Ric Flair was interviewed on the Score this past Tuesday.

He said some comments about his new book, but mostly it was on Bret Hart.

He said he was the only one who put Bret Hart over in WCW, the only one who made Hart look good in WCW. No one else would work with hart. He said Nash, no, Hall, no, Goldberg, no Ric Flair, yes.

Flair also mentioned about the comment Hart left about how the NWA title means nothing, and Flair won that world title nine times, and the real title (WCW/WWE title) 7 times, making him a 7 time champion, not 16. Flair said that Hart came from a NWA family, and then named all the big names that won that title, but he said Bret Hart wasn’t in there, Hart was jealous because he never won that title.

Bret Hart was unable to be reached for comment, but is said to working on his own book. It will be interesting to see how he hits Flair because this "War or Words" has already gone to far.

What is your opinion on Flair's comments?

Only comment I have to make is I'm wondering how many trees Bret will dedicate to the SS '97 incident and his comments on Flair when writing his book. Flair mentioned him in a couple of sentences, I doubt Hart will be able to keep it under three pages of insults.

Ok, Personally I think that this really needs to stop. What more can be said? Bret and Ric have been saying the exact same thing in every interview that they have had. It's Ric's opinion and as much as I disagree with it, he has a right to have it, even if he is wrong. The problem with Flair is that he went too far a few times. He dissed the entire country of Canada and his comments about Bret's reaction to Owen. Flair needs to realize that Owen was Bret's brother. That makes Flair's comments very very very disrespectfull. I think that Flair seems to be really pissing off a large group of fans and it kinda makes me wonder if all of this is being done in character?

I agree, but aren't they being asked to do these interviews and being asked the questions? I don't think they're going around requesting interviews and I think MOST of these interviews were scheduled BEFORE their little "war" started.

Yeah, but you can't just ignore the fact that Bret just started accusing Flair of jumping on Foley for no reason. Foley blamed Flair for him not making it during the beginning of his career. Bret and his family knew all about the NWA and how it was run and they should have known that. Instead, Bret just starts throwing out random accusations.

So, Bret talking more about SS '97 than Owen's death wasn't disrespectful? Because Flair is right about Bret putting more focus on what happened that night with HBK and Vince than what happened with Owen.
