Here are the Smackdown Results.

Credit goes to prowrestlingscoops.com

Dark Match:

*John Heidenreich, with Paul Heyman defeated Shannon Moore.

Velocity:

*Johnny Stamboli pinned Danny Basham

*Hardcore Holly pinned Akio

In the ring right now is Rob Van Dam vs. Rene Dupree, so Van Dam is working Velocity for the second week in a row. *Rob Van Dam pinned Rene Dupree with the five star frog splash.

Smackdown:

*Kurt Angle comes to the ring with Luther Reigns and cuts a promo explaining that he had to do what he could do to make sure Eddie Guerrero didn't win the WWE championship. Angle said he wants Guerrero to apologize for winning the belt, tonight in order to keep his job. Angle turns his attention to ring announcer Tony Chimmel and said he announced Guerrero as the WWE champion when he won the belt. He makes Chimmel apologize for doing that in order to keep his job, but then turns around and fires him anyway.

*Josh Matthews is now the ring announcer on Smackdown.

*Spike Dudley defeated Chavo Guerrero and Jamie Noble, with Spike pinning Guerrero with the Dudley Dog to become the number one contender for the Cruiserweight championship.

*Backstage, the Divas come up to Kurt Angle and complain about being misused and underutilized. Angle agreed and announced a Fatal Four Way Lingerie match for later on with Sable vs. Dawn Marie vs. Torrie Wilson vs. Miss Jackie

*The Dudley Boyz cut a promo on the Titantron only for the Philadelphia crowd, talking about their time in "Extremely Crappy Wrestling" to insure they get a heel response when they come out later.

Also scheduled for tonight is Luther Reigns vs. John Cena and John Bradshaw Layfield's "Rocky Challenge."

*Bubba Ray Dudley pinned WWE Tag Team champion Billy Kidman.

*Backstage, Funaki interviewed Booker T and Kurt Angle. Angle told Booker that he was going to name him the new United States champion next week once he had it cleared with the Board of Directors. Funaki said that that wasn't fair, so Angle fired him for not knowing "how to speak English."

*Backstage, The Dudley Boyz came up to Spike Dudley and noted how they all have title shots next week. Spike blew them off and said that he didn't want anything to do with them. They promised they wouldn't interfere next week as long as Spike didn't interfere in D-Von's match with Rey Mysterio later tonight. Spike agreed and walked off.

*WWE champion John Bradshaw Layfield came out and said that since he's in Philadelphia, where the Rocky film was shot, he was laying out a Rocky challenge for someone to try and defeat him and if they did, they could have a title shot at Summerslam. Out came Mike Kruel (USA Pro/ECWA who has worked a lot of dark and TV shots for WWE) who Layfield beats easily. Layfield says that he guesses he doesn't have a match at Summerslam. The lights go out and the Undertaker gong hits. Undertaker comes out and faces off with Layfield. Undertaker chokeslams Layfield and takes the ring mic. "You...me...Summerslam." He says and walks off.

*The divas came down for their Fatal Four Way Lingere match featuring Sable vs. Miss Jackie vs. Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie. Kurt Angle came out and fired all of them.

*Rey Mysterio pinned D-Von Dudley. Bubba Ray Dudley tried to interfere but Paul London and Billy Kidman came out.

*John Cena pinned Luther Reigns after Booker T attempted to interfere, but it backfired.

*Kurt Angle came to the ring and called out Eddie Guerrero, telling him it was time to apologize because "You don't cross the boss." Vince McMahon's music hit and he came to the ring. McMahon told Angle that he lied to all the fans about his injury, but more importantly, he lied to Vince. Vince said that he was going to get a humanitarian award for making a handicapped person a General Manager, but that is out the window because Angle lied. He told Angle that he was fired as General Manager, but was back on the active roster. McMahon announced he would be facing Eddie Guerrero at Summerslam. Guerrero came out in his low rider. McMahon got in the car and made it bounce.

Guerrero left and McMahon came back to the ring. He told Angle that he had to apologize to everyone he fired tonight, and brought them out. Angle apologized to Funaki and Tony Chimmel but refused to apologize to the divas. Vince told him he was going to have to join the "Kiss My A**" club for the divas. Angle refused and offered to kiss Vince's A**. Vince said No because he has a "Special A**." He gave 10 seconds to kiss or apologize. Angle apologized. Vince said that Angle now has to apologize to him. Angle got on his knees but instead low blowed McMahon. Everyone checked on McMahon as Angle escaped.

