I ponder about your favorite Intercontinental Title Match since the birth of the title.

My favorite I-C Title match was Mr. Perfect and Bret "Hit Man" Hart at SummerSlam '91

The series of ladder matches between Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon will always stand out in my mind as incredible matches. Also the Benoit vs. Jericho vs. Angle triple threat ruled as well.

Savage vs. Steamboat is one of the best matches ever. True dat! Now, one IC match I think gets overlooked was the Jericho vs. Benoit match at the Royal Rumble of 2001 (I believe). It was a ladder match, but it reminded me so much of the famous HBK vs. Razor Ramon IC match. Jericho putting the Walls of Jericho on Benoit on top of the ladder was a great moment. Those two put on one hell of a match.

Im gonna go along the same lines as alot of other guys. Macho Man vs Ricky Steamboat is just an unreal match. Two of the greatest the industry ever saw, during their prime. It is just pure wrestling.

Jericho vs Beniot, Royal Rumble 01. As good as HBK/Razor was, this was just that bit better. Jericho and Beniot put on one great show and worked their spots perfectly. Raws two best workers put on a great show that night.

Here is my problem with that one. I don't feel that match got the time it deserved. Jericho vs. Benoit, Steamboat vs. Savage and HBK vs. Razor Ramon all had the time needed to make their respective matches unbelieveable. Christian vs. RVD was good, but I just don't think it ranks up there as one of the best. Had that match been given more time, then there is no telling how good it could have been.

Was the Y2J vs Benoit RR 01 match the ladder match? That was my favourite, Jericho doing the ocotpus stretch (?) across the top of the ladder and the sick chair shot as Benoit dived bewteen the rope and jericho swung the chair at him. The other amazing IC match the two had was the two out of 3 falls, where Benoit eventually one by making Jericho pass out becuase he had the crossface around his neck. The only downside for that match was how short it was.
In terms of comedy the Chyna vs Jarrett "kitchen" match is my favourite. I was a mark then and it was really entertaining to watch.

The British Bulldog Vs Bret Hart - Summerslam 1992. It may not be a better match than the rest but the atmosphere at Wembley was amazing. It's the only real PPV to be held in England so it's also a historic event.

Probably Razor Ramon vs Shawn Michaels at WM10. It was such a great ladder match that no one will forget.

Eddie Guerrero vs RVD gets a honorable mention.
