1. Buried Alive Intro - Nothing special really, just a standard opening saying he's been buried alive, and he's here.
2. Quasi O.G. - Bob Marley's "No More Trouble" is a sample in this sound, and the beat pretty much matches what the whole song is about. It's what he's been through and trying to get away from it all. Hot starter and great lyrics.
3. More Or Less - Kanye West produced this beat, and it is being used as the single to this album. It's a great song, my third favorite on the album, and Foxy Brown appears on this song to add "More or Less" to the chorus, although she seems a little to 'hard' then she should sound.
4. Behind The Walls (East Coast Gangsta Mix) - Trash. I don't like this song featuring Nate Dogg and Kurupt, and it shouldn't have made the album. It probably wouldn't have if Shyne was out and able to make new material.
5. Shyne - I like the beat to this, and the chorus works very well with the song. Swizz Beatz on the production, and it's what you would expect from him.
6. For The Record - Alright, the beat is SICK for this song, and totally takes the mood of the song and the lyrics itself. This is a diss track against 50 Cent for trying to sign him while dissing him on some songs. So Shyne responds, and I doubt 50 Cent will want to respond back. My fourth favorite track on the album, and that doesn't mean it's 4th best, because it's a hot track.
7. Martyr - This sounds like a Nas beat, and he spits fire on this track, contemplating if death would be better then living. Very meaningful, and a hot track.
8. Jimmy Choo - Featuring Ashanti, this track is poised to be a popular R & B collaboration track. It's too bad the video would contain past videos of Shyne, considering he's in jail; However, I heard that part of the video has already been shot, and they may have done it under everyone without anyone knowing.
9. Godfather - A somewhat-angry beat with a violin being played in the background while Shyne has a pretty good verse, but nothing too special in this song. I still really like it though.
10. The Gang - Second hottest beat on the entire album, my favorite track on the album and Foxy Brown shines on this track, too. Great collaboration, and if this doesn't get bigger then just another track on this album, something is wrong. He's got plenty of hot singles to put out and this is definitely one of them. This out-shines "More or Less", and Foxy Brown actually gets to spit a verse on this track, along with part of the chorus. Awesome track.
11. Edge - This sounds like a Royce Da 5'9 beat, and he pulls out a good verse but an even better chorus, nice meaning to it; However, it's nothing too special, just 'good'.
12. Here With Me - This track is similar to a Scarface-type beat, and he spits fire on this track. Something still seems missing, and it might have to do with the chorus. It's not the usual chorus. Produced by Just Blaze.
13. Diamonds and Mac 10's - HOTTEST beat on the entire album, and my second favorite track (at the moment). Very meaningful, and he spits FIRE on this track with some deep and personal thoughts. The beat was done by Just Blaze, and it's similar to a Jay-Z beat.
Final Thought - Shyne, "Godfather Buried Alive" is without a doubt the best album I've heard since Jadakiss put his out, and I even like this better. It has every style you could possibly want, and the tracks on here are not fillers. They all are bomb tracks, except "Behind The Walls". GET OUT, GO TO A STORE, BUY THIS ALBUM. This is my first of hearing Shyne, and I'm going to be a fan for quite some time.
