So, who else has Skyrim? I got it on launch day and have been playing it pretty much ever since. I may also have a week off work to delve into it as well.

So... Discuss?

It's pretty amazing. I've hardly been working on the main storyline, pretty much went straight to the dark brotherhood and thieve's guild as soon as I could. The dragons are cool, believable size to be brought down by one person (the easy ones anyway, haven't seen the harder ones since I'm not doing what I'm "supposed to"). It's great that all the dungeons are so different, I can't tell what's going to be happening just based on the mobs inside. The expansiveness of the world is amazing, I can't believe it all fits on one disc.
I'll probably write more when I figure out what exactly to say about the game. It's just amazing, and has sadly been the main reason why I haven't roleplayed for Redemption yet. Sorry Gunnar. I'm getting around to it I promise!

No worries, come Friday I shall be entertaining a similar problem with the release of Skyward Sword to fit in with Skyrim and polishing off Radient Historia.

On Skyrim, I'll sing praises for being as big as it is, plenty of stuff to do and the amount of time I spent on it yesterday really surprised me especially as half that time I spent wandering around randomly following rabbits. The biggest thing that bugs me though, are the NPC's, generally in the way they are programmed in that they seem very basic

yeah, it'd be better if it seemed like they were put there for more reason than filling space or giving you quests. they just walk around towns with no purpose really. i try to avoid interacting with them unless i have to, even if i am missing out on quests. i have so much other stuff to do anyway in my log so i dobt feel like i'm missing something, but it'd have been nice to see them grow and do their own things.
