Hey guys. Well, I figured that I would throw my hat into the creative process that is booking my own wrestling shows. After some encouragement from People's King, I have decided to give it a shot. My plan is to do a Smackdown and Raw show, but I am gonna do it differently. Here are my plans.
The Owner of the company will remain anonymous for a little while, but the company is the WWE. Raw will be lead by Paul Heyman and Smackdown will be lead by Teddy Long. These are the two GM's, but in order to maintain some order and not let the two GM's go powerhungry, each man will draw from a bin a name to be their shows "sheriff" (if you will). Neither man knows who the names in the bin are and the one they draw is the one they get. The first show will consist of a draft, where each GM will get to pick a superstar. On the first show, the first five picks will be revealed. Then afterwards, the remaining superstars will be picked (off-air). Then, for the next show (Smackdown), each GM can propose trades. They are only allowed to do this during the Smackdown show. After that, the rosters will be frozen by the owner of the WWE. The superstars available are not only WWE superstars, but any superstar who is currently active in wrestling. That means guys like Jerry Lynn, Jeff Jarrett, and Raven are all fair game to be picked. Their are some guys on the current WWE roster that I don't care for so I am going to use whoever I feel like using. Any suggestions as to who you guys think should be added are welcomed and appreciated.
So, with all this in mind, I want to get you guys' thoughts. Am I wasting my time by doing this? Would you guys like another fed to read, or are their too many? Please, feedback is appreciated, and depending on how you guys respond will determine if I go through with it.