Suzuki anyone? Wow plot holes do suck.

Anyway looks to be an OK show, but I can't see there being an outstanding match on the entire card. It was what was expected, Taker/JBL, Angle fired. Dudleyz/Kidman&London rematch. Not too sure about Spike as number one contender, I don't think he and Rey will have a very good match. Looks OK though. See how it turns out this w/e.

But now that the General Manager spot is open I wonder when will Vince announce the new manager?

Anyway, all the rumors of a Undertaker vs JBL match is now true because of JBL's promo on Smackdown where taker came out and told JBL "You, me, Summerslam". So hopefully when Taker wins the title he will lose it one month later to John Cena, hopefully.

I would count on a lengthy title run for Taker, meaning I could see him keeping the belt until the end of the year. Right now, Taker does not have a quality heel opponent to face once he beats JBL. He and Booker could hook up, but that would be too soon. Cena being next in line is a good choice, but I don't see it unless Taker goes heel.

Well there have been some good Face/Face matches and it turned out pretty good. So really there's nothing wrong with a Cena/Taker Feud.

I have to disagree here. I just can't see a Cena/Taker feud right now. I want Taker to turn heel, but since he will be facing JBL, that signals to me that he is still a face (even though he did bury Bearer in cement). RVD would be a good call, but I doubt that will happen because he has been on Velocity more than Smackdown (which I don't get).

This is how I see it:

Taker beats JBL for the WWE Title at Summerslam
Kurt beats Taker for the WWE Title at Survivor Series
Cena beats Kurt for the WWE Title at WM21

Well the WWE can always have JBL win thanks to John Heidenreich helping him against taker at SS. This can lead to a JBL/Cena Feud for the WWE Title and a Undertaker/Heidenreich feud seeing how a few weeks ago Taker said he was going to bury Paul Heyman.

Well, I can't see Taker putting JBL over. As for Heidenreich, I can't see him going right into a program with Taker because nobody really knows who he is. I think it is pretty much a given that Taker will be the next WWE Champion.

Same thing with Brock Lesnar. When he first came to the WWE no one knew who he is but look what they did, he won the king of the ring, defeated the rock for the WWE Title and so on. So the WWE might do the same thing with Heidenreich even though many fans wouldn't like that.

But let's see here. Oh, yeah. Brock Lesnar had a little something called ... talent! I hate it when people compare useless, talentless nobodies who come in and get a push to Brock Lesnar. A comparison between Brock Lesnar and someone like Randy Orton or John Cena (not proving my point right now though), two talented workers, who get a monster push immediately, is legit. But again, there's one thing that Brock Lesnar and a talented, rushed superstar have in common ... talent!

I've said once before, and maybe even more than that, that Brock Lesnar had the abilities and was a great athlete. The fans picked up on Brock Lesnar immediately and was only feuding with the Hardyz when he came in, but this guy had talent. Yes, I know some people would say he also had Heyman at his side, so there's reason to believe that John Hendenreich will be over as well, but once again my argument is talent. Brock Lesnar had Paul E. and talent, Johnny has only Heyman. And Heyman can do alot of thins, but one thing he can't is giving guys in-ring talent!

That is true.

But I haven't seen John Heidenreich wrestle (not even on Raw or Heat) so I can't judge him on his wrestling skills. I will just have to wait and see. But what I want to know is whatever happened to Matt Morgan? I know he went back to OVW but I haven't heard about him in OVW for awhile.

Last I heard of him he was the OVW champion. It may or may not be true.

I believe he is the current OVW Heavyweight Champion. Well maybe they will bring him back to the WWE, maybe they just haven't found a storyline for him.

His storyline is coming to Smackdown as a force with Paul E. Heyman as his manager. But there's been some sort of mixup and John Hendenreich wound up taking Matt Morgan's place.

I don't know. Perhaps they will come with something better for Matt, but still this whole John Hendenreich/Paul E. thing will blow chunks IMO. If I'm wrong, then I'll admit it. But those are my sentiments right now and I'm stickin' with 'em.

Well maybe after a month with Heidenreich on Smackdown the WWE will realize that Morgan was a better choice and Morgan can come in and feud with Heidenreich in which Morgan would destroy Heidenreich and the WWE can go from there.
