Like at IOW you have to wait until people pass the levels to reveal new titles :) Currently the first title change is at 300 posts, thats all I will reveal.

300 posts? I would have thought 100 would be more logical...makes new members feel more accepted when they are no longer a jobber, so the sooner that title goes, the better.Well, I ain't running the forum, so it's up to you the way you run it :)

I think 3009 makes it more like a roleplaying thing because when you're a jobber you're a jobber for a while

i think we should have a system thing where something happens a little like this. The guy with the most posts gets the title as WP Heavyweight Champion as so on. You know what i mean?

Sorry Thursday, but I don't really like that idea, as it encourages people to try to post as much as possible just to get the post count up so they can be the champion. The result will be short, uninsightful posts...I would rather have quality posts over quantity. Not a bad idea, but I think it would do more harm than good.

How about, every month or so all the mods and admins will get together and pick a champion. The selection will not be based on post number but on the quantity of quality. This will make people create better quality posts.

i like that idea! a way of encouraging quality not quantity, it could do wonders for the board. Only problem is, it might lead to arguements as to why was mr.x picked and not me, if you see what i mean.
