I pretty much listed all of the stables listed from the May & June issues of the RAW Magazine. I voted D-Generation X.
Please reply with who you voted for, and if you want to, why you voted for them.

I went with nWo.

I chose nWo as well, Hogan going heel and shedding his good guy image to join Hall & Nash was one of the most shocking moments in wrestling history in my opinion.

the nWo. They had the majority of WCW in it and that has to give them some credibility.

I definately agree with Hogan's heel turn being one of the most shocking moments (if not the most shocking) in wrestling history.

Yet another vote for the NWO. However I would say the the main characters that made it successful are Hogan, Nash, and Hall. Well Syxx/X-pac did his part as well, but the rest did not matter as much.

For me it would be the nWo as well. Nash, Hall and Hogan revolutionized WCW and made it into a big company.

I say DX because they were rebels against everything and I thought they were a really cool group at the time (I was 11 or 12).
But nWo and Corporation gets a honorable mention.

For me it has to be D-Generation X. DX did what it needed to do and was one of the main reasons for the WWF's domination from mids 98-2000. The nWo got too caught up in BS and by the end just became a joke, much like the rest of wCw. When you look at longevity and freshness, I have to go for DX. For me the greatest stable that will ever be created.
Har Foundation run a close second and then nWo.

id have to say nWo, if it wasnt for the nWo angle wcw wouldnt have last as long as it did. the nWo did get overused a bit but i still think it was the greatest faction.

nWo...they made for some of the greatest moments in not just WCW history, but Pro-Wrestling history as well. Anyone remember the first time that they took out the wrestlers in the back with baseball bats? Rey Meysterio Jr. got thrown into the production van like a dart. I can't remember having more fun watching people get beat down.

I remember the last time I had that much fun. It was watching the True Kings beat the crap out of the Main Man. Good times.......
You know this is becoming nWo vs DX and DX seem to be leading. For me this is alot like wCw vs WWE. People choose one and stick by it. nWo helped put wCw on the map in 96-98 but DX were one of the main reasons for the WWE taking over once again in 98. Both groups did alot for their respective companies but IMO DX nudge out nWo. The nWo took on way WAY too many members and became a bit of a joke. When the nWo should have been killed they werent. DX lasted as long as it needed to last and the problems started when they needed to start.

Well to me DX was the nWo for the WWE. That's how I see it.
This might be kinda dumb but its weird how the nWo started with three members and DX also started with three members. But what made DX better was that they evolved (with old members leaving and new members coming in) and that they ended DX at the right time while the nWo lasted from 96 to the end of the nWo in 2000 I believe.

If I HAD to vote for any of them on the list it would be Four Horsemen hands down. But I'd rather vote for the Dangerous Alliance. I think that faction and the Horsemen were the best two factions ever. DA got me interested in wrestling in the first place. Paul Heyman, Rick Rude, Bobby Eaton, Steve Austin, Larry Zybysko, and Madusa? Pfft, no competition.

Yeah I kinda like the Dangerous Alliance. We in the UK have a program called WWE classics that is shown really early in the morning on Saturdays. Anyway they show old WCW shows from around 1992 and boy is Steve Austin different there than he is now. Back then he had long blond hair, no beard, wears a robe like Ric Flair and is called 'Stunning' Steve Austin. Also his wrestling style way different back then.

If I knew abouut the DA, I would have put them on the list. But seeing as how they weren't in the two-part RAW magazine article, and seeing as how I never heard of them until 2 posts ago, I didn't put them on the list.

NEVER HEARD OF THEM??? WOW!! Dude, you need to rent some old WCW tapes and find out about them. They were freakin awesome. I loved every member of the group except Madusa (I was in love with Missy Hyatt at the time).

I wasnt a wCw fan and never got into it but I did here of the Dangerous Alliance. Looking at the members you'd have to say they had the right factors needed to be up their with the greats. However being the Federation man I still stand by D-Generation X. They changed when they needed to change and they died when they needed to die.

Dx. i think this was the perfect heel faction. It not only was badass, but it was funny, and all that stuff. Heh, good old days...man I miss that, I dont know why, i have just always been a fan...
Very fresh, never ceased to suprise me. Maybe it was because the line up was put together and they clicked, or maybe it was the writers, who knows...but one thing that came out of it, was the best damn Faction ever...

DX gets my vote, they made watching wrestling alot of fun back then, and they were just the best.
I have never heard of this Dangerous Alliance either, but they have a cool sounding name in a way.

No Kid, that isn't permitted.. it falls under the rules of spamming which are clearly visible in the "Rules of WrestlePower" thread..
Under the rules are (in plain English) a detailed description of what falls under the "Spam" title.. they are as follows..
Ok, i'm going to clarify what all falls under the title of spam:
1) Posting off-topic
2) one word or one sentence answers to a conversation or answers/comments that do not give reasons for your answer or comment
3) Double-posting, i.e if you have two consecutive posts in one thread
4) "Bumping" a thread, i.e posting in a thread that hasn't been posted in, in over 30 days
5) Countinuously asking or posting the same thing
6) Deliberately mis-quoting some-one elses posts
7) Deliberately defying a moderator when he/she tells you to stop mentioning something.
It has actually been at least four months since this thread has been posted in and to follow standards I am going to have to give you a warning for this 'Big Shot'. Please do not flame or abuse myself for this it is simply a part of being a member of the forum. One warning is simply a stepping stone you can ride to realise you have made a mistake and attempt not to do so again. If you would like to discuss this with me please do so via PM.
