WWE Releases Unforgiven PPV Promo Poster Featuring Kane

In Demand has just recently released this year's Unforgiven 2004 PPV promo poster, featuring none other than Kane.

On the poster, is a giant image of Kane's face, smirking, faded in white showing his one white eye with the black pupil. On top, it says "INSANE. PAIN. KANE." and the Unforgiven text is at the bottom.

The PPV takes place live on PPV, September 12, 2004 from Portland, Oregon.

As noted earlier by Keith, the In Demand website has the following preview for the show:

"A new fire burns inside the monster Kane. Don’t miss it as RAW presents WWE Unforgiven, Sunday, September 12, live on Events iN DEMAND pay-per-view."

It kinda reminds me of a horror movie poster. But it looks good. Hopefully Kane will have a big match as well to match his advertising on the unforgiven pay per view.

You never know, remember Triple H was on the Vengeance 2001 poster and he had absolutely nothing to do with it.

Yeah but if you remember the WWE makes these posters months before the actual pay per view. And a few months before that Vengeance ppv the WWE asked Triple H if he will be able to make a run-in at Vengeance and he said maybe. Well the WWE took that maybe as a yes and when the pay per view was about to come up Triple H told him he wasn't cleared to do any kind of run-ins so the WWE had to keep that Vengeance ppv with HHH's face in it because they already advertised it. And it was kinda of a smart idea because more people ordered the ppv to see hhh come back even though the WWE knew he wouldn't be there so it turned out good for the WWE even though the fans were pissed off after the ppv.

Hopefully Kane will face Shawn Michaels at Unforgiven. Kane needs a huge win to save his career.

Well I heard that HBK will be out for several months but it would be pretty good to have Kane vs Shawn Michaels at Unforgiven seeing how HBK might not forgive Kane for what he did so the match does fit well with the pay per view name.

Thats exactly what's going to happen. Shawn had his vacation time extended and he should be returning shortly after The Slam.


A feud with HBK would be entertaining, but it'd be even better for Kane's character if he won.

Yeah but I dont see Vinnie Mac giving Kane a win over the Heartbreak Kid. If these two were to square off then I think they would really have to play up the size difference, lke they did for Shawn Michaels vs Diesel. HBK is always great at making the big guy look, well, big. Street Fight would be the perfect envoirment for a feud like this one.

OH yeah, kick ass poster. Really creepy and funnily enough its the kind of poster that gets Kane over.

Well, I think we may have been wrong. I read a report at LordsofPain that said Kane and Matt Hardy may be feuding throughout the duration of Lita's pregnancy.

I think could Unforgiven could prove to be the final deconstruction of Kane. A loss to someone at the next PPV could be the end of Kane's cred. The feud with Hardy could be in the future as Hardy could be out for over three months say I think a win for Kane isn't out but it is crucial.

Well rumors have it that Kane will face Shawn Michaels at Unforgiven and a victory over HBK would help out Kane.

It might be a little hard to believe but there is one thing good coming out of this Kane/Lita/Matt storyline and that is, "at least they are using Matt Hardy in a storyline for longer than two weeks on raw."
