face. Both men are taken by suprise when Teddy Longs music hits. The Smackdown! GM comes out with a clipboard in his hand. He gets into the ring and shakes hands with Angle. Cena doesnt bother shaking Teddys hand. Teddy has come out to holla at Kurt Angle. He was in the back listening to Kurt Angle and Kurt was right, everytime Cena and Angle meet it is Kurt that makes John tap out. But Teddy Long is concerned about what happened at No Way Out or at last years No Mercy, Teddy Long is all about right now. At the moment Cena and Angle have drawn once one on one and Kurt has won once, one on one. But Teddy feels things arent quite over, that something is still unsolved. Thats why Teddy has a contract for Kurt Angle versus John Cena at No Mercy. All he wants is for Kurt to sign this contract, to set the match. If Angle doesnt want to do it then the match wont happen. Teddy tells Kurt that it is about time he drove home his point, it is about time he proved without doubt that he is better then John Cena. So what does the playa say? Angle begins to think it over, Cena and Long wait. Angle looks at Teddy and then at Cena. He looks out at the crowd who have just started to chant 'Rematch.' Angle shakes his head and boos start to sound around the arena. He turns to leave but suddenly turns and shoots behind Cena..... Angle Slam! Kurt grabs Teddys mic and says that at No Mercy he is going to prove to the world that Kurt Angle is superior to John Cena. Angle pushes Teddy aside and locks an Angle Lock onto Cena. The Docta screams in agony and starts to tap out. Angle wrenches on the ankle and Cena taps to no avail. Finally Angle lets loose of the hold. He stares at Long, who has a glimmer in his eye. Angle raises his arms in the air as Smackdown! goes off the air.

Oh how I have longed for those PK Story lines and well worded sentences.I dont have enough stuff for a hits and misses so I will just highlight some things.

First off I like the Eddie JBL fued. Even though it has been done in the WWE it is still good to see how you have went around what the did to make this fued good.

Also looks like your Big Show RVD fued is taking off quite well.

Booker T. and Taker. I did this story line a while back and just couldnt seem to find the right stuff for it. Hopefully you can make it work well because it is for sure taking off well also.

I cant wait to see how you play out this John Cena and Kurt Angle fued. These 2 guys are definetly the top two guys on your show. Good Job 7/10
